Absolutely flawless - a dream venue & we love Kelly!!!

We had our wedding reception at City Club Fort Worth on June 7th, 2025 and it was truly everything we could have hoped for and more.
The space itself is stunning — timeless, elegant, and rich with candlelit charm.
Every detail of the setup was perfect, and the atmosphere they created felt both luxurious and intimate. Seriously - no notes on what could have been better!

The food was incredible (guests are still raving), and the service was top tier — attentive, warm, and seamless all evening long.

A HUGE shout out to Kelly Norvell, she was an absolute God send from start to finish.
So helpful, communicative, and genuinely made us feel cared for every step of the way.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but with Kelly, we always felt supported and in good hands. She brought our vision to life in the most beautiful way.

We are forever grateful to the entire team at City Club for helping us host the most magical night of our lives. 10/10 wish we could do it all over again!

Simply the best!

Choosing to have my wedding at City Club in Fort Worth was the best decision I made for my wedding. When you have your wedding at City Club, not only is it stunning, impeccably staffed and with amazing food; you get to work with Kelly! She is a veteran of the wedding industry and is truly a gem of a human being. From the moment I met her, I knew this was the woman that would make the best day of my life possible. What I did not know was that there would be a global pandemic and two postponements before this day happened! I feel truly blessed to have gone through being a covid bride with Kelly and the crew at City Club. There were so many times our doubt, stress and anxiety during the wedding planning process due to the pandemic…but at every turn Kelly was there to calm my nerves or help me make decisions and find solutions. She truly goes above and beyond with her brides. Our guests said our wedding was the most elegant and most fun wedding they have ever been to. I feel so privileged to be a City Club bride and I will really miss emailing with Kelly! Thank you for making the happiest day of my life possible!

We Love City Club & Kelly

Wow. What an amazing experience! Kelly is my one of my favorite people now. She was the best to work with. Caring, professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. We first looked at the venue but went in another direction. When things did not go well in the other direction, Kelly was there to save the day. Through 3 date changes, we finally made it but it was an experience our friends, family, and we will never forget. I’ll miss working with Kelly for sure

Fantastic Venue!

I have nothing but good things to say about my daughter's wedding reception at City Club. Kelly is the absolute best. She handled EVERYTHING while I got to enjoy the party. The food was amazing. The location is superb. All the guests were very pleased that they could walk to the Worthington after the reception and didn't have to drive. Lots of compliments from our guests.

We were one of the unfortunate Covid-19 wedding re-schedules, as well. Kelly was great even navigating us through those rather challenging times, presenting us with lots of options and solutions on the never-ending merry-go-round of local and state quarantine mandates. If you are thinking about hosting an event here, DO IT!! You will NOT be disappointed.

Greatest venue!

The City Club of Fort Worth is an amazing venue to get married. From start to finish they make the process so smooth. They take care of food, beverages, tables, chairs, silverware, etc. Kelly is wonderful to work with. She not only is responsive but is friendly and makes planning easy. The day of my wedding, she had everything set up for me. The signs, guest favors, place cards, guest book, card box. There is also this absolutely beautiful bridal room to get ready in. I had 11 people getting hair and make up so she made sure I could have the room as early as 8:00am. It provides a very nice view of the city. Right when we walked in we were greeted with bagels and mimosas and they even had lunch for us. We heard from countless guests how delicious the food was and how pretty they thought the venue was. It looks stunning at night with the view of downtown and the lights. I would highly recommend this venue, you will not be disappointed!

Loved the City Club!

We loved having our reception at the City Club! Honestly, it was the only venue we looked at, but we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. We chose the Oak Room, and the richness of the woods and the darker tones in there were a perfect fit for us and our style. The other room with all the mirrors is beautiful, too, but the Oak Room lent a bit of a 1920s richness meets grand library feel, which we adored. The adjacent bar was also beautiful and perfect for hosting our cocktail hour. And we were able to sneak out onto the roof for some beautiful photos with downtown Fort Worth in the background.

Kelly Norvell and her team were a breeze to work with. Kelly was always open to questions, and lent her experienced suggestions, which were much appreciated. She was incredibly flexible, knowledgeable, and open to any specific requests we had. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and our guests raved about the every aspect of our reception there. If you're looking for an opulent space, delectable food, and friendly vendors for your reception, you won't find anything more perfect than the City Club!

