We wanted a bougie wedding on a budget and that's why we booked CDT. Our initial price for an all inclusive 50 people wedding was $7000 which included cupcakes/cake, champagne for couple, DJ, some decor, main course and a keg of beer. We paid an additional $2000 for some nicer chairs, more alcohol, appetisers, ceremony arch and a tiered cake for 50 people. This was very affordable. We were able to bring in our own decor and everything turned out great.
The venue itself is an auditorium with a stage but all the magic is in the lighting. The DJ (Tim) is amazing and comes with the package. He kept the dance floor going.
The photographer (Matt Eberle) was not included in this package but was recommended and he was amazing too. We got his $3000 package for 4 hours which was plenty for us. Tim and Matt coordinated a lot to get great vibes and pics.
The meals were okay. They were not bad or good.
We did hear that the bartender was amazing and was making some great drinks! Always a plus!
Marta and her team overall are amazing. I printed out pictures of how I wanted my decor to look like the day of the wedding during the reception and they delivered. We just had to come in the day before the wedding, do most of the decor and anything that would be the day of decor was left on Marta and her team. I brought my own flower centerpieces, candles etc. They even stored my fresh floral centerpieces in their fridge so they stayed fresh.
Marta stayed until 11 pm on the day of the wedding making sure everything was perfect.
They even boxed up my left over cake for me.
Her team cleaned up everything and put it together in a room so we could just pick it up the next day.
Marta and Sophia are also very communicative over email or phone. I never felt it was hard to work with them. So accommodating! -

Chanhassen Dinner Theater and all of its team was incredible! Marta is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our day special. The wedding packages are the way to go, and it is so easy. Plus, they are there with you the whole day in case you need anything. Truly could not have asked for a better place to have our day. All the guest enjoyed every part of the wedding. We recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for something truly amazing. -

We had our reception at the dinner theater and it was perfect! Marta and the whole crew were very helpful, with setting up taking down, and making sure the day was just as we imagined! We are so happy to have had our wedding at the Chanhassen. Their wedding bundle was both very affordable and very high quality. It included the venue itself, catering, the DJ, and the cake at one convenient price with all taxes and fees included in the initial quote. All of this was coordinated by their wedding and events manager Marta, who did an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly both before and during the event. Having one point of contact for nearly everything dramatically reduced the stress of planning a wedding. She was easy to talk to, responsive to our needs and knowledgeable whenever we had questions.
The day of went off without a hitch. The ceremony space was beautiful thanks in part to their lighting as well as their pre-supplied arch. The dinner was enjoyable and tasty with a solid set of options for various dietary restrictions. And we got a lot of compliments on the DJ who kept the dance floor packed all night and really knew how to read the room for us all to have a good time!
It was easily one of the best nights of our lives and we could not have done it without the Chanhassen and their lovely, skilled staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at CDT and had a fantastic experience! Marta was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and made the planning process so easy. The all-inclusive package was a huge plus—besides photography and flowers, everything was taken care of. The two unique spaces made the evening flow seamlessly, and our guests loved the vibe. The food (especially the Chicken Chanhassen!) was amazing, and the DJ kept the energy up without being overbearing. Just note that parking can be tricky during events, and there are some stairs/ramps to navigate. Overall, a magical night—we highly recommend CDT for your wedding! -

Our wedding was August 23rd, 2025 and we had the most incredible experience at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres! From start to finish, everything was so smooth and stress-free. Their wedding package took all of the stress of wedding planning away and made it SO easy. Our guests are still raving about the amazing food. Everything was absolutely delicious! But the real standout for us was Marta, the most amazing wedding coordinator. Her attention to detail, calm demeanor, and genuine care made the entire process so enjoyable. She is truly what sold the venue to us, and she went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect.
The venue itself is stunning, and it created the most beautiful setting for our wedding day. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to the entire team at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. Highly recommend! -

We had our cocktail hour and reception at Chanhassen dinner theaters, and they couldn’t have gone any better! The all-inclusive packages that the venue provides are truly remarkable. It’s a great bang for your buck, and makes the planning so much smoother. For instance, our package included dinner, beverages, the DJ, and a cutting cake as well as cupcakes for the guests. Everyone on the staff was extremely professional, kind, and helpful. Marta, the coordinator, was easy to reach and always happy to answer any questions we had. We are so happy with our experience and can’t recommend this venue enough! -

