Creating our wedding with the Santa Catalina Island Company was a very positive experience. Dee Dee and the rest of the staff were exceptional all the way through. The quality of service was exceptional along with responsiveness, professionalism and flexibility. They provided us with a list of reputable and professional florists, officiants, photographers, DJ's and cake makers who are familiar with the island as well. I felt that Dee Dee and the rest went above and beyond and were extremly personable throughout the whole experience and made us feel like we were the only ones in the world getting married! We would highly recommend any couple to have their wedding on Catalina Island with the Catalina Island Company. Friends and family tell us that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too and how beautiful the night went!

My husband Steve adn I have nothing but excellent things to say about Dee Dee and the entire staff of Catalina Country Club Restaurant. They were completely professional and enabled us to relax and enjoy the day. The food was excellent! SO many of our wedding guests still talk about what a great time they had at our wedding...Thanks Dee Dee!

planning a destination is very hard, but meghan the event coordinator for the venue is fantastic and helping you find all sorts of things on the island. Food was delicious even for a buffet style. Tasting preview is informative and fun. The casino ballroom is any couple's dream venue, with stunning views of the pacific ocean, in a historic art deco building.

My husband and I thank the Santa Catalina Island Company sincerely for helping us to pull off what we consider a perfect wedding! We were thrilled with everything. Everything. The food was outstanding, the setting was perfect (not just the lawn and stage and beach, but the tables and chairs and linens and bars and the service), the sound, the ceremony... it was all seamless and easy. We couldn't be more pleased. All of our guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly, as did we. In fact, three weeks later, we're still getting emails and phone calls about how good ALL of the food was, and how elegant and personal our ceremony and reception were.

We were 100% satisfied with our wedding reception at Descanco Beach Club on Catalina Island. The location was beautiful and everyone involved in the planning was very helpful. The food was exceptional and many of our guests made comments about how great it was afterwards.

We booked our wedding with SCIS in January 08 (highly recommended to book early) and from the beginning the reps that we dealt with through out the process were the best. Ultimately, our events (they handled our welcome reception as well) were flawless. The staff were super friendly, very helpful with recommendations and took care of every detail. Our guests have had nothing to comment on but the fantasticness of the whole experience. We think that the already marrieds are a bit jealous they didn't have their wedding there ;)
I highly recommend their Descanso Beach location to anyone!

Overall I am very happy with the quality and service of Catalina Island Resort Services. The only problems I had were being asked the same questions over and over again, and The days schedule of events was sent to me, but at the event the schedule she had was not the updated one. I felt I had to constantly repeat myself! The food was excellent, and my cake was assembled perfectly. We had a wonderful day
