Bill is the best!

Bill was a joy to work with! He goes about and beyond to make sure your day is extra special! Our favorite thing he did was record our voices talking about one another and insert it in our first dance song- everyone was in tears! It was so special! We appreciate Bill so much and he was the best investment we made on our wedding day!

Helps lessen the stress - 5 stars!

Bill was the perfect choice, and we knew it from our first conversation. We had fun brainstorming right off the bat and getting to know each other. He was easy to talk to, personable, and put us at ease. He was always willing and ready to listen and help us at every turn - from talking about ideas, to even talking to vendors for us to coordinate when we were overwhelmed. He was never too busy for us, and we were impressed that he was more than happy to give us advice on all areas of our wedding, not just "his part." Bill also helped ease our stress during the planning process and even on the day of. Let's face it: planning a wedding is insanely stressful, and Bill was there to talk us through ever challenge, hardship, frustration, stressful moment, but most importantly, he was there to share in our joy. He checked on us periodically throughout our wedding day to make sure we were doing well and had everything we needed. He was a joy to work with and helped make our day the best day it could possibly be. We would highly recommend Bill to help do the same for your big day!

You won’t regret hiring Bill!

We were referred to Bill by some family friends and we are so thankful! From our first virtual meeting with Bill to all the meetings after, he was so excellent to work with. You can tell Bill is passionate about what he does and he puts his all into his work. Bill felt like a friend to us as he encouraged us to call, text or email him with absolutely anything. He was so approachable and easy to work with. He was so helpful on the day of the wedding also - keeping all of us in line! He was a show stopper with some special features for the mother daughter dance, the story of how my husband and I met… the whole night was magical. The dance floor was never empty and the infamous “that DJ sucked” line was not even a whisper. In fact, multiple guests asked us about Bill because they were so impressed by him - as were we! He’s so great at what he does and we are so thankful he was a huge part of our unforgettable day!

Bill made our wedding celebration one of kind!

You will not regret hiring Bill as your entertainment for the biggest day of your life! He was an absolute joy to work with and has the most calming demeanor. Always making sure I, the very nervous bride, was doing ok the entire day/night. Bill was very professional and never made me feel uneasy about a decision or time frame during the planning process. Bill is by far and away the best thing we did for our wedding!

Bill has a humongous heart! He did such a thorough job! Our day was made with all the thoughtful suggestions and effort he put in. He spent quality time getting to know me and my husband so he could tell our love story in many different ways on our big day. I found Bill at a friends wedding 6 years ago and was SO blown away. I kept his card the entire time so I could have him for my wedding. We absolutely love Bill!

Bill is the BEST!!

Bill is so much more than a MC/DJ! He also served as an event coordinator and met with my husband and I numerous times to ensure our day went as smoothly as possible. After our wedding most of our friends also booked Bill for their wedding. He is worth every penny and you will not regret your decision. He makes such a unique and personal experience you and your guests will never forget.

Over the top!

Several months before our wedding my sister-in-law-to-be attended a wedding where Bill was the Master of Ceremonies. Even though we had already hired a well known and pretty expensive band, she INSISTED we talk to Bill. One zoom later, Bill was our Master of Ceremonies. To say Bill “made the day” would be a gross understatement. Our guests came from one end of the US to the other and even from Europe and Alaska. Bill had everyone feeling like blood relatives before dinner ended and kept the energy high for over seven hours! Bill not only did an outstanding job with his role, but also filled in the gaps for a less than stellar wedding planner. Bill was so amazing that just one year later we flew him to Philadelphia for daughter’s wedding. Her wedding was very different because it had been moved from a large beautiful venue to our backyard. With only 28 guests allowed I feared she would not “feel” like she had a wedding. Bill worked with her and fiancée intensely for weeks and weeks to help them feel right about their choice to get married at home. WOW!! Bill made that party feel like New Year’s Eve at the Four Seasons!!! His final words (before we walked down the aisle) to my daughter and me still bring tears to my eyes, “This is YOUR DAY. When you arrive at the rear of the guest seating STOP. Look around, smile, take in the faces of the 28 people you chose to be with you today and enjoy the moment.” I still can see all 28 of those faces today. Thank you Bill for your service, your counsel, your heart and your friendship.

