Best Wedding Caterer Ever!

We could not be happier that we chose CWAT for our daughter's wedding last weekend. The onsite staff was so amazing that a Day of Coordinator was completely unnecessary. All aspects of planning the menu, dinnerware, accessories, bar setup was a breeze thanks to Kassie's knowledge and ability to grasp exactly the atmosphere we wanted. The food was excellent!!! The staff was extremely efficient, courteous, professional and never missed a beat setting up, executing, breaking down and cleaning up after. Many of our guests raved on how friendly and helpful they were, working continuously and always with a smile! You can not go wrong by using them for any event.

I love them!

CWAT was so wonderful to work with! We had a home reception with ~75 people and they made the entire process so smooth for us, which I really appreciated because my stress level was through the roof. The food we chose was delicious, and the day-of staff was outstanding. We got so many compliments on the staff and the food (and the drinks!) from our guests. I would absolutely hire them again if I was planning a catered event.

Loved working with CWAT

Catering with a Twist came recommended to us by one of my coworkers who had them cater her wedding. Kassie was very communicative and patient with me as I made my decision on our menu and gave suggestions about what would work in our budget. Our tasting was wonderful and gave us the opportunity to try out our menu before signing any contracts. After our tasting with Kassie and Lexy my husband said, “You can really taste the love in their food.” Food is very important to him so he does not make this statement lightly. On our wedding day, Kassie’s crew was prompt and the service went wonderfully. I didn’t get to interact with anyone due to bridal things but my coordinator and mother were very impressed. I highly recommend CWAT and hope to get to taste their delicious food again soon!!!

Amazing food with exceptionally professional staff

What can we not say about this amazing catering company, Cassie and Maggie helped us smoothly create a reception meal and also pulled our whole event together by helping act as our event coordinators. They cared about our vision and successfully and beautifully followed through down to every detail including napkin color. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the food. We chose passed appetizers along with 2 entree choices for family style buffet with salad and everything was hot, fresh and beyond expectations. We would definitely hire Catering with a Twist again in a heartbeat for any function in the future thanks to Cassie and her team on our night!

Presentation Perfect and So Delish

Catering with a Twist is a hardworking group of chefs. Kassie the owner was great to work with! Everything from the hors d' oeuvre, signature drinks to an Italian themed sit down dinner was planned and presented perfectly. So Delish!!! Kassie is not only a brilliant chef but an artist as well. She and her crew went over and beyond to make everything flawless. Our whole evening was magical! Cheers!!!! Job well done!!!!

Hire Catering With a Twist!

Catering With a Twist made my wedding so delicious. I absolutely would hire them again. Kassie, Lexy, and their entire crew are so good at what they do! They are easy and flexible to communicate with and made it extremely easy to pick out the perfect package and food for my 120 guests for our wedding. They not only had multiple package options and different foods, but also had extra stuff like coffee service and late night snack bars.

Their crew was so nice and professional. Every last one of them were all smiles and dressed so nicely and uniform. I never once had any complaints from how the servers treated our guests. Only compliments.

One thing that I remember (which was weirdly important to me) is our cocktail hour with our appetizers. When you get married, and you're taking photos, sometimes you forget that there is food, but one of the wonderful servers made sure to come around to both me and my husband to get us some before it was too late.

The other thing that I absolutely loved was that they made sure to plate both of our plates (as the bride and groom) and have them right there waiting for us at the table when dinner started.

The food - AMAZING! Nothing more to say other than it was so good and my guests loved it!

The last thing that I want to say is that they have vegetarian options. It's Texas, so we had a typical southern dinner with chicken and steak, but they were so good about making sure they had some vegetarian plates set aside for anyone that needed them. That helped me feel like everyone at my wedding would enjoy the food, regardless of their food preference.

Basically, once I picked every food item for the wedding, I didn't have to worry about ONE THING (except a final head count.) They made the eating experience perfect for our wedding. Hire them! You will NOT be disappointed.

Unbelievably Delicious

For our wedding we wanted to celebrate our family’s love for food, but also provide variety to our guest’s many tastes. CWAT knew just how to accomplish that! They provided many services as well such as cake cutting, food clean up and trash disposal, plates, linens, glasses and silverware. The food was amazing! We had a tasting prior to, which almost felt like dining in a restaurant and we had leftovers. Most of our guests favorite was the seafood pasta bake. All of our guests raved about the food. Very happy with the turnout.

We had a BLAST at our wedding!! We were so happy how every detail worked out. The staff at Catering With A Twist was very knowledgable and helpful in the planning process. They thought of many things we would have otherwise overlooked and I don't think we could have expected a more perfect wedding. The staff was very friendly and the food was perfect!

Creative and delicious food, great service, and reliability: these were all requirements of any caterer for our wedding. We knew Catering with a Twist (CWAT) exhibited these qualities having witnessed their work at a friend’s wedding. CWAT provided us bar service, served amazing and sought-after appetizers during cocktail hour, and flipped our ceremony space into the dining space. We highly recommend Kassie and her team at CWAT.