An incredible venue for any type of wedding!
Whether you are having a smaller intimate or a large extravagant affair, the Chanhassen dinner theatre is a magical place to get married. You will not be disappointed! We had a 200+ person wedding and it was amazing.
The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff were gracious, personalized, and attentive. And who doesn't love getting to stay until midnight! Most other venues close at 10pm! Plus, it was super easy for our guests to come, park, and easily find the venue and reception - all one gorgeous spit.
Marta in particular seems to live to help people get exactly what they need, exactly when they need it! For example, we rented a 1920s car for pictures and she graciously arranged for it to be moved to directly to the right of their entrance, out of the way of traffic, but in everyone's eyeline when out guests walked in. It became a fabulous spot for pictures for both ourselves and our guests.
We also had a number of unusual requests, such as hiring our own sound technician, so our own live band could perform. We also hired a number of outside vendors and brought in our own decor. The Chanhassen worked with our vendors and incorporated our decor without a hitch!
A couple of suggestions: Buttercream Bakery and a DJ are included in their all-inclusive package and couples should consider paying for their own vendors, if these services are important to you. The Chanhassen is contracting with them, and are not involved in how they operate. These two vendors were simply not as wonderful as the Chanhassen itself.
Buttercream Bakery: If you have dreams of any kind of special decorations for your wedding cake, Buttercream will struggle to deliver on excellence in decorating. They make delicious cake and desserts, but they really are limited in how they decorate. We ended up using Buttercream for desserts and hiring an outside person for our dream wedding cake. We are very glad we made this call. The desserts were delicious and a wonderful "extra" to provide our guests with, especially those who don't enjoy cake. We were then able to have the elaborate cake we really wanted from a cake decorating experts out at Dorothy Ann Bakery.
The DJ: This is the only part of our whole wedding that was a disappointment and there was no way we could have known ahead of time. Again, the DJ is an independent person contracted by the Chanhassen, so this part of the review should simply encourage couples to hire their own DJ, if music and special wedding moments are important to you.
In short, the DJ ruined our first dance by playing the wrong song twice, he didn't cue many of the wedding moments we requested (toasts, bouquet toss, etc.), and he didn't play any of the suggested songs/genres during the reception. Just a total disappointment.
But again, the DJ was the only fly in what was otherwise a fantastic, amazing, truly memorable night at the Chanhassen. If you are looking for a unique, beautiful, and fabulous wedding venue, book the Chanhassen! -

We had our wedding at the dinner theatre in October, and it went better than our expectations. Of course, when you're hosting a party for over 150 people, there are always a few unexpected things that pop up, but Marta and her team were absolutely amazing. They were always one step ahead, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the night and very willingly to accommodate our needs. The reception was well-managed, and we received countless compliments from our guests about the venue, with many noting how unique and beautiful it was.
The food was wonderful! The portions were generous—much better than what you'd typically get at other venues or from other caterers—and everything was delicious. They also took care of all our guests' dietary restrictions seamlessly, which was a huge relief for us.
I highly recommend any couple looking for a wedding venue to check out the dinner theatre. While the venue itself is has a wonderful history and is very unique, it was truly the staff that made the evening flow so effortlessly. They were the real heroes behind the scenes, making sure our special day was everything we hoped for and more. We cannot thank them enough for a wonderful, heartfelt wedding. -

My wife and I can not recommend this place enough. Super queer friendly and incredibly accommodating to all of our needs. We are not decision making people but that was solved by Chanhassen as they help make all of the hard choices for you. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in July 2023, and we had the absolute best experience! Not only is this venue gorgeous and really fun, but the entire process with their team, from early planning through post-wedding, was seamless and well managed. Jackie, Marta, Madysen, and the entire staff at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres were phenomenal to work with and really went the extra mile the make sure our wedding was a success. The wedding day ran smoothly, communication was great, the ceremony and reception spaces were spectacular, food was delicious, and service was excellent. We received several compliments from our guests about the venue and staff. Our wedding was magical, and we’re so appreciative of the work this venue did to make that happen.
When we were selecting our venue, we loved everything about Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ wedding reception package. It is so comprehensive, fairly priced, and made the planning process quite a bit easier for us. Jackie, the Wedding & Events Manager, is amazing and is one of the many reasons we selected Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. She was so helpful throughout this entire process. We were also incredibly pleased with the team and vendors that came with the package, such as Corey our DJ, Tim from Minnesota Wedding Party, Buttercream Bakery, and the banquet staff. The ability to play music videos during the dancing portion of the evening was awesome. We added on the Mirror Photo Booth through Minnesota Wedding Party, and it was a huge hit! The photo booth was staffed by Mel, who was so fun and great with our guests. It was a really cool addition that we would highly recommend to others. -

