Cherry Brandy Designs was an absolute dream for our wedding. Owner JoAnn was responsive and knowledgeable and designer Megan created our perfect arrangements. At our floral trial, the team worked with us to make sure every detail was to our liking, and JoAnn made sure the price was a comfortable fit. The centerpieces and bouquets were more gorgeous then we even imagined and we can’t stop staring at the photos we took. Don’t think twice and book with CBD! -

I cannot express how grateful I am to have discovered Cherry Brandy designs for my wedding. My husband and I did not want to spend a lot of money on arrangements and we made that very clear with all our florists that we looked into. The ONLY person who actually listened to our requests and stayed within our budget was JoAnn. She was amazing from the start by helping us utilize our arrangements for other things during our wedding. She had the idea of using the isle flowers for the centerpieces at cocktail hour and our arbor flowers for our sweetheart table. It was the attention to detail and the willingness to with with our budget that we appreciated and ultimately led us to booking with JoAnn. -

We utilized Cherry Brandy Designs for our wedding in August, 2025 and we could not recommend them more!! We hired them for both florals and day of coordination and are so grateful we did. Joann was a gift - going above and beyond for us! She has so much experience and we felt fully taken care of every step of the way. Our wedding day vision came together because of her and her team’s help and we could not be more appreciative! -

JoAnn was such a pleasure to work with! The flowers were beautiful and guests got to take them home which was so nice. She repurposes our ceremony flowers for the sweetheart table which was so easy and overall was much more affordable than most quotes we got. She worked with us to get our vision and was super receptive to feedback. She also was very professional and I barely noticed that she was there setting up! Would definitely recommend! -

JoAnn and her team were able to work absolute magic! They made our vision come to life perfectly and fit everything into a fairly limited budget (at least for the Hudson Valley). They were also so collaborative and took all feedback to heart, tweaking the proposal and mockup centerpiece until everything was absolutely perfect. I was over the moon to see our florals on the day and cannot believe how magical the final result was! JoAnn is also so sweet and flexible - she set me completely at ease from our first email. Cannot recommend them enough! -

Exceptional job capturing our ideas!!
Absolutely thrilled with the beautiful floral arrangements ! From the moment we first met, they truly listened to our vision and understood the tone we wanted to set for our wedding day. I had a clear idea of what I was looking for, but they elevated it in ways I never imagined.
The flowers were absolutely stunning, with every arrangement perfectly capturing the romantic and whimsical feel we were going for. From the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, everything was thoughtfully designed and brought our vision to life in the most breathtaking way. The colors, textures, and variety of flowers used were exactly what we had discussed—yet everything felt so fresh and unique.
Not only did they take the time to ensure everything was exactly what we wanted, but they also made sure to offer their professional advice when necessary, providing suggestions that only improved the final result. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of their work.
Our guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the floral designs were, and they were such an integral part of creating the atmosphere we envisioned. Cherry Brandy Designs
TLDR: Beautiful, fresh flowers take a well-organized team! The Cherry Brandy team was just that, and they executed perfectly.
The Deets:
It was so easy to work with this team! I loved our consultation, that's where everything came together. It was collaborative and generative, giving my husband and I the chance to be a part of the process while learning about what would be in season to execute our vision.
We wanted simple but lush florals and greens for our wedding. The venue itself was so beautiful that we really just wanted to complement it and bring in some forest-y magic. The CBD team listened to this vision and worked with me to realize it seasonally and in-budget.
On our wedding day I can only assume everything went perfectly because it all looked beautiful to me! Everything was done with great attention and felt so organized (especially upon packup the next day!). I had brought a ton of vintage bottles to use for our centerpieces groupings. CBD treated them with care and were able to utilize so many of what I had brought, with a number of the extras being placed around the venue to help accent the space.
It was an extra treat to see the team briefly as they were finishing up. Such beautiful smiles to come upon after the ceremony and one-on-one time on our way to reception! Thank you Cherry Brandy Designs!

