When planning our wedding, many decisions had to be made; some easier than others. Quite possibly the best decision made during this time was the one to hire the Bo & Bill Winiker Band as our musicians. From start to finish our experience was nothing short of stellar. I could rant and rave about how great the music was (our guests still do to this day, too!), but the real value comes from how great these folks are and they truly provide everything they say they will. Thanks Bo, Bill, and The Band!

Bo and the band were incredibly pleasant and fun! They were organized, friendly, helpful, and highly knowledgeable. We found that they were easy to get in touch with whenever we needed during the preparation process and utterly professional and competent during the wedding itself. Additionally, my husband and I and my parents had fairly divergent music requests, and Bo was able to make everything work and learn lots of new music - their presence really made the wedding extra special. We're so glad we picked them!

Bo and his band were an absolute dream for our wedding! They provided the exact ambiance and sound we desired and couldn’t have asked for anything better! My wife made a surprise Shania Twain reference in her vows and Bo went with it and played that song once all of our guests had been seated; certainly an unexpected treat!! These musicians are all very talented and I am so grateful for them for learning several songs for us to enjoy on our special day. All our guests were up and dancing and having a blast thanks to the Winiker band! Bo certainly knows how to work a crowd :) Best day ever and we can thank Bo and his team for that.

The Winiker Band was truly wonderful! They are amazingly talented musicians, they were great fun at the reception, and they are just all-around kind, fun people with whom to work. From the first phone call with Bill to our pre-wedding meeting with Bo to discuss the music and order of events, they were so helpful, kind, responsive, and supportive throughout. Furthermore, they had great ideas! We used Bill's suggestion for how to order the reception events, and we have to credit the band with getting our family and friends on the dance floor throughout the meal and after. In addition to being an expert trumpet player, Bo was also a terrific emcee. Most importantly, the music was great! From Neil's piano playing during the cocktail hour to the six-piece band that played all of our favorite songs, the music was amazing. My husband, I, and our families just adore Bo, Bill, and the whole Winiker Band. We wish we could dance to their music every night and look forward to seeing them play many more times!

We are writing to express our enthusiasm and praise for The Bo Winiker Band. Bo, Bill and the band played at our wedding at the Taj and they were outstanding! The band consists of excellent musicians and great singers whose performance pleased the guests of all ages. We have never danced so much and had the most fantastic time at our wedding! All of our guests tell us that they had the best time, many saying it was the most fun wedding they ever went to. Bo is an excellent Master of Ceremonies, who met with us a few times before the wedding to plan a song list and create a timeline to make the reception go smoothly. Our first dance was choreographed and Bo made sure that the band’s timing matched our dancing perfectly. Their attention to detail, expertise in music, and passion for playing is unique and exceptional!

The Winkers were a dream! They handled everything so I never had to worry that we were going to skip a beat during the reception. They provided beautiful instrumental for the ceremony and then everyone had a blast dancing to the live band at the reception. We were thrilled with the Winiker Band. They were very accommodating to us at our wedding - we wanted songs in French, Hebrew and English, oldies and current hits - and somehow they did them all well. They listened to what we wanted, and added some helpful suggestions of their own. I recommend them unconditionally.

When we first set our date it was dependent upon Bo & Bill Winiker's availability...I wouldn't have used any other band. They indeed were available and the planning began. Yes they were they first people we reached out to! Between us, Music was the 1st and 2nd priority for our day. We were so very happy with the personalized nature of Bo's approach and how much heart he put into making sure our day was perfect. He even learned a very special song for us and trust me it was not easy. I cannot tell you how many people raved about the band and everyone was dancing for hours. You can't go wrong with the Winiker's! We love them :)

Bill and Bo Winiker were terrific to work with! They were super knowledgeable about songs as well as event logistics due to their 50+ years of experience, and were very flexible and willing to work with our other reception vendors to ensure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. From our first meeting with them, they were eager to listen to what we had to say and to guide the planning process in a very collaborative, confident, and positive way. Bo was impressively efficient in replying to emails (consistently writing back in less than a day, if not within a few hours!) and both Bo and Bill were always very professional and eager to please. They are a great team and their band has a wonderful sound. No matter where they are playing, they always look like they are having a great time doing what they do, and that energy definitely comes through in their music. I was concerned about the 5-piece band being too loud at the reception and that our guests might have a hard time talking over the music, but Bo assured me that he would be able to monitor the volume of the band and adjust it as necessary so that this was not an issue. Sure enough, the music volume and styles were excellent and he did a wonderful job matching the dynamic of the music to the dynamic of the reception. My husband and I are swing dancers, so we felt strongly that we wanted to make a great choice for music for our reception; the Winikers happily fulfilled this desire even more than we could have hoped for with music that everyone could enjoy. Many of our guests commented on how great the band was and what a good time they had. They are a bit expensive, but it was well worth it, especially after seeing what an amazing performance they gave at our wedding. We're so glad that we chose to hire the Winiker band for our wedding reception and would highly recommend them!

