Very professional and helpful store!

Sasha helped my husband pick out my engagement ring. He was very helpful and easy to work with. My husband did not feel pressured at all to purchase, but felt like he left with an informed decision, to which he ultimately went back to buy. We also went shopping for our wedding bands, and were treated with the upmost professionalism. I took a long time to decide which band I wanted (trying to match the engagement ring perfectly in terms of thickness and style) and our sale attendant was incredibly supportive and patient with me. I too did not feel pressured or rushed in my decision. In addition, they were incredibly accommodating by sizing my ring the same day, and also their customer service was very helpful in correcting a small issue I had with a loose stone. Overall, we have had a great experience and would be happy to purchase more from them in the future!

Our Go-To Jeweler

The staff at Nashua Barmakian is absolutely amazing! My husband purchased my engagement ring there, so we went back for wedding bands. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and my goodness were the patient with me (I think I asked to try on every wedding band they sell). Unlike the chain jeweler across the street who was pushy, Barmakian wanted us to love our bands and it showed. Every time I am in the area, I stop by for a cleaning. It is always impeccably clean, and the staff is so knowledgeable!

Enjoyable ring designing and shopping experience

We worked with Barmakian for both our engagement ring and the wedding bands. The engagement ring was custom designed and the entire process went smoothly mostly because the jewelers had great ideas and were very patient desite our lack of knowledge about diamonds and settings. We also had an easy and enjoyable time picking out our wedding bands and getting them inscribed.

Best Jeweler!

Barmakian is the absolute best jeweler out there! My husband worked with Randi to order my custom engagement ring, and boy did Barmakian deliver! Randi was so fantastic we naturally went back to order our wedding bands, and were once again impressed with our experience. Not only is their selection amazing, the prices and quality are great too. Whenever we're in town we stop by to say hello to Randi, get our rings cleaned, and always feel right at home. Barmakian's service and knowledgeable staff will keep us lifelong customers.

Love this place

My fiancé got my engagement ring at barmakian and we went back to get our wedding bands as well! They have so many options and great customer service. I stop by whenever I need my rings cleaned. We also ended up getting earrings there as well. My new jeweler for sure

Simply Perfect

My family has a long standing history with Barkmakin Jewelers, Mike knew this but still wanted to "shop around" he of course ended up ordering my custom engagement ring at Barmakin's and our custom bands followed. After 8 years he knew what he wanted and knew that it had to be a show stopping ring and that is exactly what they helped him to create. I simply LOVE my sing so much, I receive so many compliments on my engagement ring, and now my entire set. The quality, craftsmanship and customer service we have received from Barmakin is like no other, we are customers for life. It has been an honor to be a Barmakin Bride!

The staff at Barmakian jewelers is extremely professional and helpful. They are not pushy at all and have patience with the client. They did a beautiful job cleaning/polishing my rings prior to the wedding, they were stunning!!! Love this place!

Fabulous Experience!

On July 4, 2017, I was surprised with an engagement ring from my now husband after the fireworks in Boston. We had NEVER talked about marriage and he still managed to pick out the most beautiful engagement ring for me! Wendy, from the New Hampshire Branch, had a lot to do with that. He had such a pleasant experience that we returned together about a year and a half later to purchase our wedding bands. By chance, we made the trip up during their wedding band event! There was champagne, cookies, a photo opt setup, and a lot of very knowledgeable jewelers ready to answer our questions. We each purchased our bands that day, and last Saturday I was able to put it on forever! Thank you so much Barmakian Jewelers!

Thoughtful and patient service, and excellent quality jewelry

I strongly recommend Barmakian. My fiance and I purchased the engagement ring and both of our wedding bands there, as well as a watch for him. Joe at the Framingham branch has been so kind and genuinely interested in making us happy - he's a big reason why I felt the need to review. The quality of the products is extremely high and reasonably priced. Overall, I have only good things to say about this store and its lovely staff. We'll be going here for all our future jewelry needs for sure.

