Cori was exceptional. After submitting an inquiry on her website, we had a quick chat over the phone. She was lovely and funny, and I knew I could count on her to be our officiant. Then, via email, she guided me throughout the entire process(i.e., marriage license). Months before our intimate ceremony, she asked us what we would want our day to look like with simple questions, and days later, she sent us our vows, and they were beautiful. Of course, they sound even better on our special day -- I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but I did.

I cannot say enough about our officiant Cori. She was great. She showed up early. Had everything in order did not stress once about our vows, our marriage license or anything else that we may have forgotten. She was very patient as we had to wait out the thunderstorms. Intimate Charleston ceremony
Cori was wonderful to work with. My husband and I wanted a small intimate ceremony in Charleston. She recommended Hampton park for the Spanish moss covered Oak trees I was looking for. The ceremony was perfect. Cori went above and beyond to meet our needs. She even met us the next day to notarize some paperwork for us. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for an officiant!

Cori is wonderful. She is very professional and knowelegeable. Sh e helped us choose our wedding venue and even took pictures that are so professional. I got copies of every one for our little wedding album. You cannot go wrong in choosing her. I cannot praise her enough. My husband lost the pictures when he changed computers, but she sent them to us again and we had them all printed. She is so charming and delightful.

Our experience working with Cori was AMAZING! Cori’s customer service was comforting…it was like we were working with a long time friend! She made everything so easy. Cori was amazing; from start to finish she was professional, warm, kind, interactive, and a complete delight. She arrived early and interacted with guests and both myself and now husband. She has followed up multiple times since the wedding to ensure all are needs are met. She has greatly assisted with retrieving certified copies of our marriage license which I stressed over being difficult however she placed my mind at ease. She worked with the DJ to make sure everything was timed perfectly, everyone could clearly hear and everything we possibly dreamed of was there on our wedding day. I can’t imagine anyone else marrying us and we would be honored to have Cori join us down the road as we renew our vows in the future.

We would highly recommend Cori to anyone, she made everything so easy. We are not from Charleston and due to COVID we were doing a small intimate ceremony before our big one next year. We first linked up with Cori via phone call to discuss ideas, costs and to see if we were a good fit. She did not rush the conversation and was genuinely interested in getting to know us. When I asked her about the finer details she gave me amazing advice and suggestions on photographers, location, hair and make up, flowers, etc. This was very important to me as we do not know anyone in Charleston. After our phone call most of our communication was done via email and text, again it was super easy and Cori was always very responsive. Cori made us feel very relaxed about the entire process. The words she wrote for our ceremony were perfect for us in every way, our guests and family on zoom are still talking about how fantastic the ceremony was. Simple Elopement
I found Cori here and she called me within a day to help out with my husband and I’s elopement. We’re originally from Chicago, and wanted something simple so that we could spend the rest of the day exploring Charleston. Cori was prompt, helped out with a hiccup at our venue, and coached us through the paperwork. She also dropped everything off at the courthouse for us. It was so nice to have peace of mind during the logistics of getting married and Cori was a wonderful addition to our small but important day. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

The parts that we left to her discretion were also beautifully written. You could just tell Cori genuinely wanted your day to be the most special and totally representative of you (the couple). Wow, where do I begin? Cori is absolutely amazing. I found her on Wedding Wire. I sent a request to Cori asking about her pricing, etc. and within 5 minutes of sending in the request, I had a missed call from her! I promptly called her back, and we spoke on the phone for over an hour. I felt like I was talking to a long lost relative! She is so genuine, caring, and personable. I felt an immediate connection with her, and just knew I had to have her as my officiant! Cori kept in contact with me via text, and any questions that I had, she promptly replied. I will never forget the day she sent over my ceremony write up. It had me in tears, and was everything i could have wanted, and more! I love the fact that she wanted to include some sort of funny and unique comment towards the groom, and bride that really highlighted who they are as a person. She offered some great ideas to really hit the nail on the head as to who we are, and our guests REALLY enjoyed the unique touch it added to the ceremony. Fast-forwarding time to our wedding day. She arrived early, made sure that I was really to take the plunge into holy matrimony! She worked so incredibly well with my wedding coordinators. She spoke loudly, and clearly to ensure that everyone heard her. Most importantly, she made sure that Aaron and I were engaged in one another when we were saying our vows. She made sure to take her time, and speak slowly to us when we had to recite back our vows. After the ceremony had ended, we signed our wedding license with her, and she was very clear and detailed on the next steps she needed to take in order to send our license off to the state. She handled everything for us. She was such a blessing to have officiated our wedding. I can't thank her enough for this gorgeously written wedding ceremony. Cori officiated our Covid elopement ceremony at Isle of Palms and everything about her and the ceremony was absolutely perfect!! She was very helpful before the ceremony helping us choose our vows and letting us know what to expect. I had some difficulty with the county clerk in obtaining the marriage license and Cori went above and beyond to ensure that everything was rectified so that we would have the license in time. Now that we are back home Cori has continued to help us by making sure we have everything in place for my name change. I highly recommend Cori to anyone looking to elope in Charleston! Cori has been absolutely wonderful! We’re so glad we picked her to be our officiant. We’ve been working with her from a distance throughout the planning process as we’re from out of state. She has been great with communicating and always answers all our questions. We had to postpone our early May wedding due to the pandemic, and she was so understanding and flexible about it. We made a last minute decision to elope a few weeks later and were so glad she was available to officiate. We had such a nice experience with her, and are really looking forward to having our rescheduled ceremony with her next year.

