Small COVID Ceremony & Big Reception

When my husband and I originally started planning our July 2020 wedding, we met with two photographers. One was very inexpensive, and going into our first meeting with Carrie, we couldn't see how we'd change our minds and spend the extra money to hire her and Dan. Within 5 minutes of sitting down with Carrie, we knew there was no chance we would do our wedding day without her. We felt very at ease and very much like fast friends. She is absolutely incredible at what she does, and she really cares about who she works with and makes sure that everything is exactly how you want it. We ended up postponing our wedding celebration and Carrie photographed our small ceremony in 2020 (the pictures are wonderful), and family picnic in 2021 (which we are so excited to see). You will not regret booking Carrie to capture such an important life event!

A virtual wedding to never forget

Carrie was recommended via a friend in the events industry based off her professionalism and quality. She exceeded expectations. She was on-site early with all preparations taken care of. Trusting her to set up and "let her do her thing" was one of the best decisions of our wedding. She was flexible and resourceful with our follow-up shoot pending good weather, another terrific suggestion from her. Don't hesitate to entrust Carrie with cataloguing your memories and shared journey for your event.

Professional, Personable, Perfect Photos

We used Carrie for our wedding in October 2020. From the first time we met her, we knew we picked a great photographer. Carrie is very personable and really tried to get to know us as a couple. Prior to the event she was very responsive and helped keep us calm and feel confident in our decisions. Although we had to change plans due to the pandemic, Carrie was able to adapt easily and make sure that we would be all set. At the event her, and her second photographer (I'm sorry I forgot his name) were very professional and did a great job to get great photos at both our first look and wedding location.

As it is often said, out of all aspects of the wedding, the photographs will be the one thing that will last forever. You will not be disappointed by choosing Carrie.

When a wedding DJ hires a photographer.

Having worked for 30 years as a wedding DJ, I've seen thousands of photographers. My wife put me in charge of getting a photographer for our wedding. I have known and worked with Carrie Dragi and Dan Roggi for over 20 years. We have done hundreds of weddings together and have seen how they work with their clients. They were my choice when it came to our wedding. My wife Betty has never seen Carrie and Dan work before. Within an hour, they were best friends. The helped us navigate personal, family and group pictures flawlessly and also help keep on time and through all the special events. Their service went beyond the expectations that even I expected. They seemed to just be there every time we needed a picture and even when I didn't think of it. We absolutely love the picture we received from them so far and are looking forward to rest of them. Betty and I can't thank both of them enough for everything they did for us on our wedding day. I can't recommend them enough!!!

Professionalism meets relaxation and fun with Carrie Draghi Photography !

Carrie was great from our first meeting after my fiancé and I got engaged. She was so warm and friendly. She went above and beyond helping us piece together the details of our dream autumn wedding at Saint Clements Castle. We honestly felt like we could go to her with any question along the way. That right there is amazing, since there are so many logistics to that day. Especially, if you have multiple locations besides the wedding venue to photograph at , like we did. We had a hotel, pre -ceremony location , church ceremony and venue to line up a timeline with for the big day since we weren’t doing a first look. It went flawless ! And we had 14 kids in our wedding party. Ages ranged from 13 months to 16 years old ( lots of nieces and nephews ) Carrie and Dan worked their magic with them and we were able to get them all photographed before the wedding ceremony even started. They made me feel at such ease the morning of, getting ready. We really had a lot of fun working with them the whole day. They worked perfectly with all of our personalities and it was a huge wedding party. I will be using Carrie for all my photograph needs in the future. Hopefully a maternity shoot soon :-)

Best Experience Ever!

I have had the honor of watching Carrie photograph hundreds of weddings, and because of that I knew the second I got engaged, she would be the first vendor we would hire! That is exactly what happened. We had Carrie shoot our engagement photos and our wedding day and I cannot begin to say how incredible our experience was. We were able to meet with her throughout the planning process and ask any questions we had at any time. There was always an appreciated honest answer! We had a tough family situation that we were stressing about the entire time and she TRULY eased the entire thing and made us feel SO relaxed! On the day of our entire family and party loved her, as we knew they would. She was fun and connected with every single one of them. They all can't stop raving at how awesome she was. As promised, about 7 weeks after the wedding we received our photos and they are AMAZING. I truly cannot explain how incredible they came out. She captured our vision so perfectly and we could not be more thankful! We are so excited to have her print out some for us to hang in our home and we are super excited to start planning our album, we know it is going to be a true treasured item. If you are in need of a photographer, seriously look no further, there is not a single person I would recommend other than Carrie! Also, I cannot remember the name of her second shooter, but he was AMAZING too! So much fun, took INCREDIBLE photos and totally connected with the guys, getting their true expressions all throughout the day!

