We worked with Jimmy & Anya through two postponements, as well as a micro wedding. At every turn they were supportive, patient, and clear that they were only a call away. Their attention to detail in the planning phase was astonishing, and that was taken up 10x further when it came to day of support and capturing every important moment. To give you just one example, Anya helping me with my bustle so I could go in and catch the end of the happy hour and Jimmy helping my husband to make sure his suit was all set for action. They stayed all night, capturing all the beautiful memories you want to reflect on far into the future.

When we got our photos back we were in awe all over again. They had the perfect balance of capturing all the photos you want, as well as the photos you could not have dreamed up if you tried.

After working with Prudente Photography through an engagement shoot, a micro wedding and our wedding day -- I would hire them again in a heat beat and I recommend that you do too!

Best wedding photographer!!!

We are so glad we hired Jimmy & Anya as our wedding photographers! First of all, they are serious couple goals. So sweet, down to earth, and absolutely hilarious! They took the most beautiful photos of our family and friends, and captured so many great moments on our special day. In the engagement session, they even had a sewing kit handy to fix the button falling off a coat! They made the entire wedding weekend stress free and super efficient - capturing every possible photo and telling everyone what to do in a fun and organized way. We HIGHLY recommend the Prudentes to all couples! They are the truly best!

Best photographers! Perfectly captured our day

We were so lucky to have Jimmy & Anya with us on our wedding day to capture our big day. I researched a lot of photographers, but the second I saw their work - I knew they were perfect for us. Jimmy & Anya were incredibly easy to work with, so genuine and passionate about what they do. They work so well together and are insanely talented. We were obsessed with our engagement photos and are even more obsessed with our wedding photos. Beyond our expectations. They managed to perfectly capture our day, and they made it look easy! Photos were so seamless and organized - we felt more like we were hanging out with friends than doing formal portraits. They also did much more than their role of photographer - they helped keep us on schedule, solve any minor issues that came up, and were honestly very fun to be around. (We found all of our time in front of the camera to be not only painless, but genuinely enjoyable!) The best part was our 100% confidence and trust in them - we gave them little direction and they perfectly captured the day exactly how we would have. It made our lives so much easier knowing we were in the best of hands. We cannot recommend them enough!!

Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I cannot rave enough about Jimmy and Anya. Not only do they work hard and take phenomenal photos, but they truly went above and beyond their role as photographers on our wedding day. Seriously! At one point, I spilled red wine all over my wedding dress - Jimmy was the first to leap up and get seltzer, a Tide to go pen and then some white wine - within MINUTES all trace of a stain was gone! It was incredible! He literally saved my wedding dress and many photos yet to come. He also knew the exact trick when my dad's neck was too big for the bowtie - Jimmy saved the day by MacGyver-ing a solution with a hair tie! Anya, meanwhile, was equally an angel by helping me with my dress as it shaped and shifted throughout the entire day. As you can read, Jimmy and Anya, did much more than their role of photographer, and we can't thank them enough for being not just huge helpers, but honestly fun to be around. A friend gave us advice when choosing photographers that you want people you'll enjoy spending the full day with, because in some ways, you spend more time with them the day of your wedding than with anyone else. If you're looking for two photographers who not only taking amazing photos, but do it with a smile, and help you navigate your biggest day with minimal downs, I could not recommend a better pair! Their attention to detail and our wishes, their ability to jump in the second assistance was needed, their enjoyable and flexible demeanor and great partnership, made the biggest day of our lives, the happiest day of our lives. We loved working with Jimmy and Anya and know you will too!

The best!

I can’t recommend Jimmy & Anya enough! If you are newly engaged, book them right now. The quality of their work alone would be enough, but their personalities and ability to make everyone comfortable puts them over the top. Neither my husband or I really enjoy getting our pictures taken, but that changed with the Prudentes behind the cameras. We were dreading the awkwardness of an engagement shoot, but by the end of it were both saying “wow, that was actually fun”. You won’t have to force many if any fake smiles, since they’ll keep you laughing and talking the entire time. They brought that same amazing energy on our wedding day, and I lost count of the compliments I received from guests (“so professional”, “work so well together”, “so organized”, “so personable”, etc. etc.) They also showed a sneak peak of a few pictures during our reception, which everyone LOVED. I know there are many options when looking for a photographer, but they really are the best of the best!

Jimmy and Anya are #goals

When I sat down to write this review, I didn't know where to start or how to say all that I wanted to say in a paragraph or two. Do I talk about how friendly, easy-going and professional Jimmy and Anya were throughout the entire wedding process? Do I mention that after meeting with them once, they felt like old friends and my husband and I knew immediately that we had to work with them? Or, do I focus on how comfortable they made us feel in front of the camera as they captured both our engagement session and entire wedding day? I decided to read some of the recent reviews and quickly realized there was a steady, reoccurring theme… everyone loves Jimmy and Anya Prudente!

So, let me share a few of the reasons why my husband and I love Jimmy and Anya. They exceeded all of our expectations and made the whole wedding planning process stress free and fun. They helped fine tune our wedding timeline and prioritize what we wanted captured. We couldn't be happier with the finished photos and will cherish each and every one (and you get thousands!) for years to come.

Incredible!!!

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible Prudente Photography is. Jimmy and Anya are true professionals and surpassed all of our expectations. They are so friendly and truly made the whole process stress free and fun. Even with their large amount of clients, they make you feel like you’re the only one.

Throughout our entire wedding planning process, they were very responsive with emails and phone calls. Anya was able to help me with a wedding timeline and helped me to prioritize shots I wanted to ensure that my husband and I would be able to enjoy our whole wedding.

When we received our finished photos, we were blown away! They perfectly captured our entire day and we felt like we could relive every moment. The photos were stunning and we couldn’t be happier. We HIGHLY recommend Prudente Photography. We will certainly cherish our wedding photos for years to come.

We booked Jimmy & Anya for our April 2018 wedding in Boston and they were truly amazing from the start to the finish! Very responsive, fair pricing (especially when you get both of them!) super fun, and amazing quality photos! They captured so many of the moments we wanted to see and since we didn't get a videographer, we really relied on them to make sure our wedding came to life in the photos and could be something we look back on forever. They didn't let us down! When the photos were ready, they even invited us to their home to see the pictures. Their children are just adorable and we were so grateful they welcomed us into their home. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants stress free wedding photographers!

