The best caterer!
Carefree catering catered our rehearsal dinner and our wedding menu. They had so many wonderful choices it was very hard to choose! They were SO helpful at our rehearsal dinner it truly was carefree. -

Carefree leaves you with no worries
Carol was wonderful, helpful and so easy going about the whole process. We got compliments on the food at our wedding and we had so many options to choose from when selecting our menu. Highly recommend! -

Yummy Food & Friendly Service
I decided to go with Carefree Catering based on their reviews and the ease of their menu selections and prices. I didn't feel confused when making my decisions on prices and meal options unlike other catering companies. I corresponded with them by phone and email. The other reason I decided to go with them is because they provide tablecloths, napkins, glassware, and silverware. I was happy I didn't need to rent tablecloths and that my wedding would have a finished look. Cake cutting service was also included. The staff was very friendly and Gary and Carol were both there to greet me on my wedding day which was nice. My husband and I sat down to our sweet heart table with our cocktail appetizers waiting for us. We were even served and didn't have to get up for food. They were so nice and asked us if we needed anything while we were eating. I was starving at that point so I was very pleased with this! When the wedding was over we were pleased to find left overs boxed up for us and our cake too. We ate wedding left overs for the next two days and loved it! We got compliments on how good the food was from our guests. I was happy with our decision to go with Carefree Catering and so was my husband and Dad. -

Carefree Catering makes your gathering Care Free......
Carol Shepherd, owner of CareFree Catering, was one of the nicest, most conscientious, professional people I have ever done business with. Not only was the food delicious, both vegetarian and regular, the staff was so professional and fun to be around they help make one of the greatest days in my life, perfect. I am the father of the bride. I had 12 people want the recipe for the meatballs on the appetizer table. My daughter and now son in law live in Pennsylvania, so my wife and I had to do all the leg work here in Florida. We interviewed 3 caterers. Care free was right in the middle price wise, but over the top in actual service. Although my daughter picked 90 % of what they wanted, Carol knew so many little things we just wouldn't have thought of to make it perfect. They were very flexible and very help full. The place settings were beautiful. Every thing was on time, complete,they missed nothing. We couldn't be happier with Carol and her amazing staff. I will never hire any one else for anything catering related and will highly recommend these fine people to any else. They made one of the greatest days in our families history, perfect, beautiful and tasty.. Thanks Carol..Lee, Bonnie,Jenn and Sam. -

Carol and Gary and their team did an awesome job for our son's wedding renewal and party at our home pool side. Carol is a dream to work with as she is so helpful and full of great ideas. Their prices are so reasonable especially when you take into consideration everything they give you for the price of the dinner! Carol even was able to provide some of the table centerpieces that I needed, saving me a lot of money. My tables were beautiful and the linens they provided were perfect for our beachside pool side wedding. The food was amazing! We had 40 guests and not only did everyone have more than plenty to eat but everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious all of the food was. The beef tenderloin was out of this world and beautifully carved for each guest. I would highly recommend the beef tenderloin if you want a delicious and beautiful dinner. The chicken picata, rice, ceaser salad, and roasted Brussels sprouts were also amazing! Not too many people would ever think of serving roasted Brussels sprouts but I'm so glad I did as not only did it look beautiful on the plate but everyone, even those that don't like Brussels sprouts raved about it! We also used their bar tender and she did an amazing job! Carol and her staff serving our dinner and party were so professional and friendly to all of our guests! I only wish we had another party to hold so I could use Carefeee Catering again! I highly recommend them for any venue you may be hosting, but especially a wedding. They also have many recommendations for other vendors you may need. We had a wonderful wedding and party and it could not have been done without them! My deep gratitude to Gary for cooking such an amazing dinner and putting up with all of my requests! Thank you to all at Carefeee Catering! -

Gary, Carol, and the staff at Carefree Catering helped make our wedding day incredibly easy and enjoyable. We had an afternoon wedding and reception with 30 guests at my mother's home in Palm Coast. Carefree Catering provided heavy hors d'oeuvres, bartending service for our beer and wine, cake cutting service, and champagne toast service. Their reasonable price included all of the linens, plates, glassware, and utensils.
Gary, Carol, and their staff arrived hours ahead of time to set everything up, provided excellent service during the event, and cleaned everything up afterward. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed with the customer service they offered. Gary and Carol are very personable and professional. The other staff members were extremely attentive without being obtrusive.
Just like the company’s name says, it was completely carefree! This was a huge plus not only for me, the bride, but for my mother, as she didn’t have to worry about cleaning anything up after everyone left her home. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them for any event.

