Skilled DJ who serves the couple's every musical desire

I can't believe I never reviewed our dj. He was amazing. I'm ocd and he sometimes served as my life coach, helping get through wedding stress. I need some Haitian music played at our wedding and he went out of his way to find some. He also allowed me to send him songs. Whatever I wanted, he obliged. His mixing skills and crowd reading skills and impressive and among the best I've heard. He's also an energetic MC who keeps things moving and the guests engaged. He has a special thing he does for couples which is so sweet. He also did my sister's wedding and did and equally awesome job.
I surprised my husband with star wars characters and Vince orchestrated the actual surprise. It went off without a hitch!
You'll be happy you went with BSquare. I would gladly recommend his services to any couple.

Hands Down best DJ EVER

Vince and his team were amazing and made my wedding what it was. They were professional and kept every guest engaged in all of the wedding activities. The music he played throughout the wedding fit exactly what was going on at that time. Right before he opened the dance floor, he got everyone to form a circle around my husband and I. He started to ask the sentimental questions about us and with every answer he'd say, if you agree take one step forward. Once the circle was pretty tight he said, well you're on the dance floor now it's time to party. Everyone thought that was so amazing. He made our evening so special and for that, I'm forever thankful!

Wow! It does not get much better than these guys. I worked with DJ Major for my wedding and he was the entire package. He totally controlled the reception with his skills. Everything was perfect! If you are looking for a DJ/MC that is skillful, experienced, professional, relatable, flexible... perfect, choose BSquare Productions!

Vince was the DJ for my daughter's wedding on June 2 2018. He was wonderful!! He was flexible and kept the party going.
He kept all of the guests engaged and dancing. The best DJ I have seen. We were totally impressed by him! Vince was the key to making the reception a great experience!!!

I’ve now used Vince twice for B’nai Mitzvot and have been thrilled both times with the whole product. His ability to customize as well as his intuition allowed him to smoothly and seamlessly handle music and games throughout our receptions. I am extremely pleased and will recommend him to anybody for ANY EVENT. Thank you, Vince, for everything!

DJ Vince was amazing. It was really important to me that my wedding be fun which meant I wanted a lot of people to be able to dance. I received multiple compliments from guests about him. He was spectacular at setting the mood and running the wedding from the introductions, to the speeches, to getting the dancing started. I can't say enough about how great he was and how thankful I am that I picked him. He was very attentive; if the crowd wasn't feeling a song then he switched it up. He has an easy to use system that allows you to pick the songs you want and don't want and set up the schedule for the day of. I highly recommend DJ Vince. He really made my wedding special; everyone was out on the dance floor.

DJ Major was the DJ for my wedding and reception, he was the best! From the beginning to the end. He worked well with the workers in the venue. He is very efficient the day went by without any worries.

Vince and his team did a great job at our wedding! Set up was seamless and I barely noticed them while we were taking photos. The ceremony music and set up was great. They also did a great job playing songs everyone would love and felt out the vibe of the room. They also did a great job of not being cheesy and not letting things be awkward for us and the bridal.

- During our first dance he told us if we were ready for the song to stop just give him a nod and he would fade out the music
- He had the best man escort me off the dance floor so that my husband and his mom could have their dance together without it being awkward for me to walk away
- Before dinner I asked him to make an announcement to let us eat our dinner and we would come around after to say hi. He said "I got this" and went way above and beyond what I asked -- he actually had our guests repeat after him and promise they would let us eat our first meal together has husband and wife.
- He didn't play the cheesy "groom cuts the cake" song while we cut the cake
- He gave us a heads up when he was about to play the slow songs we requested so we could find each other
- He reminded people to use the photo booth

Overall he was very professional. I was worried about selecting a DJ because it's the one vendor whose work you can't see in advance but Vince exceeded all of our expectations and made our night spectacular and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

There are not enough words that I can express to you how DJ Major made our wedding day a true success! I promise you when I say, if you want your guests to get on the dance floor, he will do just that! He also was extremely helpful to my matron of honors, as they needed last minute help and turned a crisis into a success! He is truly the best of the best, knows how to read a crowd and seriously PROVIDE the best entertainment and music. He is top notch, talented and no other DJ has compared to what he does and able to create for your event. I know this because I have seen and been apart of many different avenues of him being a DJ from sporting events, parties, other weddings and even at a bar. I always knew he was going to be my DJ when the time came for me and I feel very blessed and thankful I had him! THANK YOU DJ MAJOR a million times over! You are the best!