Jimmy and Anya are seriously the best! This husband and wife team work awesome together and are so easy to get along with! They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and all their photos come out beautiful. The morning of the wedding Jimmy and Anya kept us to our timeline and captured amazing moments with our bridal party. At our reception they found awesome spots around our venue and took the most beautiful photos. There hasn't been one person who hasn't commented on how beautiful the photos were and how talented the photographers were! We can't wait to get our album through them!

We could not have asked for a better experience than we had with the Prudentes! Jimmy and Anya each have amazing personalities that give them a unique ability to capture amazing pictures while making everyone feel comfortable. The are extremely professional, diligent and charismatic! We were lucky enough to have three little flower girls in our wedding (ages 1 - 5) and Anya was truly extraordinary when the kids started to get tired half way through pictures.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Prudentes to anyone looking for a special event photographer!

We are so happy that we chose to work and Jimmy and Anya for our wedding day, they are truly THE BEST! Jimmy and Anya took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for in regards to our engagement and wedding photos. They were very quick to respond to any emails/phone calls both prior to and after the wedding, which we appreciate! They were open to our ideas for engagement photos and locations and helped to make it exactly what we envisioned. We have never been the ones to be super comfortable in front of the camera, but Jimmy and Anya made the entire process so simple and natural. On the day of our wedding, Jimmy and Anya went far above and beyond. Aside from taking the most beautiful pictures, they helped keep the entire process stress free, fun and organized. It was so nice to be able to take all the photos we wanted to with friends, family, and the two of us, and still have enough time to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. Their attention to detail, amazing personalities and professionalism make the price for their services beyond reasonable. We are so happy with our choice and cannot recommend Jimmy and Anya enough!

The best of the best. They absolutely nailed it. There is no better feeling than to look through the photos of your wedding and truly be blown away. Jimmy and Anya were a joy to be around. They are kind and they are funny. On top of that, they are so well planned and organized. They helped me with the timing and coordination of the entire day. A well oiled machine when it came to getting family and group pictures, everyone was so impressed. They were so creative when it came to our personal and candid pictures. The outcome was pure beauty.

Jimmy and Anya are the best. The Prudentes photographed my sister and brother-in-law's wedding back in 2015 and as soon as I got engaged and had a venue in mind, I knew I needed to plan my wedding date based on their availability. Their dynamic as a husband and wife team truly works in their favor - they work together SO well and make the whole experience so much fun.

We loved that they offer engagement photos as part of their package because it allowed us to get comfortable with them and in front of the camera before our wedding day. They were so accommodating with date and time and got the engagement photos back to us so quickly. Additionally, they are so knowledgeable about running the wedding day and were so responsive to all my of emails about timing and how things would work on the big day.

When it came time for the wedding, Anya and I had a call the week before and went over all of the details. On the day of, they arrived on time and ready to work and have fun. I love that though they take their work seriously, they do not take themselves too seriously and made the wedding day/moments fun and lighthearted. At times, it actually felt like they could have been invited guests because they were so easy to talk to and we had so much fun with them. I completely trusted their judgement with the way pictures were coming out and appreciated the honest feedback they would give as they shot. The Prudentes were so organized and the family/bridal party shots went very quickly.

We had the most wonderful experience with Jimmy and Anya and are so thankful they photographed our wedding day.

We booked Jimmy & Anya for our Indian fusion wedding. From our first phone conversation with them, we felt super comfortable. They blew us away at our Engagement session with the photos and their fun, playful demeanor. It was really great to have both of them playing off each other to come up with great photo ops, and they also were super receptive to our requests for specific photos. On our wedding day, there were so many moving parts with 2 separate ceremonies, group photos in 2 separate outfits, a first look, a baraat, and the reception. I knew that my mind would be spinning and I was looking for a photographer that would be able to take charge, efficiently instruct groups during photos and not make it feel like we were taking pictures allllllll day. Jimmy & Anya were amazing and they blended seamlessly with the crowd & needless to say got amazing shots. We were so so happy with our photos. They even made us a super cute slideshow to music that helped us relive the day! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

Prudente Photography is the best! We are so happy we chose them as our wedding photographers! Jimmy and Anya are amazing at what they do, and they're also very personable and easy to work with! Jimmy and Anya are the BEST!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing duo. The moment my fiance and I met Jimmy and Anya, we knew we wanted to work with them. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, they were very kind, professional, fun, and organized. They have an incredible eye for detail and make photo sessions a ton of fun!! Jimmy and Anya could not have been more incredible! From the first moment we met them for coffee to chat, we knew we wanted them to be a part of our big day. The fun energy and professionalism they bring to their work is unparalleled. Their hilarious jokes and natural air will have you feeling comfortable instantly and did I mention that their talent is AMAZING? They have such a natural and incredible ability to find the best shot, lighting, location, etc. They know exactly the cues to give to make every photo genuine and candid. From our engagement session to the wedding, Jimmy and Anya are artists through and through. Not only did our photos come out more gorgeous than we could have ever imagined, but Jimmy and Anya were an incredible asset to the overall day. You can tell they've done this a time or two in the way they effortlessly keep the day running on time. They coordinated directly with our venue and MC to ensure that everything ran perfectly, without us ever having to worry! In fact, when I began to get a bit nervous and overwhelmed the morning of, Anya took me away from the group to take some portrait shots and catch my breath. Honestly, our day would not have been nearly what it was without Jimmy and Anya, and we have (and will continue to) recommend them to everyone we know. You will never for a second regret choosing Jimmy and Anya for your special day!

Jimmy and Anya are the best! My husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera but they guided us through our engagement and wedding photos and both turned out to be absolutely amazing! They work so well together being a husband and wife team and they approach each photo from a different angle, which resulted in a variety of great shots. The day of our wedding our DJ was a mess and had to be replaced and we were pretty upset while waiting for the new one to arrive. Jimmy and Anya jumped in during the awkward period, made us feel better, and seized the opportunity to take pictures. They felt like friends who fit naturally into our wedding. Our guests and parents commented on how much they liked them and how comfortable they made them feel, and more than one person told us they took the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen. We highly recommend them!