Carefree Catering was excellent! They lived up to their name without a single concern. As a bride I had a million thoughts running through my head. Carol thought of hundreds more I overlooked, addressed every one of them with me, and went above and beyond our contract. She helped move tables to configure our reception room, provided decorations, and rearranged table linens until I was pleased. She was professional, prompt, accessible via phone, text, or email, incredibly personal, and a pleasure to work with. We received multiple compliments on the food and service. If you want affordable, delicious, and easy to work with look no further. -

Carefree Catering really made my day stress free! It was a pleasure working with them from beginning to end. They had valuable knowledge when deciding what to provide and where to set up for cocktail hour & dinner buffet flow. They even did a walk through with us at the reception location before the wedding day to map out the layout!
They took care of the linen rental and set up my tables with center pieces the day of. This was a huge help as I did not have a wedding coordinator to do this.
They communicated to all our other vendors so the day went smoothly.
We were very pleased they were able to make special Spanish appetizers since my husband is from South America. The food was amazing! We received many compliments from our guests. We took leftovers to our hotel later that evening, and hours later it was still delicious!
For a headache free day, this is the best caterer in the area. Their price is very reasonable and the service is phenomenal.

Carol & Gary was great couldn't ask for a better catering than them.. when we needed to change something at the last minute they helped us with no question asked.. they made our special day perfect, food was perfect & very delicious. The service was excellent and the staff was flexible. Our event was to be held outdoors and needed to be moved inside due to weather, they were extremely accommodating. The owner showed up as scheduled for our consultation before hand and was thorough in going over the details the day before. The staff during the event was present, but unobtrusive, quickly cleaning up the area when dishes were laid aside. The food was hot and fresh and several guests commented on the quality of the product. -

The food was delicious, fresh and tender, everything I had hoped for!
Gary and Carol came fully prepared and with a friendly and courteous staff. They set up efficiently the service was attentive and the food was absolutely delicious and abundant! They also did an excellent job cleaning up. It was truly carefree for us they did all the work.
I highly recommend them!

Carol was there at 11 am during setup and didn't leave until everything was cleaned up at the end of the night. Her wait staff was very attentive and polite during the reception. The food was delicious (or so I hear, I didn't eat much that night). I cannot recommend them enough. Very easy to work with! -

I couldn't wait to write this review. I have to tell you that Gary and Carol and their catering business are a class act. I actually planned a 60th Wedding Anniversary/80th Birthday party for my parents to be held in Port Orange, Fl from the state of Nebraska. Gary was such a help to me with suggestions for the party and other areas. When the actual party took place, I didn't do a THING! I found out that they really are a carefree Caterer! Food was fantastic and the service was even better.
I have to tell you that there were approximately 100 guests there and there were absolutely no complaints at all!

Carefree Catering did an amazing job with my wedding reception in Ponte Vedra, Florida. They were extremely flexible and accommodating to all of our needs!! The food was fantastic....guests were asking for more shrimp and grits (served in a martini glass). We also had them provide two bartenders and I must say, these two guys were great! Many of my guests enjoyed laughing and talking with them as they were very personable and friendly. You can't beat that!!! And the bar ALWAYS had a line!!
Overall, this is a very professional company that provided excellent customer service! We booked them somewhat last minute due to issues with another company, but Gary was so wonderful and responsive to our needs that we wish we would have known about them from the very beginning (it would have saved us a lot of headache!).
If you are looking for a great, professional catering company, definitely contact Carefree Catering. -

Carefree Caterers was awesome. My son and new daughters wedding in July was outstanding. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was very professional. I will recommend them to everyone. Great Job! -

I couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone raved about the food. I hardly noticed that they were there. The day before the wedding Carol set up the buffet and was a wonderful help with ideas. -

Carefree Catering did a wonderful job at our wedding! We didn't have to worry about a thing. Very professional and friendly with great service and a fair price. My husband and I were so impressed with carefree catering. Anything we needed they were right there and very professional. The food was amazing and all our guests agree. We will definitely recommend carefree catering to all friends, family, and people we meet. -

The caterers were so good that I honestly didnt really even notice them there!!! They worked behind the scenes and were very nice when serving the food. I couldnt havve asked for a better night all together!! Lots of compliments were directed to me and my now husband about how great the food was!!! -

Absolutely wonderful people to work with. Very warm and friendly which helped to put me at ease for our big day. Very knowledgeable and informative. Extremely flexible, since I am a procrastinator, and when other people dropped the ball, they were able to reshuffle their part and make it appear like everything was running right to plan. Because of them, I had a wonderful, carefree time. The staff and service was great and the food was wonderful. I would definitely hire them again. Hands down the best company to work with! If you are ever torn between two companies, even if Carefree Catering is a little more expensive, go with them. You will not regret it! Their level of service is superior to anyone else! -

I would highly recommend Carefree Catering. On the day of the wedding, I really felt their name was appropriate, because I didn't have to worry about anything. The food was great and the ease of which everything was done was very professional. I also appreciated the fact they went to the location of the wedding with me 2 weeks before to go over how everything would be placed, etc. -

Responsiveness wasn't the best because my emails apparently kept going to their junk mail. I also tried calling a few times and took a while to get back to me.
We had a wedding reception of 160. Breakfast for dinner. The food was really delicious and they accommodated some food we wanted to bring. The only down fall was with that many people they should have had a buffet where you could have people on both sides which we had talked about but didn't happen. The line was a little outrageous with that many people. -

Horrible service. Didn't have enough appetizers, didn't save any for Bridal party. Didn't get the rest of the food that was paid for or a plate for Bride & Groom. Took table cloths off with people still at them. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend them. Absolutely horrible. -