"This is the best wedding reception I've ever been to!"

I cannot image a venue any more perfect for a wedding reception than The Fort Worth Club! The food was exquisite! The room and set-up provided an inviting, elegant, fantastically fun experience. The bar service and wait staff were wonderful. Comments heard from our guests included: “This wedding reception has set the bar at a whole new level” “This is the best wedding reception I’ve ever been to!” “I don’t know when I’ve had this much fun!” “This place is spectacular!” “This is THE BEST food I’ve ever had at a reception!”
I wish I could personally thank every person at the Fort Worth Club who helped make our daughter's wedding reception the most spectacular party I’ve ever been part of. Their customer service and attention to detail is exceptional! Memories were made at the Fort Worth Club that will warm the hearts of the bride, groom, our families and friends for the rest of our lives. I’m still smiling! Thanks to all of you at the Fort Worth Club!

What can I say other than the City Club was easily the best choice we made for our wedding? Kelly is SO GREAT! She is organized, kind, professional, and so so so good at what she does. She went above and beyond during my wedding reception, including helping me when a part of my dress ripped! The entire City Club staff was top notch. We cannot stop getting compliments for our smooth our wedding ran and it is all thanks to Kelly & City Club. Not to mention, the food was to die for. The ballroom is just beautiful! We also used the Terrace Room for our Cocktail Hour and it was fabulous overlooking Sundance Square. I recommend City Club to everyone! You cannot make a better choice.

Kelly and the staff,at the City Club were outstanding! They took care of everything for us. Kelly and her staff coordinated our entire wedding and made our wedding a beautiful and memorable day. Kelly and her talented team at City Club Fort Worth were instrumental in planning, coordinating and executing a beautiful and flawless wedding for my bride and family. At every corner, Kelly had every detailed planned well in advance. She continually communicated to us her plans and details of the event. She always took our suggestions and plans and, with a smile and grace, simply made them happen. No detail was overlooked. The staff that arrived on the wedding day were all professional, talented and gracious. I honestly don't know how they did it, but we had the wedding of our dreams.

Getting married around the holidays made flexibility really important both for me and the venue. Kelly was awesome to come in the day after Thanksgiving for the rehearsal, let us in when we needed to on wedding day, and got us whatever we needed. Her communication with me and my mom was excellent and timely. The staff on wedding day was also excellent and helpful. Our wedding day was so stress free! I’m so thankful to have found City club for our special day!

My daughter's reception at City Club was perfect!!! The ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was outstanding. And planning it all with Kelly Norvell was the icing on the cake. We have had nothing but compliments and are so glad that we chose City Club. It was honestly the only place that we toured....once we saw it we knew it was perfect!

If you are looking for a glamorous venue in the city, you MUST pick City Club! Everything was stunning! Kelly was amazing to work with and all of my other vendors were extremely familiar with City Club, so everything went beautifully. I had a lot of out of town guests, so this was the perfect venue! The food is amazing and they really work with you to provide your dream wedding! Our photos are beautiful and we still have guests raving about the venue and the food. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough good things about City Club Fort Worth and Kelly and her team! We had a fabulous day! Kelly and her team (Cathy, etc.) were wonderful from the initial planning through the event. They had space available for the wedding party to get ready (as well as buffet luncheon). They even had a steamer available for me to use to steam the veil and wedding gown. We had a cocktail hour in the Terrace room and the reception was in the ballroom. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was amazing. So many people said it was one of the best receptions they've every been to.

I don't think I can write a review nice enough to convey how much a loved having City Club host my wedding reception. I fell in love with how beautiful and elegant the venue was during our initial tour, and loved how friendly and knowledgeable Angie (The Catering Sales Manager) that we immediately felt comfortable and at ease booking with them. Throughout the whole 13-month long planning process, Angie was so helpful, responsive and patient with all of my questions (from myself and our parents), requests and changes. The week of my wedding (when I was busy beyond belief) I didn't have to worry about contacting and coordinating my reception vendors because Angie and Cathy (our wonderful day-of-coordinator) took care of that for me. The food was incredible (we had multiple guests remark on how great it was) the service was fantastic, and our entire reception went off with out a hitch. It was beautiful, stress-free and seamless. Deciding to have our wedding reception at City Club was one of the best decisions I made during the planning and I am SO grateful for Angie, Cathy and all of the wonderful staff at City Club. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone.