From start to finish Jimmy and Anya were a pleasure to work with. Their organization with preplanning and execution was flawless. Our photographers were our favorite part of our wedding. Jimmy and Anya were amazing and I am so glad we went with them for our wedding photography. They were probably the 10th wedding photographers we had met with and we could tell they were by far the best. They were so welcoming and knowledgable about what they were doing. That knowledge absolutely showed in their photos. I had multiple guests tell me how amazing both our wedding and our engagement pictures came out. They were so flexible and Jimmy responded to all my crazy bride emails as everything continued to change (as it usually does in a wedding). I cannot express how much I appreciate all the work they did to make our wedding special. My husband and I are both very uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Jimmy and Anya were so easy to work with that it made us so relaxed. Again, I can't stress this enough... THEY WERE THE BEST DECISION WE MADE ABOUT OUR WEDDING!

UNBELIEVABLE!! We are so lucky to have found Jimmy and Anya thanks to mutual friends who used them for their wedding. They are both wonderful people inside and out and their photography is truly untouchable. My now husband and I were pretty particular about the style of photography we wanted for our wedding and as soon as we saw Prudente's photos, we were hooked. Jimmy and Anya were so attentive the entire time, so helpful and comforting, and most of all, take the most amazing photos anyone could ever ask for. They truly are better than anything we could have wished for and are so grateful to have had them for our special day.

I don't think I can say enough positive things about my experience with Anya and Jimmy. From beginning to end, they exceeded all of my expectations. Not only did I enjoy them as people, they also produced the most beautiful work I could have hoped for.

As soon as I met Jimmy and Anya, I knew they would be the best people to capture all the great moments from our day. Their attitude was relaxed, fun, and confident- which was exactly what we needed. Planning a wedding can can be confusing and involve a lot of guesswork. The Prudentes are super knowledgeable about the entire process and familiar with all the local vendors, which made everything so much easier.

On the day of, Anya was my wedding guru, and kept me completely calm and relaxed. Her and Jimmy make such an amazing team, and it was so comforting knowing that Jimmy was with my fiance the whole afternoon. During the wedding, I was so impressed by how both Anya and Jimmy blended into the crowd. They managed to get amazing shots while being totally unobtrusive. Yet whenever I would say, "Can we get a photo with this group?" Anya would immediately appear. They were magical!

The photos: I could cry, I was so happy with them. They do such beautiful work, and the entire album turned out amazing. My fiance and I both felt pretty awkward in front of a camera, so I was worried that would come through- but it didn't show at all. They somehow made us look totally relaxed and natural. They have an amazing eye for light and positioning- they really know what they're doing. They were also cracking us up the whole time, which helped a lot with nerves.

I think everyone should hire Anya and Jimmy. They are seriously everything you could ask for in wedding photographers!

Jimmy and Anya were the absolute BEST photographers to work with! We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Not only is their work amazing, but they go above and beyond for their couples. From helping us think through the flow and timeline of the day, all the way through lighting and logistics, they truly had everything covered and showed that they are true experts in their field. I also appreciated how thoughtful and easy to work with they were. They felt like great friends right from the start! We were so nervous for our engagement session and did not know what to expect and they made us feel comfortable instantly. We could not stop laughing throughout the whole session. They have an eye to create the most exquisite and unique shots. After our engagement session we could not wait to see them again at our wedding. We had a terrific experience working with Prudente Photography for our 4/30/2016 wedding. Jimmy and Anya are an incredible team and truly strike a great balance between personal and professional. From day one, we felt this pair understood what we were looking for from our pictures and were able to execute accordingly. The engagement shoot that they offered was a great way to get to know the two personally, and made us so comfortable in front of them on the day of the wedding. On that note, we really appreciated having two photographers on The Big Day - Anya spent the morning with the girls at our hair and makeup salon, and Jimmy spent the morning with the guys. They were able to capture every moment of our day, and yet did so in an unassuming, unobtrusive way. We both felt that Jimmy and Anya were extra friends on the day of our wedding, whether it was assisting the guys with their boutinnieres or helping me with last minute accessory decisions, they went out of their way to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We had a wedding of over 200 guests, and they were able to accommodate a long list of mandatory shots, and to capture an amazing array of candids as well. Jimmy and Anya were AMAZING! We immediately felt comfortable with them from the first time we met at our engagement session last May. On the day of our wedding we knew we were in great hands! To say that Jimmy and Anya are great photographers would be an understatement. These two are much more than that. They are a great team and downright amazing people. They played a huge part in our special day. They took the time to get to know us right from the initial meeting we had 12 months before our wedding and continue to be in communication with us even though our wedding was 10 months ago. I never imagined hiring someone to photograph my wedding would turn into anything more than a business interaction but I was certainly wrong. Jimmy and Anya are very passionate and devoted to what they do and will do anything to make sure your event turns out the way you envisioned it. Hands down, Prudente Photography is the best! They're so fun and easy going and go above and beyond to make your wedding day memorable. For example, I had prepared a slideshow to be played during our first dance, but our DJ played dumb and said he didn't know to play it even though we had discussed it extensively beforehand. So Jimmy and Anya, seeing how upset I was, came up with the idea to do a quick development of photos they had taken THAT DAY, worked with my event manager to get their slideshow on a compatible laptop and surprised me by showing photos from my wedding day AT my reception. They are so incredible- not only are they very talented, but they're just great people.