We are so incredibly happy that we had our wedding at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres! We are avid theatregoers and have had many great experiences at the Chanhassen for their musicals, so it was a perfect fit for us! We could easily write an entire essay about how perfect the Chanhassen was for our wedding, but we’ll try our best to keep it brief!
To start it off, the Chanhassen offers a wedding package that is high quality at an affordable price. Beginning with the venue itself, we had our ceremony and dancing in the Club Theatre, cocktail hour in the Garden Room, and dinner in the Banquet Room. The Club Theatre offers a beautiful and unique space for the ceremony, which then later becomes the perfect space for dancing. The Garden Room and the Banquet Room are cozy and intimate spaces for cocktails and dinner. Speaking of dinner, we did the plated entrée option – you can choose that or a buffet style dinner. There were numerous options for entrées and they did a great job of customizing the meals to be exactly what we wanted (including accommodating our gluten-free guests). The dinners were fantastic, we loved our meals and all of our guests did too! We also added on appetizers and late-night bites through the Chanhassen, all of which were great. The package includes a good amount of alcohol too, which is appreciated – you of course can always add on more if you’d like. The Chanhassen has a partnership with Buttercream Cakes & Desserts, who provided a cutting cake (for us) and a cupcake tower (for our guests). The cutting cake was absolutely delicious, so moist and just the right amount of sweetness, and all of our guests loved the cupcakes! There are so many unique flavors of cupcakes available and all of them were so good – and they had a variety of gluten-free options available too!
Throughout every step of the process, we worked with the Chanhassen’s wedding coordinator, Jackie Lovsness. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jackie and we are so happy that she was our wedding coordinator! Jackie is so friendly, so sweet, and truly cared for us as a couple. There was so much detailed planning, so many emails, so many little details to keep on top of - and she made sure it was all done perfectly! On our wedding day, she was super attentive, made sure everything went smoothly, and just overall did anything and everything she could to make the day as perfect as possible. Our DJ was also part of the Chanhassen’s wedding package. We worked with both DJ Tim, prior to the wedding, and DJ Corey, on our actual wedding day. Both of them were an absolute pleasure to work with! We first met with DJ Tim to begin the process of planning everything related to the ceremony music, reception music, speeches, etc. DJ Tim is a fountain of knowledge and just a super fun and funny guy! Also, even though we worked with DJ Corey on the day of, DJ Tim always made himself available to us by text/phone/email. Even though our wedding was literally the same day as a family wedding he was attending, he told us to not hesitate to reach out to him for anything we needed. On the day of our wedding, we worked with DJ Corey. He is incredibly nice, very fun, and great at what he does. He acts not only as a DJ but also as a second coordinator which was so valuable on our wedding day! He ensured we were staying on schedule and helped coordinate the flow of events throughout the evening. His song selections were great, a wide mix of music that had us all entertained throughout the whole night! He made sure to play our own song requests as well as various song requests from our guests alongside his own selections. Also notable – he does a very cool thing where various videos (music videos, concert videos, etc.) play alongside the music on a large screen during open dance. It’s super unique and all of our guests loved it! We also added on a mirror photo booth through DJ Tim and DJ Corey, which was super cool and very unique compared to the standard photo booths you usually see!
Overall, I can’t recommend enough that you have your wedding through the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres! Every part of the package was wonderful. The value is great, the space was perfect, the food was excellent, the dessert was delicious, Jackie is an amazing wedding coordinator, and DJ Tim and DJ Corey are wonderful. Every other person that worked our wedding was great as well! Everyone was absolutely top-notch across the board. We have received so many compliments from family and friends on how amazing the Chanhassen was as a venue for our wedding and how everything was simply fantastic! Thank you again to everyone at the Chanhassen who played a part in hosting a perfect wedding for us! We wish we could relive it! -