Vince was PHENOMENAL and we couldn't have imagined our wedding or the planning of our wedding without him! Every time we spoke with him prior to the day he put us completely at ease and was always prepared for any crazy questions we threw at him. He had the best ideas and worked to make our day exactly what we envisioned and then even better. On the day, he and his assistant nailed several last minute curve balls (including a father/daughter song mash-up with only an hour's notice) with such professionalism our guests never would have known they weren't planned for! BSquare was even able to accommodate a guest with a sensitivity to synthesizers. I was probably most impressed with the team's ability to work the venue. It was an outdoor venue with a tented space and a patio area. Vince was able to bring the mic out to the patio for several events when he noticed most guests were out there (it acted as a second dance floor at times) or when the photographers suggested events be outside to take advantage of the great lighting. This brings up another piece of praise for Vince - he was able to communicate and work with all of our other vendors flawlessly! Our photographer was actually the one who recommended him, our DOC said she'd never seen a better DJ team, and even some of the catering staff mentioned how impressed they were with Vince's regard for us as the bride and groom (in making sure we were able to have our first meal uninterrupted). Our guests had nothing but praise as well (my grandma even kicked off her shoes to lead the bridal dance and show Vince "how it was done"), song requests (and impromptu dances) were accommodated, and Vince was always able to get guests on the dance floor or to participate in the events we had planned with great transition lines. The BSquare team was fun, energetic, completely understood the vibe of our wedding, and we truly had the best time. I can't thank BSquare enough!!!

Thank you again for everything you did on Saturday night. One of our coworkers, who has been with the company for over 20 years and has been to the company's holiday parties for over 18 years and he said it was ‘the best’ one he’s been to thus far! It really was such a good time and we have you to thank for making the venue so gorgeous with all the lighting effects and for keeping everyone on the dancefloor all night! Your (and your partner DJ's) talent and professionalism are truly remarkable. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Vince was absolutely incredible to work with. He was in charge of the ceremony AND reception music! The whole day and evening was flawless. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. Truly made our wedding a positively amazing experience. From the planning stages to execution...all was just great.

I could not have asked for a better DJ. Vince knew how to get people on the floor and keep the party going all night. I got so many compliments after the wedding on how great the music was and how much fun everyone had. I can't recommend BSquare Productions enough!

Vince is the Man! He is so responsive and helpful! If we had a question, he was quick to respond, gracious and flexible with me and my wife! We had a Big Fat Greek Wedding, and Vince was ready to go with some of the most popular Greek tunes. We also had a surprise "flash mob" that my best man coordinated, and Vince was so flexible and even did Live Light Changes throughout the 15 minute, unplanned production. I can't recommend Bsquare Productions enough. His gear is top notch, and his personality is perfect for emceeing your event!

I can't say enough about t BSquare Productions! Everything from lighting, music, MC, setup, and music selections made our wedding a magical event. My guest were floored and kept asking where did I find this vendor? There wasn't one minute of the entire evening people weren't on the floor dancing. BSquare productions helped to make my wedding day perfect!! After seeing them at a family member's wedding and how great they were, my husband and I wanted them at our wedding!! DJ Major (Vince) was so nice and helpful in planning out all the details. He helped me figure out what lighting I needed on my dance floor and their easy to use website made it easy to make our wedding playlist. DJ Charlie also helped out on our day and he arrived extra early for set up and to greet me, which was very nice. All of my processional & recessional songs were run perfectly by them! And they kept everyone dancing all night! SO glad I had BSquare productions at my wedding!!!!