Jimmy and Anya were recommended to us and we are so so happy they were! They are such a fun, down-to-earth couple. They made us feel SO comfortable on our wedding day and basically acted as our wedding coordinators guiding us on how and when we need to do things such as cake cutting, etc. Their package deal is amazing and includes their time for the ENTIRE day! They fulfilled all of our wishes, capturing every moment we asked for. Prudente's pictures come out so beautiful - crisp, clean, and perfect! Jimmy and Anya were the most amazing wedding photographers to work with! They were so comfortable and personable; it was like having your friends there with professional cameras! They made the daunting task of posing for pictures at our reception, that much easier and more enjoyable! They captured all of the details that were meticulously planned on film - from the menu cards, to the accessories we wore as bride and groom, to the sailboat folded napkins on the tables, and guests signing our guestbook. The couple portraits they took are gorgeous as well. They have a fantastic eye for 'different' which is something my husband and I absolutely love.
We received our digital images less than a month after our reception and were so pleased with how stunning the quality of the photographs was. Most importantly, they captured the pure happiness of our day on camera. After sorting through all of the images together as a couple, we realized how wonderfully special the day was for us as well as our guests. Jimmy and Anya from Prudente Photography are no short of amazing. The entire process working with them was perfect from the start. For our engagement photos, they drove all the way out to Amherst, MA just to get pictures at the place we met. And those pictures were plentiful and beautiful. For they actual wedding, they had our timeline down, knew exactly where to be and when, and everything ran smoothly. Our pictures were ready for us in one short month and were absolutely perfect. Wow! Where do I even start? First, Jimmy and Anya Prudente are such wonderful people with huge hearts. My husband and I just absolutely adore them. After getting engaged, I told my husband that my #1 priority for our wedding was to have the perfect photographer(s) and have amazing pictures that we can cherish forever. I found Prudente Photography through some college friends who worked with Jimmy & Anya for their weddings/engagement photos. So I checked out Prudente's website and I just KNEW they were the ones. Jimmy and Anya's style and creativity was exactly my vision for how I wanted our wedding day captured. I reached out to Jimmy and Anya and received a response so quickly. Within days, we had a date and time to meet! As soon as we met them, I knew they were the ones. They made my husband and I feel so at home with their down-to-earth personalities. We couldn't hire Jimmy & Anya fast enough. At the time of hiring them, we hadn't even had our venue or bridal party picked out, but I knew for sure they were it. They are the only photographers that we even spoke to during the wedding planning process. Absolutely no regrets about not reaching out to additional photographers. Jimmy and Anya were very transparent during the entire process in regard to price, timelines, etc. which I really appreciate. Prudente's prices are extremely fair and reasonable. They are very easy to get in touch with and respond so quickly. Making appointments with them for engagement photos, etc. was always a breeze since they're so flexible. During the engagement shoot and for wedding portraits, they made my husband and I feel so comfortable and relaxed and provided a lot of instruction (which we needed because we didn't have any clue what we were doing!). I can't say enough good things about Anya and Jimmy. First of all, since they are a husband-and-wife duo, they totally understand your wedding day from the bride and groom's POV. They made the wedding photography process so fun and comfortable. We had lots of laughs which I loved because your wedding is joyous and they captured those feelings.

Further, Anya and Jimmy are both so nice and so wonderful at their job. Our engagement pictures were beautiful and our wedding pictures are just outstanding. I've had many friends (who used different photographers) and were very disappointed in those photographers because they only liked a few of their pictures from the whole day. What a shame. I can't imagine because we are obsessed with hundreds of our pictures!!

Also their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the Boston area. They really could charge alot more given the quality of their products.

If you want beautiful wedding pictures that you will adore for the rest of your life, then you should definitely use Prudente.

Jimmy and Anya are truly the best! Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos are unbelievably beautiful. When my husband and I first met Jimmy and Anya, it was as if we had known each other for years! They have amazing personalities-which was something we had been looking for in our wedding photographers. We wanted someone who could ease our nerves, since we had never been professionally photographed before and someone who would make us feel comfortable and they did just that!

On our wedding day they spent the entire day with us, Anya started the day at the salon with me and my girls and Jimmy started the day at the hotel that my husband was staying at. They didn't leave until our final dance was over! Jimmy and Anya made us laugh the whole time-which I loved-they were amazing all day! We had many many compliments about how wonderful they were and how beautiful our Photos are!

The day we picked up our photos, they invited us over to their home where we spent a couple hours talking and cracking up just like old friends! The wedding slideshow they put together for us made me cry and still does when I watch it! This meeting was bittersweet for us, we loved them so much and we didn't want our time together to end! Good thing they offer family portrait sessions for when we start our family!

My husband and I are so happy we found Jimmy and Anya and we would recommend them in a heartbeat (which we already have!).

It truly was an incredible experience working with Jimmy and Anya. They both photographed our engagement session which was a stifling summer day, and they made us feel comfortable and focused. We loved our engagement photos so much that we used them for our magnetic Save the Dates (which they designed for us) and for Thank You’s for the bridal shower. For the next eight months, we exchanged emails and phone calls, all of which were efficient and friendly. On our wedding day, we felt so much support from both of them. Whenever I had a question (most of the time it was about the wedding timeline and what I should be doing at that moment), they calmed our nerves and were able to direct us. Our pictures came out better than we could have ever imagined. The quality of the pictures was amazing (the colors, the special moments they caught). We are so IN LOVE with these photos. After my partner and I got engaged a year before our wedding, we first locked in the venue and caterer. The next vendor for us was to find the perfect photographer. After scowling the WeddingWire and the Knot for reviews and portfolios we found Prudente and fell in love with their work and that the owners Anya and Jimmy were a couple was beautiful.

We had a wonderful Engagement session in Boston and they suggested great locations and we felt immediately comfortable with them both. They checked in with us as the big day approached to make sure everyone was on the same page.

The day of the wedding they were the first vendor to arrive and guided us in taking dress up shots and family shots. Throughout the day there were able to take to weave through the guests shooting moments in time without being noticed and thus capturing our guests genuine emotions, rather than staged portraits.

We were very pleased with their work and certainly recommend them for your own special day.

It's hard to review Jimmy and Anya because words aren't enough to capture what these two talented photographers bring to the table.

From the first email, to meeting for coffee, to the engagement shoot, to the last picture taken at the wedding, these two have been professional, prompt and fun to work with. You can tell they love what they do and what they do is just the best.

