Alec and his team were INCREDIBLE!!! From the very start Black Tie was very responsive and communicative with us. They send helpful checklists all the months leading up to the wedding with helpful tips and tricks. Alec was also super accommodating to all of our crazy ideas and making our wedding so EPIC!!! We had a large bridal party and he was the best MC as well making all of our entrances seamless and smooth. We would not have asked for a better night and better DJ team and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was! He totally knows how to read a room and get all the guests on their feet from 20 year olds to the 70 year olds everyone was dancing and having the best time ever. Our venue had some restrictions regarding noise etc due to it being outdoors and that didn’t phase Alec one bit —- you never would have known anything was different. We can’t thank Black Tie enough for the amazing work they did!

Best DJ in Southwest Florida
Mike from Black Tie was 100% the best DJ for our wedding reception. He was excellent at getting guests out on the dance floor. He played a great variety of music. Whether you were 40 or 80, you were dancing. Even those who said they haven't danced in a long time. He was very professional and met all our requests. Hands down we highly recommend Mike from Black Tie Entertainment.

The best dj ever!
The #1 compliment we received was how fun our wedding was—and that is all thanks to our incredible DJ and amazing MC. Alec is so personable, a true professional, and kept the energy up all night.
From day one, communication was seamless, and every music request was not only met but exceeded. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests are still talking about how amazing our DJ was.
While we did receive more affordable quotes, we are so glad we chose Black Tie Entertainment—truly worth every penny. We cannot recommend them enough. Do not hesitate to book!

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience working with Alec, both during the months leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. He was incredibly responsive and enthusiastic. He went above and beyond in his role of dj by offering support in finding other vendors and answering questions unrelated to his job. He would even reach out to us every few months to check in and see if there was anything else he could do—truly above and beyond.
As far as the wedding goes, you can tell Alec truly cares about what he does. His attention to detail on the days leading up to the wedding made the wedding day go without a hitch. He also went out of his way to make my husband and I feel celebrated. The dancing part of our reception lasted a little over 2 hours. Alec had every single guest on that dance floor the entire night!! I would recommend choosing Alec 10x over! He’s seriously incredible!!!

Light Wedding
Just worked an event with Alec and he is 10/10 worth it. As vendor myself he is very professional, very flexible, and easy to work with. He helped make sure the entire day ran smoothly with sound, MC, and during party time. As a DJ, he kept the dance floor alive and guests were very happy. The bride and groom also had a blast!

Loved DJ Tony Cummings
I loved using Black Tie Entertainment. We were able to use them for the DJ Tony, uplighting, and the selfie station. DJ Tony was great at reading the room and playing things accordingly. Many people danced all night, which is what I wanted. Everyone loved the selfie station. It captures still photos or mini videos. Guests put in their cell number and the videos/pictures are sent to them, as well as to me. It was a great addition that I strongly recommend.

Best DJ we could've ever asked for
Black Tie Entertainment, specifically Alec, absolutely blew me away for our wedding. From the get go, Alec was professional, organized, and knew his stuff. He made me feel comfortable with how his services would transition seamlessly from our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception all at various locations at our venue. Then, throughout the planning process, he checked in monthly (so sweet!) with updates and answered our questions. We also had an extensive call a few weeks before the wedding to go over the vibe / song requests, and I immediately could tell he had a feel for exactly what we wanted. I completely trusted him!
Then on the day of, he was the ultimate professional. On time, worked well with all other vendors and made us feel completely comfortable. A few stand out moments: (1) my maiden name is extremely hard to pronounce :) And I told him how important it was that he got it right. He went above and beyond to ensure he was announcing EVERY single person's name properly - this was huge!!! (2) He not only was a DJ but a wonderful emcee. He brought the energy with every announcement and made guests feel comfortable and excited about what was next. (3) Finally, for the "dancing" portion of the night - this was where Alec absolutely blew me away. He truly could read the room. When a song was hitting, he would let it play on. Truly the dance floor was PACKED all night, and we had so many people tell us how incredible our DJ was. We are so, so, so happy with Alec, and we cannot recommend him more highly!!!