Catering With a Twist creates fantastic one of a kind dishes and had the “Austin” flare we were looking for to cater our April wedding. I loved working with Kassie and Catering with a Twist! We were planning from across the country, so we had to forgo a tasting and go with our gut, but it worked out super well. Not only did they have a really expansive menu, Catering with a Twist gave me several proposals and edits that worked with our budget. Their displays were gorgeous at our wedding, and everyone complimented the food all night long. Their staff was SO nice and had smiles the entire night. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Catering with a Twist!

Kassie and her team are amazing!! Everything was so organized and delicious. We had Catering With a Twist provide dinner, bar tenders and cake cutting. Everything was seamless. They even sent my husband and I with a to-go bag of dinner to bring to our hotel after the wedding!

Kassie and team were fantastic to work with. We changed our mind a few times on different food choices and they rolled with the changes every time! The guests loved the food and said it was the best wedding food they have had. My husband and I were also thrilled to have a "to go" bag packed for us afterwards. CWAT did pass through appetizers, family style dinner (highly recommended), bartending, and desserts - including a small cake for the cake cutting ceremony. Excellent experience - and would hire again in a second!

Catering With a Twist; five stars is only the beginning! Kassie and her amazing team made my wedding an unforgettable experience! Through the entire process, Kassie was there with impeccable timing to questions, accommodating with requests and awesome leader for her team! I thoroughly enjoyed her process and questionnaires so that way she could customize everything.

The Executive Chef, Lexy, let me say that her cuisine rocked! We had so many compliments from our friends and family members but more importantly, both myself and my husband were impressed and extremely satisfied! Kudos to Chef Lexy and the team!

CWAT staff members we also very friendly, courteous and prompt. Anything we requested they delivered! From the passed appetizers, to the family style dinner service all the way up to the ice cream sundae bar, CWAT was everything we could've hope for and more.

WOW! These guys were all my guests talked about, everyone was so impressed with their service and quality of food! We booked their food and bartending services. They rocked it! I would absolutely recommend CWT to everyone I know for all events! Kassie was amazing to work with and plan our special day.

The entire crew was friendly and engaged with our guests. They were so thoughtful to our wedding party by coming through with appetizers for them while they waited their turn to take pictures.

The food was absolutely amazing and elegantly presented.

Honestly, everything about them down to the details of the table set up...AH-MAZING!

I was completely BLOWN AWAY with CWAT. They catered and bar tended our wedding and they simply went above and beyond what I would have even thought about expecting. Working with them to design my experience was so easy. Kassie was ALWAYS flexible and helpful. And then, the night of the wedding, the service staff was simply amazing; helpful, kind, smiling... I could go on and on... and I haven't even talked about the food yet. Wedding food is wedding food... it's usually just fine. This food was mouthwatering and unique and now I am trying to find reasons to cater something else... If they were a restaurant, I would eat there everyday!

Kassie and her team were amazing! From the very beginning, Kassie was bright, bubbly, and full of great ideas. She welcomed my overly detailed type A self with open arms and went above and beyond with everything. She took the time to walk me through the entire warehouse and pick out each piece and put it together for the most perfect display! The food was phenomenal! It was hot, fresh, and delicious. Almost two months later and people still tell me how much they enjoyed the dinner. My husband and I are so, so happy we choose Catering With A Twist!

Catering With a Twist recently catered an event at my venue (Pearl Snap Hall). I've worked with a lot of caterers, but I was particularly taken with this experience! The staff was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and was artfully prepared & arranged, and working with Kassie was wonderful! Catering With a Twist were super professional and made the food & beverage portion of our day stress-free. I'm going to be recommending Catering With a Twist to all of my clients. In fact, I've added them as one of my preferred vendors.

I can’t praise Catering With a Twist enough!! They were a perfect choice for our December Dripping Springs wedding. We met with Kassie and her team multiple times in order to create the perfect menu for our reception and it was absolutely amazing. From the passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour to our family style dinner and cake cutting services, everything was beautifully executed, delicious, and the staff was always professional. We received so many complements from our guests saying how great the food was; it really was exactly what we wanted. I’ve been to many weddings where the food was mediocre and I definitely wanted to step it up a notch. CWAT nailed it and I’m so glad we chose them for catering. Kassie is incredibly accommodating and didn’t hesitate when we changed our menu multiple times. She responded to my many emails quickly and was so nice and easy to work with. I’d highly recommend CWAT to anyone, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I used CWAT for our recent March wedding and couldn't have been more pleased! After going through several caterers who were extremely unresponsive or difficult to work with I can't express enough what a relief it was to find Kassie with CWAT. Kassie was hands down the most responsive and communicative vendor we worked with for our wedding. She was thorough and worked with us and our tight budget to ensure the catering was perfect for our day.

Aside from the more business side of CWAT the food was awesome! To be honest my husband and I had already prepared ourselves for mediocre food since we figured most catered food is good but nothing to get all excited about. In addition we actually didn't taste the food before hand since we live in a different city. Boy were we wrong! The appetizers (mini polenta bites and mini quesadillas) were delicious, our guests couldn't stop talking about them. The dinner was great as well, the spicy caesar salad had this great dressing that was tangy and had a good kick of spice that was just enough for the spice lovers at the wedding and not too much for those who can't tolerate a lot of heat. The grilled chicken was flavorful and juicy, southwestern mashed potatoes were creamy and full of flavor, and the roasted veggies were cooked and seasoned perfectly. In addition we had some vegan and vegetarian guests and the stuffed bell pepper they prepared special for them was reportedly awesome.