If you want an officant that cares A LOT about making your day meaningful and personalized then definitely hire Cori for your Officiant! She worked with us from out of town up till OUR BIG day, giving us advice, recommendations, personalizing our ceremony vows, going the extra mile even when it rained and we had to move our ceremony back one day, she was flexible! Cori even gave advice to the photographer about some great spots to take pictures at Magnolia Gardens where we got married! Cori was professional, quick to respond and flexible. Any questions I had, Cori would respond within a day or simply give me a quick call to discuss over the phone. Upon booking, we received the ceremony script and were able to tailor the ceremony to fit our personalities and vision. We were blown away with how PERFECT our day was! We planned our wedding only 3 weeks in advance, and Cori was so accommodating the whole time. She was extremely helpful and informative. I was worried that we wouldn’t be able to get married amidst the corona virus outbreak, but she made sure that we had the most perfect ceremony even though the beaches were closed. She picked the perfect place as a “back up” and we are so thankful for the beautiful life long memory that we were able to make because of Cori! She even took pictures for us and they came out so wonderful. She more than exceeded all of our expectations and if you are considering using her services, absolutely do it!!!

We worked with Cori from Charleston Intimate Ceremonies and from day 1 she was so responsive and accommodating. We had to switch the time at one point and that was no issue for her whatsoever. She gave us plenty of options to choose from depending on how big or small our wedding was, and she even provided our vows to us to review in advance. She showed up in a timely manner and was so professional and patient every step of the way. We loved having her as our officiant and highly recommend her for all future couples in the Charleston area!

Everything We Hoped For!
Cori was incredible to work with. We really appreciated that she took time to get to know both my husband and I prior to writing our ceremony, which was something very important to us both, as we wanted to be married by someone who understood our story and who would tailor the ceremony to fit us as a couple.
Cori was also very responsive throughout the entire process. She sent us drafts of the ceremony script, was open to our feedback, and incorporated changes we asked for. Initially we thought we wanted a very contemporary ceremony with minimal religious/traditional elements. However, we changed our minds, and without much time before the wedding, Cori was willing to make changes to the ceremony to fit our desires. She did an incredible job of incorporating both traditional and contemporary elements into the ceremony.
Cori wrote a ceremony that was everything we dreamed of. Our wedding was small and intimate, and we truly believe she was able to capture everything was wanted into our ceremony.
Neither my husband nor I have attended many weddings. So going into the ceremony, we thought our ceremony script was fairly typical - we knew it was incredibly meaningful to us but figured it would be a pretty standard ceremony to our guests. However, we were surprised after the ceremony, as pretty much all of our friends and family commented on how beautiful and unique the ceremony was.
We truly loved working with Cori and she was such a pleasure to be around. We highly recommend her to other couples!

