    Amazing Caterer & Food!!!!!

    We used Cha Bella to cater our wedding in July 2023 and we could not have been more happy with everything! Being a wedding planner here in Savannah Ga, I was just amazed at the professionalism and responsiveness Candice gave. She was always there to answer any of my questions and whenever I needed clarification! We are so thankful for Candice and her team, as everyone raved about the food and the service!!!!! Completely exceptional! 100% would recommend them again!!!

    Dream Wedding

    I genuinely can't thank Candice and the Cha Bella staff enough for helping me have my dream wedding! Candice was fantastic to work with and honestly made my wedding so stress free I was able to enjoy it all. The staff genuinely wanted to make sure that we had the time of our lives and we surely did. We were complimented the entire night on how good the food was and many people said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The drinks were incredible, the bartender was fantastic, and the space was perfect for my 50 person wedding. I couldn't be more appreciative of the Cha Bella staff and I am so thankful for all of their hard work. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

    Cha Bella is a beautiful restaurant right in Savannah. We chose Cha Bella for our wedding reception because in addition to having a nice size reception room inside they have a beautiful covered patio outside. We are foodies so Cha Bella’s farm to table concept of using only the freshest ingredients prepared daily at the restaurant really appealed to us. We dined there times prior to our wedding and the food was always outstanding. Candace, their event coordinator was very attentive and met all of our culinary needs. She was willing to meet several times and go over every detail to make sure our wedding was a success. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and the staff was very professional and friendly. We could not be happier about our wedding.

    I recently attended a wedding reception at Cha Bella and a great time was had by all ! The restaurant was decked out in flowers and the place looked amazing. They have a big outdoor patio where we danced the night away. Everyone had a lot of fun and nobody wanted to leave. One of the more memorable weddings that I have been to.

    We chose Cha Bella for our rehearsal dinner location. We could not be more pleased! The food was excellent! The stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes appetizers... DELICIOUS! Our guest loved it as well! They really enjoyed the ambiance of the lower patio and the swings were a hit!

    Fantastic venue for our rehearsal dinner, large number of people and this venue was not only able to accommodate our needs, the food was great, excellent staff...they gave us the whole inside of the restaurant on a Saturday night! Beautiful venue with wonderful farm to table food.

    If you are planning a wedding in the Savannah area Cha Bella is the place to have you reception. Vikram owner, manager is wonderful. Vikram and his staff bent over backwards to see to it that my daughters wedding reception was perfect. They did not miss a single thing! The food was amazing the employees so helpful and the place is gorgeous. Vikram allowed us the freedom to make his place ours for the evening. He stockpiled many our our personal belonging that we shipped weeks ahead because this was a destination wedding. Then set everything up just the way my daughter wanted it.     I can't say enough good words about Candice and Cha Bella. The menu was incredibly flexible and unique. We were able to mix and match all of the options to fit exactly what we liked and what met our budget. We were able to have a tasting and then once more when we needed to figure out another sauce for a dish. Candice was so accommodating with every aspect. She was on top of everything and helped us figure out what we would need since this wedding was off-site. She always got right back to me and kept me in the loop with different steps. Our wedding ended up getting cancelled because we had to evacuate for a hurricane and Candice didn't skip a beat. I was overwhelmed and stressed and sad that this was all happening and she helped us out without blinking an eye. I would use Cha Bella again a hundred times over for any type of catering need. They truly can fit whatever it is you're going for and the food is out of this world.

    I was thrilled to find Earth to Table Catering in Savannah, as my new husband (!!) and I generally try to eat locally, in season, and sustainably and organically when we can. Cha Bella and Earth to Table were amazingly prepared to accommodate. The food was delicious and the service was stunningly friendly, cooperative, and just generally all-around a pleasure to have around on a busy and crazy fun day. They are a relatively new catering service in Savannah (since about 2009, I believe), but were so eager to please and so skilled at menu preparation, that I doubt any of my guests would have had any idea they hadn't been running for decades. Thanks so much, Steve, Jason, and Mac, for everything you did to give us a wonderful meal on a wonderful day!

    I just had my wedding reception at Cha Bella and was extremely pleased! The food was great, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service was fantastic. They also had a lot of decorations we were able to use at no additional cost, which helped save us some money with rentals. We were able to customize a food and alcohol package that fit our needs and everything was very reasonably priced. Excellent quality and a great deal...I can't imagine having had the reception anywhere else!

