Melanie was very knowledgeable about all aspects of wedding planning. All the vendors she recommended were excellent. She made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding and didn't need to be reminded or asked to do anything.

Melanie was amazing! Hiring her was the best decision we ever made, when planning our wedding. She was always available for a quick question or for help. She had great ideas and had obviously developed great relationships with other wedding vendors. She made the wedding day go so smoothly, and I truly felt like I didn't have to worry about anything. Melanie was fabulous to work with! I am a stickler for interviewing at least 3 people before I hire someone and Melanie was the only person during the wedding process that I instantly knew was the right person to work with. She is so clearly passionate about weddings, although we only used her as a Justice of the Peace she was still willing to talk to me about my wedding planning and provide thoughts and ideas when we first sat down.

She is able to provide a ceremony for any faith and any couple and was willing to be very creative with us! We really felt like it was a personal ceremony and spoke to us. It honestly couldn't have gone better! I would highly recommend Melanie to any of my friends and family!!

Melanie is pleasant, helpful, accommodating, cheerful and just great to work with. Before the wedding she drove to meet with us a few times and always responded to emails and helped get us ready for the ceremony. She is knowledgeable about what we needed to do beforehand and always had a smile on her face.

The Gourmet in a Pinch Catering Team would like to thank Melanie for doing a great job coordinating the Powder Ridge Wedding Celebration at the beautiful Ski Esta in Newry, Maine near Sunday River Ski Resort. She coordinated every aspect of the bride's itinerary and didn't mind helping out with the many different logistical aspects of the weekend long celebration. The Fresh Hand Made Pumpkin Ravioli's with a Creamy Sage Butter Sauce was a huge hit as a result of her laser focus.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give Melanie a 10!! She did such a fantastic job as officiant for our wedding!! She was so easy to work with and so helpful throughout the entire process. She had lots of creative ideas for personalizing our ceremony. We had a small wedding (guest list consisting of about 25 people), and Melanie came up with creative ways to involve our guests so that they were really part of our ceremony, which made our day that much more special. I'd HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant or wedding planner!!!!

Melanie of Blissful Beginnings was a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating. She performed our intimate, private ceremony at Fuller Gardens in North Hampton, NH with poise and grace. She seemed genuinely happy for us.

One sign of her professionalism, and overall kind nature was that even though we had only hired her to perform the ceremony --- and weren't hiring her to plan our entire wedding -- she was still very attentive to our needs. She took the time to meet with us in person, she provided sample vows for us to work from since we were writing our own, and she even exchanged emails with us the day before the wedding -- letting us make some last minute edits to the original ceremony text that she had drafted for us. This kind of responsiveness was especially impressive given that we were married during the summer -- during peak wedding season.

Another nice touch that Melanie brings to any ceremony -- is that she steps to the side during the first kiss, which allows photographers to focus on the couple and capture a great shot.

Again, we couldn't be more pleased with our choice of officiant. And we were very appreciative that after the wedding she emailed us a final draft of the ceremony text for us to keep. Thanks for helping to make our wedding ceremony such a special memory Melanie!

I don't know how to put into words how amazing Melanie was! She came through for us when the original person we hired to perform our ceremony disappeared, and both of us agree that was the luckiest thing that could have happened. Melanie is the ONLY wedding/event designer to use if you live in the NH/ME/MA area. As we learned very quickly, planning a wedding in this part of the country can be quite tricky. Lucky for us, we found Blissful Beginnings!
Melanie handled every every aspect of the planning process with precision and grace. She went above and beyond our expectations - not a single detail was left un-checked, and the end result was a flawlessly executed wedding weekend in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport that our families and friends are still talking about. Melanie was our advocate, our tireless problem solver, our comic relief, and after all was said and done, we had a new friend.