Finally my favorite food of the night: dessert! We ended up with 5 dessert options (lol). All of them were AMAZING. What a way to end the night, my guests couldn't stop raving about all the desserts. The banana cream pie and peanut butter chocolate pie were my personal favorite.

Our wedding night was amazing and I know part of that was having really great vendors. CWAT is the perfect combo of great customer service, creativity, great food, and affordability!

Where do I even begin? From the very first contact made, Kassie made it her mission to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way. From the menu planning, to the set up, to the day-of hustle and bustle... I mean, this company is the real deal. We're from California, had a vintage inspired wedding, and the CWAT team fit the mold perfectly. And the FOOD... OH MY GOD THE FOOD. No one could shut up about how good it was - even at the Farewell Brunch, people were still talking about how tasty and beautifully presented everything was! Hands down, the best food I've ever had at a wedding - the fact that it was at my own wedding makes this even sweeter. Kassie, you are the best. Thank you!!

This caterer is without a doubt a fabulous choice. Our guests were amazed at how delicious the food and appetizers were. They were punctual and very easy to work with. If you want a complete experience without any problems then these are your caterers.

It was very obvious that their main priority was us, and making sure that they did their part to make our dream wedding come true. All of the staff is so easy to communicate with, very flexible with changes or special requests, extremely detail oriented, and so helpful when it came to planning and making sure we stayed within our budget. The food was delicious, and the service on the day of our wedding was outstanding! In fact, many of our guests have told us how wonderful they were throughout the evening. I cannot rave enough about our wedding caterer Catering with a Twist, the owner Kassie, and her ENTIRE team. The food was absolutely amazing and I got rave reviews about it all night, which is a bride's dream! We had specialty craft cocktails that were made perfectly! The cake was delicious and the CWAT team even made a frosting station for our cookie bar! Day of, the CWAT was so personable to my wedding guests and completely went above and beyond in every detail! And best of all Kassie and her crew have such vibrant and welcoming personalities that added a great element often missing from weddings! Do yourself a favor and book CWAT for your wedding!

Catering with a Twist was amazing for our wedding reception dinner. Everyone raved about the food. They set up and took everything away without us even noticing. We had plated and served dinner and they were so efficient. They also set up a popcorn and candy bar for us that was such a hit! And they made candied apples as one of our wedding favors (also a hit!). Amazing service and food with prompt responses.

They were superb. Efficient and reliable. Setup was quick and perfect. They went above and beyond in offering to help cut the cake. Service was swift and staff was very friendly. All oir guests commented on the quality of the food and the service. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

When we decided we wanted to have a Sunday brunch wedding we knew our menu needed to be key. My [now] husband and I are pretty non-traditional and wanted a fun, non-traditional, kitschy menu and vibe and were convinced CWAT was THE vendor to meet our need and vision...and boy were we RIGHT! From beginning to end the whole process was effortless. Emails were timely. Questions on our vision thorough and they absolutely captured what was in my head. Not only were the displays spot-on, the staff and servers were bomb.com too. They were extremely friendly and accommodating; so much so even guests stopped us to tell us how great the servers were. The combination of top-notch food with a vibe that didn't feel 'stuffy' was exactly what we wanted. Kassie and her crew more than delivered!! ♥