Great elopement experience - Isle of Palms
My now-husband and I decided to elope and with about 10 days notice, we contacted Cori who was able and eager to perform our ceremony! We got married at 7:00am on Isle of Palms and it was a beautiful venue with a ceremony that was just-right. We used Cori's non-religious vows which were perfect. We hired Cori to officiate our intimate beach ceremony. The whole experience from start to finish was great. Cori is so sweet, and was very responsive over email. The day of our wedding it rained. Much more than an Officiant
Cori was amazing. We had an elopement for 2 setup. We met her in Mount Pleasant for our ceremony. The park was perfect the setting was perfect. We asked for a religious ceremony which she delivered on so very well. Both myself and the groom became very emotional. Especially the groom and I was not expecting that at all. At all. An absolute gem!
My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience in Charleston for our wedding. Cori was very accommodating and recommended some beautiful choices for our ceremony. Her photographer did an absolutely amazing job with all of our photos too! Unfortunately the state of South Carolina has a disgruntled employee filing our paperwork, and once we returned home learned that our paperwork had been completely lost! Since we live out of state, I had no choice but to contact Cori to figure out what to do. It was as if our marriage had never happened. How disappointing! But Cori absolutely saved the day. She went back to the office and got all new paperwork, sent them to us to sign, resigned her part, then went BACK to the office, yet again and retrieved my certified copies so that I could show proof of marriage to change my name. She didn’t trust the incompetent employees and sent us out certified copies HERSELF through certified mail to ensure we would get what we needed. What an amazing person to go through all this trouble for us! Otherwise we’d be reliant on the state employees, which I certainly would not trust again. I would highly recommend Cori and her photographer. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. And I also highly recommend if you are out of state, to get your certified copies before you leave town.

When we decided to get married, we knew we wanted a small ceremony with just the two of us, but we didn't know where to begin! We first decided that we wanted to go on a cruise for our honeymoon, so what better place than Charleston to have our wedding? After searching online, I found Cori. We communicated through email a few times and spoke on the phone a couple of times before the wedding. She made sure that the whole process was very personal. She also recommended a photographer, Dennis, for us and he was great as well! We went from engaged to married in two months, and Cori was so accommodating and helpful for us. Cori was so beyond wonderful. She did the perfect job all the way through the planning process and pulled off the most incredible ceremony on the day. Cori made sure our ceremony was personalised to us. She made sure she got to know us and what was important to us so she could do that accurately. She did a fabulous mix of American/English/Christian and Catholic touches to suit us. When asked what our favourite part of our wedding day was, me and my husband both describe the ceremony as the most magical part for us by far. And that was all down to Cori.

We could not have asked for better! We got married outdoors in Philadelphia Alley. It’s absolutely beautiful! Our ceremony was simple and intimate. Cori did a fantastic job!
Jeff the photographer went above and beyond! He even laid down in the middle of the street to get the perfect pic of us! In the package deal it says that you get the photographer for an hour but he gets into it so much that he stayed with us for 3 hrs! Cori also stayed with us the entire time and was an assistant to him when needed. All of this while walking downtown in the scorching heat. They are the perfect package deal!

Although my wife and I opted for the short and sweet ceremony, to our surprise Cori turned it into a full blown mini ceremonial blessing with photo shoots. It was completely unexpected and we are so delighted and grateful to have receive such a beautiful blessing and services from her, thank you so much!

We will FOREVER be grateful to Cori at Charleston Intimate Ceremonies. From the very first phone call she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She is super professional but friendly at the same time. I sincerely love her to pieces. We didn't want a huge wedding but also didn't want to go to the courthouse to wed. She took the time to ask questions about our family and incorporated that into our vows perfectly. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

Cori did a wonderful job with my husband’s and my ceremony. She really incorporated our faiths (he’s Jewish and I’m christian). We didn’t have a rehearsal so the beginning part was a little odd at first, but once we got things going it smoothly. It did rain however, but we made the absolute best out of it. Her pricing was very reasonable as well. Even at one point we thought we were gonna have to move the wedding up for various reasons, thankfully we didn’t have to, but when I informed her of the situation it more than likely wouldn’t have been a problem in doing so. I would definitely recommend her. She did her job and she did it well. She was also very informative for after the ceremony taking place in what needed to be done for me to get my name changed (still in process of). Just make sure you book early enough because she doesn’t get quite busy. I booked her around tax time and we were set to get married September 10th. All around she’s awesome and it was a great experience with her! Thanks Cori!

AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe our experience with Charleston Intimate Ceremonies. If you're looking for an officiant who is friendly, resourceful and attentive to your needs, then you'll want Cori. From our first contact, to the day of our wedding, she was there for us, making sure our special day would be stress-free and spectacular. Dennis, our photographer, was fun, creative, and a pleasure to work with. He immediately put us at ease and captured every detail of our wedding. He blew us away with photos that far exceeded our expectations. Cori and Dennis are an excellent team and we are so happy we choose Charleston Intimate Ceremonies!

