Jessica R. is an absolute dream to work with! She was recommended to us by our friends who also hired her to do their wedding photos (of which I was in), so it just seemed meant to be. She is so kind and thoughtful and made everything so simple and easy from the very beginning. She was also so great with the young children (3 y/o and 10 y/o) in easing their worries and also getting them to smile and cooperate as needed to take the photos. Everyone had such a good time with her and we are so excited to see our photos! Cannot recommend Jessica enough! -

Rachel was super easy and fun to work with. She was able to step in and photograph our wedding on shorter notice. Planning with her was quick and efficient. She had lots of great visions and poses on the wedding day but was also happy to accommodate our requests as well. -

Your Photographer Matters
We went through Bellagala for our engagement and wedding photos and were so grateful to have Bruce as our photographer. He is such a personable and beyond talented photographer who went above and beyond to ensure he not only captured our story in the most beautiful way but also made sure our wedding day was unbelievably stress free. We haven’t gotten our wedding pictures back yet but our engagement pictures were everything and more, and we know our wedding pictures will be too. Andrew is a champion
We hired Andrew at Bellegala for our wedding photography and could not have had a better experience. Andrew had a second photographer, Rachael, who was also excellent. They were well prepared for the whole day, and kept a great balance of letting us socialize while also pulling us out to take advantage of the 5-minute picture perfect lighting windows. Craig and I picked Emmerlee for our photographer after stalking her underwater photo skills on IG. That is how we knew she was the one for us. She was able to perfectly capture our vision for timeless nighttime city scape photo shoot with a little twist of our own personality. She nailed it! We were so in love with our engagement photos that we knew we would love our wedding photos. Her talent, attention to detail, and fabulous eye helped to capture the ascetic we were going for and letting us be our selves and letting our own personalities show too. Our wedding day was perfect. We are so excited to see our photos, we are also so glad we chose a second shooter. Barclay also killed it, brining another beautiful fun eye that matched our exact wants without us knowing it. You can feel the passion Barclay brings to each shot. Thank you both so much for helping capture the best day of our life!! We booked Billy Kumoro through Bellagala for our wedding at the Van Dusen Mansion as well as our engagement shoot the year prior. His attention to detail is unmatched. I still have guests coming up to me talking about how friendly and dedicated our photographer was. For the wedding he brought along a second shooter that matched the vibe perfectly and they seemed to work flawlessly together. We seriously cannot recommend Billy Kumoro enough! -

Billy was absolutely amazing! We had such a great and fun experience working with him. He was booked for 8 hours but even stayed an extra 30 minutes after to capture more dance photos, which we were so grateful for. Both Billy and his assistant were such a good time to work with and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. He also did our engagement photoshoot, and those photos turned out beautifully as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! -