Helpful & Very Pleasant

My husband got my engagement ring with Barmarkian so it made sense to get our wedding bands from them. The associates were all very helpful & informative of any questions we had during the process & we both found bands we liked. I even had to go back to get mine re-sized since it appeared the band was too tight & they happily had it re-sized to the fit I wanted before the wedding so it made me appreciate their services even more. I take it to them for any of my cleanings & they are super pleasant to deal with!

great variety

My fiance's family encouraged him to purchase my engagement ring here, so we figured we'd go there for the bands as well. My ring was absolutely gorgeous so my husband and Barmakian did a great job there! When shopping for bands, I worked with a woman who was a bit difficult in not understanding the band I was looking for, so when she finally showed me what i was looking for, I was relieved and frustrated all at once. In the end I got my dream setting!

I just love barmakian. My diamond is perfect, and we love our bands. We picked them out during the sale in March so it was ciaotic but they were great.

I recently had a large sapphire (9.5 carats) set. A gal by the name of Teresa had been recommended as she had a great deal of experience in designing settings . After our first visit where we did not find what we wanted, I returned for an appointment specifically with Teresa who has a degree in fine arts and it shows. Setting a large stone can be a daunting task and much time was given to me to explore multiple ideas
Today I picked up the ring and the platinum craftsmenship is the best I’ve seen in a long time. The stone is beautifully re set with 2 sizable side diamonds giving it a much fresher look than the old setting .....wonderful service and crafsmenship!!!!

My Fiancé spent two hours picking out a band and stone for my engagement ring. A total surprise and I couldn’t be happier with my ring. I met the sales women when we returned for sizing, she was a gem. My ring was sized while we waited so I wasn’t without out it. We returned to but our wedding rings. I can’t wait to wear them.

We were very happy with our purchases at Barmakian. We went in together and got my engagement ring, then went back and got my wedding band. There was no pressure. We had been other places and by comparison found the service here to be very pleasant. I even brought in a custom design that I saw on some other ring on the internet. I liked the ring I had but I wanted the carving added in later. I wanted that design carved onto the band and a matching pattern on the sides of the engagement ring. They said no problem and it came out BEAUTIFUL. I'm very happy with my rings.

After my now husband bought my engagement ring at the Framingham store, we decided to purchase our wedding bands there during the annual wedding band sale event. The store is stunning. Service is superb. We were served champagne and tasted samples of cupcakes. We were even entered in a drawing for prizes. Joe Kirker helped us through the process from start to finish, giving us insightful advice and guidance. He's great and very knowledgeable! We were so thrilled with our wedding band purchase and were even more excited to discover weeks later that we had won a gift certificate to a restaurant we had been wanting to try! We had such a great experience picking out our wedding rings at Barmakian in Framingham. We went in to look for rings and thought we had figured out what we wanted. We went back a week later because they were having their annual sale and ended up looking around some more. My husband couldn't decide on what he wanted and the our sales associate, Julie, was so helpful in asking him questions and making suggestions and she helped us pick out the perfect band for him. My engagement ring was also sized a little big and Julie did a great job of sizing my wedding band perfectly. We went back a few times to try on our rings and then pick them up and every time we had such great interactions with all the staff. We are so happy we went with Barmakian for our wedding bands will be using them again as our preferred jeweler.

My fiance bought my engagement ring from Barmakian in Boston and the woman that assisted him with picking out the perfect diamond was amazing. She spent so much time showing him different diamonds and teaching him about he different aspects of each. We then went to the wedding band sale in Natick for our bands and the selection was amazing and the vendors and staff were so professional and helpful and spent so much time with us trying to find the perfect ones. I recommend Barmakian 100% for anyone shopping for engagement rings and wedding bands.

My fiance and I bought our wedding bands at the Natick store during a wedding band sale. My fiance's ring was 40% off! We were able to get a beautiful 8 mm platinum band for the price of a 6 mm white gold one. They were also great about customizing my band - I wanted the style of one with the filigree edge of another and they worked with me to combine the two rings and gave me 25%. It was a great deal and I was able to get the eternity version instead of just halfway around. Great event too! Enjoyed the champagne and seeing other potential vendors. Can't wait to pick them up!

