    Beautiful cake

    We asked Denise to make our cake with buttercream icing instead of fondant. It was beautiful and delicious. I brought some leftovers to work and one of my coworkers said she had been dreaming of that cake! Denise also managed to deliver on time in spite of thunderstorms that day. Thanks Denise for helping make our day extra sweet.

    Exceptional value. DELICIOUS cake. Better than I could have imagined. We had a butter pecan cake with buttercream frosting, with a peacock design done in fondant. Beautiful and tasty. So glad we went with Cakes So Special.

    I met Denise Talbot and fell in love with her before I even tasted the cake. THEN I tasted the cake and I knew I had to book her. Her cakes were SO DELICIOUS. They were so moist. When I asked her if she uses fondant (which I hate), she said she thinks fondant tastes like "damnit." haha! She went on to tell me that HER fondant is made out of white chocolate and is to die for. I have to admit it was very very good. She was very easy to work with. She had answers to all my questions. She was pricey though. It was about $4 per slice. I would definately recommend her, even for just her personality alone! Here is a picture of my cake, with the detail work she did on it...
