    We just used chef exclusive for our June 25, 2011 wedding and they were just awesome. We had an outdoor wedding under a tent with a dance floor and equipment rented from event central, and we had 200 people.
    We first met the event manager Julie about a year ago at an initial meeting and from the start they were incredibly helpful and flexible. We wanted a certain caliber meal within a certain price limitation for a very larger crowd, and they offered suggestions to get everything that we wanted within our budget. They even allowed us to custom design a particular appetizer that we wanted.
    Before the wedding Chef White came to our home and prepared a sample meal for my groom, my family and me and we got to see how the entire meal was going to be prepared. It was delicious, and was very excited for the food at the wedding. The prices at Chef Exclusive were very reasonable, and everything was so great that I was afraid it might be too good to be true, but it is actually as good, and better than you will anticipate.
    In the months before the wedding the event manager Julie was with us every step of the way, checking our event inventory and offering suggestions for the hors d'ouerves, and the bar (we also hired our two bartenders from Chef exclusive, who were great and so much fun!)
    I would definitely suggest the artichoke hors d'oureves. It was AMAZING, people kept wanting more, also the coconut shrimp was really really good.
    My wedding party arrived later than cocktail hour began, and chef exclusive had laid out a special tray with some of each of our hors d'ouerves, water, a tray of signature cocktails for the ladies, and other drinks on ice for the gentlemen.
    For dinner we had crabcakes, primerib, plus vegetarian and kid options. The dinner was just as good as chef prepared at our house, delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the crab cakes had a lot of crab, and not a lot of filler, which is just how we wanted them. The salad was also very good. The head table service was excellent and our server made sure everyone had champagne.
    We also used Chef Exclusive's table wine service. One point I have to make about chef exclusive and having an off site wedding is you can buy your own alcohol (which saves money), but we also got to hand select our wines (which was important to us). Chef Exclusive charges no corking fee, and no additional bottle service fee.
    Julie and two event managers helped organize everything, and they got the dinner out exactly on time, to 200 people. The servers were great as well. We needed to keep the bartenders overtime because the party was still going, and they happily accommodated us. Overall we were very impressed and extremely happy. I'm pretty sure my mom hugged Chef White at the end of the night she was so happy with how everything went!

    I can honestly say that our wedding day was truly wonderful from start to finish, and Chef Exclusive played a very big role in that. I left our final meeting before the wedding feeling confident that Julie and the rest of the staff had covered every possible detail and scenario. The excellent food and wonderful service made the reception extra special. I still have guests telling me how much they enjoyed Chef White's meals, and I have several requests for contact information because they were so impressed. One is for a wedding next year, and one is for a holiday party in December. We have nothing but good thiings to say about our experience!

    We could not be happier with the whole experience provided by Chef Exclusive. From the beginning, Julie went out of her way to help us with every aspect of the catering and rentals. And, on the day of the wedding, everything was better than we could have expected--the food was excellent and the service was even better! Everyone was professional and courteous to everyone there. I would be happy to have you do another event in a heartbeat!

    Chef Exclusive exceeded our expectations in all of the above areas. THe food was delicious. The staff were all very friendly, professional and easy to work with. We highly recommend their services.

    Chef Exclusive is a hidden treasure in wedding catering, but hopefully not for long! It was an unexpected surprise when I learned the company offered assistance with event coordination as well. Julie really helped me keep details straight and made juggling a wedding with a busy work schedule possible, even enjoyable. And when we had our cake vendor cancel less than a month before the wedding, Julie made a commitment to helping us find an alternative, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The food and presentation at the wedding was fantastic. Everyone RAVED about the food!! I also really appreciated that Chef White came out during dinner to make sure everything was OK, he is truly a professional. I’ve worked with many vendors over the years for my job and Chef Exclusive is one of the best by far. I highly recommend Julie and Chef White and will try to find ways to use them again.

    I am originally from Ecuador South America. My fiance and I went to my country for vacation back on 2008 and she loved a traditional dish from my town called Goat Stew. When we got married we wanted to have that dish but unfortunately nobody here in Pennsylvania had even heard of it. When we told Chef Daneyon what we wanted he also had not heard of the dish but he agreed to go to an Ecuadorian Restaurant in New Jersey where they served this dish. As soon as he tasted the dish he said he will be able to recreate the dish. Chef Daneyon was able to get a goat from a local farm near Carlisle PA and made the most amazing "Goat Stew" that even my mom said it was delicious and reminded her of home. Chef Daneyon was very helpful, flexible and above all his food was amazing at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for something unique for your wedding, my wife and I definitively recommend Chef Daneyon.

    We used Chef Exclusive for our August 13, 2011, wedding at the Ribbon Mill. Chef White and Julie were absolutely wonderful to work with and the food was delicious. We envisioned having a local, organic, eco-friendly wedding, but struggled to find a vendor that was willing to work with us to make this happen…until we stumbled across Chef Exclusive. Not only did Chef White help us bring our vision to reality, he suggested wonderful menu items and ensured everything served was from Central Pennsylvania.
    We planned our wedding from afar, yet Julie made the process incredibly easy. She was flexible and able to meet with us each of the few times we were in town, and regularly scheduled phone conversations to touch base. She also arranged all of our rental items, which was a huge help!
    Chef Exclusive helped make our wedding perfectly, uniquely “us” and we feel so fortunate to have worked with them. Numerous people commented to us how wonderful the food was, but two, in particular, were of note. Two guests who regularly attend fundraising functions for work purposes separately commented to us how it was the best catered chicken dinner they'd ever had. Given the number of catered meals they regularly eat, this comment was particularly impressive! Here’s our delicious menu:

    HORS D'OEUVRES: A display of local Amish cheeses and meats, paired with homemade bread.
    PRETZEL BREAD STICKS: These pretzels were handmade in this very building by Beiler’s Pretzel Company.
    ORGANIC MIXED GREENS SALAD: A playful mix of greens, cucumbers, crisp apples, and goat cheese – all from Pennsylvania. The greens are from Spiral Path Farm in Loysville, the apples are from Peter’s Orchard in Gardners, the cheese is from an Amish dairy in Newville, and the veggies were bought this morning at the Shippensburg Farm Auction.
    ORGANIC GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST: A free range, organic chicken breast topped with apple-onion chutney and served with garlic roasted red bliss potatoes and a ratatouille with seasonal vegetables. The chicken is from Eberly Poultry in Stevens, Pennsylvania, and all of the vegetables and apples came from Shippensburg and Peter’s Orchard.

    My usage of Chef Exclusive is a bit non-traditional. I work for CXY Aviation at the Capital City Airport. We have used Chef for 3 months as a vendor for our high-end clients that request catered meals/snacks for their flights. One of my customers has a very specific set of guidelines that need to be met. Each and every order has more than exceeded our expectations. I had a pilot, for another flight, see the order just after it was delivered and said that was the best catering he has ever seen, and was disappointed that they didn't have an order waiting on them. Just a recent as a week ago we had a request for 8 servings of Fillet Mignon, Shrimp Cocktail, and a cheese tray. The order was beautifully displayed and the crew was happy with the presentation.
    I have had a chance to sample Chef's food as well, my sister is planning her wedding and I went along for her tasting. Everything was awesome, and I can't wait for the reception to have even more!
    Julie is our point of contact and is on top of things as soon as we need something. Overall they have exceeded our expections.

    Daneyon catered our Christmas dinner for nine guests. The food was absolutely fabulous! Everyone raved about the dishes served.
    Daneyon sat down with us and planned a complete menu- including dessert. It was so wonderful to not have to worry about cooking and allowing me to spend more time with my guests. Everything arrived at perfect temperature.
    I am looking forward to having Daneyon cater another meal for us very soon.

    Amazing food and professional service. My niece selected pasta stations for her reception and crudites for her appetizer. The appetizer presentation was a work of art and the pasta/sauces were second to none. Chef Daneyon and his staff were delightful to work with. We would recommend Chef Exclusive to anyone without hesitation.

    Chef Exclusive was the perfect caterer for my wedding. They were flexible to what I wanted, very professional but also very personal. I really enjoyed working with Daneyon he was great with communicating with me and my other vendors. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

    We were very happy with Chef Exclusive Catering when using them for our wedding reception. The Chef agreed to BBQ outside come rain oir shine so that was very reassuring. All of the entrees were amazing and our guests were very pleased!The Event Manager of the evening catered to our every need and was polite and respectful, and made sure we were pleased as well. The staff was professional and courteous to everyone which was very nice to have. We highly suggest them for any catering event you may have in the future! Crystal and Ryan

    The business director, Julie, is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is responsive, organized and thorough, always pleasant to talk to, and quick to raise the spirits of even the most exhausted/frustrated bride. Chef White is also fun to work with and will take as well as give suggestions on food pairings and little extras. If it's not on their menu, it certainly doesn't mean you can't have it. Chef Exclusive is willing to price-match quotes from other caterers, and it's good that they are because we probably wouldn't have been able to afford them otherwise. Our rehearsal dinner didn't go all that well, but our reception exceeded all of our expectations. And in all fairness, the rehearsal dinner was the first even solo-hosted by a new assistant. These people genuinely do want to make your event everything you want it to be, though. You won't be sorry for choosing them.

    We had a few initial concerns regarding our wedding on May 21. Since that time, we have continued to be in contact with Chef Exclusive. They have sincerely apologized for some of the issues we had and we have reached a friendly resolution. They have certainly been helpful and easy to deal with throughout the entire process.
    We know they have had other successful events and some of our guests commented they really enjoyed the food at our wedding. In retrospect, we would use Chef Exclusive again.

    My husband and I would highly recommend Chef Exclusive Catering for any function being contemplated. The menues are extensive and cater to all tastes. We were delighted with the choices we made for our party; the delicious food was well-prepared and beautifully presented.     I used Chef Exclusive before for several business functions and was always pleased. My wife and I decided to use them for our wedding. Overall, we were very happy. To this day, our guests still comment on how great the food and service was. Pricing was affordable and the main chef has a lot of creativity. We also liked how we could do a lot of customization. We highly recommend this caterer for any function.

    Excellent Food....my guests could not say enough about the lanb in paticular. We loved the suggestions the chef provided. All in all, a solid catering experience!

    I will say that the end result at our actual wedding reception was wonderful...just getting to that was an issue. The buisness coordinator was very unorganized and unreliable. She often didn't know answers to questions, and would need to check with the chef, and get back to me at least a week later. I often had to ask her for invoices and prices 2-3x's before recieving it..and it was usually wrong when she did get back to me- she hadn't made adjustments or corrections. Any time I called or even if she called me, she acted like it was inconvienent.
    When we had our final meeting at the venue- which she had been to several times- she did not take any notes because there was "no where to plug her computer in." I then received an email a few days later asking many of the questions I already answered. I had to go on a buisness trip a few days before the wedding and asked her several times if there were any last minute things that still needed to be done as it would not be easy to reach me. She emailed me atleast every day with more things that needed to be taken care of while I was on the trip.
    Tasting and meeting the chef went very well- a very kind and creative man. The food was wonderful for the reception, and dinner service was EXCELLANT.
