Excellent DJ, very flexible and fun to work with.

My daughter just got married two weeks ago. We were thrilled with Chuck Caudill as our DJ. He had lots of options, was very flexible to our needs and was easy to communicate with. We loved that he took over the timeline and kept things running smoothly and matched the mood of our event perfectly. Would definitely recommend him for future weddings.

The BEST DJ/ musician!

We would hire Chuck again in a heartbeat! Chuck keeps the party going and the dance floor full from start to finish. He not only offers a great selection of music and DJ entertainment, but also plays live music. He performed our first dance (one of our favorite Eddie Vedder songs) on his ukulele, helping to make our moment extra special. Chuck is flexible, easy to work with, and organized. As a stressed out bride, he kept us on schedule while having fun, which helped me relax and enjoy the evening. He is the best!

Highly recommend Chuck Caudill for any occasion!

Chuck was very eager to help make our day as memorable and special as possible. He coordinated special music with my personal friend that I wanted to play a song and Chuck helped him with equipment and was more than accommodating. Chuck kept the party going all night with music that was appealing to us and our guests. We couldn't have been happier!

Best DJ ever!!

Chuck did a great job at our wedding and really kept the party going. His equipment and music was perfect for our beach ceremony as well. Everything was plenty loud and clear to hear over the waves, etc. He kept our reception flowing and did an awesome job, we can’t say enough!

Awesome DJ!

We were so pleased with Chucks DJing for our wedding. From the ceremony to the reception he did a great job. He kept the whole day on schedule. We only gave him a few genres we liked and he really just played the perfect songs to keep everyone on the dance floor having a great time. Was very fun and easy to work with and highly recommend him to anyone in need of great DJ!

We had a great experience with Chuck. He was there when we needed him and he kept the flow of the ceramony and reception going. He has a great set up for any type of venue. Our wedding and ceramony were outside and we could hear everything perfectly. Great selection of music, he had everything we asked for and had great suggestions when were not exactly sure what we wanted. We could not have asked for a better experience or DJ!

Believe it or not, hiring a DJ from 800 miles away proved to be a bit of a challenge, but did we ever pick a great one! Chuck delivered superior services up to and during our ceremony. We did all of our communication by email, which leading up to the day event made me a tad nervous, but I remembered all the awards on Chuck's wedding wire page and it made me feel better. Chuck played all the music we had asked for and then some. He also was very good at doing all the announcements. The most memorable moment I have from Chuck's services at our wedding was when dinner was about to start. My wife and I were down by the water with our photographers taking pictures and we see Chuck running up to us. Luckily, everything was ok, and he just wanted to let us know that dinner was ready to be served whenever we headed back up to the pavilion. He kept the night going with good music up until the end when he played our final song. I would definitely recommend him to a friend having a wedding in the Sarasota area!

Chuck was the perfect DJ for our beach wedding! He provided beautiful live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then created a super fun atmosphere for dancing at the reception. He did a great job getting the guests involved and having a good time during the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and by taking lots of song requests! After the wedding, we received a lot of compliments from our guests on our choice of Chuck for DJ! I couldn't be happier with the service he provided!

Chuck blew us away with his music and his DJ’ing. We made him a list and he really stuck to it. He played life ukulele for the wedding ceremony. Then he moved right into music for the cocktail hour, the dinner and dancing. He stuck to the do not play and must play list flawlessly. I would highly recommend Chuck for live music and also as a DJ.

Dara was an amazing photographer. See was professional, courteous, knew exactly what we wanted and made sure we stayed on schedule. She coordinated very well with the venue and the DJ. We can’t wait to see our finished product, but the few shots she showed us on her camera were amazing. She is fantastic to work with, came in at a competitive price and knows so much about the island that she made you feel right at home

Chuck was absolutely amazing. We spoke on the phone but never met in person prior to our wedding and reception at the Sandbar, and we were so impressed when we finally met! He kept our party going, played all of our requests, provided ceremony music, organized the night with announcements, and checked in to make sure everything was okay. You need Chuck as your DJ!