Don't look elsewhere!!! Black Tie Entertainment is the best! We heard about Black Tie through our wedding venue and I'm so glad we did. Alec was so helpful from the beginning of the planning stages, up until the final dance at the reception. He was so friendly, professional and FUN! We told Alec we wanted an absolute party, and he showed up and killed it. Every one of our guests was on the dance floor and said it was the best wedding they've been to with the best music. Hire them!!! You won't regret it I promise you. As long as Alec is in the business, I will call them for any events I need a DJ for.

By far the best dj around!

Dj Conner went above and beyond to make sure we were on time for while making sure nothing was skipped. Our guests danced all night and he didn’t miss a beat! We would hire him 10x over again.
Alec was who we dealt with in the whole booking process. He also make sure we had all our timeline completed properly.
This dj company cares more than just making money. They care about making sure your special night goes smoothly and we could not have asked for a better fit.

Highly recommend Black Tie Entertainment as your DJ... you will NOT be disappointed! Alec was the DJ for our wedding on December 2, 2023, and did a fantastic job!! We hired Black tie entertainment for our wedding in November of 2022, they were absolutely phenomenal. So phenomenal that we hired them again in November of 2023 for my birthday bash! Alec was the DJ for both events, phenomenal doesn't begin to describe him! He was always available for any questions I had prior to the event, he accommodated all of our requests, and kept the dance floor constantly going! The absolute best DJ (Alec) for my wedding, hands down!
I hired Blacktie entertainment for my wedding in SWFL all the way from Chicago, and i absolutely have ZERO complaints! Alec was the absolute best DJ and my expectations were beyond met. From the professionalism, to the music, to everything i ever asked for to make me and my wife’s wedding perfect. I asked Alec to do a “club” vibe wedding and it was absolutely perfect and it was everything me and my wife ever wanted in a DJ. Even my family and friends stated how awesome he was! Black Tie Entertainment was highly recommended to us by our venue (The Westin) and other vendors, and now we know why! Alec was very easy to work with and he did an amazing job on our wedding day! Diego was a great DJ for our wedding. He kept the party going and people on the dance floor, pretty much all you could ask for. He played our requested songs and checked with me if any changes needed to happen. I would highly recommend black tie entertainment! We worked with Alec from Black Tie Entertainment. They have all the forms needed for the ceremony, reception, and song requests. Alec went over all the details a week prior to the event but was also available by phone for any last minute updates. He and his assistant kept the party going and met all of our requests flawlessly. Alec and his crew were amazing! They really keyed in to our energy for the day and created an environment where you could be dancing, conversing, or relaxing with friends at any given time, which was exactly what we wanted. Our photobooth with Allison was also such a hit! The photostrips were perfect for our photobook guest book, and we'll treasure those memories forever. We would 100% hire them again

We can’t recommend Black Tie enough! From booking through wedding day, their customer service, professionalism, and excitement made them the absolute best choice for our wedding. Black Tie takes the customer’s preferences into consideration first, and provides recommendations based on their years of experience. For our wedding day, they arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go. We knew we wouldn’t have any problems and the wedding went off without a hitch. The ceremony songs were played and transitioned perfectly. The reception experience, music choices, timing of the events, and the energy that they maintained throughout the reception couldn’t have been matched by any other DJ company. I was recommended this DJ from my manager because they DJ in our club every Friday & Saturday night (Duffy’s in Cape Coral). They are every interactive & send cute emails as the wedding date gets closer. They are every detailed and overall just a pleasure to have. There was a lot of things that weren’t planned to be done (like the bouquet toss) but Conner was able to jump on board and there wasn’t a beat missed all night. He knew what music to play to get people dancing. The lights were beautiful and everyone had a amazing night. Wish I was able to post all the videos. Honestly loved them, 100% recommended for every occasion.

Alec with Black Tie Entertainment made our wedding! He and his assistant were great! From playing the music for the wedding to emceeing the event and playing great music, they gave us a wedding to remember! Alec just didn't stand there playing music - he got everyone out on the floor and made it such a fun night! He made sure we got everything on our timeline done - the speeches, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss, to a great end-of-the evening send off. The music selection was awesome!