We picked Chanhassen because we wanted all-inclusive and me being a theatre kid was an added bonus! It's easier to tell you what wasn't provided, and that was florist, photographer, and videographer. They had everything else! We skipped a florist and made our own centerpieces, but Chanhassen offered extra votives as well. They also allowed us to set up the day before, which was much appreciated.
We were very happy that they provided a bundle with a local golf course (Bluff Creek) and we had our ceremony there. It was an added fee, but well worth it to get some outdoor pictures and see those fall colors. They set up and tore down everything but the centerpieces we provided, which was fantastic. They also, when we forgot a few pieces of decor, messaged us and let us pick them up a few days later. A note on the outdoor space, make sure to scope it out beforehand! We ended up hiding at the bottom of a hill because I never asked where a good place to hide would be. But it worked out great regardless. Our venue coordinator showed up and her and the DJ helped the ceremony along flawlessly.
Speaking of the venue coordinator, Jackie was great! We originally booked with a different coordinator, but she quit soon after booking us. And the next coordinator also quit before our day. That part was a bit stressful, but Jackie looked over all of their notes and was willing to have a few virtual meetings with us before our final in-person meeting to make sure we were on track! She was quick to respond to messages too.
The cocktail hour area was a bit small for 150 guests. We'd only seen the space fully opened, so we were surprised to see it closed up for that space of time. Luckily, we were a close knit group, so it wasn't the end of the world, and the appetizers (antipasto platters and BBQ pulled pork sliders) were fantastic to make up for it!
Once those walls opened up, we all sat down and had an amazing dinner! Chicken Chanhassen was the meal of choice, but I loved the haddock and our vegetarian guests raved about the lasagna! We had our tasting with 6 full dishes, which was amazing, but unfortunately had not tried the lasagna, so we were very happy that it was a hit! We were also told the kids meals were happily devoured and they had enough high chairs and booster seats for all of the toddlers.
The bakery, Buttercream Bakery, was absolutely great to work with. A tasting with them was included and the cake was delicious! They do offer gluten-free options (we were able to get 1 gluten-free cupcake along with our 4 tier cake), but little else. Chanhassen, thankfully, worked with us and allowed us to pay extra for dessert from their own menu so we could give a treat to our guests with dairy and nut allergies, which was very important to me. Also, I do not know if this has changed, but our package included 2 kegs. After that it was cash bar unless you hosted, but it was a great thing to have! We underestimated our wine drinkers and overestimated our beer drinkers, so we ran out of hosted wine before we got through one keg, but still worth it!
Next was dancing. I LOVED that we got to do the first dance and parent dances on stage! I also loved that they played music videos while the songs played. The DJ started with older hits to get everyone on the floor and it really worked. Then he got into our more obscure song requests (including some Japanese songs), but the vibe was still there! It was a bit loud, but that's on us for not asking him to lower the volume. We kept meaning to but would get distracted by other things. The late night snack, a popcorn bar in our case, was also a hit and I got to bring some to go boxes home.
Despite a few hiccups (like the coordinator turnover, my partner finding chairs tipped over at the ceremony space [we think it was an errant sprinkler, easily fixed, I didn't even know until later!], not ordering enough wine, and the music ending a bit early), I would recommend the venue 100 times over! It was a unique experience and space and I enjoyed every minute of our wedding day! -

Gosh, there are just so many kind and wonderful things to say about Robyn and the Chanhassen Dinner Theater but I'll do my best to make it short(ish)! My husband and I LOVE going to the dinner theater for our birthdays and when we found out that they did weddings, the decision had already been made. It was the only venue we needed to see (and I didn't even need to see it to know it was the one)! We decided to do everything inside as it was all in one place. Getting married on the Club Theater stage was everything this Broadway Musical themed wedding needed and more! Their all inclusive packages took a lot of the weight off of our shoulders so that we could just enjoy our time being engaged and focus on our decorations! The food was scrumptious and the chef accommodated all the weird allergies that my friends and family had.
Robyn made everything so easy and was super invested in our planning process, making sure that everything was done exactly how we envisioned it! Because of Covid, we had to postpone our large celebration and she was so understanding and incredibly flexible. We loved her from the very first time we met her and knew we would really enjoy working with her. She answered my millions of questions almost as soon as I would send them and was so enthusiastic about our day. You could tell that she really loved her job and even more so enjoyed taking the time to get to know the couples! When we were there setting up, she was always available for questions or assistance which made it go fast and smooth! I can't express enough how thankful we were for Robyn, for making our day so beyond special!