I first heard about DJ Vince Major after he came highly recommended from family members who raved about him following an event, and after a phone conversation (he promptly responded to my online inquiry less than 24 hours after I emailed), it was an immediate decision to hire him for our wedding. From that first conversation to our wedding day, DJ Major could not have been more quick to answer any questions (and patient, since I had so many!), and his online method for selecting song preferences and other details (lighting, wedding party names) was simple to follow and easy to update. DJ Major arrived early to our venue and personally greeted myself and the wedding party. His enthusiastic introductions set the tone for the whole evening: no one left the dance floor all night, with a variety of music and wonderful pacing to each song and transition of events, which notably included a special father-daughter dance and my groom being hoisted on his shoulders by his friends! DJ Major checked in with myself and the groom several times to ask if we were pleased with the songs (we were), took requests from guests, and worked well with our coordinator on the timeline of the evening. Most importantly, he was gracious, professional, and personal. We had numerous guests tell us it was the best wedding they've attended, and I genuinely believe it was due in huge part to DJ Major!!

BSquare Productions made sure my event was FABULOUS and they are affordable. If you are looking for a top notch DJ service, call BSquare Productions! The DJ was prompt, professional and kept people on the dance floor. Prior to my event, the DJ made an appointment with the event coordinator to view the venue and determine the best location for the equipment. She added a special touch by including up lighting. I would definitely use this service again.

We loved working with DJ Major! He promised a lot and came through with even more! Our dance floor was filled all evening with great tunes! The lights were fabulous, and we can't wait until our next Gala event to work with BSquare Productions again!

I am a local DMV wedding Planner and hands down "DJ Vince" is awesome! I have worked with him on a few events and I have never seen an empty dance floor with his DJing. Also, if you need uplighting, he also will provide that as well. He is very professional and has a huge selection of music as well so you can't go wrong!

BSquare Productions has highly skilled DJ's with high quality tech. Their professionalism, ability to read the crowd, flexible demeanor and fun atmosphere made for a perfect wedding! They took care of anything and everything I asked for. The fact that you can submit a timeline and play list before the wedding made planning easier and the wedding worry free. I chose to deviate from the timeline I had submitted and the DJ's were happy to do what I asked. The crowd absolutely loved them! My grandfather decided to sing some impromptu karaoke and my mother taught everyone the electric slide. I've gotten so many compliments on how the DJ's performed and how professional they were. I would recommend their services to anyone and everyone!! Thank you so much BSquare!!

B Square is an amazing company! Their DJ's have done several of our events in the past and we have never had an issue. We hired them for a wedding most recently and it was outdoors and obscenely cold, these pros still slugged through it and made sure that all the people were up and dancing, enjoying the amazing wedding reception. B Square will always be our first call whenever we need a DJ!

Could not have hired a better person for our wedding reception! The lighting Vince brought blew me away and made the venue look even more beautiful. The music was AMAZING!!!! People were dancing all night. Vince is also incredibly professional and kind- the best vendor we worked with.

BSquare Productions was the best DJ company I've had.. From choosing of the music and playing my party themed song was everything... The process was smooth and Vince was very patient and understood my vision.. I will definitely use him again for my next event which i hope is my wedding or any orther event.. Vince and his team were awesome! We had been to an event before and the music was so great that we contacted him to play the music for my husband's 40th birthday party. He was super friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. Our guests all commented on how they had a blast!

Vince's DJ services were wonderful. He listened well, he had a huge choice of music to pick from. He played music that was quiet and relaxing during the dinner. and then played songs that he had been asked to do for the rest of the reception.

He was willing to take the sound up or down, based on request of Bride Groom or anyone.

He even brought in a fog machine for the 1st dance which was way cool. The children that were there seriously enjoyed the music as did all.

Major was the BEST DJ we could have asked for. He was very responsive, timely, and easy to work with. Throughout the planning process, Vincent had us create a profile on his website where we could list all of the necessary information for the event (ie. ceremony music, first dance song, list of the bridal party, parents of the bride & groom, introduction music, time line, and even an opportunity to request MUST play and DO NOT play songs from a vast music library—he also downloaded any song I wanted that he didn’t have in the library). The day before the wedding he called to confirm our lighting requests and inquired about a back-up rain plan in case it rained.
DJ Major was very organized. He helped us stick to our time line, and gave each speaker plenty of notice before their speech so they had time to prepare. He would also announce a ten minute notice before the cake cutting and the bouquet/garter toss so guests would not miss the event.
Aside from this professionalism DJ Major was fun and interactive. He was able to sense the music the guests responded best to and would switch it up to keep everyone (even our grandparents) on the dance floor! Throughout the night we had many people say this is the best DJ they have ever had at a wedding.
If you are looking for a DJ you can stop your search right now. DJ Major is the best one you will find!