Catering with a twist is so awesome. Not only was the food delicious but having a one stop shop for all reception rentals; dishes, linens, etc, and amazingly helpful. The food, service, decoration, and everything in between from Catering With A Twist was better than we could have asked for! We knew as soon as we went out to CWAT and tried the food that it was exactly what we were going for! It wasn’t your average, boring wedding food. This had style and personality and was just what we were looking for! We received so many compliment on the food and how good everything was! The service was also great! Kassie was so great to work with!! She made the process fun and stress-free! She answered all of our questions, and you could tell she really loves her job and will do whatever it takes to help make your day perfect! The service at the wedding was also absolutely wonderful! Everyone was extremely friendly! The set-up and decoration that CWAT did for the food display was also spot-on! I can’t say enough good things about CWAT, how good the food is and how great the staff is to work with! Absolutely astounding caterer. We were very happy with how everything turned out for our wedding day. Even after our numbers dropped really fast, Kassie was very accommodating and helped our day run smoothly. Her attention to detail is impeccable. I love supporting small businesses like this because they really care about their clients. The food was amazing, the style she has is unique and like no other. CWAT was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! Kassie is so sweet, fun, and quick to communicate she made the planning process so easy! They helped us put together the most delicious cocktail hour and meal for our wedding, including a bacon bar and mac n cheese bar that had everyone raging about it! Besides my husband, food is the greatest love of my life. So picking out a caterer was the most important aspect of our wedding planning. At the recommendation of both the venue and our wedding planner, we were lucky enough to book Catering With A Twist. Kassie was so friendly and helpful, answering emails and phone calls super quickly. She made us feel like we'd known her forever. We had a lot of fun picking out our menu (there were so many amazing choices!) and she was super accommodating when we changed the menu and guest count up. I mean, I ended up serving Chicken and Waffles, a Fajita and Empanada station, and a Mediterranean buffet at my wedding. That's unheard of. My guests (many from NYC, those snobs) were blown away! Wedding food is supposed to be mediocre at best, but Catering With A Twist made it delicious, beautiful, and fun! In addition to our stations and passed appetizers, we also used CWAT for our bartending, serving, and table setting needs. The staff was so super friendly, it felt like they were guests at the wedding! I loved that. And the table settings, with mismatched antique china, were perfect for the vintage "Blue Moon" theme we were going for. Our wedding was a little zany, with a choreographed bridal party number, Horah dance, and a surprise appearance by an Elvis impersonator, and Catering With A Twist brought that same joyous energy (and deliciousness) to the party. I used CWAT for both catering and bartending services for my wedding. They are on my venue’s preferred vendor list and they happened to have a tasting event around the time I needed to book a caterer. The staff was so kind and to top it off, we were VERY impressed with the food! I didn’t bother looking elsewhere and signed a contract that very day. Kassie responded to my emails as if I was the only person she was working with. She answered all kinds of questions, put up with all my rounds of changes and offered advice based on her experience; all with enthusiasm. She even took care of me a few months before the wedding when I realized I hadn’t booked bartenders! Not only were they a pleasure to work with, but I got SO many compliments on the food! My old boss, who is an executive chef for a large restaurant group, raved about the food as well as the staff! It’s not often you hear “the food was incredible” at a wedding and I heard about it more than once. The vintage china they had available to rent was the perfect touch to my décor. I am so ecstatic that I got to work with them for my wedding day. I will recommend them over and over for any catered event! Professional, caring staff and a fantastic product!

Catering with a Twist is AMAZING! I really enjoyed working with Kassie, and I highly recommend them.
Catering with a Twist doesn't taste like catering food; their food is restaurant quality. We had salmon and steak, and our guests raved about how well-cooked the steak was (and not how well done it was - it was perfectly medium rare). The appetizers were delicious- the chipotle bacon wrapped shrimp were mouth-watering, stuffed mushrooms were awesome, and bruschetta was refreshing. We also had late-night pretzel bites and cheese. I didn't get to try them, but my husband is still raving about them.
They had so many options to choose from for our meals, and they also offer tons of cool stations if you don't want a sit-down. While we didn't use them for cake or alcohol, they offer that as well. Additionally, they offer different plating packages; I picked an adorable vintage option that matched the theme and style of my wedding. They also have their staff wear aprons in one of your wedding colors; it's such a nice extra touch that they do.
Kassie is so easy to work with. Most of our communication was through email, and she always responded to my million-and-one questions within 24 hours. She was so personable and friendly, it was like she was one of our close friends. We had a great time chatting with her at our tasting! Also knowing that Kassie, the owner of the company, was personally taking care of our orders made me feel more comfortable about the quality and service we received. Seriously, Kassie is amazing to work with - she was flexible with my requests, worked with my budget constraints, had great ideas and suggestions for food pairings, and is very responsive!
Seriously, if you are getting married, you should use them. And if my husband and I ever renew our vows, we're totally hiring them again!

Kassie was great to work with. Every detail from the menu tasting to the event was awesome. The tasting is super intimate you get to meet the chef and you are practically in the kitchen :) The tasting made us super excited for our event.

The day of the event was smooth, they arrived prepared. There was staff to meet the wedding party right after the ceremony with plates of passed appetizers so that the bride, groom, and wedding party didn't miss out. We had our dinner served family style and it was seamless, quick, and they were fast at refilling dishes (our table asked for a LOT of mac and cheese!).

We found that we got the best food for the best value with Catering With a Twist and would highly recommend them and use them again!

I don't know where to start! I must have exchanged 1,000 emails with them, trying to work with my budget and with my desire to NOT have a buffet style. We also had several vegetarians at the wedding to work around and ALL of my problems were easily solved by Kassie. She gave me several options to chose from, all with budgeted information so I'd know what I was choosing. She truly put me at ease! During our tasting, we LOVED all of it, except one dish was a bit too flavorful for me, so they noted that and on the day of the wedding, it was exactly how I wanted it. They worked with me, for me and accommodated every insane need of mine. Catering was a big one! Both my husband and I are foodies and we both really wanted our meal choice to heighten the experience of our wedding rather than just fulfilling a requirement. I kid you not, I communicated with about 15 caterers in the Austin area for about six months prior to booking CWAT. We are PICKY! We were planning an Austin wedding from Houston which was a challange but Beth and Kassie "Boss Lady" made it incredibly easy. They replied to the million and one questions we had promptly and with a kind enthusiasm that showed how passionate they are about their work. I loved that their website, menu choices, and team were spunky and veered away from being a "traditional" wedding vendor. Yes, I even critique a vendor's website, blame the art degree! At our tasting I wasn't feeling well and they packed my meal to go. Even re-heated the food was to die for! We went for a hearty meal since the wedding was in December and we figured our guests would wan't something to warm up their bellies. The appetizers were a hit! Our safety choice of spinach and artichoke dip is still something our guests talk about, it was delicious! You guys, if the dip makes that much of an impact can you imagine the rest of the meal? Everything was fresh, hearty, and served hot. The best part of it all was the team working the event. So polite, friendly, and genuinely happy for us! We also hired them for the bar service and Lisa, our bartender, not only braved the cold but she raved about our beer and liquor choices. Most of our guests are craft beer enthusiasts or enjoy finer spirits, which made for a unique open bar. Lisa had a blast talking to some home brewers in attendance and I always saw her with a smile. She even stayed a bit past her contracted time to continue serving our guests. These guys go above and beyond the call of duty! Even after our event, Kassie emailed us to make sure that everything had gone as planned. They have an amazing team at CWAT!