All Inclusive wedding experience
I would highly suggest the Chanhassen dinner theater for anyone’s wedding venue. It was affordable and their all inclusive wedding package made it easy to plan and stay organized. I loved that the venue was already beautiful so we didn’t have to add many decorations to make it ready for the day. Our guest loved the food, atmosphere and the music videos during the dance. We also chose to add an outdoor ceremony with them which was at a beautiful golf course near by. -

I cannot say enough about how perfect our day was. We did our ceremony and reception on Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. We had never been there before checking them out as a potential venue. When we initially met with Genevieve her energy and excitement was infectious. The package was unbeatable and we never felt pressured into anything. We choose them immediately and we could not have been more impressed. From the tasting to the wedding, it was the best experience. Robyn and Genevieve were attentive and fun and were there to make sure it was all perfect. Not to mention the food...YUM, was also fantastic. Our guests raved about the venue and the service and the food! We are so grateful! -

My wedding was perfect
We just got married on feb 15th at Chanhassen Dinner Theater. It was perfect. All of my guest keep commenting that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I highly recommend having your wedding there. Everything was done so well and food was served to everyone without waiting. The staff was great to us and all of our guest. The DJ kept the dance floor full all night. The sound quality was perfect for speeches and dancing. Our pictures are really nice. And, the wedding coordinator Robyn is amazing. So much so that my wife now wants to be her friend. Hahaha but she really does care about the job she does and she does it very very well. -

Wow, I cannot say enough great things about the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. My husband and I had the most amazing wedding day, and the experience was made even better with the help of Robyn and Genevieve. The day was completely stress-free, and my husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves the whole day. Having an all-inclusive package was immensely helpful in the planning and execution process. We never felt like we had to worry about details. Robyn made us feel very secure throughout the planning process and her and the workers at the chanhassen were tremendously supportive, friendly, and helpful. We really felt like we were taken care of, pampered, and respected. From the amazing venue, to the extremely delicious food, to the awesome desserts and DJ service, every service was outstanding and of the highest quality. Our day could not have been more perfect, and that is a large thank you to Chanhassen Dinner Theaters wedding team! I highly recommend choosing this venue, and I promise they will stop at no ends to make sure your wedding day is the most special day. -

The day a parent can’t wait to hear “Mom & Dad we are getting married!” Woo Hoo!! I get to help my daughter with her wedding. Realizing that planning a wedding can be very overwhelming, stressful and expensive. So many decisions to be made – when, where, how many guests, cake, reception, entertainment, decorations, invitations, catering...$$$$. We decided to start with the wedding fair and looked at all the options out there not having any idea as to what she wanted to do. We walked past a few places and started to get overwhelmed. As we walked down an aisle we noticed out of the corner of our eyes Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. Huh??? I never knew they did weddings?? We went over and inquired and met a very friendly representative named Robyn Anderson (little did we know that she would end up being part of our family by the end of everything)
We called and set up appointment and did a walk through at the venue. We were greeted by Robyn Anderson :) We had a welcome feeling instantly, we couldn’t believe how beautiful of a venue, the romantic lighting, and intimate surroundings. We sat down and went through everything with her. She didn’t make us feel rushed, she explained all the details and left nothing unanswered. We couldn’t believe what ease and ideas we had when we left. The package options – Things we hadn’t even about: indoor or outdoor wedding, catering, they collaborate with Buttercream Cake; they also have a photo booth for entertainment and DJ and you can even host the Grooms dinner. Everything all wrapped up and all-inclusive for reasonable rates.
Our daughter decided without any hesitation to have her entire wedding celebration at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre on October 12th 2019. We give it 5 stars.
On the day of the wedding we were greeted by Robyn & Genevieve Myran another organizer. These two ladies did an outstanding job. They helped to make my daughters day extra special. We had so much fun and got to enjoy the event. They made our guests feel welcome and facilitated everything professionally. I would recommend having your special day at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and know that you will be in good hands with a memory you will never forget.