Wonderful!!

If you are looking for someone who is easy to work with, laid back yet detail oriented, fun, professional and an all around nice person, look no further and hire Carrie. My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera and Carrie made the whole experience fun and easy. She took the lead and I can’t wait to get out pictures back! And I can’t say enough nice things about Dan as well! They make a fantastic team!!

Wedding photography

Carrie and Dan braved 95 degree heat and humidity to capture my outdoor June 2nd wedding without a single complaint. Our photos are stunning, natural, and exactly how I remember that wonderful day. We loved working with Carrie, she is a true professional!

Destination Wedding Experts

Excellent wedding photographer power couple! We got married at an all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The reviews and experiences from the photographer on site there were not great to say the least. We found Carrie at the local CT Wedding Expo, and it was a match right from the start. Her and her husband traveled to Mexico with us, and caught literally every moment of our wedding. From the wedding rehearsal, to getting ready in the bridal suite, to the guys getting ready in the room, my dad and I having our moment, the ceremony, and the reception on the beach after. All of it was perfect. I will definitely hire her again whenever we have another life event to capture.
P.S> The price we paid included round trip airfare plus hotel for the photographer.
P.S.S> The pictures I up-loaded are only what I had on my phone at the time of writing this review. So many awesome photos, I don’t have enough room to load them all or store on my phone!

Picture perfect day

From the very beginning, Carrie and her staff were absolutely amazing. At the initial meeting I knew Carrie Draghi Photography was the right choice for us. Carrie took the time to walk through our entire wedding day, including a walkthrough of the venue, in advance of the wedding to ensure we were getting all of the right pictures at all the right locations. The end result was nothing short of breathtaking. Most importantly, she made the entire experience fun. Her and her team’s professionalism, preparation and know how made for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Our wedding was at a picturesque venue with a lot of acreage, but that didn’t stop Carrie and her crew from carrying all of their gear tirelessly through the scenic grounds while we were enjoying our romantic ride in a horse drawn carriage in 90 degree heat. Yet at every stop for a picture opportunity, we were greeted with a smile and a witty comment to make us laugh.

Our entire experience with Carrie was nothing short of amazing. When we received the proofs from the wedding, The quality of the images were beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Carrie and her staff and will definitely use her again in the future.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful experience with Carrie Draghi Photography. She went above and beyond our expectations - not only did she capture the essence of our wedding in photos, but she made every effort to help our wedding run smoothly. She paid attention to details like clearing rainwater off a patio herself to keep my dress dry, helped pin on boutonnières, and kept things running in countless other ways, all while capturing beautiful photos of our wedding. If I had to do the whole thing over again, I wouldn’t even consider hiring anyone else. Thank you!

Carrie is, LITERALLY, THE BEST! She made me feel so at ease with everything! You can definitely tell that she has years of experience and know EXACTLY what she is doing! She never leaves you guessing about what you need to get done next. She is not just your photographer, too! She stepped in as such a great help on my wedding day when we found out that my dress had a missing clasp! This woman is literally MAGIC! When my husband and I left that first meeting with her, we were sold! Carrie is not only a great photographer but genuine person who cares and appreciates the time of her clients – who are made to feel more like old friends. The whole experience is really comforting in the stress of wedding planning. She keeps everything focused, but never forgets that half the battle is remembering to have fun during the whole crazy process, offering numerous suggestions for the day-of that would help the day run smoother. We couldn’t begin to even recommend using someone else because she was everything we were hoping for in a photographer. This was the easiest decision made in planning our wedding and we couldn’t be more thankful to her for all she did – including referring us to all of our other vendors who were all excellent. Choosing Carrie is choosing someone who knows how to capture life’s most important moments – and she makes you look great while she does it!

Finding a wedding photographer was one of the most stressful parts of planning our wedding. After meeting Carrie Draghi we immediately felt relieved. Carrie is extremely professional yet easy going. She had a way of making sure we were comfortable with every decision we were making (and there is a lot of them to make). Carrie made sure we stuck to our venues timeline and worked with the other vendors on our wedding day. She was even flexible when I decided to add an additional first look the day of our wedding. When we received our wedding photos we were blown away! Carrie was 10 steps ahead of us and made sure she captured every sentimental moment and detail of our wedding. She made the entire process simple and stress free.
Photography is Carrie's passion but my husband and I believe Carrie truly cares about going above and beyond to deliver for her clients.