Char'Lee was extremely professional, arriving on time at our nonprofit's fundraiser, setting up with no fuss, providing music at a volume that entertained and yet let us continue conversations. If we needed to make an announcement, he promptly gave us the floor and the microphone. His music choices were great for the crowd, and when we shifted to the more fun part of the evening, he was ready! He was flexible and adapted to our needs (announcements, shorts speeches, a DVD presentation) throughout our four hour event. We were very fortunate to have him!

BSquare Productions was definitely the way to go! Vince helped me plan everything every step of the way! I decided to do a "surprise father/daughter dance" and Vince was able to create the perfect mix for us to do that. Anytime I asked for a change he was willing to do so no matter how late in the day it was. Vince did an awesome job getting our day organized for us and made suggestions when we had no idea what we were doing. Vince ended up not making it our actual wedding, however his associate Gary was our DJ, and he did an awesome job! Everyone had a great time on the dance floor, and Gary didn't miss a beat! He ended up having to switch our timeline around a little bit since we were running slightly behind on a few things, but it didn't matter because everything ended up flowing very nicely. He would make sure he communicated with as far as time went, and anytime my husband and I would go up to request a song, he made sure to play it right away. BSquare Productions was top notch, good quality, excellent price and you could definitely tell they have the wedding experience you want you wedding DJ to have! I will definitely keep BSquare Productions in mind for any future events and recommend to all my friends and family! You won't go wrong if you pick this vendor as your DJ!

Vince went above and beyond to make our day perfect! He spent hours with me on the phone making sure I had everything I wanted and to make sure I was on top of picking the songs I wanted. He was entertaining and knows how to draw the guests to the dance floor. I have been to plenty of weddings where the dj does his own thing and it doesn't work, usually ending up in people sitting down and killing the mood. I had so many people tell me at and after the wedding how amazing he was, and I now have a friend who is using him for her wedding next year! I could keep going, but all in all Vince is incredible, and if you are looking for a wedding or event dj, it's him! !!

DJ Major (Vince) was the best! We do not have friends and family that dances much, but he kept people on the dance floor all night. Also, my now family-in-law is Greek and he played all of the Greek music we requested. Even when my Father-in-law asked if he could plug in his phone for a specific song he wanted, Vince was gracious and agreed. In addition to the wonderful music his lighting design was amazing! It looked great in the room and also in our pictures. We just had our wedding at Chestnut Hill Bed and Breakfast on May 16, 2015 and we asked Vince Brantley to come out and DJ for us. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made! From start to finish Vince made the planning and day of run smoothly. His website is very user friendly and he allows you to make custom list based off of “must play,” “play if possible,” and “do not play.” Our reception was pushed back a few hours due to rain and Vince was flexible with our timeline and ensured we stayed on track for all of the nightly events! We had a very mixed group of guest and Vince did an amazing job reading the crowd and ensuring that he played music to fit everyone’s style to make sure everyone got on the dance floor! We had soooo many of our guest come up to us during and after the reception to tell us how incredible they thought Vince was! Thank you Vince for making our night unforgettable!

Hands down best DJ ever. The most common compliment we get for our wedding is that we had amazing music and the dancing never stopped. Multiple guests have said they only want him to do their future weddings!

It was such a fun night and it would not have been the same without the music. We danced all night to all kinda of music - pop, country, rock, hip hop. Somehow he made it all flow seamlessly.

We hired Vince to DJ for my son's high school graduation party and he did a phenomenal job. Vince is professional and well organized. Weeks before the party he requested a list of songs we wanted to hear. Of course we planned activities to take place during the party, therefore, certain songs needed to play for each activity. He played all of the music requested at the given time. He fine tuned all of the music in advance to make sure the best sound quality, blended the music well and played music that was appropriate for all age groups. He arrived on time to allow enough time for setting up his equipment and had all the high tech equipment needed to make the party the best graduation party every. Thanks Vince!! Job well done. You are the DJ of choice for all my future party venues.