We were lucky enough to get Chuck to cover our wedding on 1/24/15. One of the things that drew my attention to Chuck is that not only can he DJ but he also plays live music. This was extremely important to me because I wanted to be able to play guitar and sing to my new bride. Once I explained that to Chuck, he went way above and beyond to make that dream possible for us.

Chuck is such a great person, he is very down to earth and has a kind soul. This was a perfect fit for us because we didn't want someone that was going to overpower the day. Chuck was very accommodating and was able to play every song that we requested and even some very rare and hard to find music as well. He did such a great job keeping everything flowing and everyone on the dance floor.

Thanks again Chuck for doing such an amazing job!

Chuck did an amazing job at our ceremony and reception. The music was perfect and he kept our guests dancing and having a great time. The night after our wedding we walked down to the pier to see a familiar face playing and we got a shout out and a song played especially for us. Chuck was amazing! Communicating and working with him was such a breeze. He helped alleviate any stress and really provided awesome customer service! We were married on the beach and were considering finding a steel drum player. We first met Chuck at the Anna Maria Wedding Festival. That's when we find out he plays the Ukelele. We asked him to play a song and I immediately teared up. We could not have been provided with any better service from Chuck! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommended!

We were SO HAPPY with Chuck!!! We can't say enough good things about him! He played the eukelele as I walked down the aisle and it just set the whole mood..it sounded so sweet and tropical, which I just loved!!! He played all the songs we asked for and had a great play list beyond that. He kept everything running smoothly and on time. He also sang which was just so fun to hear in the background. Him playing the eukelele as we walked down the aisle and back down the aisle after we said I do just really stands out to me..He made it so so special. We can't thank you enough Chuck!!!! We LOVED Chuck! Such a professional and sweet person, so incredibly easy to work with and it was so easy for us to put our faith in him as his number one priority was to make the bride and groom happy! Our biggest request was to keep everyone on the dance floor- Chuck did this and more! Our reception was an absolute BLAST and that was all due to great family and friends and GREAT music played by chuck! Not to mention he did a fabulous job with the ceremony music as well- then ran to reception in time to get things going there! He's simply amazing. We would use him again and we recommend him to anyone for their wedding. It's difficult choosing vendors when you don't live in that particular area- but take it from us, Chuck as your DJ is a GREAT choice!!!

Chuck is a great entertainer and DJ. He played acoustic guitar for my ceremony canon in D, which brought tears.... So beautiful.
We provided a very specific and detailed list of songs that we wanted to play at our reception, he brought our vision to life!
Our ceremony was wonderful and our reception was so much fun. He had people out on the dance floor all night long.
You can't go wrong with Chuck. He has a microphone and speakers for the ceremony so everyone could hear our vows on the beach. He had the lights, he had the equipment, he had all the music. Thank you Chuck for an amazing evening!

We chose Chuck and Dara as our DJ and photographer for our wedding in March of 2013.

Dara was an amazing photographer. Her demeanor is great for coping with a crazy wedding party and a demanding family when it comes to the personal photos that make a wedding album. We haven't received the pictures yet, but she did show us a preview of some them and one was published in Anna Maria Island Sun and it was a great shot.

Chuck did an amazing job of handling our guests requests. Our guests requested A LOT of Spanish music that is out of his field of expertise, but he handled everyones request with a great attitude. As a former party DJ, it is extremely difficult, to not only fill everyones request, but to have the demeanor to welcome them back for another request.

Chuck also performed live music before our ceremony which provided a really unique experience that my wife LOVED. It really helped to make our wedding day feel special. At a very affordable price, Chuck and Dara went above and beyond any of my expectations.

Chuck was the perfect DJ/performer for us! He was quick to respond to my many e-mails and his song suggestion list was super helpful! His ukulele was perfect for our beach wedding ceremony music. At the reception, he played every song I requested beforehand and kept the music to suit our interests. From the light dinner music to the bumping reception, the song selections were perfect! He kept people on the dance floor all night and we had a blast! He honored every request we had and is willing to be as involved as you want him in keeping the reception events moving. Trust me, you won't want anyone else for your wedding and reception! Chuck is fantastic!