Anya and Jimmy captured the most amazing pictures of my fiancé Eric and I for our engagement session. Prudente Photography was recommended to us by a friend and let me tell you, they are ridiculously awesome at what they do! From the moment we contacted Anya and Jimmy they were prompt, professional and answered all of our questions and never once seemed annoyed. I mean hey we hadn't done this before, I think I asked them at least 20 questions, from what to wear, how to do my hair, if we could bring our dog. They were so easy to get along with that it felt like we had two friends with us throughout our wedding day and the level of ease that provided us with comes across in our (gorgeous!) pictures. They work so well together and were always exactly where they needed to be to get perfect shots. They even offered us much-appreciated advice throughout the wedding reception to help us have the best time possible. Our pictures were ready only a few weeks after the wedding and they're perfect; Jimmy's and Anya's remarkable artistic talents took our wedding photos above and beyond what I could have imagined they would be. I can honestly say that without Jimmy and Anya our wedding would not have been complete. They met my wife at 8 am to make sure she had coverage of every special moment and they exceeded any expectation would could have asked for. Besides their professionalism they both display an incredible pride in their craft and being at your wedding seems to be a happy time for them. They are inviting, good hearted people who in crunch time will do anything to help. For example when my wife's limo picked them up the driver was dead set that the girls couldn't fit their dresses in the limo and someone would have to take them separately, but before the wife could have a meltdown Jimmy and Anya jumped up and offered to drive the dresses in their car to the venue (which was an hour away). Besides their willingness to go above an beyond I have to say that the quality of their work is majestic and when Jimmy and Anya are behind the camera at your wedding just know that you are in the best hands. If their is ever a big event in life we would need a photography team for it will always be Prudente Photography... Thank you again Jimmy and Anya for helping make our day perfect!

I cannot say enough wonderful, amazing things about our wedding photographers, Jimmy and Anya Prudente. First and foremost, they took incredible pictures of our wedding, they captured every moment and every emotion of the day. I love our pictures so much, they really tell the whole story of our day.

We met Jimmy and Anya over coffee before hiring them, and as soon as we sat down and started chatting we felt instantly comfortable with them. Before the meeting was over they felt like old friends, the albums they showed us were beautiful, and I knew I wanted to work with them.

On the wedding day they came early while we were getting ready, Anya stayed with me, and Jimmy spent the morning with my husband. They spent the whole day with us, getting ready, the ceremony and through the very last song at the reception (which ended up a long day because we had a gap between the ceremony and reception).

Jimmy and Anya are committed to getting all the best shots – and at our wedding that meant running around outside in the snow. Anya even gave me her boots to wear so I could stay warm and do more amazing shots outside. And when I say amazing shots, I really mean amazing. They are creative, professional, friendly, and AMAZING photographers. When we were taking pictures with our families they knew every picture we wanted and moved through them quickly and efficiently.

They have the most incredible gadgets and equipment to get amazing pictures I didn’t even know were possible (I’ll let you be surprised about these like we were ) They were completely unobtrusive, and they made sure everything was moving smoothly throughout the night. And did I say the pictures were gorgeous?? And on a side note the whole day was one flat rate, which was awesome and also included our engagement photos.

Your wedding day goes by so fast, do yourself a favor and hire Jimmy and Anya so that you have incredible photographs to remember your day.

We are so happy we chose to work with Jimmy & Anya for our special day!! From the first time I spoke with Jimmy over the phone, I knew we were in good hands - they are true professionals! We have never been comfortable being the center of attention, let alone having thousands of photos taken of us, but our shoots were fun, stress-free, and we left feeling confident. Our engagement and wedding photos came out amazing, relaxed, and most important to me, they looked natural and true to us.

On the day of our wedding, Anya and Jimmy helped to keep us smiling and relaxed, and we and our guests LOVED when they surprised us with a sneak preview of some of the wedding photos on a slideshow set up on a table at the reception. It was really nice for our guests (and us) to be able to see some of the photos that were taken during the cocktail hour. All emails and phone calls were responded to very quickly, we felt the price for their services was beyond fair and reasonable, the quality and insight of their photos is impeccable, and honestly, they were just a true pleasure to work with! They will be our Go-To photographers for all major life events from here forward!

Anya and Jim not only are an amazing couple but they truly do amazing work. We found them looking for photographers online and instantly fell in LOVE with their work.

When my fiance and I first connected with them, we met at a local coffee shop where they genuinely wanted to know all about us- which I thought was sweet. We instantly were comfortable with them! They were very easy to talk to and very passionate about their work. We were able to get ahold of them via phone or email anytime. They always were open to our ideas as well as willing to try new things for us. We had alot of fun throughout our time together :)

I cannot say enough good things about the dynamic husband and wife duo, Jimmy and Anya. They were referred to us by a friend who had booked them for her wedding and I couldn't help but wonder what all the hype was about! When we met with Jimmy and Anya it was clear we would regret it if we did not book with them. They are not only warm and friendly but they are professional and so knowledgeable about the wedding business and what it is brides and grooms are looking for. They were with us every step of the way and always available to answer questions and concerns. I loved Jimmy and Anya. They were very helpful and nice. The husband and wife photographers could not have done a better job. They took many photos. And we're there for every part of the day snapping pictures and helping remember all the fun things at the wedding. When booking them as photographers for the wedding you get an engagement session as we'll.

They are overall a great pair and try to make you feel more comfortable throughout the day. They will try to get the best smiles and make you laugh and have fun. At first I was nervous during the engagement photos but by the time the wedding came they made us feel so comfortable that I forgot they were there and was just having fun.

Anyone getting married should check out Prudente Photography. I recommend them to anyone. I can't wait yo see the final pictures! They were showing us done as we went along and they were breathtaking.

We honestly could not say enough wonderful things about Jimmy and Anya. It took meeting with them once to know that they were perfect for us! Throughout the whole planning process they were incredibly helpful, totally reachable (huge plus for an OCD bride like myself), flexible, and affordable. I love that they included the engagement session in our package because it really helped us feel comfortable working with them and posing in front of the cameras.
They offered to help in any way they could before and during the wedding, and they really meant it. From assisting my mom with my veil, to giving us pointers on how to cut our cake in the moment, or even finding bobby pins to put my hair up, they were so quietly helpful – you wouldn’t have even known they were there and yet we couldn’t have done it without them. Jimmy and Anya went above and beyond in all aspects of the day, they even sneakily set up a laptop during the reception to showcase some of the pictures they had taken so far. Huge hit!!
I don’t know anyone who says how much they loved having their photographers at their wedding as pseudo-guests, but we LOVED HAVING JIMMY AND ANYA AT OUR WEDDING!! In addition to being a great couple, they are awesome photographers. I cry excited tears every single time I look at our pictures and feel so lucky that we got to work with Prudente Photography. We have the absolute best wedding pictures I have EVER seen, the perfect combination of more creative, artsy and classic, elegant pictures. I will proudly admit that I actually feel bad for other couples who didn’t work with the Prudentes – that is how incredible they are.