Bo and Bill are not only great musicians but truly wonderful human beings that radiate genuine positivity. When my wife and I met them at the Waltham Westin Hotel for their weekly Sunday Jazz Brunch, I was amazed and stunned at the diversity of music that the band performed. Bo also sang "The Rainbow Connection" at the brunch. My wife and I were extremely touched and moved by his performance and so were other people in the audience that day. Right then and there, we knew we had the perfect band for our wedding. They are so extremely talented that they were open to playing any song from any decade that you could think of. They were so open and so talented that it helped me to find the courage to sing at my own wedding. They were also very flexible and accommodating on how many members they would include in their wedding band. I had not really performed since singing a cappella in high school. If you do end up choosing a band for your wedding, I cannot think of a better one than the Bo and Bill Winiker Band.

Although I have been away from Boston for some 25 years, when it came time to plan my second wedding, my first choice was the Winiker Band. I had been a big fan of theirs in my twenties, when they had a standing gig at the Parker House. We were delighted that they were available for our date. They not only provided music for the ceremony, they served as emcees for the evening. Their inimitable sound, knowledge of the classics, and good natured humor made the evening a success.. Bo and Bill have a singular ability to read the crowd and adjust tempo and style accordingly. I gave three specific requests, first dance: Opus #1, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered to honor my parents, and It Had To Be You to honor Cynthia's mom. The rest I left to the Winikers. The dance floor was full all evening, a measure of success in my book. I enthusiastically recommend Bo and Bill Winiker to anyone planning a wedding in the Boston area.

Bo, Bill, and their band were just FANTASTIC! We had heard such good things about them before the wedding (which is why we picked them), but the event itself and their performance blew us away. It was everything my wife and I had hoped for and more. The energy and pleasure they put into their shows is phenomenal. This, as well as the music, were instantly addictive amongst the guests. Afterwards, family and friends kept telling us how fun the dancing had been and what a kick they had gotten out of it; the band was a huge hit. Yet I also want to mention what great people they are. They spent time with us preparing beforehand making sure that everything would be exactly perfect. We even asked the pianist to perform a special, unique song during a reading for the ceremony and he did so brilliantly, adding a personal touch that makes all the difference. In addition, their friendliness made the whole process a joy. We could not have asked for better; THANK YOU Bo and Bill!

The Bill and Bo Winiker Band was amazing!! They learned a bunch of songs for our wedding, some of which were not very common/well known songs, but very important to us and our families; they killed it and everyone had a blast! They were so animated, which helped people to get up and dance.

Working with them for planning the sequence of events was very pleasant as well. They had very good ideas and accommodated our requests. Bill and Bo are very attentive to detail and try to make your wedding even more special! The band is very friendly and everyone is great; probably the most attentive, sensitive, and enjoyable group I know!

When planning our wedding, we did not know of weddingwire.com but were still lucky enough to find Bo and Bill. They hardly need this review on top of the countless perfect scores they have already received from other satisfied brides and grooms, but I will add just one more.

We wanted the best band we could find for our wedding. Bo and Bill's lifelong training, experience, and accolades in music and performance make them the obvious choice. They have an extensive and timeless repertoire, and the guests absolutely loved the music.

Bo and Bill are also wonderful to work with on a personal level. They are very responsive, warm, calm, patient, easygoing, and flexible. Not only do they know how to play music, they know how to effortlessly play a room. We were also very lucky that Bo and Bill were willing and able to incorporate the wonderfully talented and equally acclaimed Amanda Carr - whose music can be found on iTunes - into the ensemble, as she was our first choice for female vocalist.

I have seen some reviews here speaking to cost. To that, I would say that we, too, looked in to different options, and the cost for this band was not much more, if at all, than others. Also, we are firm believers that you get what you pay for. Any difference in cost between this band and any other is absolutely worthwhile for the quality and service - especially for such a special, once in a lifetime event.