I can't thank Robyn and Genevieve enough for the absolutely amazing wedding we had! Through the whole process they both made sure we knew what was going on and communicated before, during, and after the wedding. They made every detail special for each of my guests including special dinner orders prepared for certain guests. I couldn't have asked for a better day and I can say these girls will genuinely care to make sure you have the most magical event you could ever ask for. I would trust them both with absolutely anything. They exceeded expectations from the moment we had met them! If you need a venue that will make your day special and as stress free as possible this is the place and Robyn and Genevieve are your girls. Because of these girls, we will have the best memories to look back on forever! -

We got married at Chanhassen Dinner Theaters a week ago and it could not have been a more perfect day or experience! From the very first steps in planning to the last minute details the day of, everything was thought of and cared for by Robyn, Genevieve and their team! The venue was beautiful; romantic, chic and classic! The food was wonderful, and the space was incredible! It was a package that made our wedding feel special, one of a kind and exactly what we were looking for! We had someone there every step of the way and the communication from them was outstanding!! The DJ though Chanhassen was also fantastic; he was a wonderful host through the entire night for my husband and I as well as our guests! He was so accommodating and kept our guests dancing all night long! I could rave about Chanhassen Dinner Theaters forever; from the wedding coordinator, to the serving staff, to the preparation to the communication, the food and the dancing they are wonderful! It is a package that made wedding planning a dream; I highly recommend them to any couple thinking of getting married! You will not regret it!! Congrats!! -

The Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is the perfect place to get married. I loved getting married at an all-inclusive venue, I was relaxed all day and their day-of coordinators Robyn and Genevieve handled everything for me. They treated us, the bridal party, and our families like VIPs. The DJ they provided was AMAZING and we closed down the venue dancing. All we had to do was find a photographer, outfits, and florals. So easy! Our photos are glamorous and beautiful. While it's an all-inclusive venue, they also have extra options to customize your night that are super affordable - like appetizers, a photo booth, late night snacks, and an outdoor ceremony location. We knew exactly what we'd pay going in, and they included tips and gratuity in the total, which many venues don't so you get stuck with an extra charge at the end of the night. They aren't pushy about selling you the location at all - so if you're considering it, please do a tour! The food is amazing, and see a show while you're there. -

Would I recommend them to a friend? In a heartbeat, in fact I can't stop sharing their name to any and all that will listen. My wedding happened 4 days ago and my phone is still buzzing from phone calls and text messages telling us what a great weekend it was. To say we are pleased with our choice to have Robyn and the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre host our wedding would be an understatement. One could simply list out the positives and negatives during these reviews but I think our story is a very common occurrence for many who have had their wedding and reception at CDT...our negative is we won’t be able to have another wedding here the following weekend (this was asked by multiple pleased guests who described CDT as a magical place).
The vendors CDT work with absolutely nailed it (Buttercream for desserts & Minnesota Wedding Party as the DJ). The recommended florist (Chanhassen Floral) outdid herself. But the true heroes we have to thank are Robyn, Genevieve, and the rest of the CDT staff. Robyn assumes all roles to ensure the wedding party is enjoying themselves but it doesn’t stop there. By the end of the night, family and friends were complimenting us on all wedding aspects but what you don’t expect them to also say is, “Your wedding planner is incredible.”
If you read no other part of this review understand that our wedding was thee best night of our lives. The food, venue, and dance were unbelievable but it was the details that we are still talking about. The ones that put it over the top making us question if it all happened or question if it was just a dream. The details where our ring bearer was given encouragement and support he needed leading up to his important role. The excitement and knowledge shared during the set up process of the ceremony and reception. The reassurance and patience shown during the 1,001 questions asked by a bride, groom, and mother-in-law. Those details I’m describing that we will never forget are all covered by Robyn and the rest of the CDT staff. There is no way we could ever thank her enough for all she accomplished that weekend. I challenge anyone to find a better all-around experience for your wedding weekend. They are the best! -

Tim and Henry (DJ's) were accommodating too! The food was great! We were very pleased and can't say enough of how great our day turned out! Robin even ironed a few tablecloths for us at the last minute and helped us unload the flowers . Thank you! Thank you!