BOOK IMMEDIATELY - you won't regret it!
JoAnn and her team were phenomenal to work with. On the day of the girls arrived promptly and set up everything quickly, as well as repurposed the arch to decorate our sweetheart, cake, and card/gift table. Everything looked really beautiful. As for JoAnn herself, I don't know where to begin. Brides - as you know florals are VERY expensive, and JoAnn provided us our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonniere, aisle and arch decor for a very reasonable price. As mentioned, she told me on our first call she would repurpose the ceremony arch garland and flowers to use on our sweetheart table instead of trying to charge me for an additional piece. Last minute, I realized I did not have an arch for the garland and she rented me one for a reasonable price as well. She also changed the date for us to go up to look at the centerpieces and finalize our order because it was the weekend of my bridal shower. She was so accommodating, but also very kind throughout this whole process, providing me with reassurance when I got stressed and listened to all of my concerns when I was overwhelmed. In the end, she followed through on everything she promised, and did so with a genuine warmth and love in her heart for the work she does. JoAnn, thank you so much for everything - so grateful for you! -

JoAnn and her designers were such a pleasure to work with! They were able to take my ideas and create the most beautiful arrangements. As someone who loves plants and flowers, I felt that what they created was beyond my expectations. Being able to meet with them in their studio and see the centerpieces beforehand was also extremely helpful! When my husband and I went, their warm and down-to-earth nature made it a pleasant and fun experience. In addition, the high quality of the flowers they used clearly showed as my bouquet still looked pristine the day after the wedding. We so appreciate how you all were able to make our big day ever more special. We would highly recommend Cherry Brandy Designs to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding! -

JoAnn at Cherry Brandy Designs was so wonderful to work with! From our initial phone consultation to the wedding day, she totally understood what we were looking for and had amazing suggestions for making the most of our flowers while staying in our budget. Her designs were gorgeous and complimented our venue perfectly. Her warm and friendly manner made the planning process fun! Since she was familiar with our venue and many of our other vendors, she was able to communicate directly with them for a lot of the logistics which was enormously appreciated. Beautiful and helpful
Joann was amazing!! She took my vision of what I wanted for my flowers and nailed it. I was on budget as most brides are and she worked with my budget! She told ways to cut cost and advised me on where to not cut cost. I knew her advise was coming from a good place and not just trying to charge as much as possible. My flowers were amazing. I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you so much!!! -

Cannot say enough about how great it was to work with Cherry Brandy!
JoAnn is the best! From our first phone call, she was so warm and honest which made the experience a great one. She helped me maximize what we could get in our budget and never pushed for things were unnecessary and would set us over. She knew our venue, West Hills Country Club, well so her guidance on where to spend our money was greatly appreciated. For our flower trial, JoAnn and Heidi got my vision spot on and were great at explaining which flowers would be in season and in helping to choose backups if needed. The day of, I didn't get to see JoAnn and her team much, but they did an amazing and beautiful job! Our wedding was in November, and I wanted fall colors without being too Thnaksgiving-like. I was thrilled with how perfect everything turned out. I would recommend Cherry Brandy any day of the week. JoAnn was truly a pleasure to work with! -

JoAnn was simply amazing to work with! I couldn't be happier with the flowers she put together for our wedding. I immediately knew I wanted JoAnn to be a part of our big day after our first phone call. After talking with her and sending her over a few pictures I had in mind, she emailed me a detailed proposal, outlining my vision and turning it into reality. She promptly responded to all my emails- even if it was just to tell me she was on vacation, which I really appreciated. She was always ready to answer all my questions, stay within my budget, and let me know the pros and cons to any flower that I asked about. The bouquets she crafted were simply beautiful. My girls and I received so many compliments on them. JoAnn truly knows what she is doing and is a pleasure to work with! -