Catering With A Twist exceeds all expectations!! Their name is on target - their food is amazing and in addition to great food, their package has such flair in set up and presentation. Their attention to detail shows genuine investment and care for the event. Guests talked about several of the food choices for weeks after the event as some of their favorite items they have eaten Kassie met with us at the event location prior to the big day, even though the event was over an hour outside the Austin area. She also worked with us up to the day before making sure every detail was covered. She inquired about the decorating theme and general decor, and did such a wonderful job adding touches through the catering services and display pieces to tie in and enhance the decorating for the reception. The antique furniture and accessories were perfect and the staff was not only attentive to all catering needs, our photographer captured several pics where they also were able to join a dance or two – love that the team who came to help make the day special – joined in the celebration too!! First off. WOW! What creativity CWAT can come up with!! We searched the internet and really enjoyed all of the information Catering provided. We decided to book them knowing they would create brilliance on our big day. While there, we told them that they had full reign on the creativity. The boss appeared from around the corner and thanked US for letting them do what they do best, and we replied with "No thank YOU for being that way!"

During the tasting, we didn't know fully what to expect. We were blown away! There was not one thing we could complain about! (and that's coming from one of the pickiest eater out there)

They really brought something special to our wedding day with all of the decor they provided! I did not see the need for a coffee service, and since we were getting married outside and in the winter, I asked if we could do something like a hot chocolate bar! They said OF COURSE! It was such a hit and it helped everyone stay warm while waiting and watching us get married.

They are a group of people that will forever be in our hearts and we will keep up with them! I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know that is getting married!

We loved Catering with a Twist from the beginning. When we began looking for caterers, we tried to find one that was a little bit different from the rest. We wanted someone who could cook our kind of food with their kind of flair. Kassie came to the rescue. Her and her team provided an amazing tasting that blew us out of the water. I watch all of the wedding shows on TV, and it's rare that people compliment the dinner at weddings. We had sooo many of our guests come up to us throughout the night and rave about the food! Kassie and her team were amazing from the very first phone call, countless emails back and forth, and the final product the night of the wedding. It was outstanding, and we weren't the only ones that thought so! They even packed us a container of every option of food they served during cocktail hour and dinner in travel bag when we left the reception to eat back at the hotel room! From all of the dancing and partying, we were starving and SOOO thankful we had that to pig out on! When I first began planning my wedding, one of my biggest frustrations was with trying to find a caterer. I was planning a wedding for a Saturday night, so many of the caterers I researched had a completely unreasonable catering minimum. I stressed. I yanked my hair out. I considered getting married in Vegas instead. Enter Kassie of CWAT. Within minutes of meeting with her, I knew she was somebody that I would like to work with - just a total sweetheart and a really cool lady. Then she started bringing food out to my then-fiance and I and we knew we had found our caterer. Our menu was just fun! I'm talking chicken & waffle bites, meatloaf cupcakes, salads with grilled peaches, stuffed pork loin with bacon gravy, and some ridiculously good mac and cheese. And those are just the highlights! Everyone raved about how good the food was, and I have finicky friends. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was flawless as well. The staff was attentive, but not obtrusive at all. They dressed to match our theme, which I thought was really great! Also, since I had a "vintage/rustic" theme going on, the mismatched antique china really helped tie everything together. And I used a ton of mason jars in my decor, so when Kassie told me she could serve our tea and water in mason jars instead of goblets, I was pleased as punch! And remember how I mentioned I was on a tight budget? We were able to afford a full seated dinner with two entrees, two sides, a salad course, bread, and passed appetizers and still have room left over to upgrade our service to the mismatched antique plates. Their pricing is downright SANE, and if you've looked around at caterers much, I probably don't need to tell you what a rarity that is. Throughout the planning, the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the wedding itself, Kassie and her staff were WONDERFUL to work with, going above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was awesome. And it totally was. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We hired Catering With a Twist for our wedding reception and they were WONDERFUL! Kassie was so great to work with and everyone raved about the food. We lived out of state, so we were unable to do a food tasting prior to the wedding - we told CWAT sort of what we wanted and then put our blind faith in them that everything would turn out okay. Best gamble we made: they FAR exceeded our every expectation! The food was amazing, the catering staff was very professional and friendly, and they made sure my husband and I had MORE than enough to eat during the night.