We anxiously await another opportunity to hire Bo and Bill for another spectacular evening.

Bo + Bill were the perfect addition to my intimate wedding ceremony! They provided ceremony + cocktail hour music... most importantly, the assured me they would be able to make it in spite of my wedding day being on an official snow emergency in Boston! Both my husband and I agreed that having an upbeat, classic band was essential for our wedding reception. We wanted people on their feet all night and that's what we got! There is no better band than Bo and Bill Winiker. They played at my parents wedding 35 years ago and are still rocking today. It was a no brainer to hire them for our wedding in November.

Easy to deal with, professional and flexible, it was a joy to work with the Winikers. They even played our ceremony and learned Little Martha for us! Our guests are still talking about the music from that night and so are we. Thank you Bo and Bill!

No need to look any further...Bo & Bill Winiker Bands/Winiker Music are the best!! We are an older couple who have been through the process before, so I feel we can tell a good band from a great band. They are a great band!! From the beginning, they made the process so easy. At the first meeting, we arrived late and a bit harried, but Bill had a calming effect and made us feel like everything would go smoothly (which it did). We suggested a few "must have" pieces and from that they were able to really understand our style. At the wedding they played a variety of romantic, religious and sentimental music. Our guests raved about them!! Bo and Bill were so down to earth, they made this special day in our lives complete with their beautiful music. We thank you Bo & Bill so much!

The Winiker Band was one of the best parts of our wedding. They worked collaboratively with our other vendors to make the day a seamless affair, and Bill essentially acted as the master of ceremonies to keep everything on schedule. Bill met with us months before the event to discuss the itinerary, our preferences and to make some suggestions of his own. The band was also extremely flexible to learn any songs that they didn't already know that were important to us. The end result was the dance floor was packed the entire night, with everyone from the older adults and young children enjoying the music. We've had a ton of compliments about the band from friends and family and would highly recommend them. We can't imagine our wedding without them.

The Winiker Band was truly the highlight of our wedding! They are simply amazing musicians with incredible talent (Bo's horn is just divine) and a wealth of experience entertaining audiences of all types. They know how to read a crowd and get everyone up and dancing. And if you prefer a different approach (such as quiet background music), they are excellent communicators and will listen to your needs. Over a year later, many of our guests continue to comment on the amazing band we had at our wedding. We continue to get out to hear the Winiker Band play live at every opportunity. For our wedding, having a great band was one of our most important requirements. We were absolutely thrilled to have Bo & Bill make our wedding so memorable! They were both personable and professional. They are walking encyclopedias of countless songs - perfect for us, since we have such diverse tastes in many styles of music. Our guests just raved about them. From the piano with classical flourishes during our ceremony, to the 6-piece band during our reception, they played for hours! They threw in music that spanned decades, even some new songs that were still hits on the day we got married.

When we originally planned our wedding with them, they contributed their vast expertise and actually helped us plan the different phases of the reception. They were very flexible, learning some custom songs for us and even letting the groom & best man join in to play a tune! They brought in different songs to fit each phase of our night, even staying a little longer because everybody was still dancing up a storm.

In short, the Winikers were absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. We highly recommend them!

Bill Winiker's band made the wedding memorable and two months later guests still can't stop talking about how much fun they had. From relatives who never dance but stayed on the dance floor all night, to the numerous non-stop contemporary song sets, and even the guest who surprised us with a group serenade--and Bill taught the band the music on the spot so they could accompany the group-- everything was wonderful. Your guests will truly have the time of their lives (and so will you!) with this band.

They were a wonderful wedding band! They kept everyone on their feet dancing the whole night. The hora went on for about 45 minutes. Guests were saying that the hora was the longest one at a wedding that they have seen. Guests were complimenting how the band was wonderful and were very friendly. I would recommend this band for an occasion. They are wonderful people to work with.

Bo and Bill were ABSOLUTELY the best. From the first time we spoke to them on the phone, they were upbeat, professional and ready to do whatever was necessary to make our wedding as special as possible. When we sked them to learn a few new Jewish songs for our wedding, they were enthusiastic and fast. When geographic constraints made it difficult for my husband and I to make it up to Boston (we got married in Connecticut) to meet with the band, they were happy to experiment with Skype in order to chat. No matter what we needed, the band was always eager to please. On the day of our actual wedding, they arrived early, took care of everything and did a rockin' job! Everyone was up dancing the ENTIRE time, the music selection was PERFECT, and Bo did a tremendous job of handling the microphone. I couldn't have asked for a better band!

