Celia was AMAZING!! Not only was she completely attentive to what we wanted but also helped us with things we didn't even know we wanted! Her creativity shined in the personalized ceremony for us! She was able to make everything sound amazing even when we only had a few ideas! She made me feel so comfortable with our multiple talks on the phone that it truly felt like a friend was marrying us! A ton of guests have since told us that her timing and delivery was clear and precise and they loved how she performed the ceremony! I would recommend Celia to everyone!!

Since the ceremony is really what your wedding is all about, finding the right celebrant/officiant is so important. We wanted someone who would understand a couple who came from families of different faiths, a couple who wanted an intimate ceremony, oh, and a couple who wanted to incorporate their dog into their special day, and I can say Celia was a great match.
From the beginning, she was always quick to respond to emails and provide suggestions and was always very friendly in her emails and phone calls. We even had a last minute change to part of the ceremony the day of the wedding, and Celia accommodated with no problem.
Her ceremony was humorous, serious, personal, touching, and multidenominational—a perfect (and challenging) blend and she did a great job. We received numerous compliments on her ceremony.

Yesterday, Celia performed the most beautiful, personal, loving ceremony at my wedding. It was truly magical. There are many folks on both sides of the family that believe the only place one should be married in is a church, but after much thought, my husband and I wanted something less religious and more personal. Celia was amazing to work with. She has such a gift for telling a couple's story and I spent over an hour chatting away happily with her on my very first call inquiring about availability for my wedding day. I instantly felt as though she understood my wishes for the day and after ending our call, I phoned my husband-to-be and said, "I found her. We can stop worrying about the ceremony."
We had a relatively small wedding (~50 guests) and wanted a really intimate ceremony. Given the traditionalists in our families, we weren't sure how they would respond to the handfasting and ring warming rituals we included, but people literally raved about Celia and the ceremony the entire reception. I was amazed by the response and blown away when guests even began asking if we had trans! At first I was nervous that the wind, which had picked up quite a bit during our outdoor ceremony, had prevent some people from hearing. But the response was, "No, I heard every word and I was actually in the last row. I've just never been to a more beautiful wedding in my entire life." After that, others asked if we had copies too and I knew our ceremony had not only been right for us, but the love and truth we hoped to have shared was felt by our guests as well.

Celia was our Officiant for our Wedding and she was awesome! She put so much work and time into writing and editing our ceremony that it truly felt like ours. She was available, flexible and made sure to take care of us through the whole wedding. It was great to have her experience to guide us. Celia was amazing! She truly worked closely with us to craft our ceremony and ultimately the "story of us." It read beautifully and had a natural flow that wasn't forced or too preachy for our tastes. Though both of our families share Catholic backgrounds and were used to that type of ceremony, we received rave, honest reviews on how our ceremony was so personalized , touching, loving and inviting. My husband and I were looking for someone who would accomodate our requirements which was a non religious ceremony with hints of traditional and completely unique to our relationship. Celia met and exceeded all of those requirements. Celia was personable, down to earth and completely enthusiatic about being your officiant for the ceremony. She was very professional and knew what to do and how to have plan A,B,C ready if needed. She thought of everything.

After the Ceremony was over (which was beautiful and an amazing experience) we recieved SO many compliments from our guests about the ceremony. They could not stop singing Celia's praises about how unique and different the ceremony was. Our favorite comment was: 'I typically don't like Wedding Ceremonies. I find them boring. When I began planning our wedding, there was only one thing we knew for sure…and that was that we wanted a personalized ceremony. I had attended countless weddings where the ceremony was less than moving, seemed routine and didn’t engage guests at all. For us, the ceremony was THE reason we were gathering our friends and family on our wedding day - the reception was just gravy! Therefore, we wanted our guests to not just attend our ceremony, we wanted it to be an experience they’d never forget.


I had not only heard amazing things about Celia, but as an event planner myself, had gotten the opportunity to work with her through one of my brides. Therefore, Celia was our first stop and when Andres and I initially met with her, we were thrilled! Celia is warm and funny we just knew she was the right fit for our wedding day. Looking back, this was hands-down the easiest (and best) decision we made during our wedding planning process. We filled out questionnaires about ourselves and our relationship and about a month before our wedding day, Celia sent us the first draft of our ceremony . We cried as we read it because it was so “us.” Celia is a talented writer and told our story in a way that our guests would enjoy. There were only minor edits to that first draft and Celia turned around the changes quickly, always answering my emails within only hours. As we got closer to the wedding day, Celia even checked in with me to see how I was feeling. She offered us so many ideas and we ultimately incorporated a Ring Warming Ceremony, we honored our mothers and ancestors and we had a Blessing of the Animals (because our pets do mean that much to us!)


Our guests were completely engaged throughout our ceremony and that day, we received many compliments about what an amazing job Celia had done. They were especially surprised at how personal our ceremony was and that was confirmation that we had gotten exactly what we had wanted all along! When I look back at our wedding day, our ceremony was truly the highlight of it all and we will never be able to thank Celia enough for that! Celia was absolutely fantastic. We had such a wonderful experience with her from the beginning. Since we live far away and couldn't meet with Celia in person, she met with us over Skype throughout our engagement to find out who we were, what we were interested in, and what made the most sense to include in our ceremony. She was always available to answer questions over the phone or email (and believe me, we did have quite a few questions!).

Celia did an amazing job at the ceremony. We had an intimate group gathered for our ceremony, and everyone thought she did a beautiful job. She included a good balance of prose, personal stories, and lovely rituals (we included a candle lighting and a ring blessing). I have never seen - nor do I anticipate that I will ever see again - a ceremony as personal, unique, and beautiful as the ceremony Celia conducted.

We asked Celia to perform a very simple ceremony for us. We aren't big wedding people, and wanted to skip most of the normal wedding traditions. Like guests. Our wedding was completely private, but in a place and with vows that were meaningful to us. Celia was warm and flexible, and seemed to understand easily what we wanted. She gave us a nice text to start with and incorporated our specific words easily. She was also punctual, responsive and followed through with the legal things we needed.