I recently got married on 9/27/13, after planning my wedding for over two years. We met with Prudente Photography a year into our planning, and we are so happy we booked them! Jimmy and Anya were very quick in responding to all of our emails, and answered every little question we had. For our engagement pictures, it was raining and windy, but they were down for anything and our pictures came out fantastic!

The day of the wedding, they met up with me and my bridal party after our hair/makeup were finished. We were ahead of schedule, but they fit right in and were joking and having fun along with us. During the ceremony, they were so discrete, but were able to get some great shots! They were able to fit in all of our requested family portraits in a small time frame, including some special ones with my autistic sister. During the reception, they didn't miss a beat: from our first dance where Jimmy dove across the dance floor to get a shot of my husband dipping me, to leaving their dinner to get shots of our parents dancing to their wedding songs. We were even able to see some wedding pictures a few days after the event, which was great!!

Jimmy and Anya Prudente really love what they do, and it shows. They are great photographers, and even better people. You will not be disappointed!

My wife definitely had a certain style of photos that she wanted to have for our wedding and engagement shoot. She said that she wanted to have photos that "told a story". Honestly, I had no idea what she was talking about. Once I saw Jimmy and Anya's work from our engagement and photo shoot I finally understood what my wife meant. Jimmy and Anya have a unique ability to be able to capture the emotion that my wife and I shared during our wedding and our engagement shoot. All of the pictures came out better than anything I could have expected. What also amazed me was just how easily they make having your picture taken be. Jimmy and Anya make having your photos taken a fun experience. Getting my picture taken was something I can say that I was not looking forward too but now I fee can say that I actually had a great time! I think this is what really sets them apart. They actually capture the joy and love that you have for one another in every photo. Simply put: there are not enough minutes in the day to cover all the amazing things I have to say about having Jimmy and Anya of Prudente Photography and our decision to have them as photographers for our wedding. Not only are they just all-around nice and naturally fun to be around, but they truly have an unparalleled talent and eye for capturing every detail and aspect of your special day.

Jimmy and Anya were responsive to any and all questions or requests throughout the entire process, ALWAYS making us feel comfortable, but then also giving their expert opinion and insight into the best ways to go about things. They also were incredibly sneaky in the sense that I always forgot I was being photographed! In our engagement photo session, it never felt like a staged pose. Instead, it felt as though my husband and I were just laughing and having a great time as we usually do. And not to mention, it was just a great time to spend with Jimmy and Anya because they are incredibly nice and fun people to be around. And then on the day of the wedding, Jimmy and Anya were up as early as I was, because it was a morning wedding, and there was literally no detail missed. If anything, their photos helped to tell me EVERYTHING that happened that day, and who was there, because as bride, you don't nearly get enough time to take in all the details. They have helped me to know and remember every bit of detail from that day and it makes me smile every time I see the photos.

Like I said at the start of this, there is simply not even time to even cover how happy we are with our decision to hire Jimmy and Anya. There’s a lot that goes on throughout the day and we would have completely missed out on these amazing and hilarious moments if it wasn’t for Jimmy and Anya’s takes. They arrived on time, stayed with us from morning to night, and knew EXACTLY what to do and when. We had tea ceremonies in the morning, a special phot-op request at a fave location, followed by the traditional ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. And guess what? The Prudentes provided this full day coverage for a remarkable deal. They never missed a beat. Our friends and family were super impressed at the wedding. They not only took pics, but stepped in ready to help whenever we needed it - like when the guys needed Jimmy to help safely put on their boutineers or Anya figuring out my crazy wedding dress layers. Our wedding party absolutely loved Jimmy and Anya. They ended up being a memorable part of our day. Having two photographers gives a great dynamic. Anya captured the bride and the bridesmaids while Jimmy’s able to spend his time with the guys. The end result is our amazing photos. We’re ecstatic every time we check them out and love that our friends and family are just as entertained. They love seeing themselves in such an awesome light too. Jimmy and Anya Prudente are talented and very awesome photographers. Our friends gave us a different photographer to contact but this photographer was not available for our wedding day and he ended up giving us a list of talented photographers he would recommend. We meet with all 5 on his list, Prudente Photography was one of them. When we first meet Jimmy and Anya they were friendly and easy to talk to. I always run into those awkward moments when you meet someone new and you don't know what to said but with Jimmy and Anya, it was different. It was very easy to talk to them. They showed us all their samples and talk to us about their experiences and all our options. We went home and did some comparisons and we decided that Jimmy and Anya was the best choice because their personality was very pleasant, they have experiences and we loved their photos. My husband is very detail and picky so if he decided that Jimmy and Anya was really good at what they do, I was good.

We did make the right decision. We recently received our wedding photos and they were beautiful. We are extremely satisfied with their work. They captured so many moments that I don't even remember happened but it was so nice to see them. Jimmy and Anya was in the background the whole time but they captured more than what we expected and we love it! We shared our photos on facebook with family and friends and We're constantly getting compliments and people asking who took the photos for us.