Winiker Bands is the best in Boston!

My husband and I were recently married at The Seaport Hotel Boston on September 1, 2012---- our wedding day was perfect!

When it came to hiring Bo Winiker of The Winiker Bnads, it was a no brainier. Bo and Bill Winiker were so easy to work with! They were flexible on our music selections and made it clear they wanted our day to be special. Our guests of all generations were speechless over the music from Frank Sinatra to Black Eyed Peas. In fact, some older guests mentioned to me "You have Bo Winiker here.... WOW! He's a Boston staple."

Working with the Winiker brothers was such a pleasure. They were kind, responsive and understanding to our needs. My wife and I had a traditional Jewish wedding and our guests were expecting a joyous horah and traditional Israeli music. Many at first were skeptical of the Winiker's ability to provide and told us we should look into brining up a band from NY but they were all wrong. Bo and Bill provided us with wonderful music, they had everyone dancing for hours and when they seamlessly switched from Jewish music to modern dance music continuing the party for a long time- everyone left with their feet aching from dancing so much. If you are getting married in Massachusetts make sure you check out the Winiker band they are wonderfully priced, professional, and really just great musicians to work with.

My husband and I are both military and were planning a wedding in Boston from across the county. As a result, we knew that our wedding was a difficult event to coordinate. Regardless, Bo Winiker worked with us to plan every detail of the wedding timeline, took specific music requests, and even learned several songs for the "Father-Daughter" and "Mother-Son" dances. The band's energy, musical talent, and ability to read the crowd truly drove the event and made it a success. We highly recommend the Winiker Band for any bride and groom wishing to make their event unique, tasteful, professional, and enjoyable to a wide range of guests. Specifically, their ability to play a variety of genres kept everyone participating from the beginning of the reception and well into the night. Finally, make sure you request Bo to sing Louis Armstrong - he was fantastic!

They made us feel as though we were truly special and spent a lot of quality time with us before the wedding (e.g., getting to know us as a couple, our taste in music, planning the order of events, discussing music for Jewish ceremonies, etc.). The band worked well with our chosen venue and our wedding night went smoothly thanks to the Winikers. The dance floor was always packed with guests ranging in age from 21-90. The band touched upon every genre of music such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Motown, Neil Diamond, Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas as well as big band swing music and standards such as songs sung by Frank Sinatra and Horas. Bo was receptive to all spontaneous music requests throughout the evening (e.g., Build Me Up Buttercup). The Winiker orchestra played our wedding song, "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain, flawlessly. After the wedding, our guests were raving about our band. For example, my good friend told me that she had never witnessed her husband dance at a wedding before and he was on the dance floor the entire evening. I highly recommend the Winiker Orchestra for any venue. Their music selection, professionalism, value and flexibility make them an extremely well rounded band for any occasion.

Members of then Winiker Band are actually family relatives. We had no idea if we'd be able to book them, but boy, are we glad we could. They were incredible. The music selection - swing and classic rock - was amazing and had everyone dancing the ENTIRE night. I've been to weddings before where there is some dancing after dessert. Bo Winiker, the band leader, made sure people were up the entire time. Our hora was nearly 30 minutes long - and people are still talking about it. Bo made sure to cater to our every need and wish, and it was absolutely perfect. We felt catered to, respected and pampered. The night was unforgettable.

Tim & I just returned from our honeymoon in France & Italy. It was amazing. ALMOST as a amazing as our big day. We couldn't wait to reach out to you upon our return. We cannot thank you enough for the incredible music you provided! You and your band are undoubtedly the best around. You truly amazed us. We were particularly wowed by the choice of songs you played. It was a perfect balance of different music from different eras. Our friends & family cannot stop raving about the music. You said they would be talking about it for 10 years, but I think it will be more like 20! We really did show the Taj a party the likes of which it has never seen :)

The height of talent and professionalism. Bo Winiker and his band exceeded my very high expectations. My husband and I are music enthusiasts and very picky. Moreover, we had all age ranges at our wedding and I wasn't sure how they would pull off making the event really move. Their repertoire is endless. This band is simply top rate, beginning to end. They recorded our first dance to the requested tempo and sent it to as a sound attachment so we could practice our dance in advance. They mastered it for the first dance and then completely had everyone -- old and young on the dance floor ROCKING OUT! We had a ball. They listen to exactly what you want and then they deliver it with grace, style and gusto. There is no smaltz; they are completely plugged in to who you are and what you want your wedding to be. Hire this band for the night of your life.