Alec was amazing! He kept the night going and everything went off without a hitch. The music was spot on - they were able to read the crowd and make sure the dancing never stopped. He worked with us on the music selection, executed PERFECTLY, and was great to work with. Honestly, we could not have had a more fun night.
We also had a beach ceremony and cocktail hour where Black Tie Entertainment had everything set up perfectly. The officiant and vows sounded perfect, something we were concerned with on the beach. Cocktail hour music was fantastic.

Effortless and enjoyable!
When I initially contacted them about pricing and their services, Julie was so kind and helpful. She helped make sure everything was absolutely perfect. On the day of our wedding, we only had 30 guests so I was unsure if the deejay would be a hit, however our deejay Alec made it SO fun! Everyone was raving about him. He kept the dance floor lively and entertaining and also played all the music we wanted. It was such a great time! I can’t thank them enough! Also, the glow sticks and mirror booth were a great touch!

Alec at Black Tie was a lifesaver for our wedding. We had a personal tragedy a couple weeks before our wedding date, and I had not completed any information on the detailed planning forms available online. Alec personally called and walked me through it, typing everything in so I did not have to. Not only was it incredibly helpful, it also showed how much he cared for providing an excellent experience and service for his clients. We also had to get sound equipment for our ceremony at the last minute, which Black Tie was able to accommodate for a reasonable price.
During the wedding, Alec struck the perfect tone of energetic and fun, without being overboard or invasive for the size of our wedding. At our all outdoor wedding, people were enjoying the grounds and garden and Alec recognized this and played a great variety of music and not just party/dancing songs. But, when it was time to party, he really got everyone going. My now husband commented afterward he had never danced so much at a wedding ! Alec respected and played all of our special song requests. Access to the online planning forms and song databases are invaluable in planning a smooth, efficient, and FUN wedding. I highly recommend Black Tie Entertainment.

Life of the party! 🎉
We hired Black Tie Entertainment for our January 18th wedding at the JW Marriot on Marco Island. I don’t even know where to start with how wonderful Alec and Black Tie Entertainment were!
Alec was such a help during planning. He helped us to create a timeline that incorporated everything that we wanted to accomplish during our ceremony and reception. Timing is everything to keeping your wedding on track and Alec was great at helping to craft a great time schedule and making sure we stuck to it! He was full of suggestions and recommendations on what works best and his advice was priceless during the planning process. He even met with us 3 times before the wedding to make sure everything was planned just right! He worked so well with the photographer and videographer too, making sure everything was planned just right so that important moments would be captured flawlessly.
Day of, Alec and his team were true rock stars! They made sure that everything ran smoothly all day, from proper mic set up during the ceremony to a glow show at the end of the night. He kept everything together even when our site-provided wedding planner fell short. He is a wonderful master of ceremonies and has the perfect demeanor, classy and fun! We had a big mix of ages at our wedding and he kept the dance floor packed the entire time. Friends and family I have NEVER seen dance were up and moving around, I was shocked! We decided to do a glow show at the end of the night and it was a special finishing touch to a wonderful day!
Alec and Black Tie Entertainment are truly the best of the business! Thank you for making my wedding a blast!

Truly Exceptional Experience
From the moment we met Alec we knew we wanted him to be our DJ for our special day. His personality, professionalism, knowledge and love for his work was what made us feel so comfortable at our very first meeting and throughout the entire process. Alec and the Black Tie team checked in on us regularly through texts and emails, keeping us on track with what was needed to make our day a success. On our wedding day Alec and his team were early setting up and that alone made our busy day seem just a little more calm and running smoothly. We even ran a little late for the ceremony which led to a later start to our reception but Alec and his team jumped right in and kept our spirits high and was able to fit in all we had planned for that night without a hitch. We got so many compliments about our music and how great everything was planned out that night and we are still getting rave reviews from family and friends. We will be forever grateful to Alec and the Black Tie family, and will be recommending them to everyone. Thank you all so much!!