When I first started my wedding planning and searching for photographers I knew exactly what I wanted. My husband and I weren’t very comfortable in front of the camera and wanted someone who would make it easy on us. Jimmy and Anya did just that. Out of all our vendors they were the ones that I didn’t have a worry about. From the scheduling of our engagement pictures (which was always changing thanks to Boston’s weather) and being so easy when it came to finding a date that worked for us. They were always so responsive and stayed on top of everything so I didn’t have a worry. One of the many perks of working with them is that you have two photographers with you that are able to captures moments that you weren’t able to see. My husband and I got ready at two separate houses across town so it was awesome that Jimmy was following him and Anya with all of us. They also make sure they get any requested shots you want and work at getting those done quickly for you. They are just a friendly couple who made it so easy when it came to posing for the pictures. I would recommend them with 100% confidence to everyone I know. We truly could not have asked for a better couple to be with us during our wedding day. Jimmy and Anya were absolutely amazing through the entire planning process. Jimmy and Anya are simply amazing. First, and most importantly, the photos are what we hoped for and more. They captured our day beautifully and without being intrusive. Looking at the photos brings tears to my eyes. They were responsive and easy to get ahold of from day one- and were fun to work with every step of the way. Anya was such a big help on the day of the wedding. She helped the bridesmaids with their dresses, calmed my nerves, and laughed along with all of us- all while capturing perfect moments. You can see their love for what they do come through in their work. Jimmy and Anya make you feel totally at ease - which is not easy for someone like my husband, who hates getting his picture taken! Prudente Photography is the photography team to hire if you want stunning pictures of your special day. I have yet to show someone a picture from my wedding and not get the response "that's amazing, who took your photos?" Jimmy and Anya are a team of photographers whose skill with their cameras is nothing short of wizardry. What Jimmy and Anya do with lighting in their photos is stunning. On top of all this, you have TWO photographers for your day, as both husband and wife of this dynamic duo are professional photographers. This gives more photos of the same scene from different angles, and allows one of the pair to act silly for the kids in the family photo while the other nails the shot.
In addition to being amazing photographers, they are a joy to work with. They were with us for the entire day, from the getting ready point of about 2pm through the end of the night at midnight. With Prudente Photography you get a team of true professional artists. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and have already been recommending them to my friends who are looking at taking the walk down the aisle. Prudente Photography is worth every penny, and then some.

My husband and I could not be happier w/ Jimmy & Anya of Prudente Photography! They have never disappointed us and always exceeded our expectations. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect team to capture our wedding day. Who can beat 2 photographers for an unlimited amount of hours and a complementary engagement session? These guys are really wonderful!

I have a background in design and a little knowledge in photography so who I picked was really important. I've done lots of research but there truly isn't a better option - once I saw their work I was hooked. They both have an eye for very creative shots as well as never missed the special moments. They were very inconspicuous during our ceremony and reception. They have a knack for capturing things as it's happening and not posing people in the same old wedding picture manner. Absolutely breathtaking wedding photography - stunningly beautiful. Hands down the best.

Jimmy and Anya are very accommodating and willing to travel to where you'd like your perfect photos. They're so friendly and so welcoming that my camera shy hubby had no problem during our session. They create a calm, relaxed environment which makes for wonderful candid shots. Without ruining surprises I'll just say that they deliver above and beyond what I already found to be a "couldn't ask for more" product. I'd recommend them to anyone and I feel bad when I hear someone is getting married and booked a different photographer because they're missing out on these guys!

They're extremely talented, willing to do whatever you want, fair priced, quick turn around on photos, easy to talk to, and VERY good at what they do! Don't look further book them now!

Prudente photography is by far thee best photography duo you can book. Both Jimmy and Anya make engagement/wedding photos stress free and make you feel like you've been their friend for ages. They provided excellent service and professionalism at a price you can't beat, but also stunning photos that will amaze anyone who views them. Best part is you get two photographers for the price that many charge for one. This comes in handy during the hectic wedding day and allow us to shoot the wedding party in a short period of time unlike many others were photos drag on for hours and hours. Overall the service, quality of product, and value is comparable to no one we could find prior to our wedding and we'll definitely be using them in the future for other photo opportunities.

I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and Anya Prudente! They are amazing photographers and were able to capture all the special moments of the wedding. They are super-friendly and fun to work with. They came all the way to our home in CT to do the engagement shoot. During the wedding, they came to our hotel in the early afternoon and stayed all night (almost 12 hours!). They are so flexible, cool, calm and easygoing. They work so well together, and it was great to have Anya photograph the girls and Jimmy with the guys getting ready. On another note- they were not obtrusive AT ALL. They let the day and evening go where it needed to, capturing it all without being noticed. We have them a shot list and they followed it to a T, they are really there to do whatever you’d like. They also suggested some shots we didn’t think of that I’m glad they did. Very creative! Our photos are simply gorgeous! I have received so many compliments on them so far. Jimmy and Anya have a fresh, creative and innovative perspective- they don’t just do the standard shots. They have more equipment than I’ve seen any other photographer bring along- and it makes for some truly unique shots. I love their style. In summary Jimmy and Anya are awesome! And Prudente Photography company is great!

The experience is very personal (A+), the quality is top notch (A+), the professionalism is top grate (A+) the value is nowhere to be found (A+).

Quality: We loved their pictures! We are not artists nor into photography so we might not be able to judge the technicalities. But we know the facts. Out of all pictures we sent home to use in our Chinese wedding. Everyone picked pictures from Prudente Photography. It’s not just us!

Professionalism: On the wedding day Jimmy and Anya carried multiple cameras, many lenses, a dozen spare batteries, many sort of lights and other things I don't even recognize. They followed us from 8am in the morning to 10pm in the evening to cover our entire wedding. Talking about true professionalism.

Personal: Jimmy and Anya are fun to hang out with and chat. We felt like hanging with friends rather than getting instructed for various poses.

Value: Besides Jimmy and Anya stayed with us for a 14-hour day on our wedding day, they also included a 5 hours engagement shooting. This kind of value is not offered by any other photographing companies we talked to.

Overall, highly recommended!

Jimmy and Anya, the fantastic husband and wife duo, of Prudente Photography captured our wedding perfectly! We met them at a wedding showcase and knew immediately they were a great match for us. First, they treated us like people not talking down to us like another "well respected Boston photographer" did. They are SO AFFORDABLE! We got not only TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS for the PRICE OF ONE and because Anya could spend the day with the ladies and Jimmy with the guys, not a moment was missed. They were our personal paparazzi from sun-up to sun-down. Also, like most of you, money was tight. We booked them about a year and a half in advance and they let us pay them in 3 installments which was HUGE! They included an engagement shoot and gave us the rights to all the photos (for both the engagement shoot and the wedding). Their easiness and love for their craft produce great work. We now have 700 wonderful memories on film thanks to Jimmy and Anya! I can't wait to get my wedding album from them, so happy!