*This review is for the Nashua location* Visiting Barmakian, whatever the reason, has been a true pleasure each time. Sincerely, working with this store has been one of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning so far! I bought my fiancee's engagement ring from Cheryl who was very helpful. I was never pressured into choosing anything. Instead, I was kindly guided through the nerve wracking process. Cheryl made sure I understood everything before making a choice. Even better is Barmakian's honest prices, negating the need to "haggle" for a best price. I found Barmakian's prices to be the most fair and competitive for their high quality. We have since returned to pick out my fiancee's wedding band. Jose was great to work with in that process, making it totally effortless. I have also visited a couple of times to resize and polish my ring and have found the service desk staff to be equally wonderful. We love Barmakian in Nashua and find that it is worth every extra mile to head up there from Massachusetts. I expect Barmakian to be our lifelong jeweler!

I have always enjoyed going into Barmakian in Natick. The building is as opulent as the jewels they sell but the staff are anything but snooty. First, they mostly design their own jewelry, especially the engagement rings. So their prices are manufacturer prices. We had a smallish budget and I was able to find the size and quality that I wanted. The service is always amazing there. They were extremely patient with me and supportive and helpful.
I wanted to pick my own engagement ring. My fiance, however, lived out of the country so I was on my own. I was nervous and thought this isn't normal to go looking for an engagement ring sans boyfriend. I instead went with my sisters. When I made an appointment, the salesman on the phone acted as if it was a normal occurrence. I felt at ease immediately. When we arrived, Annalee too us under her wing and not only helped me pick out the setting I wanted but also helped walk me (& eventually the fiance) through the entire diamond picking process. When my fiance finally came down to purchase the ring and choose the diamond, Annalee picked out extraordinary options for us that were well within our budget. She instructed us on what to look for in a diamond, what all the lingo meant and made sure we were aware of the flaws of each stone. She never pushed us towards any of the stones, instead let us choose the one we wanted. It ended up being the stone she loved, as well.
When you purchase your engagement ring with Barmakian, they give you 10% off to use on our wedding band and 15% off on a little something for him, a watch. We went back to get our wedding bands. I have never been so happy with a purchase as I have with my rings. Can't wait to put on the final bauble on my wedding day!

We purchased our wedding bands here during their wedding band event in the winter and I was so impressed with mine especially. Very professional and knowledgeable and I love that they don't just fit a ring to your size but make it specifically for you. I also love that everything is done on site rather than being shipped out

Barmakian Jewelers is our most favorite jeweler, their selection is stunning! When my husband & I went looking for a ring, I had no idea what I wanted, but definitely something timeless and classic. Once we sat down, explained our style, one of the owners brought back a handful of options to survey. He was extremely knowledgable and patient, not pushy whatsoever! He helped us understand that clarity over size is what is most important to maintain the brilliance. Our rings/bands are GORGEOUS & we look forward to buying many more pieces in the future! Barmakian jewelers provided my fiance with an absolutely beautiful and unique engagement ring. When I needed it re-sized they fit me in before closing on Friday night and had it cleaned and ready for pick up the next afternoon, free-of-charge.

My fiance and I picked out our wedding bands here as well. The prices were reasonable and the salesmen and saleswomen who help us were able to quickly price out the metals we wanted in the styles we liked. It was wonderful to be treated with such respect and care in such a elegant, tasteful place. I've been to both locations in the Boston area and both were wonderful.

I definitely have to say that Barmakian's is a class act in the jewelry industry. I went there for the engagement ring and wedding bands for my first marriage, and I had such a great experience and price for such quality rings that I had to go back for my new fiance's engagement ring. The quality was excellent, the price was very good, and the service was amazing. I ordered the ring online because I work from home and Barmakians is over an hour away from me. When I called to check on its status and whether or not it was going to get to me in time for my planned proposal, I talked with Allie Murphy in the Framingham store. To say that Allie was helpful is an understatement. She kept on top of the order, gave me updates along the way, and even did everything in her power to get the ring's shipment expedited. I only wish other industries would provide this kind of customer service. When my fiance noticed a possible crack in the diamond, we brought it to Allie, who gave us personalized attention, explained what my fiance saw in the diamond and how that is normal, and then gave the ring a great cleaning. She was very courteous, delightful to talk to, and I am happy that I have an opportunity to write about our experience with her. She is a valued employee at Barmakians who should be appreciated, and she is just a wonderful person. Thanks!

