We decided to do things a bit differently than most people. We got married before we traveled, but knew we wanted our photos done in Alaska. Penny understood exactly what we were looking for and helped immensely to make it happen. She helped us find a florist and make up artist and directed us to so many beautiful locations. The photos turned out so much better than I ever imagined and the whole experience was so much fun! The photo book we got in our package is beautifully put together and amazing quality. We would highly recommend Becoming Images for anyone looking for a truly unique and wonderful experience.Becoming Images's reply:

Penny is awesome! We had such a great time during our engagement session and she worked around her schedule just to make sure we got the perfect weather and locations. She got the pictures to us quickly and we were so happy with how they turned out !Becoming Images's reply:

Penny shot our engagement photos, wedding, and day after the wedding (which I highly recommend to get the shots you want that you didn't have time for.) She flew all the way from Alaska to Virginia for both days. She was so professional and kind. She made us feel comfortable and was attentive to our needs. She listens and collaborates with you in order to get your dream photos. For the photos and time spent it is a great price and penny is willing to work with you. We had so much fun laughing with her and getting to know her. Not to mention her photos are something out of a magazine or movie. I highly recommend her to anybody looking for a wedding photographer. The best experience we have ever had with a photographer.
Penny from becoming Images is one of the kindest human being I have ever met, and her talent matches her kindness. My husband and and I eloped in Alaska, and were so lucky to find Her. She came to get us in Juneau which was one of the port where we got off, she put us in contact with an amazing officient, and flower shop, and they all worked together to make our day magical. Penny orchestrated everything so that we wouldn’t be stressed, and found the most beautiful peaceful beach for us to get married on, and took us around Juneau and took pictures at different locations, which was great as we had never been there.
Penny makes you feel very comfortable during the shoot, and knows how to capture the true you, while mixing in her personal touch. My husband and I feel we could not have had a better day, and we owe it all to Penny! We love the wedding pictures she took, and all the people and places she recommended. She is AMAZING!Becoming Images's reply:

Couldn't recommend Penny enough
Like many engaged couples of 2020, we married in an elopement ceremony and pushed our larger wedding farther down the timeline. Our elopement was planned within a month or two, and it was important for us to spend our money wisely since we also had a wedding in our future. I reached out to Penny with our ideas, and she helped me and my spouse develop a price and plan to exactly what we requested. She shot both our engagement photos, followed by our elopement less than a month later. We received both galleries within a month from each session. Penny was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I couldn't be more happy that we hired her to help us out in this crazy time. I truly feel that my husband and I gained a friend here in Juneau.Becoming Images's reply:

Awesome People, Awesome Photos
Kelsey & I worked with Penny and Kaley for our wedding and we love the photos! We appreciated being able to talk with them ahead of time to discuss our preferences. The results are exactly what we wanted. Kaley was very generous with her time and even did a pre-wedding photoshoot with us so we could get to know her. Once we received the photos, Penny was very patient and helpful as we chose and ordered our prints. Penny was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! After COVID flipped our original wedding plans from a large Juneau wedding to an intimate Lake Tahoe wedding, we we're afraid we'd be looking for a new photographer. Amazingly, when we talked to Penny about our change of plans her response was "wherever you need me, I'll be there" and she truly was! Penny went so above and beyond as a photographer. Even when an unexpected rain storm blew in on our outdoor dinner reception, Penny and her husband Bill hustled with the rest of the wedding party to shift our dinner indoors. Penny's calming and supportive personality really allowed for my husband and I to feel at complete ease and resulted in the most amazing photos from our big day. Throughout the entire process, Penny felt more like a family friend than a vendor. In the words of my mom "I just want to adopt her into our family!" We cannot wait to work with Penny in the coming years as we grow our family.Becoming Images's reply:

Truly A Gem!!
Words cannot articulate the experience Penny gave us. We came up for a micro wedding from PA unsure of the lay of the land.. Penny made sure to utilize our time wisely and take us to the MOST BEAUTIFUL SPOTS! She spent time consulting with us via zoom before our big day to ensure any requests or visual expectations were met! On our big day she was there promptly and kept everyone moving on our timeline. Working with Penny was amazing, she is so professional yet fun and makes you laugh and have a great time during sessions. She went above and beyond our expectations for our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. Penny was very easy to communicate with, through text, email, phone calls, and facetime. Love Penny!!
I loved working with Penny and would definitely hire her again! She was so flexible and accommodating with the changes necessary due to Covid, as well as the weather of the day. She made everyone feel super relaxed, and I absolutely love how our photos turned out, I was overjoyed when I first saw the sneak peeks! We are beyond happy that we met Penny! She is so personable, creative, talented, and fun. Her packages include so many extras (an engagement session! Credit to purchase products!), and every photo she has taken of us really captures us as people and a couple. Penny is a great person, and we really like hanging out with her. Best Wedding Photographer
I honestly don’t know where to start with Penny.. Penny is absolutely everything and more I could dream of in a photographer. I was traveling to Clolorado and stumbled across her on Instagram and fell in LOVE with her images. I immediately booked her for my engagement shoot while visiting without even meeting her! This was the best decision of my life. She is SO fun, loving, caring, so many amazing things. Sometimes photos can feel uncomfortable for your husband or even yourself if you don’t like being behind the camera but not with Penny! She makes you feel so amazing the entire time and towards the end your working that camera! My photos turned out absolutely amazing that I booked her to fly from Alaska to Minnesota to shoot my wedding day.. 1 year later she was back in MN for another wedding and you guessed it I had to book a shoot while she was here! I truly can’t say enough amazing things about her asides go book you won’t regret!Becoming Images's reply:

Oh my, where do I start?
Becoming Images did such an amazing job for my engagement and wedding! Penny is such a free and loving spirit full of life and will make your experience the best ever. I felt like I’ve known her for years within minutes of us meeting for the first time.
Our cold engagement session in Maryland was absolutely perfect. Penny made us feel so comfortable and our pictures turned out beautifully. My favorite part of the way she photographs is how our pictures looked so organic and natural. During our sessions- the way she directed us never felt or looked posed once!
When our wedding day approached, Penny reached out multiple times where we were able to talk about both of our visions and create our wedding day game plan. Our day went so smoothly and our pictures once again turned out beautifully! All our family had nothing but great things to say about Becoming Images. Our wedding was one big party and they were along for the ride capturing all of our most memorable moments! One thing I loved was that Penny’s second photographer was her husband. Being able to work with your spouse is so special and I love that they are able to do that!
The day after our wedding we had our adventure session where my husband and I were able to take pictures with our horses at the farm we board at. It was so nice having this special time where it was just us after all the excitement from the day before. These pictures to no surprise turned out beautifully- just as our engagement and wedding photos did!
Overall working with Becoming Images was easy, fun, full of laughter and memories!
What I can promise you is that you aren’t doing Becoming Images a favor by hiring them for your most special day. You are doing yourself a favor. I would not have these beautiful photographs and memories if it weren’t for Penny!Becoming Images's reply:
