Everyone raved about the food

We had shrimp and grits as well as churrasco steak. We did a charcuterie cocktail hour and everything that was provided was excellent and delicious! They were wonderful to work with and a good price for wonderful service and quality of food!

We Love Cynthia!

Cynthia is incredible! We loved working with her. Her top priority is the couple, and she makes sure the menu items reflect that. Cynthia took mine and my husband’s favorite dishes from our first dates and milestone occasions, and created an eclectic progressive dinner that knocked everyone’s socks off! People are still talking about the presentation and taste of our food stations. She also has mastered the art of working with planners and other vendors to make the day easy and worry free for everyone involved. Her kindness and love for what she does shines from her and her smile. I’m so glad that we chose Cape Creations for our special day.

I want to carry them around with me.

Can they feed me everyday? It has been over a month and people are still talking about the shrimp & grits! People that have visited Savannah and tried tons of shrimp and grits without liking any of them - they loved Cynthia's shrimp and grits! Their creativity is unsurpassed. The "cuban cigar" egg rolls passed around in a cigar box, the shrimp and grits in a martini glass, the mac & cheese in a waffle cone...it is truly an experience! Every bit of their presentation is amazing. The only thing better than the presentation is the flavor of the food! We had an obnoxious amount of food for the price we paid, too! It is the best deal in Savannah!

Everyone was absolutely fantastic. From the food to the service, there was nothing at all that I would change about my experience with Cape Creations. Gina and Cynthia were so helpful, and their staff was a pleasure to work with. They were so professional, and I would recommend them to anyone who has an event!

Working with Cynthia with Cape Creations was one the best decisions we made for our wedding. Cynthia went above and beyond with everything from the catering to helping us plan the layout and flow of the cocktail hour and reception. Throughout the cocktail hour and reception our guests were raving about the food, we still get compliments on the food a month later! It was such a pleasure to work with Cynthia - she always made us feel so comfortable and secure that everything would be perfect on our wedding day, and it truly was!

The food was amazing! Cynthia and her team are truly awesome. They came up with the best little creations for our cocktail hour and the main meal was absolutely delicious (we even got them to give us an extra plate of risotto, it was so good)! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cape Creations team to anyone looking for a caterer. They were simply fantastic! Thank you Cynthia!

Cynthia and her team put together really great food for our wedding. It's almost daunting when you start planning with them because they can literally do anything that you want! But that flexibility allowed us to create a menu that appealed to all of our guests, who presented a wide variety of dietary needs and likes. Everything was handled seamlessly and professionally.

The best food in Savannah! We were sold at our tasting which was in May. We spent the next nine month dreaming about tasting this food again. The service was second to none the entire process. All of our guests raved about how delicious everything was. Cocktail hour had an abundance of food which kept our guest entertained as we took photos and our dinner was exceptional. The crab cakes were just to die for. We would most certainly recommend Cape Creations to anyone needing food services for any event in this area.

Cynthia and her staff were professional and accommodating. Tho food was amazing! In our tasting we never tried something we didn't like. During our wedding reception we felt taken care of but not intruded. Cape Creations is the best! Hire them now.

Cynthia and her staff at Cape Creations were incredible! We were planning our wedding from afar and she was very responsive and gave wonderful recommendations, about food choices, set-up, etc. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was - and we loved it too! Cynthia and her team are hands down among the top professionals in the industry in Savannah and The Low Country. We recently used them to cater our 150+ guest wedding on stage at the Lucas Theatre. Having the event on Stage brought a new set of obstacles that most vendors would have struggled with. Cynthia made a plan and stuck with the plan. Two (2) Days before the wedding day We realized that we could not have any open flame on the Stage which meant no Sterno for the Buffets (Total Oh sh*t Moment). Cynthia devised a plan to buy/borrow hot plates to use in place of the Sterno and it worked wonderfully. The food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful. The staff was very professional and extremely courteous to the guests. I would recommend this company to anyone that wants top shelf service and the opportunity to work with someone as wonderful as Cynthia and her team.

Cynthia is amazing! When we first met with her, all we had in mind was a budget. She customized our menu, which was delicious, and came in under budget. She provides staff, and my recommendation is to TIP the staff. They are WORTH IT! They took the time to ensure that both my husband and myself ate throughout the reception (which is surprisingly difficult to do) and packed a take out dinner, if in case we didn't get a chance to eat. She charges a little for payment in credit cards (but not much) so if you can pay in cash - do so.

Cape Creation was the best. I had a wedding venue that required me to bring in a caterer. This company was the only one that allowed me to pick out what I wanted to eat and did not require me to pick from a set menu. The food was DELICIOUS! Any changed we needed to make Cynthia was always polite, professional, and accommodating. She spoke with me directly to coordinate everything and she was realistic about the menu and the cost. I would definitely recommend her company to anyone who needs a caterer. I would also add that I contacted two other prominent caterers in Savannah before deciding to choose Cape Creations. As I stated before, they were the best.

Thank God for Cape Creations. Cynthia and her team were amazing. We were a little late to the game on catering because we were going to use a local restaurant that was more casual. They dropped off the food and that was it. But we quickly learned that we needed something a bit more. We wanted servers, apps, people to take care of cleaning, and it all be package in something other than to-go boxes. Thankfully, I was recommended to Cynthia by our venue. They do these stations where people can go up to different tables and create their meal. IT WAS A HUGE HIT. We had pulled pork (amazing), mason jar salads (super fun to see people shaking them up), grilled veggies, shrimp & girts in a martini glass (amazing), and a mac n cheese cone bar, which was probably one of the most shared things on social media from our wedding. It all tasted really really good. I was worried because we are out of town and couldn't try the food beforehand. Let me tell you out of towners, you're in good hands. They even got us our food so we didn't have to leave the table. I was able to eat!! Again, everything was amazing and Cynthia is a joy to work with. Thanks Cape Creations!

We've used Cape Creations for a company event of about 100 people for the past three years. The team is always extremely professional and well prepared and the service is consistently impeccable. The food is always delicious-- we switch up the menu every year... it is difficult to pick a favorite! Overall both our event planning team and the clients/attendees have had a delightful experience each year.

I love using Cape Creation for my company's events! They are always prompt and professional, and I never have to worry about how the service will be or how the food will taste because it is ALWAYS AMAZING. When you do as many events as I do, it is great to have a reliable company that you don't have to "micromanage" especially when you have a million other things to worry about. I recently used them for an open house event. We had a little more than a 100 guests show up. Cynthia, owner of Cape Creations, recommended I keep it simple for this event by just having the catering staff walked around with passed hors d'oeuvres. She was right! Of all the hors d'oeuvres I ordered we only had about 10 pieces left over, so it was great not to have a lot of waste and feel like I threw money down the drain. Now for the food, the crab cakes are delicious and meaty. Everyone at the party loved and raved about how great they were. Also, the chicken salad pastry cups and mini sliders with chow chow were a big hit. I always have these three items on the menu at my events because people really enjoy them. I would really recommend using Cape Creation for any event. I can't rave enough about how great they are to work with. Best of luck with your event :)

Cynthia was wonderful. She was very professional, and you could tell she was an expert, and that she has been in the business for a long time. She not only provided great service, but always had good advice on what I should have/plan for my wedding reception. She was very responsive and great with communication. Her food was amazing! It was so delicious, and everyone who attended the wedding said so. It was the kind of meal that you completely finish even if you have already gotten full. I witnessed my husband finish his grandmother's plate after he basically licked his clean! Thank you so much for a fantastic meal, a fantastic service, and a fantastic staff.

You will not go wrong hiring Cape Creations for your wedding! Cynthia goes above and beyond the call of duty. Food was amazing! I never even did a taste testing due to us planning out of state, I didn't need to because talking with Cynthia and the way she described food, OH.MY.GOD!! You will leave the conversation so hungry. The service was also out of this world. I was and all my guests were so impressed by the wait staff, it was like an orchestrated dance. Cynthia always got back to me in a timely manner if not sooner then I expected, she also reminded me of things I had NO clue I needed to do. You want her on your side for your special day. Last but not least please, please, please get the Smore's Station...It was so good and such a fun touch to our wedding.

Cynthia with Cape Creations was amazing to work with for our wedding. I heard nothing but great reviews from my guests regarding the food. We had a huge assortment of food (shrimp, crab cakes, chicken, cheese assortment, late night biscuit bar)- you name it, Cynthia provides. There was plenty of food and the passed apps were great during cocktail hour. I wish I had had a chance to eat more! She does provide a box of to go food for the bride and groom after the wedding, so we got back to hotel and grubbed out. Everything was great and Cynthia was very on point about responding to emails, changing numbers, working with me on menu, etc.

Cant wait to use her again for my next major party!

Cynthia and her team were wonderful! She was extremely professional and interested in obtaining all the information she needed to create food that celebrated our important event. She chose seasonally appropriate ingredients, and each dish was special and delicious. These are not your ordinary run-of-the-mill standards, but elegant, good food that really adds to an event. Our event was for donors, so we wanted it to be truly special, and Cynthia and her team lived up to all expectations. They are extremely organized in the kitchen and in serving, which is something one doesn't usually see, but your guests will appreciate - everyone gets served quickly and at the same time. We'll be recommending Cape Creations to the many brides who plan weddings here at Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University.

Cynthia from Cape Creations was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive and often offered ideas and assistance to things not even related to catering. We loved having her cater our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding. Both were amazing, and were run very smoothly. We loved that Cape Creations made sure we were able to eat at our wedding, and they even packaged food for us to eat later after the reception as well. Our guests LOVED the food, and we were extremely happy with all of the stations. I'm still dreaming of the smoked gouda mac and cheese balls! :)

We used Cape Creations Catering for our reception food. It was delicious and the staff was so friendly and efficient. We met with Cynthia and did a sampling of the food. We were very impressed with the delicious food and how knowledgable Cynthia was regarding all things catering. She had done several events at our reception location so she knew exactly how to set up everything. Everyone said the food was delicious so that was most important! I would recommend this company to anyone needing a caterer for their wedding reception.

Everything was PERFECT. We gave CCC a price limit and they did not exceed and gave us so much for our money. We had Hors d'oeuvres (shrimp & grits and fried mac & cheese), barbeque sandwiches, mason jar salads, rosemary chicken, grilled veggies, a potato bar and a dessert bar!! I'm not very picky, but my MOH is and she was in food heaven!! My favorite part of the whole night was because of CCC, she suggested that the groom and I take about 15 min after our first dance to eat our dinner in peace and just reflect on the fact that we just got married!! It was perfect- we got drinks and went to the grooms suite and we had a plated dinner waiting for us and even had some of her employees outside to make sure no one bothered us. With the wedding being so hectic, always talking to everyone, it was so nice to just have some time to be with my groom and not have to worry about anything. I am so grateful we chose Cape Creations. Thank you!!! :)

My wife and I married in Savannah last month and Cynthia was an absolute pleasure to work with, from the menu selection and tasting to the day of the event everything went flawlessly and the food was absolutely incredible. Cape Creations did a phenomenal job for our wedding day! We were thrilled with the quality of food and presentation and the staff’s incredible efforts and service levels. We appreciated all the guidance and suggestions Cynthia gave us along the way – especially the wedding cake ice cream which served as a fun and unique alternative to wedding cake. She was so accommodating to our last-minute changes and with our guests who had dietary restrictions. The food was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. We went with stations and passed bites for cocktail hour. Passed were: pork belly corn dogs with a maple glaze, biscuit BLTs with fried green tomato, and pecan cheddar dollars (similar to cheese straws). Our stations included fried Gruyere mac and cheese bites, roasted vegetables, a hand pulled pork station with coleslaw, and a grits bar with choice of shrimp or sausage. Everything was incredible and the presentation was lovely. The staff was also very professional and kind.

From the beginning, working with Cynthia was a pleasure. She listened to the type of reception atmosphere we wanted and food we liked, and worked with us to create a menu that fit our tastes and budget.

I had been assigned to provide finger sandwiches for the wedding of a daughter of a friend. While I adore both the friend and her daughter, preparing food is not my forte'. I also found myself dealing with a major family health issue. The wedding was the day after Thanksgiving so the holiday hustle and bustle didn't help. I was so afraid that no caterer would take on the task as that is usually a day of rest for employees of catering companies and I waited far to late to get an order placed. However, I did not have to disappoint my friend. Cynthia Creighton-Jones of Cape Creations Catering solved every aspect of my problem. She returned my call immediately; assured me that the day after Thanksgiving would be no problem; offered the perfect combination of finger sandwiches at an amazing price; delivered them at the exact time as specified at the reception location to the delight of bride and mother. They were delicious and attractive and I could not have been more satisfied.

Cape Creations catered my wedding reception. My experience with Cynthia and her entire staff was wonderful from beginning to end. She was creative, flexible, personable and showed excellent taste in everything. The reception was at a semi-outdoor venue with a challenging kitchen and load-in situation, and Cynthia was right there working with her staff to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Her staff was polished, professional and friendly at every turn. She got into the spirit of the historic-themed wedding at the rustic location, and had spot-on presentation suggestions as well. I was extremely happy with the food, and we got numerous happy comments from our guests about it. She was able to provide delicious food for both omnivores and vegans, without letting the anyone feel like they'd been shortchanged. In my experience, at a wedding, that's nothing short of a miracle. I can't recommend Cape Creations highly enough.

It was a pleasure working with Cynthia. We hired her because it was apparent to us that she was on top of her game. She delivered everything as promised and in a timely manner as far as menu changes and ideas. We were all thrilled with quality of the food and the presentation. Cynthia was fantastic to work with. Originally we were concerned that her services would be outside of our budget, but she scheduled a consultation with us anyway, assuring us that she thought she could come up with something for our budget.

Our initial consultation was fantastic, she got to know us as a couple, including the types of foods that we liked to eat. She gave us several options within our price point to choose from, ranging from the hors d'oeuvres to the bread, salads, sides, and main course. We also had several dietary restrictions that she was able to accommodate, including several gluten-free guests, about 1/6th of the guests needing vegan meals, and having another guest with a nut allergy.

The day of the wedding, the food was fantastic. The portions and number of passed trays on the hors d'oeuvres were perfect and her staff was friendly and professional. They also made sure that since I was taking family photos during cocktail hour and may have missed some of the passed items that I was brought a plate of with each of the items when we finished with the photographers.

Dinner was fantastic as well. When I arrived to my seat, we had plated salads and bread on the table. This was Cynthia's suggestion since we had a buffet style dinner. It allowed people to have something to eat while tables were dismissed and made it a bit nicer than other wedding buffets I've had. All of the food at dinner was AMAZING! One of the bridal party asked for the recipe for the mashed potatoes they were so good. We also got several compliments on the Coq au Vin, which was probably the most tender and moist chicken I've ever had. Though I didn't try the vegan meal, I got compliments from several of our friends on that as well.

Overall, I would recommend Cape Creations to absolutely anyone having a wedding in Savannah. Cynthia, her staff, and the food were all fantastic, and we really can't thank them enough for helping make our day the best it could be.

This was not really a corporate event but my type of event is not one of the options. This was a private party in my home for members of a club I belong to. The food was outstanding and the service was the perfect combination of unobtrusive and on top of things. Cynthia was a joy to work with.

She did a great job customizing our seasonal menu, through using local products. She made great recommendations and went above and beyond with personal touches at the end of the night for bride/groom. The passed appetizers were hot and fresh and we wanted more!! so yummy. Staff/Service were around all night and assisted all guests being very professional and courteous- would highly recommend for caterer in any type of meeting/occasion/wedding or event.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful it was to work with Cynthia and the Cape Creations team from day one of planning for our wedding. Cynthia was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and a true pleasure to work with. The food was unbelievable, and the presentation was just as great! Choosing Cape Creations as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Cynthia was absolutely amazing leading up to our wedding. We came to her with some fairly specific menu ideas and she was able to make all of our requests a delicious reality. She also gave us so many great ideas about when and where to serve certain items so that we not only had great food, but had a successful event.

On our wedding day, we had so many comment and compliments from guests about the food. Everything was so beautifully presented and was so delicious. And as for the staff - to say they were incredible is an understatement. They were all so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the food and they seemed to actually enjoy being there.. unlike most service staff who are just there to earn a paycheck.

I cannot say enough positive things about Cape Creations. They truly made our wedding day a huge success!!

Cynthia and her staff were fabulous to work with. She is very sweet and helpful in selecting creative and delicious foods. The food was absolutely amazing and beautifully presented. Cynthia and her staff were one of my most favorite vendors to work with during the planning process! She always responded quickly and professionally to my emails and phone calls making it so much easier and stress free. When I met with her for the first time she was so very kind and so incredibly helpful, she helped design our menu and kept it within our budget. Cynthia Creighton Jones was professional and gracious throughout our entire planning and execution of the event. Her staff is superb and both friendly and efficient. Very helpful. Cynthia not only delivered the food requested but also added extra of each dish. She was very observant of the table setting and made welcome suggestions for placement and serving. She also checked to make sure we had ample and correct serving pieces for her drop off items as well as the food I supplied. She offered her own for our items. I am sorry I felt I could not afford to have her cater the entire event. In retrospect, she was a bargain and I will not hesitate to have her cater the entire event should I entertain more than 10 people again.

Cynthia from Cape Creations was absolutely amazing! She truly accommodated all of our needs and went out of her way to bring our vision to light. Cynthia and her staff were extremely professional. Their services are reasonably priced and well worth every penny. Our food was extremely important to my husband and I because we had family attending from another country. All of the food went with our theme and it was so full of flavor. Cynthia makes everything from scratch and does all the cooking the day of. Our cocktail hour and reception were unbelievable and that was due in part to Cape Creations. I highly recommend their services and look forward to working with them in the future.

When our daughter got engaged one of the first things we did was to look for a caterer. After reviewing several, and their menus, there was never any question Cape Creations Catering was for us. Cynthia interviewed us to get our ideas as to what we wanted. She then worked with us to put together a dinner for our guests that was a blend of European, and Southern cuisine. She was very conscious of the budget we set, and offered ideas along the way. Needless to say, the wedding has come, and gone, but the appetizers, and dinner she served our guests was FABULOUS! We had several guests say, that they had been to a lot of weddings, and events, but never had food as good as this was. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I could never say enough good things about Cynthia and all those at Cape Creation Catering. She was the first caterer I met with and almost instantly I knew I wouldn't bother with anyone else. I LOVED that she was willing to hear my ideas and create a menu that best complimented the vision I had for my wedding. The food and service was excellent! The food was delicious! We had the smoked prime rib and fried chicken, potatoes, vegetables and a salad. There was quite a bit of food not eaten but that may have been because we had a large cheese and hors-d'oeuvre table. The servers were very attentive and professional. Very good quality catering!!

We originally contacted this caterer on recommendation from our wedding planner. Upon our first conversation, it was obvious that it was the perfect fit. We were looking for a pretty extensive menu to emulate various international food markets that we frequent, so we were concerned with the possibility of finding someone willing and able to make a number of different foods prepared and served fresh at various different stations around our reception. Our worries were quickly quelled upon speaking to Cynthia.