Catering with a Twist went above and beyond in every aspect of making our day perfect. They were very responsive & accommodating working with us closely on every detail throughout the process. The owner truly cared and wanted to make sure we were happy with all of decisions we were making. On our big day the staff was ready to serve and there was not one moment we were in need of something. Beyond the service, the food and presentation were something out of a magazine. We could not have asked for a more perfect outcome. We highly recommend meeting with this unique caterer for any occasion.

Hands down, the greatest catering I've ever had or seen or been in the same building with. I'm a fat kid, so I love me some food. The most important and memorable weddings, to me, are the dress, the overall experience, and the food. CWaT worked with my budget to get us the exact meal and meal timing we wanted at our wedding, their communication was thorough and clear, the service package we got was the exact level of comprehensive we needed, the food itself had me nearly in tears, and it all fit with our style perfectly. On top of all of this, the staff was dancing in the kitchen to our DJ's music after dinner was over (I was in there converting my dress for the reception), which says to me that they all truly love what they're doing. If you are looking for amazing food with personality, if you need to feed people in style, if you, like me, had no idea what you were doing going into your wedding food, or if you know exactly what you want and you want someone to "get your vision" as the phrase goes, Catering With a Twist should absolutely be your first and only stop. If I could have them just cater the party that is my life, I would be the happiest and best fed person you could ever hope to meet. I'm going to make all my friends use them so I can keep eating the food.

WOW!!!! I could not have been more pleased with CWT, who catered my son and his bride's wedding last weekend!!! Kassie was amazingly creative and easy to work with -- while at the same time giving expert and professional advice. The bar and serving staff on the day of the wedding were superb -- friendly, fun, and professional!!! The food was excellent -- fresh and well prepared!! The table settings and food displays were lovely!!! The team paid perfect attention to the wedding time line, having the champagne poured into glasses at precisely the right time for the evening's speeches and toasts. I truly could not have asked for more -- great job, Kassie and crew!!!!!

Catering With a Twist created the most perfect dinner for the guests at our wedding reception. They were very cooperative, making adjustments to help us afford a great meal and working with our dietary needs along the way. Their basic packages are awesome, but Catering With a Twist was also willing to work with us to create a meal that was true to our taste palette. I loved the meatless meatloaf, as a vegetarian bride, and their scrumptious dishes satisfied all of our guests. The atmosphere and professionalism that the crew provided on the day of the wedding was exactly the kind of good vibrations that any bride would want to work with on her big day. What a great team!

Catering with a Twist was amazing! From the planning process to the day of, everyone was so nice and attentive. Kassie is very professional and very creative. She had so many fun ideas that she incorporated into her service to match my theme. She even contacted my florist to see what flowers he was using! The stations that they set up for food really seemed to be part of the decor and not just white linen tables with food trays.
And all of the servers were happy and friendly. You could tell that they were having a good time and loved what they were doing.
And the food was amazing! Everything tasted so great and I got compliments all night on how delicious everything was.
Kassie and her team did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend them for any event you catered.

The staff was awesome. Catering with a twist was very willing to work with us on choosing the best options for our budget. The food was amazing....we received so many compliments about the appetizers and the main dish(which stayed hot and did not get cold while serving). They decorated their tables to match the colors of the wedding which I thought was great because it fit so well with the decor.

Catering with a Twist is AMAZING!!!!
They made everything so easy. We set up a tasting with them and emailed the menu of what we would like to try. The food was outstanding! One of their Chefs came out and went over the foods and explained some options. We finalized our menu and decided on all the details. Their options were awesome.
At our reception the food was unbelievable! Oh my goodness, I wish they could cook for me everyday at home! The staff was phenomenal! They were so professional, friendly, and at tentative to details.
The best part.....they packed us a to go dinner in a very cool reusable grocery bag with their logo on it. So when me and my hubby arrived to our honeymoon destination we were able to enjoy their fabulous meal again!
I am so looking forward to using Catering with a Twist again for future events!
You have to use their services! This will be one less thing you will have to stress about, trust me.

First of all, you won't find a better, more diligent or productive email correspondant than Kassie from Catering With a Twist. From the moment my fiancee and I chose them to cater our wedding reception on 11/4/11, she proved to be incredibly helpful and amenable. We made numerous changes along the way as our wedding budget and plan for the feel of our reception evolved, but never at any point was Kassie anything less than understanding, patient and extremely accommodating. You won't feel as though you're alone in the planning stages of your big day, or like you are being a bother by asking questions as they inevitably arise.

CWAT has a wide array of menu options to fit any price range, from informal to elegant with different levels of place settings to match, so you can really personalize your event based on taste and budget.
We chose the Tuscan Romance menu, which featured an antipasto display of cured meats, breads, dried fruits, etc., caesar salad, four cheese manicotti and trout with rosemary and white beans. Everything was delicious! Shortly after my wife and I made our official entrance at the reception, a Catering With a Twist staff member rushed over full plates of food for us to immediately begin enjoying. Which we definitely did! Very prompt service.