Chuck did an fantastic, perfect job! He and his wife Dara, our photographer, worked together perfectly and it actually made the wedding run smoother! The mood he helped set was what we envisioned. I didn't realize how great he sounded live till I heard at our wedding! We loved it and all our guests are still raving about Chuck's music and that it was the best wedding! I'm so sad it's over! Stephen's dad caught everything on video so we can hear everything we missed. The mic set up was also appreciated at the ceremony so everyone could hear! We're so happy to have met Chuck and don't think anyone could have done a better job. And not to forget the light show; it was spectacular! I'll say it really was the coolest wedding ever, even if it was mine! Choose Chuck!

Chuck did a great job at our wedding. We had him provide the equipment and play the music for the wedding ceremony. He then sang and played acoustic for the cocktail hour and ended the night by being our awesome DJ! He is a man of many talents! AND his wife was our photographer! What a great team!

Chuck was awesome to work with. He had every song we requested and if it wasn't in his music library he found it. He also did a beautiful job on the live ukulele music for our ceremony. He was a lot of fun too!

Chuck was absolutely amazing to work with! I planned my wedding in Florida from Chicago, and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Anytime I contacted Chuck he was quick to respond, and made every effort to accomodate myself and my wedding party. The day of the wedding was perfect. He really knew what music to play to get the party going, and I was very impressed with the choice of songs! He was also a blast to work with. All of my guests had a blast, and everyone was impressed. If you are having your wedding in Anna Maria, I absolutely reccomend Chuck as your DJ, and his wife Dara Caudill as your photographer. They were both fabulous and you won't be disappointed!!

Chuck did a phenomenal job at our wedding and reception!

In addition to providing DJ services, we asked him to provide sound system support for live performer (guitar + vocals). He coordinated with the performer ahead of time and everything went smoothly and sounded great on the big day.

Beyond that, Chuck did an amazing job of respecting our schedule, playing the music we requested, playing great music to fill in the gaps, and of course hosting the ceremony (making announcements, running the activities, etc.). We could definitely tell by the way things just magically came together that Chuck Caudill, the event planner, live performer, photographer, and videographer all communicated closely...and things went perfectly as a result.

Although we did not ask him to perform at our wedding as a live musician, we have watched him play at the local restaurants several times. He's an outstanding musician, and I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for live music entertainment (Wedding or otherwise).

We could not be more pleased with how well our ceremony and reception turned out, and Chuck deserves a great deal of the credit. I highly recommend him!

Chuck was great, super friendly, and played most of the songs on the list we had on our list. He was also great at wrangling the crowd to do what we'd planned in terms of dances, toasts, cake cutting, etc., which was a real bonus of going for the DJ instead of ipod hookup we'd considered.

You can't ask for a better DJ! My parents were at the Beachhouse Restaurant on AMI. There was a wedding taken place that day and Chuck happenend to be the DJ. My husband and I are in Pennsylvania and asked my parents to do some of our wedding leg work. They thought Chuck did a magnificent job and talked to him about our upcoming wedding. We were in touch with Chuck through email. It was so easy to work with him. We went through and picked out the songs we wanted for the ceremony. We just picked out genre's of music for the reception. Chuck was amazing. Hiring him and his wife Dara as the photographer made a world of difference in how our wedding flowed. We never had to worry about the timing of anything and he made sure to drag out enough of the crazy music that my husband likes to keep even him happy. I am not a music person so we picked just the required pieces - processional, first dance, etc - and we left the rest up to him. He did a great job. I would highly recommend him for your event and hiring his wife would be another very smart decision.

Chuck Caudill did a wonderful job of DJing our vow renewal. We had a diverse group of guests whose ages ranged from 1 to 90. Chuck had my 1 year old neice, my 90 year old grandmother, and just about everyone in between dancing! He played a great selection of hip hop, pop, and country for us and even tossed in a few oldies but goodies and the electric slide. We loved working with Chuck. He was so great and even had the little ones high fiving him. I would select him again in a heartbeat.