Ultimately we ended up with a ton of great food, from maples glazed pork belly corn dogs, to she crab soup, and fish and pork belly tacos. All of it tasted great and we received numerous compliments from our guests. Additionally, we had a great dessert table including things like tiramisu, cheesecake, aztec chocolate cookies, and more.

Through all of the planning, Cynthia worked with us to make sure the food was exactly what we wanted, creating new dished and revising recipes to suit our tastes. This resulted in a highly customized menu that was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend Cape Creations to anyone in need of a caterer in the Savannah area.

I learned about Cynthia Creighton-Jones' talents from word of mouth. She enjoys a wonderful reputation as one of Savannah's best caterers, and since I wanted our daughter's wedding reception to center around family, really good food, and fun, it was only natural that I would choose her. She is fun to work with, as well as very organized and professional. She knew exactly what sort of feel I was going for in my selections for heavy hors d'oeuvres and the buffet, and her guidance was invaluable. I was delighted to see that her quote was most reasonable given the quality and quantity of food that she was to prepare for us. On the day of the wedding, she and her crew arrived at the venue on time and before long, delicious aromas were emanating from the kitchen. The butlered hors d'oeuvres served during the cocktail hour were wonderful and her servers were unobtrusive but attentive. I have to say that the buffet food was, perhaps, the best that I've ever had at a wedding reception and my guests' comments echoed mine. Every dish was beautifully presented, too. I highly recommend Cynthia of Cape Creations Catering for any event.

Cynthia is amazing. We wanted Southern Chic for our wedding day and she nailed it! From the pulled pork and collard green egg rolls to the pit-smoked chicken, it was delicious. We didn't have a huge budget and she worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. We had 5 vegetarians and one gluten free meal and they all LOVED their food as well. When we first met with Cynthia to discuss the menu and pricing options, she was friendly and genuinely interested in us as a couple--not just as customers. She ran with the direction that we gave her, and she had scrumptious suggestions when we didn't yet have a clear direction. We were a smaller event, but she made us feel like we were the main event in Savannah that day. The timing of service was impeccable, the passed hors d'oeuvres were real crowd pleasers, the main course was so good that dinner conversation suffered a lull (always a good sign that the food was fantastic), and her staff was professional and attentive.

On a more personal note, Cynthia really made feel as though she was personally invested in making our wedding day a big success. She is truly a caterer a who cares about her customers.

D-elicious!!! A little on the pricy side but worth every penny. Our guests loved all the food and she was able to cook in the kosher style for my family. I knew it was a good sign when the majority of the food was gone even though we had ordered more than we needed after some last minute cancellations. Highly recommend for not only weddings but for any local functions in the savannah area. I plan on using her again for future functions as her cuisine is diverse enough for different audiences.

The food was spectacular and even the pickiest of guests loved it!! Everything was hot and nothing was over or undercooked. We made a great decision picking this as our catering service for our wedding. It was presented beautifully and the staff was lovely and so curtious. Would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone!

We are so fortunate to have found Cape Creations Catering. We hosted a luncheon for forty guests at our home following my son’s baptism and asked Cape Creations to create a menu within budget and set up lunch service so when we returned to the house everything would be ready. Cynthia was fantastic to work with and very patient with all of our change requests. The food received rave reviews and looked fantastic. I would highly recommend this caterer and we look forward to working with Cynthia and her team in the future.

Cape creations was my caterer for my April 5th wedding at Savannah Station. They were responsive and helpful throughout the process. We went for a tasting last summer and couldn't say no. Cynthia is incredible at what she does! She is definitely not a cheap caterer, however, the quality of her service makes it worth it! We had all southern style food at our wedding and she was very honest in her advice. We had passed appetizers/Shrimp and grits station and those were a hit! We also had a sit down dinner and desserts. She even encouraged us to have less food because she felt it would be too much. She was definitely right! I would listen to her advice because she knows what she is talking about! Our wedding was a dream and Cynthia helped to make that happen! Thank you for everything:)

Our wedding was a destination event and was planned remotely. Working with Cynthia and her team was a god send. Cynthia's team delivers quality excellence when it comes to planning of the menu, coordinating with the venue, recommending other professional service providers, and most importantly "creating" and serving AMAZING food. Cynthia was able to construct and deliver a menu that our guests are still raving about. Whatever you do - be sure to add the Curry lamb and red-pepper cupcakes to your menu!