Andrew was fun, CREATIVE, and genuinely passionate about capturing our small and big moments.
We thought we were good in front of the camera (we are not), but with his suggestions, he made us feel comfortable enough that we became amazing behind his camera.
The candid shots, each moment, and the portraits were all captured with his art. We've only seen the sneak peaks, but our photos are Vogue magazine cover quality.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Heather H. through Bellagala Photography. Heather is an absolutely phenomenal photographer, but she's also so much more. She was incredible at communicating leading up to the event, answered any and all questions that I had and was extremely thorough.
On the day of the wedding, she absolutely blew us away. She captured the perfect photos, but also consistently checked in with me (the bride) to make sure I had what I needed, reminded me to eat, and helped ease any stress throughout the day. She knew exactly when to step in and take control, keeping everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed or pressured.
She genuinely went above and beyond our expectations and truly made our day even more special. I couldn't recommend her more. Our experience with Bellagala Photography could not have been anymore perfect! Bonita did our initial shots for our Save the Date photos and we felt like we were heard by her in how we wanted the shots. Those were completed in fall 2024 at Elm Creek Park. She captured the colors and the lighting effortlessly and we were so happy with the end results. Due to an unforeseen emergency, Bellagala photography did have to switch us to different photographers for our wedding, in this case Billy and Emmerlee, but they took care of us!! Billy and Emmerlee did an excellent job capturing our day, the pictures still bring tears to my eyes even a few weeks later. They captured the most memorable moments during our ceremony, they utilized the landscape perfectly to exemplify the beauty of our venue, the angles brought out the best in all of our expressions, and they were on the constant looking for moments to shoot. Billy's creativity is awe-inspiring and Emmerlee as his help was tireless in making sure my dress and florals were in the correct position. We completed ALL of our family shots we wanted in a TIMELY and THOROUGH fashion, which is a tall order considering how many family shots we had. We also completed a 'Golden Hour' shoot and those were absolutely stunning. I cannot rave enough about how these two professionals are still bringing us back to our day over and over again with their beautiful photos. I do suggest you have two photographers, especially if you have a beautiful venue. They were constantly working for us and we cannot say thank you enough, our hope is this review will assure that Billy and Emmerlee get the accolades, attention, and work they so deserve. Andrew Parfenov did both our engagement and wedding photos. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was a lot of fun. He clearly cares a lot about his work and getting the right shots. Most importantly the results are fantastic. The way he uses depth of field and perspective produces really unique/beautiful/stunning results. These were not run-of-the-mill photos – they really stood out and will be images we cherish for the rest of our lives. The photos were easily the most important part of my wife and I's wedding. We wanted the best possible photos and our photographer, Dan Amundsen, was so great at all things photography. We booked him for an 8-hour block and he was there every step of the way during our wedding day. Jessica and Brady were the definition of professional and attentive photographers. During the first meeting I had with her we just clicked and I felt that she was so organized, professional, and considerate. I felt very comfortable being in her care. We were very lucky to be paired with them through BellaGala. They knew exactly what the plan was for the day, made sure to take every single photo we requested, made sure we were comfortable with everything during the entire experience, helped keep everyone in line and on schedule (we had somehow became an hour late in our schedule but they got us back to being on time without making it stressful at all), and also made sure we had water breaks during the warm day! Brady had so many tips for my husband when it came to emotions, how to handle our first look, and taking pictures in general. He also made sure my husband had tissues in his pockets at all times for me (and I used them often lol). Jessica was so kind and supportive the whole day, making all my dreams come true, staying late to get amazing shots we didn’t quite get to before the dance, worked so well with our kids- the little ring bearer and flower girl. She made it so easy to look good and feel good all day - I can’t stress enough how amazing they were. They absolutely get my recommendation and 5/5 stars - I would give more stars if I could! I haven’t even gotten pictures yet but I know they’re going to be SO amazing, just based on the whole experience and the few she showed me on her camera at the wedding. I’m so excited to get them back and I’m excited for anyone who has them booked in the future, you’ll love either/both of them! -

We used Billy Kumoro as our photographer through Bellagala. He did an absolutely incredible job. Our photos turned out amazing. I would highly recommend Billy to everyone. He took the time to make sure that he captured every great moment on our wedding day. He went above and beyond to make the day special for us. He even went out of his way to capture moments that would have been difficult to get. He was positive and upbeat and a pure joy to work with. We had great communication before our wedding day. We were able to meet with him twice, and he was prepared and professional. On our wedding day, he was super insightful and knew what he was doing. He had great ideas for posing and fun backgrounds for our photos. Whatever we needed, he was ready to go. He was so kind to all of our guests and was really interactive. The photos he did were stunning and he was prompt at getting them back to us. His work is stunning and elegant. We had the absolute honor of having David Esquire as our photographer, and we couldn’t have chosen a better person for the job. He took our engagement photos, and from that very first session, we knew we were in great hands.
We’re typically shy and not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but David gave us clear direction, helped us loosen up, and brought out our best — the photos turned out amazing! On our wedding day, he showed up with incredible energy that was truly contagious. He made everyone feel excited and at ease.
What we appreciated most is how intentional he is with every shot. David doesn’t just snap photos to fill an album — he thoughtfully composes each one to tell a story. We are so thankful for the moments he captured and couldn’t recommend him more highly for your wedding or any special occasion! -