Exceeded our expectations!

We attended a wedding that Bill MC’d for and we were blown away. It was the first wedding dance we actually remembered and talked about for the 2 years until we got engaged ourselves. Bill personalized every bit of the day and made it special just for us. We got an unbelievable amount of compliments at our reception and months after. A compliment that stuck out that I received that stuck out “this is the first wedding reception that I’ve been to in *insert small hometown* that the point of the get together wasn’t to get drunk and forget why we’re here, instead we’re actually celebrating you and your husband as a couple because of your DJ! And that’s really cool!!” We we’re also disappointed in our photographer, it is the only thing I would change about our day, AND still Bill filled in for a job that he wasnt asked to do, or expected to do, and the day after our wedding he sent us a Dropbox of 100+ photos of our reception. I make it my personal mission to recommend Bill to every future bride, every chance I get. You won’t regret it.

Bill is the BEST! He helped from start to finish with the guests and made sure our wedding was incredibly personalized. I think Bill is the secret sauce for what makes a wedding uniquely yours and honors the wedding party and parents appropriately. He has all kinds of ideas and while it may be extra work before the wedding, it is well worth it! He's the bomb!

Bill turned our daughter's wedding from an event to an experience. He greeted guests as they came into the reception encouraging everyone to be part of the fun. He kept the party going from beginning to end. I was wary when my daughter told me how much they were spending on a DJ. Bill is so much more than a DJ, he was the ultimate party host. The comment I heard most often was, "that was the most fun I ever had at a wedding". Highly recommend!

Bill Hermann was phenomenal and he helped make our wedding truly memorable as our MC! We even have guests from our wedding who still bring up how outstanding, funny, and just plain awesome our MC was, and our wedding was almost 2 years ago!!

We wanted entertainment... and let me tell you... we GOT ENTERTAINMENT! Our wedding was truly a production, and it wouldn't have been the same without Bill!

He was such a pleasure to work with! He had great ideas and an awesome personality. He really helped produce an amazing reception for us. We especially loved how he crafted our bridal party introductions in such a way that our guests really got to know my husband and I and everyone in our bridal party. That doesn't happen too often!

If you're still looking for a MC/DJ, go with Bill. You'll be SO glad you did!

Bill Hermann is a consummate wedding entertainment professional. His services came highly recommended to us from multiple newlyweds and guests alike. In truthfulness, we could not find a single negative review of Bill and made the decision to hire him. To say that he exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. Bill has a remarkable ability to connect with, engage, and entertain guests from the moment they walk through your reception doors until the last note of your closing song.

Any DJ service can play music and check the obligatory boxes on your wedding reception checklist. Bill Hermann is so much more than that. He is a true master of ceremonies and was able to deliver our wedding story to guests in unforgettable fashion. Prior to hiring Bill, our biggest concerns were having an unorganized reception or disengaged guests. Bill set a perfect tempo for the evening and never missed a beat when transitioning between segments. He brought amazing energy to our reception and had guests of all ages excited to dance and participate in activities throughout the night. Bill was nothing but professional in all phases of our event.

I am certain that you can spend less on another wedding entertainer, but I doubt any of them can produce a return on investment anywhere near the services of Bill Hermann. Like many couples, my wife and I had a wedding budget. We simply made a commitment to prioritize a fun and memorable reception. Bill delivered true to form and, in retrospect, we cannot imagine hiring anyone else for our special day. It has been over 18 months since we wed and we are still getting compliments on Bill's services.