Also, to save a little money we opted to supply beer and wine for the reception ourselves, and needed a TABC-certified bartending staff which Catering With a Twist made available. I would be remiss not to mention how incredibly courteous and complimentary they were the entire night. Our guests couldn't stop telling us how great they were.

Nothing but the best to say about Catering With a Twist. So very highly recommended.

We had heard of Catering with a Twist from a local wedding website and we could not have been happier to stumble upon Kassie and her team. My husband and I were looking for upscale bbq and Kassie and her team nailed it. The antique china was the cherry on top and many people commented on our place settings at the wedding. Kassie and her team did such a great job! The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests about it. They were very professional and their service was exceptional. Our venue was rather small considering the number of guests we had and so we had to get creative with seating and where we were going to put the buffet. I booked few tastings with catering companies and started with Catering with a Twist, as they were one of the preferred vendors from my wedding venue. Once my partner and I tried their food, we called off the other 2 tastings. We knew they couldn’t beat the chicken and waffles we had from CWAT! Needless to say, we hired them for our brunch wedding!
In general, Kassie was very flexible and accommodating with our menu requests, the staff was very experienced and easy going, and our guests loved the food so much that we didn’t have as many leftovers as we’d hoped for. All and all highly recommended!

Kassie and her team were incredible. I was an out of state bride and they made it easy for me to plan from far away. They were great to work with, very accomodating and fun! We were left in a bit of a bind when our original all-vegan caterer told us she would be closing up shop and moving to Hawaii. My husband has been vegan for over 15 years, and one of my bridesmaids is gluten free.

With those requirements we thought it would be difficult to find another caterer. And initially the proposals we received from elsewhere were rather underwhelming. We didn’t want to make a tradeoff between flavor/taste and our requirements (and cost was important too, some places will try and charge you extra for special dietary requirements, but not having meat should things less expensive!).

But CWAT was a different story. We felt like they embraced these restrictions as a challenge and came up with an imaginative proposal based on different world cuisines for each buffet table. The gluten free foods (there were ample options) would be clearly marked.

The taste test we did was superb. The (little) food we got to eat at the wedding matched it.

The staff was friendly and fun. We had told our DJ to avoid songs with specific dance steps. But then my mom had to go and ask for Thriller. None of us had any idea how to dance it, but one of the staff joined us on the dance floor and I got an impromptu Thriller tutorial.

Great food and great people who really seem to be passionate about their work. I highly recommend them.

I worked with both Kassie and Lacy from the CWAT team. I can't say enough about them as people - they were super friendly and wonderful to work with. I even met with Lacy a couple of times prior to the event and she listened to all of my ideas and they magically came to life on my wedding day. It was amazing! The food was delicious and even some of the toughest food critics at the wedding loved it. We had dips, chips and fruit skewers for cocktail hour (the buffalo chicken dip was INCREDIBLE) and build your own pulled pork and beef sliders with salad and homemade chips. It was a fun, casual and customizable meal that I think everyone enjoyed!

The only complaints I have are these (and they are fairly minor) - 1) Originally I had wanted the plates at the stations, but then later changed my mind and decided that I wanted the tables set. I reminded them a couple of times about this (even again less than a week prior to the event). When I came downstairs, minutes before walking down the aisle, much to my disappointment, the tables were bare except for the centerpieces. It wouldn't have mattered except that my mom and I had spent hours wrapping and tying silverware just so that the table could be set. Luckily, my coordinator was able to talk to them and by the time the ceremony was over, they were working hard to get the tables set in time for dinner. A minor oversight that they fixed as quickly as they could. 2) After meeting with Lacy at the venue for a walk through and set up discussion, I was under the impression that there would be 4 lines for guests to get their food. At the actual wedding, there were only 2 lines and I felt as though it took too long for everyone to be served and seated. 2 lines for 160 people customizing their plate was just not enough. 3) I paid for kid's meals and the kid's were not given them.

Overall, my experience with CWAT was great and I would recommend them! Every wedding has things that don't go 100% as planned!

Catering with a Twist blew us out of the water! From day one, they communicated so effortlessly with us, ensuring that our special day would be exactly what we envisioned. My husband and I were planning our Texas Hill Country wedding from Connecticut, so having a vendor understand us and what we were hoping for is exactly what we need and exactly what Catering with a Twist delivered.

Kassie and her Team at CWAT incorporated awesome presentation into our reception- adding a shabby-chic, rustic charm to each food station, beverage station and dessert spread.

The most important thing- the food. My husband and I love food, so this was the most important part of our wedding (other than the ceremony of course) and it was better than we envisioned. The staff even went out of their way to give extra attention to our guests throughout the night as well as us- we were so busy with photos during the cocktail hour, but the staff made sure we got to have a sample of all of the passed apps during dinner so we didn't miss out.

Everything was awesome, creative and unique- the price is fair and reasonable, especially for what you are getting and it is worth working with this team. We really appreciate everything they did for us to make our Big Day so special!

