Rich and his team exemplify excellence. From our first meeting with Rich, it was evident he puts in ample care and passion into everything that he does - from the planning to the execution and the follow-up afterwards. Rich was incredibly kind to us, answering our questions diligently and always providing detailed responses to the myriad of questions we had leading up to our day.
The food quality was fantastic, and reasonably priced. We didn't feel that we were breaking the bank yet we still received delicious meals. Our guests made several compliments to us about the food selection all night - not something you always hear at weddings!
A few days before the wedding, we had a slight hiccup with our final payment. Rich was caring, understanding, supportive - and above all - incredibly patient in resolving the issue. We truly cannot thank Rich and his staff enough for their dedication and support. They all defied our expectations and our day would not have been as perfect without them! -

Rich was the best! He always gave fast responses and he helped us stay within our budget! Also, I love how he lets you do a taste test for the food because that really made a difference! The food was amazing and fresh! All the guest could not stop talking about it. Catering by Rich made the whole process easy and non-stressful! -

We used Catering by Rich for our 223 person wedding and it was incredible!! We did our tasting at Rich's house and all of the food is homemade and absolutely delicious! For our wedding day Rich's team set up the tables, chairs and linens. They ran the buffet smoothy and all of our guests complimented the food. The staff made sure we food during the cocktail hour, our dinner first and always made sure we had water throughout the night!
We had many guests come from out of town and they LOVED the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls appetizer. Rich was able to accommodate our gluten free guests as well and vegan. All of the food was incredible! At the end of the night, his team cleaned up everything and broke down the chairs and tables. They were so great! -

Highly recommend!
I can't recommend Rich and his staff enough! He is easy to work with, reasonably priced, and makes amazing food! He was able to accommodate all of our different dietary restrictions. His staff is professional and friendly. Everyone raved about his food at my wedding! We specifically did butlered appetizers of mini crab cakes, mini cheesesteaks, Asian ginger meatballs, veggie spring rolls, fruit tray and charcuterie board. For dinner, we chose the Tuscan pasta, Cajun pork, Tuscan chicken, California salad, whipped potatoes and green beans almondine. Highly recommend! -

From the first communication to the end of the bridal shower clean up, I was thoroughly impressed and pleased by Catering by Rich! The flexibility of the menu planning, the amazing choices offered, and the coordination of rentals with Buxmont Party Rentals was second to none! The staff were friendly, professional and punctual. They did a terrific job running the buffet and setting up of the tables, linens, and food. They were present, and checked in seeing to our needs. The food was amazing, we received so many compliments on the choices, and we were also able to accommodate our gluten- free guests as well. Catering by Rich staff also served the desserts we brought. At the end of the event, the staff cleaned up and broke down the linens, tables and chairs. They then packed up the rest of the food, and cut and bagged the remainder of the cake for our guests to take home. It was a 10 out of 10 performance for Catering by Rich and Buxmont Party Rentals and the Sand Castle Winery !! I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a caterer who can go the distance on doing an excellent job!! -

We hired Rich for our May 6th wedding and he did not disappoint!! We did a buffet and everyone had full plates and full happy stomachs! The food is excellent and extremely reasonable. Rich's staff also helped with setting up our tables and and break down, and putting out our desserts that we bought separately. Everything ran so smoothly thanks for Rich and his team! -

Rich and the rest of his team are the best! As a coordinator, I worked with Rich this past month and was beyond impressed. Rich was so personable, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding and on the day of. The food was delicious!! Not to mention him and his team all worked together seamlessly with other staff, and were so helpful for setup and other needed help throughout the day. You absolutely want to hire them for your wedding day (or other events) if you want a team that knows what they're doing, makes amazing food, and are so courteous and friendly throughout the process to vendors, our clients, and even guests! -

If you are in a time crunch, nervous in any way about the quality of food; rich is your man! I cannot express how grateful we were to find him! the food was delicious, all our guests loved it, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg! We exchanged dozens of emails to make sure everything was perfect and Rich always had an answer for me.
His staff working your event make everything seamless and painless! They set up and tore down for us and made sure that we, the wedding couple were well taken care of. We have an 18 month old who was with us and fell asleep on my mothers lap minutes before dinner. Even though we were having a buffet they made sure to come to her, find out what she wanted and bring her a plate of food and even made sure our daughter had food when she finally woke. You just don’t see that kind of above and beyond service anymore! Highly recommend!! -