I never write reviews but I just feel that I cannot pass on expressing my wonderful experience at Barmakian Jewelers.

This is where my Fiancé bought my engagement ring and where I decided to buy my wedding band. I worked with Allie Murphy at the Framingham location and I have to say she was just wonderful to work with. I was very pleased with her knowledge and with the service she provided me. She was very professional and extremely helpful in finding the right ring for me and she made sure that I picked the right one.

Everything was priced well and the quality is beautiful. I have learned so much about diamonds through this experience and I feel blessed to have gone to an honest place that will tell it like it is.

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Barmakian. My fiance purchased my engagement ring at the store in Nashua as we were living up there at the time. A few months after getting engaged one of the small side stones fell out of my ring. I went to the store in Framingham and they apologized profusely and immediately replaced the stoned and fixed the setting. We went back to the Framingham store to buy our bands and Joe, one of the salesmen, helped us. He was great to work with and definitely understood what we were looking for. Their customer service has always been outstanding!

Barmakian was recommended to me by a good friend. I went to the store in Natick. I was very nervous as I purchased the engagement ring for my (soon to be) fiancé but they put me at ease. They were very professional and made getting engaged a whole lot easier. Afterwards the engagement ring needed to be resized and they were very accommodating and returned it very quickly thereafter (and even cleaned it). My fiancé and I were so impressed with Barmakian that we went back to get our wedding rings. This experience was very pleasant as well and a lot of fun for the both of us. The have a beautiful selection of rings and great service. We highly recommend Bamarkian Jewelers to anyone that wants to get "special" jewelry for the one they love.

Both my husband and I love Barmakian! They work with you to make sure you end up with exactly what you want and don't give you any hassle for it. Their selection is vast and they can customize items for you with a very fast turn around! I had to re-size my engagement ring 3 different times and it never took more than 15 minutes and, best of all, service always came with a smile and without those up-charges you would get at the chain stores. We purchased our bands here, as well, and have recommended them to our friends getting married next year!

Barmakian designed a custom wedding band to match my engagement ring and it was a great experience all around. Other jewelers that I spoke with tried to talk me out of creating a custom band, and told me I would be happier with a straight band, rather than one that followed the curves of my engagement ring. But I knew what I wanted!! Going to Barmakian was a completely different experience. Barmakian jumped at the opportunity to create a custom band, and made sure it met my expectations. Murat, the manager at the Boston store, understood exactly what I was looking for right away, and made it a reality. It was a perfect match for my engagement ring, and was exactly what I was envisioning! The entire process of creating my wedding band was super easy and stress-free. My husband also bought his wedding band from Barmakian in Framingham, they have a HUGE selection and reasonable prices - definitely the place to go when looking for wedding bands in the Boston area.

My husband (not knowing anything about diamonds, or jewelry for that matter) went to a couple of stores to look at engagement rings. He ended up at Barmakian in Nashua, NH. They worked with him, and talked to him about the different things that he should know about regarding jewelry and helped him make a selection. We went back during their wedding band even and bought both of our bands. They listened to what we wanted, and didn't try to force anything on us. When you bought an engagement ring, they give you a coupon to use towards your wedding bands. Since there was already a discount at the event, they let us use it on another day to purchase earrings for me to wear to the wedding. We have already been back several times for polishings, resizing, etc. The customer service that we had with them was great.

We went to the store in New Hampshire, but I've also gone to the Boston store to have my ring "checked" on. Amazing value! My husband custom built my ring and it's a stunner! ;-) They have a wedding band sale in the spring and it's totally worth it to take a look.

What is always a very stressful purchase was made much easier by Erik at Barmakians in Boston. We found amazing quality diamonds at reasonable prices. My husband purchased my engagement ring at Barmakian and he was extremely pleased with the selection, knowledgeable staff, and friendly service. We got my engagement ring and also wedding bands for both of us from Barmakian. We had such a great experience shopping for engagement rings here, compared to some other jewelers that were so pushy and not great value. At Barmakian, the salesperson was so knowledgeable about his trade, especially diamond quality, which we really appreciated - he was far more professional than the other stores we went to.
Since we had such a good experience with the engagement ring, we went back for the wedding bands. Although I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, the salesperson this time saw my engagement ring, and brought me over to a selection of wedding bands, and picked out the one I wanted immediately - she could tell my tastes that well!