From the moment we heard the Winikers perform at a friend's wedding--and our entire table started singing along to their rendition of Beyonce--we knew we wanted them at our wedding. When we began planning our wedding, they were the first vendor we booked, and more than any other, they truly made our day. Our friends and family danced up a storm for the entire reception, and to this day, they all talk about what a blast they had because of the music. The Winikers learned new songs that were special to us, played songs to please both the younger and older crowds, and brought an energy that was infectious. We can't recommend them highly enough.

The Winiker band were outstanding and made our wedding a fun filled fantastic party. The words "best wedding ever" are frequently heard among our guests. Three weeks after the event and I'm still humming tunes that they played while I type this! I can't express just how accommodating Bo and team were both before and during the event. They listened to our requests and the special meaning behind each song which in turn they shared with our friends and family during the reception. They took the time to learn a new song just for us. During the wedding, they got the crowd on their feet quickly setting the right tone for the evening. What a sight to see guests of all ages (7 to 75+) up and dancing the night away. What really struck me was how readily Bo will share the stage with family and friends - allowing them to show off their talents and share their wishes. I believe, given the chance, my nieces and nephews would tour as back up singers and dancers with the band! The night was magical and I contribute a huge part of that magic to the Winiker Band!

The Winikers absolutely made my wedding!
When I was planning my wedding I never considered how big a role your band plays in the success of the reception. I just knew that I wanted excellent musicians because my parents are both in the industry and I wanted to find musicians that I thought I would enjoy working with. Bo and Bill are the nicest guys I could ever ask for. Bo lights up any room he walks into. Bill was so helpful with picking songs and working out the flow of the night. They were receptive to our ideas and had a lot of great ideas for us from a lifetime of these kind of events.
Now that I have experienced the wedding I realize how much the Winikers improved the feel of my reception. The music, of course, was just exceptional. They were able to take any request that we threw at them and were even willing to learn new ones that we requested ahead of time! I had the piano player from the band play at the ceremony and we wanted to use Alegria from Cirque du Soleil for my processional. He learned the piece and it was just beautiful!
For the reception I can't tell you how many people raved about the Winikers! People loved how personable they were and the variety of music that they played. Many people mentioned how impressed they were at the quality of singing and playing. My sister's mother in law was extremely impressed a their volume levels as she could still speak the next morning. The Winikers have found a great balance of background music during dinner and great dance music when we wanted to hit the dance floor. They kept the night flowing smoothly and made sure that people never got bored or too stuck to their seat!
We did our wedding on something of a shoestring for Boston. Because of that I really had to prioratize in my budget. I ended up spending about a quarter of it on the Winikers and I would do it again in a heart beat!

Jack and I were thrilled with the music at our wedding on April 10th. We have had so many of our guests and family call or email us about the great time they had dancing and just listening to the music. You really knew how to satisfy everyone; we were especially touched by the aria and the "flugal horn". Our first dance was just perfect and a nice idea to have everyone join us on the floor after the first stanza. Our guests that were celebrating their 45th anniversary were honored to have a special dance just for them.

We will definitely recommend you to anyone that is having an event and hope to be attending so we can enjoy your group again.

Because I had a relatively small wedding, I used a smaller version of the Band, including Bill Winiker plus five other musicians. They learned a new song for our first dance and also came up with wonderful suggestions for the rest of our playlist. They are a class act -- class is what we were going for with our black tie affair, and this band really set the stage for exactly that. And they were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.
These guys play at some wonderful dinner dances in downtown Boston and Cambridge, so you can check them out before picking your band -- and enjoy a nice night out of dinner and dancing with your fiance (like I did)!

The Winiker band was great! We met with the band and came up with a schedule that happily interspersed swing dancing throughout the whole evening, and the guests thought it was fantastic - several of them coming and telling us afterwards that we should stop our current jobs and switch to wedding planning. Bill and Bo were able to play some custom songs for us (we got the sheet music, but they adjusted it a bit too), and they really matched our ideas for the type of music we were looking for. The most amazing thing they did, however, was come up with some fun children's music at the end of the dinner - the children at the wedding were done eating and starting to get rambunctious, but they saw that and played a song for them to have fun on the dance floor while the adults finished talking and eating, before we moved on to the next part of the reception. It really showed just how in tune they were with everything that was going on, and able to fit in where they could.