Working with Rich was a total dream because everything was easy. Rich is super communicative and had great ideas and suggestions for the handful of people who had dietary restrictions. Not to mention, the food was absolutely delicious!!! For reference, our meals were the filet mignon, chicken parmesan and vegetable lasagna. Everyone raved about the food. He and his staff were professional and just a joy to work with. I can't recommend him enough!! -

The food at our wedding was delicious (especially those spring roll appetizers!), and working with Rich was a great experience. He always answered our questions and gave helpful advice as well. Our guests have been saying how great the staff were on the wedding day, and we couldn't agree more! Megan in particular helped make everything run smoothly. They even brought appetizers and signature cocktails for my husband and me during our private cocktail hour, and kept checking on us throughout the evening. They also made clean-up go by easily. Highly recommend! -

My husband and I got married October 2021 and were beyond happy with Rich and his catering team. They were affordable enough to have the wedding we dreamed of, were so professional, and provided quality food. Rich was flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. Special shout out to Scott who was in charge of the catering staff the day of the wedding. They really made the day run smooth - I would've been lost without them. Rich came highly recommended by our venue, Graeme Park. They all love working with him, and had nothing but positive things to say. We checked out his menu, the food sounded great and the prices were amazing! My husband went to the tasting with my mom and step mom, and said that he couldn't have been nicer and more professional! Our wedding day food was a hit and everyone talking. Best of all, his team of servers and bartenders were all so sweet and kind. My husband and I are both ex-bartenders, and about half of our guests and parents were all in the business as well. Everyone raved over how well they were taken care of. My daughter got married 9/18/2021 and has it catered by Rich. I have had so many compliments on the food and staff. The bacon wrapped shrimp and crab cakes were to die for. Being mother of the bride, I was only able to taste those 2 appetizers, I could have eaten them the entire day.
The staff and servers were so nice and helpful, always had a smile on their faces. They packed up the table decorations at the end of the night. I honestly was not expecting that. So it was a nice surprise when we went back to the venue the next day to find it was already done. And when your guests compliment you on how nice and great the staff and food was, then you know it was a success. -

We found Rich on the website of a venue we did NOT end up going with but his reviews were so great we decided to go for a tasting. Once we tasted his food we knew we couldn't go with ANYONE else. We had cilantro lime chicken with mango salsa, chicken pesto penne and steak stir-fry and everyone raved about our food. Rich offers the best prices I saw when researching caterers and he was very transparent about what expenses he thought were worth the investment and which were not. The passed appetizers were AMAZING. Honestly, my husband and I just wish we could order take out from him on a regular basis because his food is delicious.

Rich and his team were absolutely amazing. So easy to work with, so helpful. The food was delicious! We got so many comments on how good the food was at our reception. And you cannot, will not find anyone with better pricing. 10/10. Go with Rich. -

Rich and his team catered our wedding on May 23rd, 2021 and I can say he impacted more than just the catering. Due to the pandemic, we thought we had to give up our original venue of Graeme Park because we were not confident about meeting the minimum guest limit at the time, though Rich managed to help us secure a lower minimum guest count and the entire wedding day changed for the better due to this.
Rich was always kind and professional when communicating with us in setting up the details for the wedding. He included a tasting that we thoroughly enjoyed and made us feel confident in our choice of going with Rich as our caterer.
When it comes to the food, Rich is the best at selecting the highest quality ingredients and cooks them to perfection. His staff was incredibly nice to all the guests and extremely professional. Many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and many went back for seconds! They also were extremely considerate and came to the bridal tent to ask us (the bride and groom) if we wanted anything from cocktail hour as we were getting ready for entrances.
Rich and his staff were very accommodating to any dietary restrictions such as our celiac guests, and he connected us with Bert Gottbrecht, who did an excellent job gathering all the supplies we needed for a full bar.
We feel extremely grateful to Rich and his staff for catering our wedding and recommend them highly to anyone looking for a catering company in the Bucks County area! -

We went with Rich because our venue had been using him for their events for the last few years and we knew why! First and foremost, Rich's food was delicious. Our guests were raving about how tasty all the dishes were. We did a buffet-style so that our guests could get seconds if they'd like and a large percentage of them did. Second, Rich was great at communicating and making sure that we'd have the right amount of server staffing for our amount of guests. He clearly let us know what he needed from us and was often just a quick email away to answer any questions. The servers were so professional throughout the reception and set-up and tore down our reception with amazing efficiency. Lastly, Rich was extremely affordable and not pushy in trying to upsell us. He even gave us recommendations on things we can provide ourselves to save some costs with him. I would highly recommend Rich for your wedding or event. -