Bill Hermann definitely did not disappoint! We first heard about Bill through my wedding planner, Rebecca, from Simply Devine. We wanted something/someone unique, fun, and completely different for our wedding reception and Bill was a great fit for us! When we met in person for the first time, I could tell he was everything and more than I had read on any review written about him. He not only wanted to know about our wedding details, but wanted to get to know us as a couple first. He asked about our love story & how we met, what our expectations, vision, and hope for our wedding day was, and never once did I feel like he was trying to convince us to hire him without knowing what we would be agreeing to. I remember him saying towards the end of our first meeting, that even if we didn't choose him, he hoped he was helpful in getting a vision for how we wanted to celebrate our wedding day. We did end up choosing him and wouldn't have imagined our day with anyone else, but Mr. Bill.

We loved having Bill MC our wedding! He personalized our reception well and was willing to work around our schedules and needs. Bill made himself available to us before the wedding and was a great expert and pillar of support with little details surrounding the wedding. Bill Hermann was the Master of Ceremonies for my wedding in October. As the MC of the night, he exceeding all my expectations and went above and beyond to ensure a great reception. From the moment guests arrived to the reception hall, Bill worked fabulously with our reception hall vendor to ensure flow during the evening. Because of his years of experience in this profession, he was able to successfully remain in contact with all my vendors, including the catering staff, my photographer as well as a point person who I determined, which resulted in great moments being captured by the photographer (because she knew what to expect), and ultimately a worry-free evening for the bride and groom. During the evening, he kept all the guests engaged. He made introductions special and made sure the flow of the events remained in sync. This engagement continued through the whole dance and we found that our guests stayed on the dance floor until the very last song. Last, Bill made sure that the evening was going to be exactly what my husband and I wanted. We had one on one meetings to discuss the evenings festivities, and if I had thought of questions after our meetings or needed clarification, he was always readily available through phone or email. I would recommend Bill to anyone. While he provides a service of a DJ, he is far greater than that and was able to capture and execute my vision of a reception perfectly. I would recommend Bill as a Master of Ceremonies for any wedding. I have been to many weddings and can honestly say that he truly has a talent unlike any other DJ.

Ever since we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted Bill to be our Master of Ceremonies (MC). He did my Husband's sister's wedding as well as his cousin's so you can say he's like part of the family. We are so lucky Bill was able to fly all the way from Minnesota to San Diego to do our wedding. Bill set up skype meetings months leading up to the wedding and went through all the details of the reception so we would know what to expect. He interviewed both of us and learned about our love story, our wedding party, and our families so that he could create a personal, one of a kind, experience for our wedding day. Bill made sure our wedding was meaningful and memorable to all our friends and family. With Bill's exceptional planning, our reception just flowed beautifully, especially the very special (but long) Vietnamese traditional meet and greet of each guest table. Bill made our guests laugh when he introduced our wedding party during the grand entrance, cry during the father daughter dance, and smile when we had our first dance. With his experience and passion for making weddings great, every part of the reception was planned by Bill to create a spectacular moment everyone would enjoy and remember. Even though it had been over 6 months since our wedding, we still receive compliments of how fun our wedding was, especially our reception, and that's a big thanks to Bill.

Bill was wonderful to work with from the very beginning! He was very responsive via email or phone during the planning process and left me totally at ease on my wedding day. He worked with the hotel and the pastor on everything that needed to be worked out for ceremony and reception music. He kept the dance floor full all night and even surprised us with glow sticks! I never thought of hiring anyone other than Bill! He does a great job keeping everyone entertained so you are actually able to enjoy your own wedding! At the end of the night everyone was chanting for him to play one more song. He went above and beyond by staying in touch with all my other vendors so the entire day would run as smooth as possible. He makes sure the day stays about you and what you want! I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Bill was a major asset to our wedding. Having him as our emcee took a lot of pressure of my husband and I. Normally, I worry about entertaining people or whether or not everyone is having a good time. With Bill involved we were able to completely enjoy ourselves with no worry. He took the time to get to know us and really made our wedding personable. We had many guests come up to us and tell us how this was the most personal and unique wedding that they have ever been to. He was definitely the best money that we spent and we would recommend him to anyone.

