Julie was a dream!
From my very first phone call with Julie I knew she was the photographer for us. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day Julie was so easy to work with. She was always prompt to answer calls or emails, she made the planning process so easy. All of our photos turned out absolutely perfect, her style and easy going personality made the day so much more special. She handled all of our big family photos easily and didn’t miss a beat, from dealing with our toddlers, to my baby throwing up on my dress! She captured so many special memories and details of the day. We are so blessed that we found her, and we can’t wait to use her for family photos in the future. I feel like Julie went above and beyond for us and she never missed a beat. Needles to say she is absolutely amazing and we loved her and her work. -

Julie did a fantastic job on our wedding videography! In the words of my mom, “Julie has the touch. She is the master.” I will say this - although our video turned out perfect in the end, I wasn’t impressed with the guy who came on the day to do the footage, and our original highlight video looked like there wasn’t much effort put into it. However, I expressed my concerns with Julie and she made me a completely new highlight video that was phenomenal! Giving her 5 stars for making us a new video, and one that was amazing, to be watched hundreds of times over again! -

Julie was amazing! Within 48 hours we had a few sneak peeks and her style is everything I wanted to capture the day. She’s so easy at giving directions and catches everyone at their best angles... truly amazed! -

Julie is an absolute blast! We had so much fun with her during our trash the dress shoot - she was so easy to work with & made us feel so comfortable & at ease! She was great to communicate with & super helpful, offering suggestions and ideas when we were in our wedding planning phase - she really went above & beyond with everything!! We absolutely love all of our photos, the shots turned out absolutely stunning!! -

My husband and I got married on the Outer Banks in June 2017. We live in Detroit, so we booked our vendors largely on reviews. From the first minute, Julie and her team made us feel so at ease. We worked with photographer Rachel - she was so helpful in the weeks leading up to our day, making sure she had a wishlist of photos, knew special details, family dynamics, etc. The day of, Rachel was just so wonderful. She made everyone feel totally at ease. Oh, and, of course, the photos are STUNNING. We got married in early June, so I expected to have to wait forever for photos. Not the case - we threw a small gathering at our home for friends who couldn't attend our small out-of-state ceremony and Julie and her team were mindful of that and worked to get us pics to have by that date. From start to finish, just so wonderful! -

I contacted Julie to capture my proposal to my (then girlfriend) now fiance on the beach in Corolla. Julie was fantastic from the first email. She was in constant communication with me, had suggestions for everything, including the best place for the shoot, time of day, etc. and had a perfect suggestion for an amazing breakfast after the proposal! I had changed a few things at the last minute from what was originally talked about with Julie and she went right with it with no issues. I surprised my fiance by having her family meet us during the shoot to celebrate with us - Julie did not know they were going to be showing up, but on the fly was able to capture her reaction as well as her family's reaction as they approached us. She took the most breathtaking photos of us, and had our finished pictures to us in a week. It feels like forever when you're that excited to see, but in reality it was super fast. The actual shoot was a blast because of Julie and her infectious personality and style! We are planning on having our wedding in the Outer Banks and will absolutely be contacting Julie and her team for photography and video for our special day -

She made sure to get good ones of everyone in our family and made my vision of my wedding portraits come to life. I really don’t like having my photograph taken but Julie made and my new husband feel relaxed. We had a fun time shooting with Julie. 11/10 would recommend.

They arrived earlier than expected, extremely easy to work with and so much fun. I paid for photography, videography as well as a trash the dress session. Julie and her team were absolutely amazing. I would definately recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the area. I received my pictures back within a week and was absolutely amazed with the detail in each and every one of them. Julie Dreelins Beach Productions captured every moment of our wedding. We are so undecided on which one is our favorite as we love them all. After seeing how wonderful the pictures turned out I can't wait to see the video!

She took our engagement pictures as well as our wedding pictures and we were blown away by the amazing photographs that she took!!! Her team also did our video and we used her for wedding planning services as well and everything went flawless. I would highly recommend Julie and her team if you are planning an Outer Banks wedding!

Melissa Sent on 06/22/2012I was sooooo happy with Julie Dreelin and Beach Productions. We had Julie shoot the whole day and she was so great to work with. So enthusiastic but not in an annoying way. She was so excited about every picture she took which made us posing so excited to be in the photos. The whole planning process was great also, she was very easy to work with! We have recieved all of our photos and they are fabulous. We can't pick out a bad one in the bunch. She helped us relive our special day again through her photos. -

Natalie Sent on 06/03/2008Julie was my favorite vendor during this whole wedding experience! Her photographs are so beautiful that everyone I showed them to were just blown away. She is so upbeat and fun to work with you don't notice the cameras around. Julie was extremely good at answering any questions I had regarding the photography but also any other vendor questions that came up. She is a professional through and through. Her prices may be a bit higher than some brides are willing to pay but I truly believe in "you get what you pay for". Beach Productions is worth the cost!