Chuck Caudill was so easy to work with. The very first day we talked on the phone he sent me all of the information I needed to help me through the music process from start to finish. Providing me with music lists to choose from and an easy form to fill out the layout of the ceremony and reception. He even took the time out of his day to play his guitar for me over the phone so I could hear a couple of songs. I was in constant contact with him, asking him questions about what would sound good and what would be perfect for a beach ceremony. I really enjoyed working with Chuck and his Wife Dara. They are very special people and really do amazing work. He is such an amazing singer/songwriter/guitar player. His equipment is new and in great condition and makes the whole process a breeze from start to finish. Chuck was great. He is flexible to play whatever you like or ask him. And when you don't know, just leave it up to him. Has a lot of experience and knows how the process works at the Sandbar. He checks on the progress of your pictures and accommodates the events accordingly. He made my stress go away with some things not going exactly right during the ceremony earlier in the day.
He is also super nice and always smiles. He is really good playing live music too.
I highly recommend Chuck Caudill.

We had our reception at the BeachHouse and wanted to find a DJ that was comfortable & good at playing in that atmosphere. We had gone to watch Chuck DJ and also sing beach/island songs, (at the BeachHouse & SandBar). We were really impressed! We chose him to DJ and Dara (his wife) to be our photographer. They made an amazing team! We had given him a list of songs and also had him coordinate a slide show with music we provided. Working with Chuck was a wonderful experience! He did our ceremony music as well as our reception music. Even though it was windy during the ceremony all of the music was heard and he had the exact versions of the music we wanted. Chuck was so great to work with, he helped us with selections and he just made the whole process so easy. He did the music for our ceremony, then we had him play live during cocktail hour and then dj the rest of the night. It really made that "island feel" complete. The music is one of the most important parts of a wedding reception and he kept our guests on the dance floor and they all had a great time! My husband and I got married on October 4th 2008. Chuck was our DJ and he was great! I gave him a list of songs my then fiance and I wanted to hear during the wedding and reception and asked him to fill in the remaining music with songs he felt would get the crowd dancing. He did just that and everyone had a great time! I also provided him with a list of song we did not want played at the wedding and he made sure, if there were any requests from the "do not play" list, that the guests got my approval before the songs were played. Overall my husband and I feel he did a fabulous job and we would recommend him to anyone else who was looking for a DJ.

I remember once going to the Beach House restaurant a few years ago, and asked the hostess who was playing. Her response "That's our Chuck!" That about sums it up. I have seen him play for over 8 years on my visits to Florida and always enjoy it. When it was time to find a local musician to play at our wedding ceremony, the choice was obvious. He is extremely versatile, and did not disappoint whatsoever. It is as if he knew exactly what was in our minds when he played for us. He delivered more than what we asked for or expected.
As a musician myself, this is a very important contribution to an event in my opinion. Hearing a song you heard at an event is like a scent. It can trigger memories of something in the past, and make you feel like you are back there again, living the goodness of that moment. Thanks to Chuck, this is something that can happen, and for that, we are grateful.
When Chuck teams up with his wife Dara, of Island Photography at your wedding, the coordination is wonderful. They are never in your way, and it is truly a successful package to have. We consider Chuck and his wife Dara friends based on all of the assistance and communication they provided long before and well after our wedding. Making what can be a stressful time planning and carrying out a wedding day as calming as they have for us is truly a wish anyone would experience thanks to their participation.

Chuck was hands down one of the best decisions we made in getting entertainment for our wedding.