Look no further for you photographer! Carrie and her partner in crime Dan are an awesome duo when it comes to making your day the most special day you'll ever experience!
Both of them were able to remain professional and on schedule (even when I, the bride, was late!), yet they couldn't stop putting smiles on all of our faces with their goofiness! They were so accommodating and patient with my family, whom most couldn't speak English; it was so refreshing to see. It helped my nerves tremendously!
I couldn't have asked for anybody else to take pictures of a day that we will never forget - thanks so much for making it unforgettable!

Carrie and Dan were fabulous! They were fun to work with! They had us laughing - took the stress out of trying to get all the family photos in and got us to smile naturally! Choosing Carrie to be our photographer was one of the best decisions we made. From our first meeting we felt comfortable, confident and knew we were in good hands.
Carrie helped us make a timeline for the day of the wedding at our final meeting and this really put us at ease. Not having a wedding planner I wasn’t one hundred percent sure on the timing of certain things like hair and makeup and deliveries for flowers. Carrie advised me on each of these and everything flowed perfectly the day of. She and her partner Dan were very flexible and made sure we were getting all of the pictures we had said we would like and then some!
We had a photo booth for our reception and Carrie surprised us the day of and told us how she matched the theme of our wedding invitations to the border around the photo booth print outs. Every detail was beyond perfect.
Carrie and Dan are the perfect team, they are professional and fun and had us laughing and enjoying every moment. We loved every moment and would definitely work with Carrie and Dan again!

Of all the decisions you need to make while planning your wedding, this will be the easiest. Pick Carrie Draghi - she is worth every penny.

Good pictures start from being at ease and Carrie will definitely put you at ease. Even from the first consultation, she makes you feel like you are the only client and the only one that matters. Her pictures are amazing and every now and then she'll say "Let me try something" - those will be the best pictures.

One thing I was not expecting was for her to help me draw up a timeline for the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and kind of cobbled it all together myself. Carrie, based on all her experience, advised me on getting hair and makeup done earlier (she was right), having the flowers delivered earlier (she was right again - especially since the delivery was running late), and leaving earlier to get to the church. As she said, no bride has ever complained about being too early. I wasn't too early at any stage and her timeline actually prevented me from being late and stressed out.
The second photographer she came with (Dan) was just as great. After meeting him for the first time on the day of the wedding, I was instantly at ease with him in under 5 mins.
I could go on and on but no one will read a super long review.

Bottom line - book Carrie. You won't regret it!

The first time we met Carrie, we found that she was very welcoming and personable. She was amazing to work with during the whole wedding process and thought of every little detail. More importantly she captured every little detail. We couldn’t have been happier with the photos from our wedding (and engagement session). Best of all she was always responsive and extremely timely in finishing our photos and wedding album. We would highly recommend her to anyone for any type of photo shoot. We will definitely be going back to her to capture our future life moments.

I am the mother of the bride. Carrie was wonderful with both sets of parents and families. She jumped in at all levels to solve problems and issues. There was no detail too small or large that she didn't deal with. from threat of hurricane to getting the bustle of the dress just right. She was calming and more importantly fun to work with. I have worked with other photographers at other affairs but none have been as attentive and easy to work with. The pictures were beautiful, making it difficult to choose which ones go in the album. I cannot give a stronger recommendation

Carrie is an amazing vendor to work with. She really takes the time to get to know her clients and their ideas for their engagement and wedding photos. Carrie was very responsive to all forms of communications. She even was very flexible when we had to adjust our engagement shoot due to weather. On the wedding day, Carrie and her team were awesome and took photos that captured all of the special moments that we want to remember forever. Carrie also went above and beyond to not only send our photos to preview but helped in the creation of our wedding album and getting it to us as soon as possible. We used Dan Roggi as our photographer and from the first time we met him, we knew he was the best choice to photograph our wedding. We wanted not only traditional, but some untraditional as well and Dan was right on board. He gave great advice and was so easy to work with

At the wedding, the whole wedding party adored him and he ensured he built a rapport with everyone. He was right there during the reception for any special pictures that needed to be taken and was willing to do anything. Guests to this day compliment us on Dan!

His talent as a photographer, especially with lighting, is simply amazing and our final pictures came out beautiful. He ensured every aspect of our wedding was covered and we were completely satisfied.

We could not have had a better photographer at our wedding and are very grateful.