We held our reception in the lower level room and the ceremony in the dance loft. The two spaces were incredible! Very warm and romantic feels with the mirrored pillars, golden chairs, and warm lighting.
The staff were top notch! One hiccup with requested beer, that by the time we knew about it was already taken care of above and beyond our expectations! Robyn and Genevieve were very thorough and were like my own secret service members making sure everything was seamless. I was surprised to see them stay all the way till the end of the night to ensure everything was perfect!
The DJ company was very personal and professional, the photo booth 110% worth the extra cost! And the service staff was always pleasant with smiles and willingness to help.
We opted for the Italian Buffet which was amazing! Many people commented on how good the food was. The package deal uses buttercream for the cake and they were super easy to work with, however good luck picking a cake favor with so many good choices to choose from.
On a business end all the costs were up front and no hidden fees! Loved loved loved this! When all was said and done the all inclusive package also included a piece of mind because we knew exactly what to expect as far as costs went. There was also plenty of opportunities to customize the all inclusive package to fit exactly what we wanted.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, unique, all in one venue!

We had our wedding at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres a few weeks ago, and it honestly couldn’t have gone better. Marta was super helpful and always available to answer our questions throughout the planning process. The venue itself was beautiful and got tons of compliments from our guests.
The food was a highlight—especially the Chanhassen Chicken, which everyone raved about. We loved how intimate the whole event felt, and our guests really enjoyed the music videos playing on the projector once the party got going.
The DJ was fantastic to work with, and the bakery did an awesome job too. The fact that the package included the DJ, bakery, and food made it such a great value overall. -

Fun all-inclusive and unique
The venue is amazing! Very LGBTQ+ friendly!! Tim the DJ was a lifesaver and was making sure we were taken care of. The music he played was top notch and turned the whole place into a nightclub with music videos playing! He even took us in a special room to “just be married for 5 minutes” and enjoy being wives before greeting everyone. The wait staff was out of this world! They made sure that if we needed anything, we would get it right away. My dress had a small issue and they helped me fix it.
It was rather hot during the reception with everyone moving around, so make sure that you don’t have a hot dress like I did (the black dress in the photos). I had to keep leaving the dance floor to cool down and even requested a fan to be placed in the dance room. They did turn up the air but it didn’t help too much, but I think it’s just an old building so they were doing the best they could. But it all worked out because I was able to chat with people more in the hallways and the balcony than I would have if I had been on the dance floor all night.
Overall a great venue with amazing staff that truly make it a night to remember. We plan on going back for our anniversaries to enjoy dinner and a show! -

Robyn was amazing! As a COVID bride things had to be shuffled and reshuffled about a billion times, but she accommodated without any hesitation! Whether it was working around our complicated schedules, getting back with efficiency to all of our questions, and generally handling the nitty gritty pieces during the actual day! Would highly recommend this venue for more than the theatre lovers! -

We had such a great time! Our friends and family are still talking about it! Robyn and Genevieve were wonderful and I cannot thank them and their team enough!! It was such a perfect venue for our 1920s themed wedding. We did the rehearsal dinner and the italian buffet was delicious!
The all inclusive options were perfect for us! We had a smaller reception, but I am sure this would work great with large weddings. The dinner was fantastic and LOVED the cake!! Highly recommend!!!!! -

Our wedding at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre was absolutely perfect! It was more than I could have ever dreamed of honestly. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially the event coordinator and her assistant, the food was phenomenal, and the space was gorgeous. We had the ceremony and reception in the club theatre and it is beyond beautiful, the chandeliers and the lighting are truly magical. The package deal they have is amazing, you get a lot for what you pay at the Chanhassen. Highly recommend them for any event but especially weddings! -

Jamie Sent on 01/15/2016There were issues with service such as the guy running the event not being told that we rented our centerpieces from them or that he had to take part of the stuff on them off since they didn't match our colors (I was told it was being done a month before hand) but it turned out beautifully. There were some bumps but I think all in all it turned out good.