Our reception at City Club far exceeded my expectations! Kelly Norvell and Cathy Wheeler were so helpful and answered my thousands of questions during the planning process. They gave me so much advice and help along the way. They also executed the wedding perfectly on the day of! Everything went as planned, and the reception was amazing. The room was beautiful, the food was great, and most importantly, I had fully enjoyed the night because there were no problems! I highly recommend City Club!

If I had one word to describe City Club that would be FLAWLESS. I can not name one item that the catering team and coordinators did not execute to perfection. The team at City Club helped make my dream wedding a reality. Angie Moors is truly the best catering manager that any bride planning her wedding could ask for. As I am know in the industry, I look back at her impeccable attention to detail and understanding my families needs. She was cordial, professional and patient through the process. The day of execution was fantastic and there is not another venue in DFW that ensures the bride and groom along with their families are well taken care of throughout the evening. I can't thank City Clib and the staff enough for making our wedding everything I could have asked for!

What am amazing venue! Angie, the coordinator at city club, was so quick to respond to any questions I had at any time, even when she was out of the office. I felt that this was the highest quality for the price I paid out of all the venues I researched. Everything was just beautiful and my guests loved every minute of my wedding reception, including the food. Honestly, I received nothing but impeccable service throughout the whole planning process and during the event itself. The bridal attendants that tended to us throughout the event were awesome and did not make us feel rushed at all. I have no regrets booking this venue and would recommend to any of my friends or family. It was worth every penny and made a lifetime of memories! Thank you City Club!!!

Booking our event with the City Club is by far the best decision we made in planning our wedding! Angie made the entire process leading up to the wedding easy & panic-free. She had everything under control from day one. She was so great at answering emails and phone calls in a timely manner and always had the answers & best advice! We had our ceremony & reception at the City Club and both were done so beautifully. We didn't have to worry about anything during the day because Angie's team had it under control. The food was raved about & I still get calls from family talking about how great it was. I cannot say enough great things about this place & Angie!!!

The venue was great, but the staff was amazing. They had every last detail ironed out so that we had zero worries on our big day. We received many compliments after our wedding and several of those were in regard to the staff and how attentive they were that evening. Can not think of one thing I would change.

City Club Fort Worth was a dream for our wedding reception!! Angie was extremely attentive to our needs and responded to our multiple emails within 30 minutes -- even on weekends. We held our reception in their Ballroom, and every guest said it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to!

I cannot rave enough about City Club. City club is absolutely amazing. The staff is incredible, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and they have the best secret weapon out there - Angie Moors. She made my wedding planning so much less stressful. When I would email her, she would literally respond right back. When i would ask her 20 questions at once, she would answer everyone of them. She is so professional, so nice, so accommodating, and I could go on. My reception was absolutely flawless and I had so many guests tell me how beautiful it was. I will recommend City Club to everyone!

AMAZING staff! So happy with the communication with Angie Moors beginning a year before my wedding and execution of all of our requests was FLAWLESS with the help of Sara-Ashley Hayes! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Angie was able to calm my nerves when I was overwhelmed, suggest vendors and answer a wide array of questions within minutes via phone or email. I appreciate their professionalism, sense of urgency and accommodating last minute requests! At another venue where we held the rehearsal dinner, the equipment was malfunctioning so we couldn't share the picture slide show that the groom's mother prepared. I emailed Angie on the morning of our wedding and she set up visual equipment in the cocktail room so our guests could enjoy!

Our experience with City Club Fort Worth was absolutely amazing. The venue was perfect for what we wanted and more than reasonable on price. We essentially had City Club Fort Worth take care of everything besides a few table settings and decorations which really helped keep the reception planning to a minimum, and they did a wonderful job. Angie was always available to answer questions (we had a lot!) and Sarah Ashley really took care of us on the day of the wedding.