Planning wise everything went smoothly. Cynthia was able to make changes according to our palate, and everything was delish. Upon reception time, the hors d'oeuvres were being passed. The first ones we got were missing a chip for the shrimp tropical. The second set was complete with the chip. They were both still delicious. When it was our turn to go to the buffet, the Mahi Mahi was missing the mango salsa that went with it. So we had to find someone to ask if they had it or if it had not been made. Luckily it had been prepped but was still sitting in the fridge, so it showed up a bit late. But over all the food was wonderful. We got so many complements. Cynthia is great to work with.

Cynthia and her team at Cape Creations catered our outdoor wedding and did an outstanding job! The food was incredible and many of our guests made a point to let us know during and after the event. Leading up to the event, Cynthia was easy to work with and extremely professional. Our wedding reception wasn't the easiest of locations, as we held the entire party outside in a Savannah park square, but Cape Creations made it work! Given the experience and value, I highly recommend Cape Creations!

Cynthia and her staff did a wonderful job providing services during our wedding weekend! Everyone was very complimentary of the food and had nothing but good things to say. We did a low country boil for the rehearsal dinner, food stations at the wedding reception, and breakfast sandwiches for the morning after brunch. Cynthia was very informative during the planning phase and made the setting our menus effortless. The only aspect of our food service that I felt as though could have gone smoother would have been the serving of the stations. Cynthia recommended that we should use cocktails table and have more guests standing and mingling during this time to allow a better flow and we should have taken her advice. We instead chose to have our guests seated at tables. Due to the size of our dining space we were concerned that it would appear crowded and chaotic and were hoping to stay organized. However, by having our guests sit this caused for some guests to have to wait and felt more like a buffett line versus stations which can increase the length of serving time. We were able to provide drinks during this time so the guests were content and loving the food, just something to consider when planning your big day :) Cynthia's staff at Cape Creations were very friendly and professional throughout the evening, would most definitely work with them again in the future if the opportunity arouse. The shrimp and grits at the wedding reception was the crowd pleaser! Thanks Cynthia!

I chose this vendor from the list of caterers provided by my venue. The rep was easily accessible throughout the planning process. She also created a meal to work with my budget. There were a few times were I felt like she dropped the ball. First, I asked her to set aside some hors d’oeuvres for the wedding party to eat during the cocktail hour, which was not done. Also, we gave our guest the option of chicken or beef which was clearly denoted by the color of the flowers attached to the place cards. I also e-mailed pictures of the colored flowers hoping to eliminate confusion for the wait staff. However, on the day of the reception, the wait staff was totally confused. Eventually, they figured it out. If I had it to do over, I would have had only one meal choice. Keep in mind, for this vendor you have to rent almost all of the catering supplies (bread baskets, serving trays, napkins for serving trays, etc.) Of the 2 primary meal selections, one received great reviews while the other meal choice was average in my opinion. In closing, I’m not trying to communicate a bad experience with this vendor, but the difference between how well the preliminary planning steps were handled and the actual day-of execution was a slight let down.

Cynthia was very helpful in understanding the ins and outs of what we would need the day of the wedding, and was quick to respond to my emails being that I was planning a wedding in Georgia from Ohio. I felt that the staff on hand could have been more responsive to the needs of myself and my husband, we missed multiple appetizers because we had not arrived yet and I would have liked them to save us some. Also, at one point one of the servers knocked over and broke our sand ceremony vases. I know it was an accident, but an apology would have been nice. Overall Cynthia was very accommodating and helpful in my planning but I would have liked a more professional staff.