Since I didn't have an engagement ring, I was looking for a unique style wedding ring. I searched everywhere to no avail. During my search, I fell in love with a ring at a different jewelery store that was way out of my budget. So my search continued. I decided to drive to Nashua to Barmakian Jewelers where I found my ring. Jose Freitas helped me find my ring. After I explained what I was looking for, he immediately showed me the my ring. We were so happy with Barmakian! My husband got my engagement ring there and said the staff was so helpful. Even though he was very budget conscious, Barmakian helped him find the most beaultiful, sparkly, perfect ring for me. We were so happy with the level of service that we went back for my wedding band. We happened to go during their annual wedding band sale so was able to get a wonderful deal on the exact ring I had wanted. Even though my husband's ring was a family ring and we had not bought it there, they were willing to re-size and clean all of the rings for free.

Love them! My fiancee (now husband) got my engagement ring here and I LOVE my ring. It is a simple solitaire, but the quality of the diamond is fantastic, and it appraised for much more than the purchase price. Also, I did have to have it resized and it was very easy to do. Their location in downtown Boston does their work in-house so I was able to pick up the ring after resizing after an hour or two. Then for my wedding band, I looked online a bunch looking for a simple and small 7 stone ring (basically almost a half-eternity band), and then when I went to Barmakian I found the perfect ring right away - the quality and price were both better than what I found online! I was happy to get my wedding band from them as well. I highly recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I went to Barmakian to get some ideas before he proposed. We had a great time with our sales person. She was very helpful when he told her what the budget was and she helped to pick beautiful bands and diamonds for us to look at. My husabnd ended up purchasing my diamond and then later we got our wedding bands from them. We had another sales person who was also wonderful. My husband picked out the absolute PERFECT engagement ring for me! Of course I had a picture to go off of, but someone at Barmakian helped him create a nearly perfect replica with a special setting. I also found my wedding band there which fits perfectly with my engagement ring. My only complaint is that I have lost one diamond in my wedding band (an eternity band) and they were good and replaced it for no cost.

We originally went to Natick and had a horrible experience there with Lois. We ran out of there so fast and went to Boston. What a complete difference, we were met with a wonderful, attentive staff who didn't make us feel like we were wasting their time and appreciated us being there. Fihad was wonderful, even telling me some bands took away from my engagement ring. We'll be returning to the Boston store.

Barmakian were AMAZING. They have an amazing selection. They worked with us to pick out the perfect setting and i LOVE my ring. Plus I wanted to wear my Mom's pearls at the wedding and I brought them with me as they needed restringing, they did it for free (ha - we spent enough on the ring :)) but still, GREAT service. The ring came in maybe 7 days after we ordered it. And if you go to the Nashua store you don't pay tax!

We went to the store in Boston and we have received great service each time we go. We used Barmakian for the engagement, for our wedding rings, as well as some gifts for the bridal party. We think their prices are fair and the service is great.

My husband has bought a lot of beautiful jewelry for me from Barmakian's. They have an amazing selection and it was a natural place for us to get our wedding rings. We are very happy with my gorgeous engagement ring and both of our wedding bands. They were extremely helpful in making our selections to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted. I have a small hand so I didn't want anything that was too big and I ended up with gorgeous rings with lots of diamonds that fit my hand perfectly. I would highly recommend them for any jewelry purchase.

Got simple bands with Hebrew engraving and they came out beautifully. Some uncertainty with the engraving because it was not English and they could not guarantee a price, but in the end it was reasonable and turned out well.

My husband had my engagement ring custom made for me and it is gorgeous, everything I ever wanted. There is so much detail on it, the craftsmanship is excellent. We went back to Barmakians for our wedding bands. My wedding ring was made to match my engagement. It took two weeks for it to be made, its an almost exact replica, with the same level of detail and craftsmanship. My husbands ring was very simple, but it was exactly as we ordered it, down to the engraving.