We had our son and fiancée's rehearsal dinner in the Oak Room at the City Club this past weekend and had a fabulous experience. Since we live in Boston, we arranged the whole event from afar. Angie, the catering manager, was a dream to work with - very responsive, friendly, and patient. The night went off without a single problem and everyone commented on how beautiful the room was, how the food was excellent, and the staff friendly. I can't imagine a better venue! My wife and I had our wedding reception in the ballroom at the City Club of Fort Worth earlier this year (2014) and it was beautiful. We are still getting comments from our friends and family on how wonderful the reception was. Angie Moors, the City Club Coordinator, was amazing, she had everything we could think of covered. She had every "t" crossed and every "i" dotted. She truly made our reception run perfectly. She is an outstanding coordinator and a wonderful person to work with. We would hire her any day for any event. If you are looking for beautiful venue with great value in downtown Fort Worth, you have to go with the City Club of Fort Worth.

Words cannot express the greatness that is City Club. The staff there is so professional & made sure our wedding was beautiful & delicious. The venue is gorgeous. I did very little to decorate as the setting itself requires minimal decorating. The food was amazing. It has been a year & a half & we still hear from our guests how great the food was. We had a champagne flute break at the stem during our reception & the staff whisked it away & promptly, magically fixed it. I would get married there once a month if I could!

Angie did an excellent job. She was so easy to reach and discuss ideas and changes. She suggested the Lattes on Location that was a huge hit with our crowd and made the event so much more memorable. The day of, Angie keep everything moving forward. The event catering staff was excellent on the day of, even taking problems to my daughter instead of me during the event. The food was very tasty, with my only disappointment being that the lemon pound cake was very dry and the glaze was wrong. Also, brunch would have had a better flow if there had been more cooks at the omelet station to get people through faster. Many people told me they just didn't want to stand in the long omelet line. We had given Angie 'jingle wands' to use instead of rice. In retrospect, it would have been better to preset them at each place. As it was they were forgotten completely.

My wedding was the weekend of one of the worst ice storms the DFW area has seen in awhile but City Club was still absolutely amazing. They took care of everything and it all looked so beautiful. The food was amazing and we have gotten SO many compliments on it and the wonderful service as well. Angie was incredible and we don't know what we would have done without her! She was always so friendly, extremely quick to respond, answer any questions or make any changes anytime we needed and she gave us several great ideas we never would have thought of on our own. Estela was absolutely amazing as well and went above and beyond to make us happy! Peggie braved the ice to be there for our rehearsal despite City Club being closed and she was so great and helpful too! Overall, we could not have been happier with the entire experience and everything was even better than we could have imagined!

We couldn't have been more pleased with City Club's catering services for the wedding reception we had at Times Ten Cellars. Our guests loved the delicious Asian hors d' ouevres and the fact they were passed around among the guests with small signs on each tray listing the ingredients. All City Club staff were so professional and reliable: we had peace of mind about the smallest details and were free to enjoy the evening with our families and friends. Priceless!

My daughter, Lauren and her husband, Nick live in Singapore. They were married in Bali, Indonesia in August 2013 with only immediate family attending. They came back to Fort Worth for the holidays so we planned a reception for family and friends while they were here. They have lived in Asia since 2011 and wanted this event to be more like the upscale events they attend in that arena rather than a traditional wedding reception but with an Asian feel to it. Our event was offsite at Times Ten Winery and the City Club staff worked with the venue to create a seamless, elegant evening. We heard nothing but compliments on the food, presentation and service. Angie, Chef and their team did an excellent job and upheld the standard City Club has established in their many years serving the North Texas area.