Carrie and her team are AMAZING! They took careful considerations to our photo requests as well as kept us on a timeline in order to enjoy our day. My whole family commented on how amazing she and her team were, they made us feel incredibly comfortable and we also barely knew they were there for the important moments like the first kiss and first dance. The photos came out gorgeous and the canvas we ordered is the perfect addition to our home. Carrie is always kind and responds very quickly to emails and phone calls. Photography is an incredibly important part of the day and Carrie did an amazing job capturing it!

There aren't enough good things I can say about Carrie Draghi Photography. Not only are they professional, but fun! The quality of the photos are excellent, and truly tell the story of the entire day. When looking for a photographer we were worried about being constantly pulled away during the reception to take pictures - not the case here! We forgot both photographers were in the room taking pictures of the reception - which is a good thing! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

Carrie & Dan were the photographers at the very intimate wedding for my brother and sister in law. When looking for a wedding photographer (one of the first vendors we looked for), our two major criteria were amazing photos and a fun, professional personality that would put you at ease since you'll be spending a large part of the day with them. We worked with Dorian for our engagement session and wedding. Dorian is extremely talented and fun to work with. He is also a ninja. He was able to get some fantastic shots without anyone even noticing he was there! Even my mom commented that she "didn't remember the photographer rolling around in the grass" to get some great shots. Colleen at the studio was also really helpful and responsive - she was even replying to my emails while she was on vacation! It is so very important to feel comfortable and get along with your wedding photographer. Carrie has a great personality and really knows how to bring out the best in the couple she is shooting. Carrie and her assistants were awesome, patient and super helpful. They showed up on time and stayed almost until the end of the wedding. The best part was that they were completely unobtrusive. Carrie provided beautiful photos of our wedding. Her artistic eye incorporated natural elements of the seashore into our photos which made them unique. Carrie took the time to learn about and photograph sentimental items. Viewing these photos after the wedding was a pleasant surprise! Carrie kept us on schedule for the first look photos prior to the wedding. She and her staff were unobtrusive yet able to get all of the shots we requested and more. I can't say enough good about Carrie and her second shooters (to be referred to here as Trouble 1 and Trouble 2 :-))!!!!!! They were amazing. Our photos came out absolutely perfect, she was present and constantly busy and did everything we asked. Most importantly, the time we spent with her taking photos were the only moments that Kyle and I were able to share intimately alone on that day. Everyone told us how we'd be busy and rushing and to take a moment to breath BUT that's easier said than done. Carrie gave us those moments and those are the ones that we really remember and cherish. I recommend her to anyone that wants a photographer that is going to take amazing photos (definitely check out her work!) while making sure that you laugh (not "portrait smiles but REAL, show your teeth, laugh out loud laughing) and will give you the moments together that you won't forget.

Carrie is amazing! She is so down to earth and great to talk to, after talking to her on the phone and meeting her…I felt like I’ve known her for years. Her work is spectacular. She was great during our wedding. She met us at the hotel and had an assistant to help her so that made it easy to get photos of not only us girls, but the guys getting ready too! She got great shots at the beautiful hotel and then we met her at the venue. We did a first look and then pictures of us; family and the bridal party. We are live in AZ but are from CT so we wanted as much time with family and friends as possible. Carrie helped get all the shots we wanted before and FAST at the cocktail hour so it freed us up to socialize. She went above and beyond and did an amazing job! I was blown away by the photos; there were so many things she captured that were so special to me. One think I’ve never seen done before at a wedding is full group family shots with all family members on each side of the bride and groom. The last time we had a family photo done on either side of my family, I was probably 5! So ALL my family members are thrilled to have this up to date group family shot! I will always treasure our photos and HIGHLY recommend her!

She was more than just our photographer she really assembled our entire team of vendors with her recommendations; all of which McKenzie and I are so grateful for! I wish I could give Carrie and her team more stars. When I went to meet with Carrie for a consultation, I ended up chatting with her for almost two hours. She is insanely easy to get along with and her work speaks for itself! We had a blast shooting our engagement session and she also did a boudoir session for me as a surprise for my groom! Carrie was an amazing photographer. wonderful photographer, has great patience and love for children in the wedding party. she loves what she does and literally gets on the ground to get the perfect shot. Carrie really was more like a coordinator for us that day. She even explained to us how to cut the wedding cake and what to do with the utensils ( not that it's hard, but you want to look good doing it!). After she told us that she was going to go home, she ended up staying for a few more hours.