If you want more than a person that stands in the corner playing music on their laptop and you want a unique experience that will have guests saying, "Wow, I've never seen that at a wedding reception before", choose Bill Hermann. He made our reception all about us and told our love story to our guests in a creative way with help from our input. My husband and I aren't the type of people that like to be in the spotlight, but Bill took over the reception as our Master of Ceremonies and made the evening's events flow so we didn't have to lift a finger. Bill is very open-minded and want's your experience to be unforgettable; we would choose him again in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Bill!

Bill was hands down the best part of the wedding. EVERYONE loved him and he made the night perfect. The idea of planning a wedding was somewhat terrifying to me, but he made the whole process smoother. We met with Bill multiple times and he invested a lot of time and effort into making sure we were happy and everything was perfect. He had lots of great ideas and was so much more than just a DJ! Would book him again in a heartbeat.

Bill made our wedding day! I had so many comments about how awesome he was by SO many guests. He customized our wedding to us and our wedding party which made it very special to both my husband and I. He went above and beyond and also made the trip to Red Wing with us to meet with our wedding planner; who he also coordinated with leading up to the wedding and the day of. To categorize Bill as just a DJ is about as unfair as it gets. Having someone who knows how to keep the dance floor packed is great, but if you want a truly special, one-of-a-kind experience, turn to Bill. All my favorite memories from my wedding are ones that Bill was instrumental in creating.

Bill was great! He was very flexible and always seemed available when I needed help and input in the planning stages. On the day of he made the whole evening go smoothly, and made the night fun for all of my guests. I had so many people come up to me that night and ask where I found him! He was the best, and I am so happy he was a part of our wedding!

Bill Hermann was excellent! You definitely get what you pay for and I still have people that comment on how awesome our dj was and how unique it made our reception. He is more than just a dj....I would call him the master of ceremonies, because he made the whole reception run very smoothly. Simply amazing!!

Bill is an absolute must have at your wedding! He is not your typical DJ, rather, he is a master of entertainment. Bill hosts and directs the entire evening and commands the room. Everyone wouldn't stop talking about how amazing he was. Bill does some unique things at the wedding that you will not see from any other entertainer which really makes the evening. Our wedding went perfectly because of him! Great job, Bill!

Bill was a great addition to our wedding. Having him in charge of the reception allowed my family and my wedding party to relax and have fun. Bill was able to engage our guests while making the reception all about the bride and groom. I truly enjoyed his help and would highly recommend working with him.

Everyone at our wedding said it was one of the best or the best wedding they had ever been to and I credit a lot of that to Bill Hermann. I was the first of most of my friends to get married and hadn't been to a lot of weddings so I didn't have a lot of help with planning. Bill was extremely helpful in the wedding planning process! He helped us coordinate the rehearsal, the ceremony, and the reception! He kept things moving and made everything fun and exciting so no one wanted to leave! I was amazed at the end of the night that the dance floor was still full and everyone was still having a blast! He also made it so I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding! I couldn't have done it without him! I would highly recommend him to anyone and even if you're on a tight budget he was so worth it!

Unique Services: Master of Ceremonies - Bill really ran the whole reception from the moment we walked in the door. He puts in all the extra time energy to get to know the couple and use that to make a personalized and entertaining reception venue. After seeing what Bill can do at a wedding any wedding without him is just not complete. He will go above and beyond to make the day special, perfect, and unforgettable. I couldn't say enough about Bill and what he did for our wedding day. He truly made it different than any other wedding I have been to. My husband and I first learned of Bill when we saw him at a friend's wedding and despite not being engaged at the time, we made the comment that when the day would come for us to be married, this is who we would want for our DJ/wedding entertainer. His attention to personalizing each and every event during the reception was incredible. Bill made our reception flow incredibly smooth and went off without a hitch. Despite being a bit more pricey than other DJs, he is so much more than your "typical" DJ. I sincerely believe our reception would have been incredibly different had he not been the one running the show. We looked at him as our "wedding insurance" to make sure that everything would go the way we would want it to, smoothly, flawlessly, and most importantly, FUN!!!