Guests couldn't stop dancing!
Cannot say enough about DJ Alec and Black Tie! We were so happy to have worked with this extremely professional DJ and company for our wedding. During the planning process, Alec was always very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. When it came to our wedding day, they exceeded all of our expectations. The event ran smoothly and in accordance to how we had planned it; our guests were very impressed. One of the main things we wanted was to have guests on the dance floor all night celebrating with us. This was definitely the case! The music was SPOT ON! We had guests from all age groups, and they all were out on the dance floor. We only provided some music preferences, and it was incredible how Alec was able to pinpoint what we and our guests liked. I will definitely be using this company for other events and highly recommend!

Black Tie Entertainment hands down was the absolute best DJ and photo booth set up for our wedding. They went above and beyond to match us with the DJ that would fit our personalities the best, and they did exactly that! DJ Jersey Johnny was out of this world amazing!!!!! My husband and I got married November 2nd and were referred to Black Tie by our wedding coordinator. They were absolutely amazing to work with. Our Wedding Day: October 11, 2019
Luis and I were married on October 11, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. Our wedding day was like a dream, and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined it to be. Its been two weeks, and our family, friends, and guests are still constantly talking about how perfect our day was and how well it all came together. We worked with Alec for our wedding day music, and he did such a wonderful job and made our day so memorable. Alec provided music services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and our wedding reception. I met with him several times, and he was always available to answer a question, call, email, or text message very quickly. He went over the details of our wedding multiple times, and made sure everything was ironed out before the big day. Alec did a great job as our MC for the night, and made our reception lots of fun! There is no other DJ I would want for my wedding. We have used Robert for over 15 years for all of our parties from sweet 16, anniversary, and weddings. Not only my family has used them but friends of the family. You want to have a party to remember, this is who you use. 5 stars isn't enough to give. Alec was absolutely fantastic! Our wedding guests ranged from there 20s-60s and he managed to get everyone up and dancing the whole night! Amazing night - Highly recommend
We are so happy that we hired Black Tie for my son's bar mitzvah! The whole night was amazing- DJ/MC Alec was so professional and led the events seamlessly. The kids enjoyed all the games and danced the whole night. Alec got everyone to participate until the very last song. The kids left saying "It was the best party ever"! Very accommodating: each time I had a question regarding songs, services or options, someone called me personally within hours. Even when I was overwhelmed with the various aspects of planning my wedding, Black Tie Ent. was calm and collected, allowing me to relax and just breathe. Great experience!

Black Tie Entertainment and Robert the DJ are awesome. They made my son's Bar Mitzvah reception a party that was memorable, interactive and just pure fun! Without them it would've just been a nice dinner. With Black Tie Entertainment it was a party!! They are extremely professional and have everything timed perfectly to make the evening move along flawlessly. I highly recommend them.

Jersey Johnny was amazing, there was never even a break in music and the dance floor was packed the entire 7.5 hour event. I would say to myself that I would go get a drink after this song and then another awesome song came on. Even guests could not rave enough about how great of a DJ we had. I would 100^ recommend Black tie to anyone getting married in SW Florida. I’d you don’t book them you are seriously missing out on a great DJ service!

Amazing with out a doubt the best! Robert worked with my daughter and fiancé on there play list! The dance floor was never empty, even Robert, the owner was out there for a dance or two!
Julie his wife is great to work for from the office level, there son was wonderful coordinating the music, everything ran sooo smooth.
And Robert was also there when we needed direction with entrance of the bridal party!!
Well worth every penny we spent. No need to look further Black Tie Entertainment is who you want for your event.

We loved having Alec DJ our wedding! Alec is so professional and kept the party going! Our friends and family said this was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. We also used their serves to DJ or ceremony outside. The reception was beautiful with all the up-lighting! The sound was perfect! I highly recommend booking Black Tie Entertainment for your next event!