Plus, now we have some great friends to see whenever we want to eat at Skipjack's or Upstairs on the Square.

As I have long known and loved the Winikers, there was NO QUESTION as to who would set my marriage to music. In fact, as my parents had their phones off when I proposed, Bill and Bo may have known before they did! To have them at my wedding was just THAT IMPORTANT.

Before the big day, my wife and I met with the boys to discuss our tastes and hopes and dreams. It was part therapy, part planning, and all comfortable talk with friends. Their ideas (some of which should be copyrighted they are so amazing and unique) melded seamlessly with ours and even improved on many of them! As I had a special surprise for my wife, the band even invited me to jam with them at their weekly gig at Skipjacks (a DEFINITE "must do" for ANY music lovers!).

Bill arrived a day early to check out the scene and the band worked well with the caterer and everyone else, taking requests and pacing the night perfectly. When it came time for their agreed-upon schedule to end, Bill saw that the floor was still PACKED so he agreed on the spot to linger for almost another full hour! Even after that, people wanted more!

I can not say enough good about this band and the brothers who lead it. They truly make every day with them a good day to be alive!

My wedding would not have been nearly as amazing without the talented Winiker Band, led by Bo Winiker. The band truly stole the show (I heard this from many guests as well). The enthusiasm put forth by the band was contagious and the outcome resulted in a very crowded dance floor and a whole lot of fun! They will emcee the event from beginning to end with such class, vigor, and excitement- your guests will be mesmorized and leave the wedding wanting more.

We had the band learn 4 "special songs" for our event and they did an excellent job- two of the songs did not have sheet music available so they transcribed the music by ear. What talent.

The Michael Jackson Medley was a nice timely tribute as well and made for some hilarious dance moves and fun photo opportunities.

I highly endorse this band and for all future brides- you will not regret hiring the Winiker Band- they are worth their weight in gold. Your wedding will be the talk of the town- as it was mine.

We love the Winiker Band! They did a phenomenal job at our wedding to really make it special. They also helped control the flow of the reception, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Plus they had a few "surprises" for us too! They had a great mix of music, and for the most part really took into consideration our musical tastes. They even learned a song or two just for us. Bo & Bill were absolutely fantastic at our wedding and I heard nothing but unanimous praise for them from all of the guests. They can effortlessly switch between genres (blues, jazz, folk, classic rock, and much more), so there is something for everyone. It is a lot of money but if they are within your price range I would highly recommend them for a wedding or anything else you might need them for.

We had the good fortune of hiring the Winiker Band for our wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with their performance that evening. They were responsive to the mood of our guests and were able to feel when they needed to pick things up and when to slow it down. They played a great mix of classic standards and newer songs so that our guests of all ages could enjoy the music.

The Winikers were able to handle just about every song request that we gave them ahead of time. Since our wedding was on new year's eve, the band played auld lang syne at midnight and then progressed into a 30 minute block of really exciting swing/latin music starting with the tune "Late in the Evening." It was the perfect way of capping off our reception!

We originally heard about the Winiker Band because they had played at my parent-in-laws wedding back in 1983 back when their father was the band leader. My parent in laws were so thrilled to see the Winikers again, and we were happy that our wedding had a connection to our in-laws.

The only drawback to hiring this band is their fee which is rather pricey. However, if you can cut back on other areas for your wedding, hiring the Winikers is well worth it. They really create a fun and memorable experience for your guests!

We first heard the Winniker band at Skipjack's in Boston. When we told them that we were looking for a band for my daughter's wedding they began to play wedding music in the restaurant. That really put us in a good mood and made us so excited we decided that we had to have them! Bill made the whole process so much fun and he is so personal and professional. He made a point to get to know our family and really listened to what we wanted. The wedding day was perfect and our guests were quite impressed with the repertoire. We all danced with "reckless abandon". If you want a wedding that is really "hopping" you must hire the Winniker band!

The Winiker brothers put together a great band. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and for the most part the volume accurately matched the evening (not too loud during dinner, etc) They are a very classy organization - more than most wedding bands in my opinion. That said, I wish I had reviewed their set list, since they threw in some songs that we were not thrilled with. We had asked for "The Best is Yet to Come" for our last dance, but after that they played two encores...including Donna Summer's "Last Dance," which was not at all what we wanted for our old-fashioned, big band-style wedding reception. Ah well. That's my only complaint. They really did do a great job and had very talented musicians.