Chuck is an awesome DJ! He played both our ceremony music and reception. Every song we requested he played exactly when we needed them to be played, and otherwise, he felt out the mood and played what matched it accordingly. He is very versatile and will play anything and everything you would like. Chuck made everyone happy by playing a great mix of genres while still sticking to what we had agreed upon. He's laid back, creating a comfortable atmosphere for you and your guests, while at the same time he is very in-tune to what he's doing and he listens to any input you have to give. Chuck was recommended to us by his wife, Dara, who we were hiring as our photographer. When we met with Chuck a few months before the wedding, we went to see him perform live at the Beachhouse in Anna Maria. We were definitely music "soul mates." He knew instinctively what type of feel we were going for at our wedding, and was able to get every song we requested, which meant so much to us! He performed live during our ceremony on acoustic guitar, and DJ'd during the reception. I think he can get away with charging more than he does; we didn't shop around because we felt so "in tune" with him, but considering how special he made our event, it was a steal! He made great recommendations, and even made the final call on our first dance (we couldn't decide.) Chuck and Dara are truly a great team.

I give this entertainment a 5 out of 5 stars. Chuck was easy to get in touch with, answered all of my questions with ease. He is a certified (licensed) I'm not sure which d.j. He has performed at hundreds of weddings. He makes local appearances on the island. He also plays acoustic guitar if that is your desire. He made the night run so smoothly, listened to all of our song suggestions and was able to add to it the perfect mix of fun, music and dancing. I couldn't have picked anyone better. For twice the perfection we were able to hire his wife Dara as our photographer. The two work wonderfully together to make your day and night stress and worry free.

Chuck was amazing! We decided to go with a live musician for our outdoor ceremony. We thought it would really set the mood and it did! There wasn't a dry eye on the beach when he played ukulele and sang during the processional/recessional. It was perfect, he's easy to work with and affordable!

Chuck really is a GREAT DJ to have for your wedding/event. He found every song (even old style classical) that we wanted for both the ceremony and reception. He kept the dance floor booming which was important to us at the reception. The only thing that was disappointing what the Pastor was supposed to be mic'd up for the ceremony and he was not. Luckily, he has a loud voice and was able to be heard. Everything else was absolutely wonderful!

Chuck did an amazing job at our wedding on Anna Maria Island. He played the ukulele for the ceremony and played live music on his guitar for most of dinner. We got lots of compliments on him. Chuck played LOTS of good songs, and even stayed past his quitting time because the guests were chanting for more. The one thing I noticed, which I happened to like, is that he only played one or two slow songs the entire night. If you like slow dancing, you might just want to mention this before your wedding. We were very pleased with him and if we had to do it all over again, we would definitely hire him again!

Highly recommended!! We just got back from our perfect beach wedding on Anna Maria! Chuck delivered everything I had ever pictured for our wedding. He played his guitar beautifully for our ceremony,provided a mic that we used for the ceremony, and DJ'd for the reception. The music was awesome and there was never a second where the dance floor was empty. He played all of my must play list. We had his wife Dara as our photographer and they made everything go so smoothly! Chuck even brought us out water during the family and bridal party pics! Very easy to work with. All of our guests have given so much positive feedback regarding Chuck and Dara. Thanks!

Chuck was wonderful. He played all our favorite songs and merged them so there was no pauses, so everyone kept dancing. It was wonderfully MCed and he knew exactly what he was doing. He really made me and my husbands special day, special and unique. I recomend Chuck to anyone who wants the perfect sondtrack for their perfect day. I will remember his music for years and years to come. Thank you Chuck for making our day perfect.

Chuck was an amazing DJ. He played live music for our cocktail hour which people loved and then switched to DJ for the dancing. I gave him quite a list of must plays (husband and I have a love for music) and I think I heard them all! Very easy to work with and great attitude. We must have miscommunicated at some point, because he didn't realize I wanted live music at the beginning. But he offered to "run home" and grab his guitar! He lives on the island, 5 min from the Sandbar, so it was perfect! His laid back but professional attitude was what we were looking for.

Chuck is the most charming musician... He played the ukulele at our Beach Wedding, creating a Hawaiian style tropical mood. I'm so glad we selected him... He made our special day very memorable! :)

Chuch was wonderful! He was easy to work with and sense he works at our venue all the time, it took away some of my stress. He was very familiar with the setup and I knew everything would go smoothly. He played guitar for our ceremony as well as set up speakers so that we could be heard. Everything went perfectly. He is a true professional and I highly recommend using him!