Angie is the BEST coordinator to work with. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, when in reality I know she was super busy with many other things! She was so quick to respond to any questions I had. I LOVE her! And the city club is so beautiful. Their ballroom is unlike any other I've seen. It's so gorgeous and one of a kind! Book this place NOW. We looked at what seemed like every venue in Fort Worth and didn't see anything that really jumped out at us. We had specific things we knew we wanted in a venue like the ability to bring in our own alcohol and catering and it seemed like all the places that allowed for that also found some other ways to charge us additional fees for other things like chairs, silverware, etc. While flipping through a magazine, I saw beautiful spread that featured the City Club - and even though they required us to use their catering and beverage services - I contacted them anyway just to get a quote. Shortly after we talked and toured the venue, we signed the contract and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. Wedding planning was so stress-free all thanks to Angie Moors, Estela and the City Club. The City Club handled everything, right down to the set-up and take down. The venue came with gold chiavari chairs, stage set-up, dancefloor set up at no extra cost! Their food selection was amazing and even after a steak dinner and full open bar quote for 150 guests, our total still came out a good $1K less than every venue quote that was more DIY. On top of all that, this place is gorgeous. Their ballroom is glittering with these amazing mirrors that made our minimalist decorations just sparkle. Every guest raved about every detail and it's hard to take credit because it was literally just how the City Club always looks! We got assigned a bridal captain/wedding coordinator, Estela, for the day of who helped arrange every single detail of our schedule and made sure our wedding party and parents were attended to. Estela and Angie's coordination, organization and attention to our wedding made wedding planning a breeze for my fiance and myself. Throughout the day before our wedding and on the day of, we kept bringing up issues and kept hearing Estela say "no, I'll take care of it," letting us focus on each other for our special day.

I love Angie Moors! She does an incredible job as catering manger! She was always so quick to respond with emails and calls - something you really appreciate as a bride who's trying to pull together so many different items together. Maybe I'm a little impatient too :)

Flexibility was another thing - I made a terrible mistake of showing up the wrong hour for our tasting, but Angie was able to make it work.

The value is top notch. The food was wonderful; we got so many compliments especially on the late night snacks. People loved them! We had a sit down dinner and it just went so flawlessly - I sat there eating and realized I never told the caterers which tables the 4 vegetarians were sitting at - but they had it under control already and had served them their vegetarian dishes. The children loved the kids meals they got too.

Overall - I couldn't have asked for a better catering company - management is so important for catering and Angie does an incredible job - and the food was great!!

City Club did an amazing job as the venue for my wedding! We had both the ceremony (vow renewal) and reception in the Grand Ballroom. We had about 120 guests. The ballroom is gorgeous beyond belief. It is so glamorous with all the mirrors and floor to ceiling windows overlooking Sundance Square. Angie, the catering coordinator and honestly all around coordinator, was fabulous! She was on top of everything and helped me plan the majority of the evening. She knows all the little details that I had no idea to plan for and had the timeline for the evening down to a science. She recommended vendors for me to contact for anything and everything I might need (I used two of her recommendations---one for the DJ and one for the Florist---both vendors were fantastic.) We had plated meals at our reception along with hors d'oeuvres. The food was delicious...definitely not typical wedding food like so many other venues. Everyone raved about their meals during and after the event. The staff at City Club (wait staff and bar tenders) were all extremely professional. Estella was at my side the second I appeared in stress or was in need of anything. She even went upstairs and grabbed my flip flops for me because my feet were killing me! Who does that?! City Club! They cater to anything you need and are happy to do so. They even sent my husband and I home with extra cake and snacks because they know (of course) that the bride and groom barely have time to eat at their own wedding haha. I couldn't give them higher praise. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. If you go with City Club, you will have zero worries on your wedding day. They are perfect.

Our daughter's wedding and reception was perfect thanks to the work of Angie Moors, Estella and Cristina at City Club Fort Worth. Every detail was attended to in advance, suggestions to improve the ceremony and reception were suggested but not required (we used every one of their suggestions) and execution of every part was flawless.

Maintenance helped us design an altar centerpiece that had never been done before for the Gallery. It was so worth it to drop off the decorations and then see them all set up for us, then packed up and put away for us to take home after the wedding.

City Club is not more expensive that other venues when you consider the value added. There was an army of staff at the reception, taking care of every guest with equal care. The Ballroom is spacious and gorgeous and the downtown backdrop makes beautiful pictures. Parking is free and covered. The meal and appetizers were all delicious, the bartenders were courteous yet watched for those overdoing it.

I don't know what else I can say - don't have your wedding anywhere else.