Rich was a lifesaver. We had no idea how we were going to afford the wedding of our dreams, but Rich made it happen! He actually stayed in our budget and helped us pick the most delicious food. We got so many compliments on everything. The servers were amazing on the day of, and they always made sure things were running smoothly. It is rare to find a caterer who is so upfront about the cost, and who actually wants to fit everything into your budget. If you are looking for delicious food that doesn't break the bank, Rich is the guy for you. -

Then between our tasting and the wedding, we hashed out our details. Communication was a bit slow for our preference, but the end result came together perfectly. Rich's staff was very kind and his maître d' was great! Rich was also very accommodating for special request dishes for some guests who were vegan. -

I never planned a wedding so I had no idea how things were done. He never tried to spend my money or overcharge us for things. He told me what I needed and what I didn't need. Our wedding day was truly amazing because of him. His courteous staff and bartenders did a top notch job and the food was delicious. My guests are still talking about it. His prices can't be beat and he is so professional. Weddings are so expensive but if you use Rich he can work with any budget. You can't go wrong with Rich. -

My father has served as the manager for numerous major food chains for over 20 years and all of my family appreciates and recognizes when hard work and service come together to create an excellent dining experience.
I would also like to note that my venue has had problems with other caterers in the past but when they heard we chose Catering by Rich, they too had nothing but great things to say.
I am so glad we chose Catering by Rich for our wedding this past Friday. This guy knows what he's doing and does it EXCEEDINGLY WELL. From the tons of food choices at amazing cost, the welcoming tasting experience in his own home, the fact that he also handles a variety of other event rentals (linens, flatware, etc), the amazing taste of all of the food (I continue to receive compliments every day), and the knowledgeable and friendly crew that worked the event along with Rich--I could not have been happier!
I would absolutely recommend Catering by Rich for your wedding or event! -

Our daughter wanted her wedding to be the "wedding of the century" and our goal was to make that happen.
We are a family of "foodies". My husband and I have owned restaurants, my brother is a professional chef of 20+ years and our son just graduated from Culinary School. So the catered food for the wedding had to be "perfect".
My daughter raved when she initially met with Rich for sampling. She was extremely pleased with the quality and taste. The Catering by Rich menu is extensive as to the many entrees, salads and side dishes, she actually had a hard time deciding on what would be her final menu because everything she sampled was so good!
Rich is an excellent communicator - from the time we initially contacted him about the wedding date, right down to the day before the wedding, he made sure to send emails and call to finalize the menu, head count, details, etc. He gave me peace of mind knowing that we were in professional, capable hands.
In addition to catering the food, Rich's services included serving staff and bartenders. He also provided portable, full service bars (complete with bottle racks, ice bins, storage, etc).
Upon arriving, his staff immediately went to work, setting up the buffet area and the bars. They were quick and unobtrusive, as the reception location was also the wedding location, and they arrived right around the time the ceremony was being held. None of the guests could hear them setting up in the kitchen and serving area.
The bartenders handled the 120 guests smoothly during cocktail hour, through dinner and the reception. Beer, wine, mixed drinks and cocktails were served. They did a super job!
Now, about the food - it was DELICIOUS! All the guests commented on how great it was. And were rather impressed that the salads were cold and the hot food was hot. (which doesn't always happen with buffet style dinner and the fact that one of the ovens at the venue kitchen was not working properly).
Rich's staff moved the guests through the buffet line quickly, personally serving the on the line vs having the guests trying to wrangle plates while trying to self-serve. The chafing dishes were never empty as the staff quickly refilled before the last chicken, beef, etc was gone.
So, great bartenders, excellent serving staff and wonderful food - but, there is more!
Rich's prices are amazingly affordable. I mean, RIDICULOUSLY affordable. And the food and staff are unbelievably good. Every penny spent was well worth it and . . .there is even more!
Rich and his staff the baker helped plate the cake and the ice cream. Something that they had not contracted to do, but volunteered to help in order to make the dessert line run smoothly. That was a very nice, generous thing for Rich to do.
His staff left the kitchen area spotless, cleaning as they went from arrival to departure.
They certainly went above and beyond our expectations! And, I would recommend Rich's Catering for any special event, and especially for a wedding venue.
Rich's competence, chef skills, wonderful, organizational skills and business savvy will put your mind at ease and let you concentrate on your wedding or special event without having to worry about the food and staff.
If our son ever gets married, you bet that Rich will be catering the Rehearsal Dinner!
Thank you Rich and your staff for indeed, making Ashley and Eric's wedding, the "wedding of the century".