Chuck was very flexible and professional and managed to download all of our songs from England to be played at the wedding.

I would recommend Chuck to anyone thinking of having a DJ at their wedding reception.

Plays a variety of live instruments as well as track DJ services. Has a variety of genres of music in his library. As an event professional myself, he did his job. I gave him the pertinent music my family wanted to hear and he filled in the rest where needed that complimented my music choices. Most important of all, he stayed out of the way and did not complicate things. He stuck to our plans for the day of and adjusted if necessary keeping in constant communication with the venue planner and other vendors hired to cover the wedding.

We chose Chuck as our musician to play live during our cocktail hour and DJ the rest of our reception. He is so nice and he made it a very easy decision to pick him as our musician upon meeting him. He was always prompt on responding to my e-mails, but towards the end when we were getting closer to the wedding, multilpe times in e-mails he said we will talk soon and we never did. It wasn't a huge deal, but there were some things I would have liked to gone over, like what part of the songs we wanted played during the ceremony. I walked out to Cannon n D, and really wanted to walk to the main part of the chorus (wait brides typically walk to) and he just played the song from the beginning, so I was very disappointed in that. We had the song "I made it" for our recessional, and again he just played it from the beginning and never asked us, which is not what we wanted either. However, he did a great job playing live from my understanding (we were out taking pictures) and DJ'd the rest of the evening and all the announcements, cake cutting song, bouquet toss, and garter removal went great. He is a talented musician and I would recommend him to future brides, just make sure you make a point to let him know of you have certain parts of a song you want played!

I got to the venue 5 minutes early. We had to wait while he set up and got things ready for the ceremony--I would have thought that this would have been done at that point. The ceremony was fine - got the songs we wanted for the processional, the mikes & speakers for the vows. The recessional was wrong - I had sent the file/link and the intro wasn't right. Ah, well, minor snafu.
Prior to the event, I had emailed his form back with specific requests, timing, etc. I specifically asked for no songs from an artist -- we got songs from the artist. I asked for certain songs for us to dance to. They were played while we were eating dinner and we couldn't dance to it. He accepted requests, which was good.The requests were from kids, not so good. We got a bunch of top 40 teeny bopper songs when we'd wanted other genres.
The whole thing just seemed disorganized, even though I had tried really hard to give examples and specific requests, asked for feedback and offered to send the songs we had requested. I was really disappointed - the only thing I wanted to splurge on and make sure was right was the music. And it wasn't. Nice guy, though.

Chuck arrived promptly to my wedding reception. We did not have a lot of communication before the event (by my own fault) and my song requests were played during dinner so I don't think anyone really heard them. The dancing got off to a slow start, but he took our request and the party started! He even stayed later so we could continue to have a great time!! It was an amazing night!

We had our wedding at The Sandbar on 11-11-16. Chuck was highly recommended to us by many of our vendors (we live out of state and planning a wedding from a far had it's challenges). He was easy to work with, very organized with his spread sheet with requested songs by bride and groom was well thought out. Upon first meeting on our wedding day, I noticed Chuck was a bit frazzled...his lap top with our wedding play list was ran over earlier in the day, he assured us he still had our songs in other formats and not to worry. Wrong version of our first dance was played, wrong song was played for cake cutting and Chuck referred to my husband with musical choices that night instead of asking me (he never once communicated with my husband through out the entire planning process). I thought things were off when Adele was playing when we had our sparkler sendoff. Many guests came up to me asking why they have not heard their requested songs (it was all on the spread sheet we sent out prior to the wedding). All in all, we still had a wonderful party and our dance floor was packed with guests having a good time. I do think Chuck is a great DJ and he was just having an off day, My advice to any bride is to appoint a person beside yourself and your spouse to be the go to person in case your DJ should have any questions. Our day was still great despite the minor music hiccup.