They did my wedding 21 years ago and are still around to have done my sons Bar Mitzvah. I never thought they could have done a better job than they did 21 years ago but they are better than ever. Everyone had a great time, the flow of the event was flawless. They were easy to work with and get in touch with. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ

Our wedding ranged from ages 25-65 so we were a bit concerned about getting everyone up and dancing. Black Tie Entertainment got everyone up and moving for the entire night!! The music choices were right on point and the crowd couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We received so many compliments on how great the music and the deejay was. Alec was absolutely professional, fun, and had everyone’s attention at the right times!! The choice of songs and the flow in which they were played was a perfect compliment to all the guests. Everyone heard something they liked. We could not be happier with Black Tie Entertainment and would highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good time!!

It was a pleasure to work with Black Tie Entertainment for our wedding day. Robert and his team were very organized, professional, and very considerate of our needs and preferences. Roberts experience made the planning process easy with the ability to input our preferences and information on his website, and then follow up at a planning meeting before our event. He has a huge database of songs, and can obtain basically anything you want that he may not have prior to your event. They took care of entertainment for our ceremony, cocktail hour, photo booth and reception. During our reception, we had a special plan for our first dance and he was able to use his DJ skills to cut the intro song exactly how we wanted for a fun introduction, and he was great about seeing our signals to transition to the next songs when we were ready. As the MC of the wedding, he kept the entire evening on schedule based on the crowds response to songs and transitions, and we could trust fully that he knew when to take us into the next phase of the party and did not have a worry while we were enjoying our celebration. He was extremely flexible, adaptable and kind, and took care of any minor hiccups that occurred. We are thankful for the extremely fun and memorable evening provided to us by Black Tie Entertainment and would recommend them to anyone for their events!

Black Tie Entertainment & DJ Alec are the best in Southwest Florida!!!!! Our wedding ceremony and reception went smoothly and perfect! The dance floor was packed the entire evening! They have many years of experience. Professional and personable through and through. They truly guide you through your wedding and reception. Having planned many events, I am a perfectionist. They are the only ones that I trusted for my own wedding. I've had several people tell me it was the best reception they have ever been to! A big part was due to DJ Alec and Black Tie Entertainment!!

Mr Jeff Jodice was our DJ at the wedding. He also provided the music for ceremony. It was superb. We had the best time. He provided the music we had requested and everyone was on the dance floor. I would recommend Mr Jodice for any event.

Julie was great to deal with in regards to the coordination prior to the wedding. She was quick to respond and answered all of our questions.
Scott and Alex did a great job the day of! They are true professionals, very entertaining and just great to work with. Scott kept everyone engaged and made everything flow so well. We received so many compliments form our friends and family after the wedding saying how much fun they had. Scott and Alex are definitely to thank for that.

Just got married and Robert was amazing! Very flexible, professional, reads the crowd well, he made our wedding one of the best events for our family and friends for our destination wedding in Sanibel Florida. Highly recommend Robert and his team for any event. The sound system was outstanding for both an outside ceremony and reception. The uplighting he supplied coordinated with every aspect of the event. I could not be more pleased! Our guests are raving about how our wedding was one of the best they be ever been to. Thank you Robert!

The guys were great! Always asking us if we needed anything at all even not music related. They made sure everything was done in a timely manner and keeping us on track. They had every genre of music to keep people of all ages on the dance floor. The uplighting was awesome and flashed to the beat of the music! I would highly reccomend black tie entertainment!

Rob & Julie were beyond spectacular to work with. From the very beginning they were always there to help us. Rob truly ran the show! Rob provided our music for the entire event: pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception (totally recommend sticking with the same music/DJ. Guests were raving about the music, DJ, and overall atmosphere of our wedding in comparison to others they have been to. Scott and Alec kept the guests on the dance floor during the reception. Although, there were only a few of my requested songs played, all of the songs for designated for the first dance, cake cutting and processionals were played. All of my guests had a great time on the dance floor and later complimented how upbeat and lively the atmosphere was. I would hire them again!

Black Tie Entertainment was great! My husband and I were really debating getting a DeeJay for our small wedding of 28 people (9 kids) but after talking it through with Julie at Black Tie - we decided to go for it and we don't regret it one bit. We were worried people weren't going to dance being such a small group but the dance floor was used all night and we had the most FUN! Alec, our DeeJay, was so professional and executed all of our requests. I didn't want the night to end - it was just perfect! I highly recommend Black Tie Entertainment!