Carrie photographed my wedding on July 9th, which also happened to be her anniversary. But she quickly agreed to be part of our special day and from the start making us very comfortable with all of our choices. She also has photographed many of my friends weddings at this point, and they all loved everything about their photos. We could not have been happier she directed the day with everything we wanted, she took as many pictures as we asked and captured the day with everything we wanted. She easily adapted to ideas we had and added her own artistic flair. Carrie, Molly and Sheri also did a sign in book for Steve and I which was comprised of our favorite engagement photos, quotes and song lyrics; it was an incredible book which my guests loved and it added our own personal detail to the day. She is also doing my trash the dress this upcoming August which my husband and I are excited for.
When it came time for us to choose a photographer since we could not have both a videographer and a photographer we wanted someone that was going to go the extra step and make us feel as ease. Carrie and Colleen did exactly that, they made us laugh, they helped us well mainly my husband who was really nervous relax and let us have fun!!! We cannot wait to spend more time with Carrie in a few weeks as well as build our album with her and her amazing staff!

Professional and amazing at what they do!

Carrie and Dan are amazing. From our first meeting I knew I wanted to go with her. She was easy to talk to, understanding and clearly has a lot of experience. The day of our wedding, she kept me clued in and prepared for each thing and I believe she was a large part in why our wedding ran so smoothly. She had a plan for all situations and was open to impromptu photos as we wanted them. Carrie and Dan were amazing for our snowy December wedding day. They were prepared for every possible situation (especially given the uncertain weather) and professional in knowing when to step in and guide us, and when to capture the natural moments that occurred. They climbed over snow banks into fields of snow to get amazing shots and worked the lighting to create beautiful pictures. They were also efficient in getting all the group pictures we asked for. Carrie is relatable, creative and best of all enthusiastic about her work!

Carrie and Dan (her second shooter) were great, as well as Colleen (her in-office assistant) who you work with a lot prior to the wedding day! They made our day perfect, stress-free, and kept to our timeline! We had multiple large groups (multiple families, etc) to photograph throughout the day and Carrie was able to efficiently get all my requested pictures done, efficiently and before I was tired of posing :) Her style though is mostly candids, and they find great angles that make your pictures spectacular to capture the day. If you like more traditional or standard pictures/poses, have her make a note of it during your meeting and she will be sure to get those images as well. They both have a great sense of humor, which eased the stress of the day- our bridal party is sill talking about how great they were! We are beyond happy with how our pictures came out (engagement shoot as well!). You won't regret booking this amazing duo!

Carrie was such a delight to work with. Besides her amazing work she's got such an easy going and bubbly personality that really got people warming up to the camera. The day of the wedding she sent over a treat for us to enjoy while getting ready and helped with things beyond what she should have been doing to ensure that everything was perfect. The only thing I regret was not getting some pictures that I would have liked to besides the "have to have" pictures however whatever we wanted she would do but would also advise us on if certain pictures were worth taking verses missing out on the precious time you have to spend with guests.

Carrie was really helpful and organized when it came to figuring out what kinds of photos we did and did not want on our wedding day. And once the day came, while we got off to a slow start, we definitely got all the pictures we wanted and they all have come out great! (It made Christmas gifts easy this year)

On the day of our wedding Carrie and Dan really went out of their way to make sure they got pictures that captured the moments. Also, their two different styles really created a very complete set of pictures of our day. Great photographers with great personalities!

I am very glad we choose to work with Dorian from Carrie Draghi Photography for our wedding! Dorian had a great personality and was a lot of fun to work with. Our photos also came out fantastic! We have some really lovely wedding portraits and family shots that we will cherish for a long time. The photos from the ceremony and reception really captured the mood and feeling of both events. In comparison to some of the other photographers we looked at, their prices were reasonable and we were able to build a package that fit our needs. I would definitely recommend Carrie Draghi Photography!!

I highly recommend Carrie Draghi and her team without any reservations. In May 2015, we had 2 weddings (3 day Indian wedding and 1 day American wedding). After researching and speaking to may photographers, Carrie was the only one who asked "tell me about how you and James met". Her question left me speechless because the other photographers started the conversation about their services and packages. Throughout the whole wedding planning and preparation, Carrie listened to what we wanted and gave her advice and suggestions when needed. She took the time to get to know us, the wedding and our culture. Carrie and her team were easy to work and readily available. During the wedding, Carrie and Dan were very helpful and worked with my very big family. As any wedding, we did not follow our schedule but Carrie and Dan help keep everyone focus and on time. Carrie and Dan made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our pictures made us speechless. All of our pictures were able to tell a story and looked natural. I plan to use Carrie Draghi Photography for any future photo shoots.