I had to recover a little bit from the wedding before I could write this but I want to commend you and your staff for the excellent job they did at the Wall/Bua wedding 6-22-2013. All of our guests were stunned and amazed at how gorgeous the ballroom was decorated. The staff was very helpful, courteous and prompt. One guest from Houston is a professional caterer and she remarked that she thought the food was excellent and the service top-notch. One other guest who was always a fan of destination weddings said “I don’t know what you paid but it was worth every dime!”

You did a great job of creating the atmosphere that my daughter wanted with very little instruction from us. The votives in the windows and the lights of downtown Fort Worth made everything glitter. David and Lisa were always confident from the start that you would be on top of things when other vendors were not. We are very lucky Lisa found City Club and choose that for her reception. I hosted a Bridesmaid Luncheon for my niece at City Club Fort Worth. This is the second such event I have had there, and the second one was as perfect as the first. Angie Moors is amazing and took care of all requests, questions and details prior to the event. The room was beautiful with a lovely view of the city, the food was delicious, and the servide was superb. All the guests loved it and I heard nothing but positive comments and feedback. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and it will be my first choice should I have luncheon or catering needs arise in the future. There is no place in DFW like the City Club and there is definitely no better team to work with. Anytime we contacted Angie she was prepared to help us with anything that we needed. I constantly was telling my family that when I spoke to Angie she made me feel as if I were the only client she had at the time. Angie was so attentive and organized. Our daughters wedding reception was held at City Club. I cannot begin to shout out enough praise from the beginning to the end! Every experience from the booking to the tasting to the end of the reception was PERFECT! Great communication all the way and everything was executed perfectly! Angie Moors is an angel to work with. We all know the venue is, by far, what sets the precedent of any wedding. The venue is what sets the mood and personality of the wedding. We had our ceremony and reception at the Fort Worth City Club in January 2012. We decided this after researching and visiting multiple venues. They were very organized and attentive to detail, which eased the somewhat stressful process of planning a wedding. Angie Moors is their new Catering and Sales Manager and she was great to work with. You can tell she has an extensive amount of knowledge in wedding planning and we were appreciative for her ideas and her ability to ensure everything came together. Most importantly, she seemed to genuinely care about every detail.

Some things we liked about them: they have 2 events each year where they bring in their preferred vendors and give you a free sampling of their services, as well as sample the City Club’s catering menu etc. We would highly recommend going. They also offer a private tasting of your choice of menu items to help narrow down your choices. One of the best perks is that they assign you a day of wedding planner to help on your wedding day. Ours was great in that we really had nothing to worry about during the event. She worked very well with our DJ to make sure that everything went as planned. Their staff was very attentive throughout the evening and made sure everything was perfect. Even though we happened to be getting married on Angie’s birthday she stopped by to ensure that everything was going as planned and that we and our guests were having a great time. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Angie and how helpful and professional she was to work with. She truly went the extra mile for every request we had. The evening went by flawlessly and all of our guests told us that everything was perfect!

We worked with Angie at the City Club and could not have asked for a better experience when planning our reception. City Club is the very BEST place to have a wedding! We had our ceremony and wedding reception at City Club and we couldn't be happier about the quality of service and the food. The staff were so professional and handled every single detail with polish and kindness. They all knew I was stressed and Angie, the Wedding Coordinator, kept me calm and relaxed. She was amazingly organized and never missed a beat. The food was unbelievably good! We had a plated dinner and it was as if we were in a fine dining restaurant. It came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious. When it came time to leave, the staff took everything to our car for us and my family did not have to worry about anything as we all left the club. We were truly pampered by City Club and it came as part of the package price! Just incredible! I highly recommend City Club!

Amy & the City Club team were just amazing! The whole team went out of their way to help us with everything and make sure the day was perfect...and it was! The City Club Ballroom is so beautiful & elegant, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly/ accomodating. Ryan & I were so happy with everything and with the way we were treated...it was truly our day! Thank you to Amy & City Club team for making our day just as we had imagined it!

The City Club was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception. The list of preferred vendors they have was a life saver and they are without a doubt the best in the business. Heather Puckett is AMAZING...the best Wedding Coordinator a bride could ask for! She took care of every detail and made me feel as if our wedding was the only event on her very busy calendar. I have nothing but great things to say about Heather and her work at the City Club!