I want to especially mention John Hilane (sp?) at the Boston store. If you plan on going to Barmakians, ask for John. He went so far above and beyond with us. He even helped me clean and fix a bridesmaid gift that was damaged in shipping, then boxed it and wrapped it for me. He also assisted with my husbands wedding gift from me- a set of cuff links and shirt studs. He stayed late to help me, answered many many questions, and best of all, helped us get the best deals. I will definitely be going back to Barmakians in the future, preferably to work with John.

We went through the location in Boston for both our wedding bands as well as my engagement ring (though i had no part in that). My husband chose this jeweler specifically based on a recommendation from a friend of ours and we were not disappointed. The Boston location is located in Downtown Crossing and the people there were extremely helpful, not pushy, and treated our rings with care. The did resizing while we waited. Cleaned my ring whenever I walked in for free. Also redipped my ring and cleaned it before the wedding and it looked brand spanking new. The employees at Barmakian are fantastic and I love my rings. I would highly recommend them and my husband would too.

Barmakian was great!!! I had a very unique engagement ring that I had purchased from a different jeweler and went to Barmakian to find a band to match it. They had such a huge selection that I was able to find something that fit EXACTLY and the price was totally reasonable. My husband also bought his band there and found something he really liked. They also provided good service after the fact when I needed my jewelry cleaned, inspected, etc.

The staff and service at Barmakian was wonderful. They were very helpful while we chose our wedding bands. I also came in the week before my wedding to have an emergency pearl necklace restrung as my Grandmother's pearls needed to be restrung for me to wear on my wedding day. Barmakian is a wonderful place. They have a huge selection of wedding rings, and their products are very good quality. After the wedding, my husband wanted to have his ring made smaller, and I had a little diamond that was sticking out slighly and they fixed them both free of charge.

We bought a new setting for an old vintage sapphire for my engagement ring at Barmakian Jewelers. They were very nice and worked with us to find the perfect setting. When it came back from resizing, one of the pave stones was missing, and they fixed it for free right away. Later, I had a finger-swelling problem and had to get the ring cut off at the fire station, and they fixed it up again for free, no problem. Even though we didn't spend a lot of money with them, we got great service and have continued to get great service whenever anything has come up.

I would recommend Barmakians to EVERYONE. They resized and polished my engagement ring for free even though I didn't get it there. My wedding band is incredibly beautiful and the people that work there are nothing but helpful and nice. Prices are great....Just try to go there during the week or else you'll be waiting for a while.

The only way to describe Barmakian is "class"! I was respected and given the attention I deserved while chosing a wedding ring. I visited the Boston location and my husband bought his wedding band at the Framingham location. Both were absolutely outstanding with their customers and I would highly recommend them. The advice and guidence they gave us was wonderful and made it easy to create a ring that suited our personalities.

This is the store for the girl who loves jewlery.

The selection on the floor is fabulous, and the have more in back. If you get your engagement ring there, you get a voucher for 10% off your wedding bands. They also have a huge wedding band/engagement ring sale in the summer. Great people. They know their customers. They also host events during the year. They will work with you to do custom rings as well. The people know their stuff and don't hassle you at all.

For diamonds, you can hand select the diamond you want. They will work in any budget you specify. Generally the diamonds are appraised at twice what you paid - they have great deals for high quality.

We also bought our attendants' gifts here; they ordered 7 matching necklaces and 7 matching cuff links for us and then wrapped them.

My husband chose to purchase my engagement ring from Barmakian in Framingham and I'm glad he did. The ring is beautiful and he kept commenting on the great service he received when he was picking it out. We decided to go back there to pick out our wedding bands and again had a great experience. The person who was helping us encouraged us to take our time despite the crowd that was in the store that day. Barmakians is fantastic - they have the largest selection of engagement and wedding bands I have seen, and their prices are great. We visited many, many stores in order to get the best price on platinum, and Barmakians was it. Their rings are very high-quality as well, and will surely last a lifetime. I would wait until the March wedding band weekend sale - you can save up to 10%. I also went back to them 9+ times to have my rings resized, jewelers beads inserted, etc, and they were always so accommodating and helpful. Plus cleanings/polishings are free for life. Perfect to keep my ring looking like new!