If you haven't seen Bill's work the cost is a little scary! However, it is worth EVERY PENNY!! From the very beginning he was always willing to help me with what he could even if it had nothing to do with the DJ aspect of it all!! He is very informative and keeps the reception going! So many people said what a good job he did!! We definitely won't ever forget him!!!

Bill is awesome! He worked with us and really got to know us as a couple. We feel like he understood our vision for our wedding and worked to help us achieve that vision. Bill is an excellent DJ and Entertainer. He met with us to go over so many details proir to the wedding, so that everything would run smoothly. Sure enough, everything went perfect. He created so many moments for us throughout the reception, and we heard many compliments about things he added for us--love story, wedding party "profiles", our pie cutting, we had a slideshow...the list goes on. Everything went very well, and everything was taken care of with Bill's help. He was prepared, set up on time, and did as we requested throughout the night.
He is simply, SO much MORE than "just another DJ" who plays songs. He comes up with so many unique things and ideas for the reception. He is absolutely worth every penny! Bill is an outstanding performer, entertainer, MC, and DJ--and he even took nearly 200 pictures during the reception! He did a fantastic job, and he really made our reception absolutely perfect!! I will recommend him to anyone planning a reception of any kind -- I've seen him at other parties too ;)

Bill Hermann Entertainment was the best part of our entire day. The service was expensive, but worth it. I got many compliments on my 'master of ceremonies', as Bill provided much more than just music.

Bill Hermann was the main reason we heard "This is the best wedding we have ever been to" over and over again! He is a wedding reception entertainer and takes all of the worry about your guests having fun! Our guests had a blast! He has unique ideas on how to present the Bride and Groom, their wedding party, the Father/Daughter dance, Mother/Son dance, garter toss, bouquet toss, Love Story Presentation, etc., etc. He keeps the party going! There was never a dull moment. He is worth every penny you pay! We highly recommend him!

Bill was AMAZING! Out of all the vendors I booked for my wedding I was the most impressed and happiest with Bill Hermann. My entire family, grooms family and guest ALL commented on how fantastic our reception was because of Bill being there. He was warm, inviting and personable to everyone involved in our wedding. From the minute I met Bill I knew he would be amazing but I had no idea what I was in store for until I arrived at our reception. He helped me out of the limo, ushered my husband and I into the reception hall and entertained our guest all night... no one wanted to end the night. We still had about 75% of our guest at the reception at the end of the night. I would HIGHLY recommend Bill he will go above and beyond your expectations!

Everyone had a blast at our reception because of the organization and professionalism that Bill provided. People were engaged and commented that it was "the best reception they'd ever been too". I was amazed at wonderful everything turned out, he was better then I ever could've imagined!

My now-husband actually insisted that we have Bill Hermann as the MC for our wedding, and I am so glad that he did! While definitely on the more expensive side, Bill is so much more than just a DJ. He really takes the time to get to know each of his couples and works closely with them to make sure that they feel good about everything leading up to the wedding, and is an ever bigger help on the actual wedding day! Bill made sure that everything was running smoothly and that my husband and I were well taken care of. His attention to detail is incredible, and he thinks of everything! Not to mention, he is very well known in the wedding business and has every imaginable connection. If you have the room in your budget, you should absolutely consider Bill Hermann as a part of your wedding day!

My mom told me about Bill from some weddings she'd attended. The minute I got engaged she insisted I meet with Bill and consider him for my wedding. I emailed him asking for pricing and he said that we would meet first. I knew then that he would cost more than the typical "play music" DJ's. My fiance and I met with him for 2 hours one Sunday and both were really excited about what he could do for our wedding day. It wasn't until the wedding day that I actually understood how amazing Bill would be. He exceeded my expectations. He kept the reception humming along, he ensured the guests had fun, he made sure I was doing ok. Its almost been a month since I was married and my guests are still calling, emailing and telling me how much fun they had and how awesome the DJ was. If you have it in your budget Bill is well worth all the money you spend on him!!!