Vince is an absolute pleasure to work with! He worked two corporate events for my company, and rocked the house at both of them! I cannot say enough about how awesome DJ Major was for our wedding. We had met DJ Major previously at a local event and asked him if he would be a part of our special 24 hour day. Without hesitation or questions DJ Major coordinated all the MCing and partying with no hiccups. Vince provided an extrodinary moveable event as the DJ for my 50th Birthday Party. The event is still talked about a year later. I don't know where to begin Vince was such a great DJ for my holiday party!! He is one of the absolute best that I've ever had and I've been doing this now for 21 years I highly recommend him!! His light show was an AWESOME addition to the dance floor! There was never a Pause he kept the music going and there was always a microphone ready for speeches, raffles and karoke!!

DJ Major did a splendid job at this wedding. He coordinated very closely with me during the reception to ensure that everything was timed like it should have been. First, his pre-wedding prep calms your nerves and makes you think about things that you probably haven't even considered yet. So A+++. Price very reasonable, A+++. So on the big day, there were a lot of things that our guests raved about, but the #1 compliment besides the bride and groom, was the DJ. Our guest demographic was 50% WV country and 50% DC urban. Young and old was happy with him. DJ major had all the cool lights and took our guests in consideration. Only two times did I hear a song that was too much and it was like the DJ was staring at me and knew I wanted it off. He was so good that he just sled the offending song into something that was on my playlist. Not the DJ's fault for playing a song I wasn't fond of bc we wanted him to play some music our guests requested. There are only a couple of things I would do exactly the same or recommend highly, our venue and our DJ!

Incredible service and experience! Everyone at the wedding was extremely impressed Vince's showmanship and how he so easily commanded the room. Extremely professional, he came well dressed and took direction very easily. He definitely made the event more lively towards the end of the night and included a special touch that was so memorable for us.

Music selection was amazing and the guests had so much fun! He had a range of music played so that everyone would feel comfortable on the dance floor. We were so thrilled to have him as our DJ and I would strongly urge future brides to enlist his help!

It was a pleasure to work with Vince and his associate, Trent, who DJ'd our wedding. Earlier that year, we signed up for “Wedding in a Box” to get some potential vendor discounts. Bsquare was the only vendor that we actually used from it, and it was great to get a $500 discount!

The event planning website was easy to use and kept everything organized for us. The only songs that were not available in the system were specific instrumental versions that we wanted for our ceremony processional and a sped up version of our first dance song. We just emailed those separately; no problem.

Communication with Vince was the one area that left room for improvement. He mentioned prior to signing a contract that he has a full-time job aside from DJing and would be unavailable during regular business hours, but it took a little longer than expected to get a response. We eventually learned his best method of contact is texting, so that's how we were able to communicate quickly as it got closer to our wedding day. It also put our minds at ease to meet with Vince and Trent in person the week before our wedding.

The reception was a blast, and Trent really got a feel for what kind of music people liked to dance to. We chose not to have a cake cutting or bouquet/garter toss, so we just had the music go all night after dinner! Our only gripe is that a song from our do-not-play list was played. During our meeting, we explained that we didn't want any organized line dances (Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Wobble, etc.), but the Macarena was played as our last song. It was ok, since a lot of people were out on the floor dancing, but it was not our preferred way to end the evening.

All in all, we would definitely recommend Bsquare Productions to anyone looking for a good, affordable DJ!

DJing was good - Communication was not

Vince and his team did a great job at DJing the wedding utilizing the songs that we provided. They did mix the two genres we requested and it was a good balance. At points songs we requested to play towards the end of the night were played in the beginning of the night. It wasn’t a huge deal but a lot of the hiccups could have been fixed with better communication and planning with our wedding coordinators instead of ignoring their calls/emails/texts.

Areas for improvement are the following:
Communication - At first Vince said specifically that he would be the DJ at our wedding. To our surprise he didn’t show up he had one of his colleagues that we never spoke to. Our wedding coordinators had a hard time getting ahold of them to discuss the day of events/ schedules. After 4 emails and calls from the coordinators I picked up the phone and called them twice and finally got ahold of them. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get ahold of a vendor.

MCing the event: The DJ at our event miss read half of the bridal party’s introductions/ order of when they came out. Again this could have been fixed if they took the time to review items with our coordinator instead of winging it.

Their DJs skills were good, majority of the time they kept the party going, however Communication and planning needs work.
