    Carissa and Gabe are the sweetest husband-wife team and so different from the dark and moody photographers around the area lately. Their images are joyful and timeless (like wedding photos should be) and we are SO happy with our choice!

    We had our engagement photos done with Fernweh + Liebe, and it was an all-around wonderful experience. Carissa was incredibly flexible with us when we had to reschedule because of the weather, and when rain became an issue on our rescheduled day, she was prepared--we took some shots with an adorable umbrella that she brought along, and then took a break and chatted over coffee as the worst of the rain rolled through. She didn't allow us to be discouraged, and instead saw the rain as an opportunity for unique photos. And the photos were GORGEOUS. I've never been one to like my photo taken, but I was blown away by how good she made us look! Book Fernweh + Liebe if you have the chance. Carissa and Gabe are the best kind of people, and their humor, optimism, and talent is unmatched.

    We had such an amazing experience with Carissa and Gabe, from the very beginning! There was 90% chance of rain in the forecast for our wedding day, but we got done with our OUTDOOR pictures and I hadn't even realized that it wasn't raining! We missed so many moments and emotions on our wedding day, and it was so amazing to see that Carissa and Gabe captured them. We are forever grateful for the incredible talent and professionalism we received!!

    Carissa and Gabe were everything we could have wanted in a wedding photographer. They were kind, prepared, produced excellent photos, and the price was great! They were overseas for a month right before our wedding, which I thought would be scary - but they were there with us fresh and bushy tailed! They even scouted out a new location for us to do outdoor photos. Carissa has a great eye for finding beautiful backdrops where others don't see them (cemetery, beach with dead trees, etc). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking! Thank you both for all you did to make our day the best ever!!

    I wouldn't have wanted any other photographer with us on our special day! Carissa and Gabe's attention to detail is amazing. They truly captured our love for each other.

    I would recommend to everyone! We were so happy with how our engagement and maternity photos turned out!! Not only do the photos turn out FANTASTIC, Carissa and her husband have a way of making the session feel very relaxing and fun.

    We booked for out Wedding and it was an amazing experience! They asked us what we wanted out of our photo's and they were willing to meet with us several times before hand to hear the things we absolutely wanted photo's of. We had our edited photos super quickly and we love them! It's one of the lasting parts about getting married and I loved them and their work so much my husband and I have asked them to do our maternity shoot for our first baby!

    Carissa Pic Photography did our engagement session as well as our wedding day. Our package allowed us to have the printing release for our photos (so we could print them wherever we want) as well as 2 photographers the day of our wedding for 10 hours.
    For the price and the quality of her work, she is definitely someone I would recommend!
    Her shots don't look as "posed" as some other wedding shoots, however, she has great ideas of things she wants to capture. She is also very open to suggestions and is willing to grab whatever shots you want!

    Carissa and Gabriel of Fernweh + Liebe Photography made our day so special!! We can not say enough nice things about them. They were awesome to work with before our wedding getting all the last details sorted out. They truly made us feel so comfortable. My husband and I are awkward in pictures but they knew exactly what to do to make us feel at ease and without us even knowing it! Our wedding party just loved them and they made it so fun and entertaining while we were having our pictures taken. They captured the most amazing pictures of our wedding day! They captured every detail for us and were so personable and flexible! They were more than just photographers that day. They made us feel like we were old friends just hanging out before an awesome party! We treasure our amazing photos from that day. We highly recommend them to everyone we know that is getting married! They are definitely an awesome duo that you want by your side to capture all your wonderful memories of your wedding day!

    Absolutely the best photographers to work with. So professional and understanding
    You can tell they love what they do. They work really close with the couple to give them what they want, amazing pictures. I would highly recommend Fernweh and liebe to anyone looking for a photographer. I will definitely be using them in the future. Loved working with them and absolutely love love our pictures.

    Carissa was excellent at being flexible and also last minute. She was willing to do whatever we wanted during the photos, but she also was great at having creative ideas so our photos were different than everyone else. Great experience--I highly recommend.

    They are so accommodating and willing to try new things! They make sure to catch the 'kodak" moments and are so fun!

    The photos turned out great, however they were not always easy to contact and it took much longer to get photos than they originally said.

    Actual wedding day Carissa and Gabe were amazing with everything. The only complaints we have are after the wedding day and how long it took for us to get our pictures. The contract stated 6-8 weeks to get our pictures, but it really turned into 10+weeks. Also, communicating via email takes days to almost a week to get a response.