We had our wedding at Equestria West at Bavaria Downs and opted for the Essentials package which included a photographer with Bellagala. I was a bit nervous to be assigned a photographer that wasn't our choice however the minute I met Jessica R, my fears were quickly resolved. Our engagement session was flawless and she quickly made us comfortable. She was professional, fun and helpful and our wedding day was no different! From the moment she arrived, she offered insighful direction and creative ideas. She was organized, efficient, fun and playful. Her second photographer was her husband, which my husband was calling Uncle B. He raved about Brady and said he was so helpful in getting the boys organized while they were getting dressed and I'm sure he got some great candid photos in the men's suite. My husband and I were so thankful for both Jessica and Brady. They truly made our day feel special and I would 100% recommend them to anyone. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give them. We had the best experience working with Andrew! He worked his butt off on our wedding day — calm, composed, and totally open to the (very long!) list of shots I wanted. He remembered which locations mattered to us and made sure we got everything we envisioned.
Leading up to the wedding, he was super responsive and easy to communicate with. We had multiple check-in calls, and he was always helpful, professional, and kind. On the day of, he directed us efficiently so we could get our photos done and get back to enjoying celebration with our friends and family without feeling rushed or stressed.
He brought such a positive, calming energy and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He captured a perfect mix of posed and candid moments, and he even coordinated with our DJ, planner, and hair/makeup team to make sure everything flowed smoothly.
We recently got our photos back and absolutely love them. It’s clear that Andrew’s work is a step above — the images are not only stunning, but they feel personal, artful, and full of life. He captured the emotion, the fun, and all the little in-between moments we’ll want to remember forever. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to document our day — highly, highly recommend! -

When my now-husband and I got engaged and started planning our wedding, my mom advised us to splurge on a photographer because that's how we will remember our wedding. I am really grateful for having received that advice. Our wedding flew by in the blink of an eye and the beautiful pictures we have will commemorate the day forever.
We had an amazing experience working with Andrew Parfenov from Bellagala. We picked him from his portfolio alone - his work truly speaks for itself. We booked an engagement session, 9 hours of coverage on our wedding day, and a photo album. The investment was worth it, without a doubt. He was extremely easy to communicate and work with, and whenever we had to change details, he was flexible.
It was quite clear to us from our first call with Andrew that he is an artist. He is very passionate about his work and has extensive experience with wedding photography. He walked us through a loose schedule of our wedding day and the various moments he planned to capture, while making space to listen for any feedback we had for him. We felt confident in choosing him as our wedding photographer right after that first phone call.
He does an incredible job of taking full advantage of his surroundings to capture beautiful photos. For example, our engagement photos were in downtown Anoka and he hadn't been in the area before, yet he identified many photogenic spots for us on the fly - we were extremely impressed with the diversity of backdrops captured in our engagement photos.
When it came to the actual wedding day, we didn't have many specific expectations about poses or shots, and Andrew took charge - it was very easy to follow his lead and SO WORTH IT to trust his vision.

If you have the opportunity to have Jessica R photograph your wedding and/or engagement photos.. DO IT! Photos aside for a moment..:
-Her communication is timely and detailed, she anticipated our questions before I even had a chance to ask and she is very responsive.
-She made our wedding day SO MUCH FUN. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable in front of the camera and her energy and guidance made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable.
-She kept us on track to make sure we got all of our “must have” photos throughout the day with all of our different groups of guests.
-She covered every detail in our planning session before the wedding, so we didn’t have to worry about anything day-of. I could go on and on about how great the experience of working with her was.

We chose Bellagala for photography and videography because they had good reviews and we were able to get an amazing deal. We liked that they allowed you to pick your photographer, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice, Bonita. She was super communicative, patient, kind, and great at instructing us on what to do. My husband is not the most comfortable on camera, and I am only a little comfortable, but Bonita was great in giving us guidance on everything. She was great at blending into the scenery enough so that it didn’t seem as if there was paparazzi around. Not to mention, her photographs are beautiful and we are so happy with how our sneak peek turned out! If all of this isn’t enough to convince you, consider the fact that she was willing to sacrifice herself for a good shot when she fell down (safely, luckily) looking for the perfect angle! We chose to have a 2nd photographer as the wedding party was getting ready at separate venues. Sarah was our 2nd photographer and she was also wonderful! She was so kind, helpful, easy to work with, and a great hype girl for the entire wedding party. She was also just as committed as Bonita to getting the perfect shot, such as when she would throw up my veil then sprinting away to be out of frame. I can’t necessarily speak to other Bellagala photographers, but if their caliber is anything like Bonita’s (and Sarah’s!) then I’m sure they're also wonderful! -

Andrew P. Was our Bellagala photographer and he completely turned around a bad experience. We had gone with an independent photographer originally. After getting terrible engagement pictures back we were scrambling to quickly book someone. Bellagal was able to connect us with Andrew. He was AMAZING! He took our engagment photos and made us comfortable and feel our best. That was just phase 1, the wedding was beyond our expectations. Even our guests commented how awesome he was!