JoAnn was my saving grace during my wedding last weekend. When I learned my father had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and if I wanted him to be there to walk me down the aisle, I would need to plan a wedding in 2 months. The first day I met JoAnn, I told her my story and she let me sob my eyes out in her office. I believe everything happens for a reason and God sent me to JoAnn that day because he knew I needed her, even when I did not. She promised me my wedding would be amazing and she would make sure of it! Planning a wedding in 2 months is an impossible task, but with JoAnn's help and guidance, it all came together. Even when our officiant backed out a week before the wedding, she set us up to make sure that was also taken care. The day came and my flowers couldn't have been more beautiful. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and table settings were a beautiful blue,even in the middle winter. JoAnn was my florist, but I am proud to now consider her a close friend who I will forever be indebted to for helping a girl get walked down the aisle by her dad💕 -

I simply can not say enough about Cherry Brand Designs, JoAnn and her entire staff. When we hired JoAnn, I knew I was getting a great florist. What I did know was that I was also gaining a trusted friend. JoAnn helped me figure out what flowers fit my style, my budget and my wedding. Aside from being just my florist, she gave me valuable advice on wedding planning as a whole - recommended vendors, gave me tips so other vendors didn't take advantage of me, and even talked me through not being a bridezilla a few times when I definitely needed it. JoAnn, Heidi, Crystal and team - I am forever grateful for your flowers, your support and your continued friendship. I will be using you for flowers in every aspect of my life and recommending you to EVERYONE I know. If I could do it all over again, the only thing I would change would be to book JoAnn sooner.

Michele Sent on 09/28/2017Let me begin by saying that the start of our wedding day was chaos. Several of the people in the bridal party were not where they were suppose to be when they were suppose to be there. We was unable to meet the girls who dropped off the flowers but my matron of honor did. She said they were nice and happy. The bouquets were delivered with vases and water to the Inn and the table settings were delivered to our venue on time and in perfect condition. The flowers were beautiful. The way JoAnn arranged them was exactly what I wanted. We had yellow sunflowers, red daisies, orange ranunculus and white freesias and some greenery. The colors were so balanced, the flower sizes compliments each other with the sunflowers being just large enough to take center stage but so not large that they overwhelmed the arrangements and the bouquets themselves were the perfect size. JoAnn is super nice and awesome to work with. We spoke to her on the phone and through email and she was always quick to answer questions and was very flexible. When I changed my mind about one flower choice and was unsure what to replace it with she suggested the freesias and they were perfect. We've received so many compliments on the flowers and even now when showing people photos they tell me they love the flowers. We highly recommend JoAnn and her team for any of your floral needs. They do professional work, they care about the customer and their products show this dedication. If we ever need a florist in the future we will definitely call JoAnn! -

When she showed up at my hotel room while I was getting ready to give me my bouquet I nearly cried,she didn't just meet my expectations she exceeded them. Olesya Sent on 10/13/2018From the first phone call we had with JoAnn, we knew she was the perfect florist for our August wedding at Onteora Mountain House. I didn’t know much about flower names, but I knew my style vision. JoAnn listened, offered advice, and shared in my excitement. Her attitude wasn’t fake like some other vendors I had encountered, and she didn’t try to upsell me to run up my bill. We ordered my bridal bouquet, 9 bridesmaid bouquets, 13 boutonnieres, 1 corsage, 3 ceremony arrangements with vases and columns, scattered rose petals, submerged arrangements with floating candles for various stations, 15 centerpieces, and a garland for the sweetheart table. On the wedding day, I was ecstatic to find that my vision had turned to reality, because Cherry Brandy listened, understood, and followed through. Everything was beautiful! We recommend them to all couples in the area.

Elissa Sent on 08/19/2014Cherry Brandy Designs was definitely great for helping my fiancé and I stay within our budget. They created beautiful centerpieces for cocktail hour and helped my vision come to light with the table centerpieces; I just provided them the materials. JoAnn was very communicative in the beginning and reached out to me to make sure that everything was squared away.
However, I requested specific hydrangea for my bouquet and bridal bouquets and that is not what I received. The church pew flowers were not what I expected either; smaller and not wrapped with silk ribbon like we had discussed. I was so wrapped up in my day I didn't notice until I saw pictures!
My tossing bouquet never appeared and my mom was supposed to receive another wrist corsage, which also did not happen. My bouquet also started to fall apart during pictures.
All that I can say was I was disappointed in this vendor.