Heather did an amazing job with our wedding. She was always on top of everything and the wedding reception went off with out any problems. The City Club is definitely an amazing location and setting for a picture perfect wedding reception. The staff was very polite and efficient. All of our guests had nothing but praise the City Club and their team.

Amy Shackelford and her team at City Club went over and beyond to meet all my expectations for the wedding of my dreams. From the exquisite food to service and all the hospitality they had to offer, I couldn't recommend anyone better. It was truly the most magnificent and magical weekend of my whole life! I will always cherish all the amazing details and memorable moments they provided my husband and I in the celebration of our marriage. What an incredible company!!!

The Oak Room at the City Club is where we had our rehearsal dinner, and it was spectacular! Such a gorgeous room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking downtown. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

City Club Fort Worth was a great venue for my daughter's wedding. Angie Moors was particularly helpful and always striving to please us. The Club was very flexible on our menu and respectful of our budget. This venue is beautiful!

City Club was the ideal "all-inclusive" downtown Fort Worth venue for us. Great location, view and facility all in one! Angie, the main wedding coordinator was such a pleasure to work with. She made everything simplified and efficient and was always very prompt and informative everytime I had a question or request, which was very important to me. She was also super sweet and friendly! The Ballroom is so beautiful and really makes a lasting impression so very little decoration is needed to make the reception feel like a special occasion. The food was delicious and the tasting that is included for two people was more like a buffet than a tasting. They take care of all the details which is a huge help to brides that didn't hire a professional wedding planner. The only reason I gave 4 and half stars for value is because the final price does add up quickly for certain things. Chivari chairs for the ceremony are extra, boxed lunches for vendors were $18 per box, children's plates were $10, $200 cake cutting fee and so on. I do realize that most wedding venues have these fees and must make money as well but those were just a few things that I thought were pretty overpriced. However the personalized service, professionalism and efficiency of the venue and staff were worth it! I would recommend City Club to anyone that wants get married in downtown Fort Worth.

Angie and her team are AWESOME! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined at the City Club Ft. Worth. Angie is very helpful and will do whatever it takes to make your vision happen on your special day. Estella is the BEST Day of Coordinator out there; she handled everything with ease, and kept the event smooth all day. The food is absolutely Amazing!! Our guests are still raving at how wonderful everything was, and we've heard countless times that our wedding has been the classiest affair they've attended in years. My husband and I are very satisfied with how everything turned out. We just wish that we could do it all over again. If you're looking to have your wedding and/or reception in Ft. Worth, it doesn't get better than City Club!

The City Club took care of EVERYTHING for me! They handle all the catering at the venue, and the food was fantastic! Heather was our planner there, and she made me feel at ease and made sure everything was taken care of just as we had discussed. It was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't hesitate to celebrate another event there again. They are well organized and very professional. The prices have gone up since I used them, but knowing how first class everything is handled there, I wouldn't mind paying the increased rates!

We had an appointment to tour the venue; however, We were advised that her meeting went long and she would have her assistant show us around. The room she gave me rates for was so small it wouldn’t fit the number of guests and a dance floor. We were told that the dance floor could be in another room.

Wow what a BIG mistake to have my sisters wedding here! First off the food was just plain out terrible, the salad was nothing to wow about. EVERYONE's filet mignon was over cooked and tasted like roast beef, same with the chicken. I guess they let them sit to long in the hot boxes or something, everyone had to saw through it like it was a shoe. The mashed potatoes had formed a crust on them from sitting in the hot box so long. The grilled veggies were good though. The food was nothing like what we tasted for the food testing. They ran out of horderves before the back tables could even get any. They would walk up to the end tables with only 1 horderve left on it making people feel uncomfortable to grab it. They also ran out of Champagne before everyone could get a glass LOL!!! Also if you decide to go for an open bar make sure you don't set your drink down for more than a couple of mins. As soon as I would set my whiskey and coke on my table or where ever I was, a server would pick that drink up and throw it away. This is how they make their money on open bars this way, people finally had to stop and complain to the servers about this. My sister even called the next day to complain about it and the General Manager simply hung up on her. What does she care? She already has our money right? PLEASE don't hold no event here, this could happen to you.