Our experience with Charleston Intimate Ceremonies is 5 stars hands down, due to everything from start to finish was fabulous. Cori was the best officiant we could ask for. She was very sweet and everything was very professional for a quiet simple civil ceremony on the beach as requested. The ceremony she put together was perfect. This was a renewal of vows and it was honestly better then our first wedding years ago. We choose not to have pictures done professionally however Cori was so nice in taking pictures of us on our phones. So we could share with our adult kids and family. Thank you for the 5 star service. Cori was a dream come true for us! I didn't know Cori and was planning my elopement from another state. I am BEYOND thankful that I found Cori. She helped me in finding a nice place to stay, with food recommendations, and her website gave me the idea to have the ceremony under the gazebo! It rained 1 hour before our wedding and everyone involved was trying to figure out what to do. Cori rescheduled another meeting that evening in order to accommodate any change in plans. Her ceremony was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted and my parents are still talking about how sweet and cherishing the ceremony was that Cori put together. Trust her! She knows what she is doing and will make your ceremony so special!

Cori provided us with a beautiful ceremony for our elopement! She was very kind and helpful in selecting a location for our ceremony. She also took the time to put together a post wedding packet which included helpful information regarding name change, where/how to obtain an official copy of the marriage certificate, and a copy of our beautifully written ceremony to help us always remember the vows and commitment made to one another. She helped us to keep our elopement simple and stress free, just like we had hoped! I would recommend Cori to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding officiant!

Cori was such a blessing to work with. I felt so confident in what she had to offer for our wedding. She was always prompt in responding to my questions or concerns (both by text, phone, and email) and explained everything to us in detail. We talked over the phone many times leading up to our wedding date. My husband and I got married on Isle of Palms and did the ceremony plus photography package. We were extremely pleased with our photo shoot and how easy and stress-free Cori made this day for us. She including maps and gave us very helpful advice as we were from out of town! My entire family that traveled with us fell in love with her as well. She was so positive and helped make our entire day memorable. She was exactly what we needed and wanted! We hired her as our wedding coordinator, but ended up with a great friend!

Cori was truly excellent to have as our officiant. She is amazingly helpful and is willing to work with you whether it is a big or small ceremony. Ours was short and sweet and very heartfelt, I wanted to cry multiple times. She is a wonderful, down to earth lady. Cori performed the ceremony for our elopement in Charleston on 5/5/2018. She was a joy to work with. We spoke and texted a few times on the phone prior and we were not the slightest bit anxious come the big day. She was very professional and put us at ease during the whole experience. Cori is from the area, so she knew several sweet spots and we took her recommendations for one of them and couldn't have been happier with the spot. I would highly recommend using Cori and Charleston Intimate Ceremonies to anyone who wants to make their wedding day special!

Cori was available from the beginning of our wedding planning, even before we booked her. She offered suggestions about beaches, time of day and time of year. After we booked her, she continued to correspond through email answering any and all questions. Planning a destination wedding to a place you have never visited is stressful enough but she made it easy. She looked up vendors that would serve a small ceremony for chairs and verified the location the week of. She even checked into parking for our guest. She was amazing and helpful. She is definitely a must for your wedding.

Cori was fantastic! My husband Kevin and I are local Charlestonians and wanted a simple, intimate ceremony. Cori was very knowledgeable of the best locations to have the kind of experience and setting we wanted (we chose the beautiful Magnolia Gardens). She was always easy to contact and the ceremony she put together was wonderful. Cori also has relationships with some absolutely amazing photographers who captured photos of our special day that we will cherish forever.
All in all our experience with Charleston Intimate Ceremonies was better than we could have hoped for. Our elopement could have been stressful from start to finish but it wasn't in large part due to Cori and her warm professionalism. Thank you so much for helping us make our dream wedding a reality.

Cori was wonderful! She is absolutely fantastic to work with. My husband is in the navy as was her father, so it was a special bond that was created over that. Anyone in the navy/military looking for an officiant should hire her! Also, she is really helpful with trying to find venues that fit your needs and also catering in Charleston, which is really good for couples doing destination weddings. She is super flexible and the ceremony she wrote
for us was beautiful. On the day of the wedding there was a mixup with the money but we got it all straightened out and thankfully she was very understanding about it! She provides great instructions for what to do the day of the wedding and afterwards to get your name changed and so on. I definitely recommend her!

Cori made our ceremony so special. I live in Philadelphia, so it was hard for me to plan a wedding in a place I didn’t necessarily know. Cori recommended hair, make up, flowers, and a photographer and I couldnt be happier with how everything turned out. Cori was always available to talk and really made me feel like I was making the right choice when picking an officiant. She personalized our ceremony and made sure that everything we wanted was included. She even stayed to hang out with us while we were getting our pictures taken! She is super friendly and truly loves what she does. If you want to make your wedding special, pick Cori!
