  We had our daughters Quincenara at Lake San Marcos Country Club and I can't say enough about the staff and location, they are "Awesome"!. My husband and I could not afford a big lavish event for 200 people but with the help of Eva (facilities Coordinator) she customized a package for us and our daughters party was a big hit.

  The room was beautiful! Julio, the Banquet coordinator did a wonderful job, arranging the tables to allow for the biggest dance floor possible to ensure a great time for everyone at the party. The tables were all very beautiful, the tablecloths were nice and white and clean not old and soiled. We were allowed to decorate the tables with the centerpieces we wanted, Eva our coordinator had good ideas that she shared with us, but was not pushy about imposing any of her ideas on us, she let us do what we wanted. All of our guest said that the food was wonderful! The only thing was that when we went for the tasting, it was a little decieving the amount of food for the tasting was a little bit more then was actually served at the dinner. But it was still good. The waiters/waitresses were awesome! Very friendly and professional. The Bar was very good about keeeping us informed of the tab amount. All in all, everyone had a great time, and will for sure come back for another party! Thanks to everyone for making our Special Day perfect!

  My new husband and I had our wedding at the lake san marcos country club, we were very pleased with the location of our ceremony on the lake. Our reception was at the lake as well catered by the country club. We were hesitant on the service and quality of the country club's catering abilities in keeping the food fresh and tasteful. They surprised us with amazing food and service! The coordinator was professional and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We had a great time, and we would recommend this place to a friend.

  Because of the on-site hotel, many guests were able to walk to all wedding events which was very convenient. The event coordinator at the club was very helpful with planning prior to the wedding but was not as helpful on the actual day. She was nowhere to be found during the rehearsal and took a long lunch on the wedding day so we had no contact person at the club to deal with issues only a few hours before the ceremony. Everything turned out fine but I would have been happier if she had been more available that day.