    We booked Cha Bella for our wedding reception in November 2017 and couldn't have been happier with our decision to do so! The venue is absolutely stunning. You can play with the space on how you'd like to use it from a setup perspective. We had our dining portion inside, dancing outside. We know another couple who had their reception at Cha Bella as well, where they did dancing inside and dinner outside. Candice was great to work with! She runs reception planning/execution, catering, and the restaurant itself. At times, it was hard to get in touch with her, but we totally understood why knowing there was a ton of things going on during wedding season. They work with a ton of vendors all the time and gave us good pointers on who to consider for other elements of the wedding day. She was super flexible overall and made everything very easy leading up to the date. On the day of, she executed everything flawlessly. We didn't stop to worry about anything during the reception! It was absolutely perfect. The food was INCREDIBLE. She 100% knows how to make the day spectacular. If you're looking for a romantic, intimate reception space with phenomenal food, Cha Bella will exceed your expectations - no doubt about it! Thank you Candice for everything!! It was truly amazing!!!

    I love Cha Bella! It is one of my favorite restaurants. This is why my husband and I decided to have our reception there. We are very satisfied with having our wedding reception at Cha Bella. There were 2 things things we were a little dissatisfied with. The first thing, it was sometimes difficult to get ahold of the venue coordinator, Candice Carver. She is very friendly and sweet, but sometimes trying to get her to answer an email or phone call was difficult. I finally found that if I just called the restaurant, I could get her. Once I figured out the best way to reach her, it was a lot easier to get any questions or concerns addressed. The second thing that we didn't like was that we rented out the entire restaurant for 4 hours. However, after diner when most of the guests went back to the outside where the dance floor was located, they started closing up the inside. Everything was pulled and the food was taken away. The centerpieces were gathered. Several people told us that they went back for seconds and it was all gone. We paid for plenty of food. I originally told her enough for 115 guests and there were probably 95 guests that actually came to the reception. I understand the staff want to be prepared to get out of there at a reasonable hour, but we felt rushed out. I still love the restaurant and the food is so amazing. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. If you are thinking of having an event there, those are 2 things you might want to keep in mind.

    Cha Bella threw away the top tier of my wedding cake after agreeing to temporarily keep it in their cooler until I could get settled into my hotel room. When asked for the cake, they then lied to me and told me it was a health code violation to keep the cake in their cooler (which it is not).

    They have refused to compensate me with anything other than a one tier cake made by their catering coordinator (not even a pastry chef) and will not return any of my calls or emails.

    Other issues:
    - Did not show for the initial site visit
    - Slow turnaround time for communication
    - Gave me a togo plate with only shellfish when they were aware of my shellfish allergy

    We signed a contract with Cha Bella in May of 2013, for our May 2014 wedding. When we got to Cha Bella, we loved it. The layout, the food, the drink menu, it was all beautiful. From the beginning, their event planner Candace was more than unresponsive. I am talking three weeks to get an email back with our contract after we visited. We called before the restaurant opened so as to not be busy--she wasn't there. We called when the restaurant was open--she couldn't talk. We emailed and got no responses. My mother called, no response. My wedding planner called and emailed...no or slow response. We asked for the layouts of the restaurant for literally months. We showed up in Savannah (We are from Atlanta) and walked into the restaurant and found Candace. She did not have the layouts. We literally had to insist that we come back and get them the next day. 12 days before our wedding, Candace called our wedding planner to tell us that they had double booked May 3rd, and we could not have our reception there. DESPITE our contract. She told us some story about a previous event planner and how before she quit she did not put the other event on the calendar. Then, she told us that they would help us have our reception at the VFW!!! We ended up having another restaurant, SOHO South came through for us like nobody's business! Even through those last 12 days, Candace was unresponsive. The final straw was that Candace told our wedding planner that they would pay for the entire wedding reception at Soho South. Of course we were okay with that and it seemed fitting for them to owe us that. When it came time to sign the contract, Soho South called the owner of Cha Bella who has not heard ANYTHING about the debacle or the full payment. So, 5 days before our wedding, they told us what they meant was that they would pay the difference, and not the full amount. Worst experience ever. You should never, ever, ever, use Cha Bella for an event.