Anya and Jimmy of Prudente Photography posses the perfect blend of professionalism and a friendship quality that makes your experience with them very comfortable. They made every step of the process extremely easy for us and kept it completely stress free. But what really makes Prudente a world class choice for a wedding photographer is the final results. Seeing the finish product was incredible. The shots of the pre ceremony events, highlight each of Jimmy"s and Anya"s individual abilities. Each of them showing off their creative and artistic skills in their own amazing ways. Then there were the wedding and reception photos, where the two of them combined to create magic and capture every moment flawlessly. The uncanny ability to photograph every intimate moment with a stealthiness that makes them seem not even there, is truly a skill they have mastered and one that makes them a one of a kind duo. There are not enough good things that we can say about Jimmy and Anya, both on a professional or personal level. From beginning to end they were an essential part of the process. Their knowledge and passion for what they do shines through in their professional, yet down to earth work ethic. They play off each other to deliver top of the line results and make the whole process fun and enjoyable at the same time. Jimmy and Anya were there to offer any assistance throughout the planning process, as well as suggesting we take a break and relax over a cup of coffee with no wedding talk. They went out of their way to take the time to understand us and our vision and captured our most important moments the way we wanted to remember it. We could not ask for a better experience for our wedding day. Jimmy and Anya are professional, communicative, creative, and fun! It was such a hectic day, as most weddings are, and they just took the reigns and really made the day special with their unique and creative photography yet always willing to do whatever it is you ask of them too. It was great how Anya was with me, the bride, while getting ready in the morning and Jimmy with my husband, the benefits of a husband-wife team. They work well together and have a passion for what they do and it shows. Our engagement session was a good way for all of us to feel each other out, how to pose/candid shots and really get to know each other. I feel it is very important to have a good, comfortable feeling with your photographer and with Jimmy and Anya, the relaxed, professional, and confident vibe exudes from them. We had an unusually long wedding day, they were with us from 7:30am until about midnight, and they never missed a beat. We could not have been more satisfied and happy with the work done by Prudente Photography. Upon the first meeting with Jimmy and Anya I knew that I would want them to be with me on my big day. Jimmy and Anya create magic with their phenomenal photography!! Our pictures came out beautiful and we receive so many compliments about them! They captured our special day perfectly! I am so happy with the photographers from Prudente Photography. My wedding pictures could not have come out more perfect. They captured every moment what turned out to be a perfect day. I received so many compliments on how no one saw the photographers and then saw the pictures and were truly amazed at all the shots they got. We had four months from the day we were engaged to the day of our wedding. Choosing the photographers was very important for us. We felt immediately at ease with Anya and Jimmy from the moment we first met them. We were familiar with the quality of their work after visiting their website, and meeting them reassured us that we were making the right decision. We were going to forgo the engagement session that came with the package, but we soon realized that this was an opportunity for us to become comfortable having Anya and Jimmy photograph us. They were very flexible with their schedule and suggested a wonderful venue for the photos. We were pleased with the engagement photo's and knew that we'd be thrilled with the wedding photos. After the engagement photo session we received a very sweet note with a gift card to the movie theatre. What a thoughtful gesture at a crazy time of planning! The day of the wedding Jimmy and Anya were with us every step of the way, from photographing Albert's cowboy boots on our stairs (looking up the stairway) to the picture of my bouquet on one of our wooden chairs. They captured all of the memories that we asked them to, and others that we hadn't even thought about. We deeply appreciated that. We would highly recommend Jimmy and Anya as a great photography team!

We hired Anya and Jimmy for our October 2010 wedding. We were excited to find a vibrant, young couple to capture our wedding memories -- their prices fit our budget and they were friendly to work with. They did a nice job on our engagement photos (lots of fun poses, different settings and artistic shots), but unfortunately the wedding photos we received were not up to par (e.g. many photos were overexposed, key moments missing, delivered photos were not in chronological order). We received our photos in timely manner on two DVDs, about 700 photos. As we went through the photos we noticed several areas in which quality was lacking.

We sent the photographers our program, ceremony text, and a list of "must take" photos in advance to ensure that all critical moments could be planned for. The list was not fulfilled. For example, there was only one photo of my father walking me down the aisle and we both had our faces looking down. There were no photos of half of the bridal party during the processional. For formal photos, about 40% of our "must take" list were never taken. There is not a single photo of my husband with his parents. There are no photos of the groom with each of his groomsmen. When we asked the photographers about this, their response was, "We ran out of time to do more groomsmen shots due to scoping out the venue for picture locations." The photographers now offer "full day" photography services (as opposed to the 6 hour block we had) and that may help alleviate this particular issue.

It was very sunny the day of our wedding. Almost all of the photos of the outdoor ceremony and formal photos are overexposed and not suitable for use in a printed album. Photo subjects had their faces half in shade/half in sun (washed out) for many of the posed photos. When we requested color correction on a specific outdoor photo, it was returned with artificial outlining on the clothing from the photo editing. In addition, I was told, "unfortunately the white in your dress is unrecoverable." For the indoor reception, one of our guests (who is a photographer himself) mentioned that the photographers did not know how to use their strobes (camera flash) effectively. This was evident in the photos we received.

Over a quarter of the photos were delivered in black and white, with no color version present. Many photos were "artistically" taken off-level and resulted in unusable photos. Neither of these artistic styles were discussed with us ahead of time.

Anya and Jimmy did deliver some nice photos of our wedding (some live-action ceremony photos, great artistic photos of the guest book, cake, toasting flutes), but overall we were disappointed in the photos we received. When we voiced our disappointment in the missing photos, they offered to send us the entire batch of photos taken at our wedding (about 2,000 photos). As a result, my husband has spent dozens of hours sorting the 2,000 photos, searching for acceptable ones and editing them for use in a photo album; far more work than we ever anticipated. Many of the "missing" photos were simply never taken or of such poor quality they cannot be used. When the photographers heard of our continued disappointment, they contacted us to hear our concerns and offered a refund for the services rendered. While we did not have a positive experience in October 2010, it is possible that Anya and Jimmy have improved and further defined their artistic style since then.