Kassie and the entire Catering with a Twist team was fantastic. We used them for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. The one thing I wanted at the wedding was good food after attending many weddings where the food was atrocious. Catering with a Twist certainly delivered awesome food and made the entire process easy. For the rehearsal they came to the house we rented and took care of everything. Kassie was great with communication and we were able to make several changes of our menu over the course of a year without any problem. I recommend them for any event you may consider them for in the future.

When we were planning our wedding my (now) husband and I decided that food and drink was top of the list. Kassie, the boss lady, and her team was perfection! They executed the entire evening without a single hiccup. The blackberry bourbon lemonade, our signature cocktail, was the perfect concoction! Passed apps for Cocktail Hour were delicious and ever coming. We never once wanted for anything. Food received RAVE reviews and her staff was beyond professional! Of notable mention: during cocktail hour, when I was pulled away for more pictures, I asked one of the servers to save me a bacon wrapped scallop. She bee-lined to me with a full tray before anyone else could steal one. HOW AMAZING! I will be using this Woman Owned company again in the future! Cheers.

Cassie, the owner, was great to work with. I had hundreds of questions and she was always quick to answer them - which is always great when you're in "planning mode" and just want to know!

The thing that drew me to CWAT was it's unique food display options and the variety of packages - which can really help pull the theme of your wedding together. Ours was rustic and Cassie made sure to take a look at our Pinterest board and asked a ton of questions about the decorations and theme we were going for to ensure all food displays fit into the wedding.

The food was really good too. We had a variety of cuisines via stations so there were a lot of different elements to prepare. My only complaint was that the food was slightly warm rather than hot but again, that's something to consider when catering an event and a difficult feat to achieve for any cater.

During out tasting we missed out on tasting the falafel (to us, an important element of one of the stations) so Cassie made sure to have the falafel specially prepared for us prior to the wedding so we could taste it. This out of the normal gesture really showed CWAT's customer service! And as for the falafel, it was a hit and one of the items our guests marked as their favorite of the night.

Cassie's staff was also wonderful to have at the event. Everyone was friendly, smiling and attentive. You can tell Cassie takes special care in picking her employees and values them as family. We also had CWAT bartend our wedding and the special little touches at the bar such as the mixed nuts really shows that CWAT pays attention to detail!

I want to begin by saying that we were very happy with Catering with a Twist who not only did our food, but was also responsible for coordinating and set up. Kassie Purpura is totally awesome. She worked with us through multiple menu changes and lots of questions. We thought the food turned out amazing! We especially received compliments about the late night popcorn. The total guest count was around 185, so needless to say, they handled a lot for us.

But, like any big wedding, not everything turned out perfectly. About a week before the wedding, I was told that the day of coordinator who sat through our two hour wedding meeting was unable to do the wedding. These things happen, but the new coordinator had to work off someone else's notes. That made for a lot of last minute questions and uncertainties. For the dinner, we had "family style" and the food was brought out one dish at a time (mashed potatoes alone, vegetables alone, entrees alone). That was probably my biggest complaint. And was mentioned by many of our guests.

Overall we were more than happy with our choice. If we had to sum it up in one sentence: The food was fantastic, but our experience with CWAT was far from perfect.

Great during planning but as for the actual event, their performance was lacking. Not enough staff on hand, unorganized and the service provided was not as stated in the contract.

Disappointing

I would CAUTION any bride/groom or organizer who is considering using Catering with a Twist for an event. My fiance and I enjoyed working with them in the beginning - they were friendly, helpful and responsive. But when the pandemic hit, that changed. We understand that the world is in a peculiar place right now with the COVID-19 pandemic and companies are struggling, but at the end of the day you hope people will do the right thing, SADLY Catering with a Twist did NOT. Our destination wedding was to be in November 2020 in Dripping Springs, Texas (we live in Northern California). As nurses working in the frontlines of the pandemic, we had the foresight to reach out to our venue in May 2020 to postpone our wedding to 2021. Again a blemish on the humanity of people, our wedding venue was unwilling to move our wedding to 2021 without an additional 50% of our original venue cost, totalling an extra $13,000. We can't afford that, so we were forced to cancel our wedding at that venue, losing our deposit of $13,000. We do not live in Texas and will not be getting married in Texas. I reached out to our caterer Catering with a Twist to ask for a refund on our initial nonrefundable deposit of $900 because of our unfortunate situation, already having suffered enough emotional and financial loss. Kassie Pupura the owner responded with, "we are staying strict to our Contract for any cancellations. We are able to be flexible with reschedules and new bookings." I again responded reiterating our situation and our disappointment with Catering with a Twist being unable to make an exception. In her response she apologized for "a situation that is outside of all our control". That was like rubbing salt in the wound. Yes, the pandemic is out of our control, but the way we respond and work with other human beings IS within our control. They were unwilling to work with us in finding a middle ground and that is what is disappointing. At the end of the day this company is looking out for only them and not their client, so BE WARY!
We hope no couple has had to/ or will ever have to go through this devastation of having your wedding derailed by whatever is going on in the world and then being out over $14,000 for what was supposed to be your special day and now leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth.
