Best wedding officiant!

Larry, did an amazing job officiating our wedding ceremony at the Larkfield on 9/2/24.
We couldn't have asked for a better officiant!
He had us and everyone at the ceremony laughing. He showed up early and made sure everything was perfect. He even added a special touch about our dog during the ceremony that we were not expecting. He guided us along the way so we felt comfortable the whole ceremony, even when we messed up he made it funny. He went above and beyond for our ceremony and we are so appreciative!

Great reception

We are happy Larry was apart of our wedding day. Larry was able to guide our ceremony perfectly and tailor it to our liking. We had several people comment about loving our ceremony , especially the wine box ceremony !

Quick responses, super flexible and easy going

Larry was so easy to work with. He was super accommodating, kind and would respond to our inquiries very promptly. He helped us with the ceremony script to mold it into what we were looking for. Outstanding Officiant-Definitely Recommend

From the beginning of contact with Larry, we both knew that he was the right fit for us. He had been nothing but kind, flexible, and had just the right amount of humor to help us feel comfortable in our ceremony decisions. He worked with us to give ideas on how we wanted our ceremony to go, and we couldn't be more happy about how smoothly everything went. Everyone involved and watching the ceremony also felt comfortable for what could be an anxious day, but standing up there with Larry and playing along with his humor made it so much easier to not feel nervous. If anyone else I know is also getting married one day and is looking for an officiant, I will be sure to quickly direct them to Larry!

Excellent Wedding Officiant!

Larry served as the officiant of our wedding and did an excellent job! He met with us several times first on zoom to make sure that we understood how the ceremony worked and helped tailor things to fit our needs. He offered great insights on how to make sure that things would run smoothly and even was sensitive enough to ask how funny he could be so that we could lighten up what is a bit of an anxious day. I was happy crying throughout the entire event and he did a great job of helping me pull myself together a bit for photos. I highly recommend him if you need an officiant!

Amazing!!!

My husband and I loved him from the moment he introduced himself. There were no questions on whether he was the right choice for us. And we were right, guest and our mothers are still raving about his delivery and personality! I can totally see why his wife married him! He is so down to earth, serious, yet funny! Highly Recommend Larry!

Larry was great! He was the perfect officiant for our wedding - calm, charming and witty - exactly what we were going for. We had meetings with 2 other officiants but ultimately choose Larry and are so glad we did. We got several compliments on the ceremony - which was so humorous and sweet - so many happy tears, everywhere. Would highly recommend him!

Rev. Larry Adler is Exceptional

Rev. Adler came highly recommended through our wedding venue (360 East). From our preliminary interview with Rev. Larry my husband and I knew he would be a great fit for our ceremony in Montauk on 09/25/2021. He made himself available to answer any questions and was clear in his communication and directions for our wedding day. Rev Larry used his expertise to provide us with options for the ceremony and was receptive to any feedback we gave. We wanted our wedding ceremony to feel traditional but have a relaxed element and keep our guests engaged, Rev. Larry was able to execute and plan us the perfect ceremony. I cannot recommend Rev. Larry and the Bands of Gold group enough.

My husband and I were beyond happy with our ceremony orchestrated by Larry Adler. He was passionate, and funny. We got married the day of a hurricane, and Larry really helped with the good vibe. He was very professional and responsive during our ceremony process. I highly recommend Larry Adler.

Awesome ceremony with the level of detail you want!

Larry was terrific and made our ceremony incredibly special by adding his humor to it and working with us to do a beer ceremony which fit our personalities so well. We recommend him highly and are so happy we choose him.

From the moment we met him during our pre ceremony interview, we knew right away he was the officiant we wanted. His many years of experience made him an easy choice for US. Our backyard wedding had a delay and Larry had no problem waiting for our guest to arrive. He was awesome!

Kind, patient, and made our wedding special!

We reviewed so many officiants, and many just made us feel like “just another couple.” Larry made us feel special and like he really believed in us and our marriage. He helped us to remember the huge step that we were taking in our lives and how special this was. He was funny without being crude. He was so patient and really listened to what we wanted while guiding us as he created a ceremony that we will remember forever! I would 100% recommended him to all those future brides looking for an officiant that will remind them of the special journey they are about to embark on! It is very easy to get caught up in the details of a wedding but Larry will be there to help focus you and make you prioritize what is important!

Even better than we could have imagined!

Larry blew us out of the water with everything he did! Absolutely wonderful! Not only was he flexible with the multiple changes we had (including venues and start times) but he walked us through step by step how it was going to go, and if it seemed to be going wrong, he made us and the crowd laugh. He also offers a special ceremony touch (similar to the blending of the wine) that no one else offers. We had many compliments on Larry and everyone was wondering where we found such a great fit for our wedding. I recommend Larry to anyone looking to tie the knot!

Perfect Wedding Ceremony

Larry performed our wedding ceremony in late September and he was so great to work with. We saw him perform one of our great friends' ceremony last year and knew we had to meet with him. An incredible addition to your wedding day!

Brides and Grooms, look no further! When I was in search of an officiant for our wedding, it was a task that started out at the bottom of my list. I’ve seen so many couples get married at their lifelong church of parish, and as a result they have had a special relationship with the person marrying them. Since my husband and I were planning a non-religious ceremony, choosing a stranger to share the moment we made the most important commitment of our lives felt daunting. I didn’t think it would be possible to feel a connection with whoever was guiding our ceremony (especially because we were very last minute wedding planners, so time was not on our side.)

I found Larry’s name in a group for local brides, and beneath that recommendation were many other brides chiming in agreeing that he was a wonderful addition to their day. We reached out and had a meeting with Larry, and we left without booking him because he was the first person we had met and I was trying to use my mind over my heart to make wedding decisions. We barely got out of the parking lot before I e mailed him back confirming that we definitely wanted him there for our big day!

Larry is so professional, personable and funny. He fit perfectly with our sense of humor and he didn’t over complicate anything. He has been doing this for a long time and it is reflected in his prepared materials, good advice, and calm nature. His performance at our ceremony was perfect. He guided us and had just the right tone to make our ceremony sentimental but lighthearted. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant! Thank you again, Larry for everything you did to make our day unique and memorable.

The perfect ceremony!

Larry officiated our wedding for us on 6/8/19. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in good hands. We instantly felt that he was perfect for us, and it was by far the best we had felt about any vendor. Throughout the stressful process of planning a wedding, I knew I didn't have to worry about our ceremony, and that it would be beautiful. And it was! I told Larry I wanted our ceremony to be "lovely," and that was exactly what he delivered. Larry has a great personality, and knows the perfect balance between serious/and light-hearted, making the ceremony feel personal and again, beautiful. Our guests came up to us all night and called the days following the wedding raving about how special, intimate, and "lovely" our ceremony was. I cannot recommend Larry enough!!

Comic Relief

Our ceremony was a perfect representation of us. Simple, straightforward, meaningful and humorous. Larry is laid back and experienced. He talked us through the process easily. My husband and I got married in September, and Larry was fantastic! Through wedding preparation, he was very helpful and easy to work with, and quick to respond to questions. My husband and I had attended a wedding two years ago with Larry as the officiant. We enjoyed the ceremony so much so that we agreed to have him officiate our wedding as well. Words cannot express the amazing job Rev. Adler did for our wedding on 7/29/18. Because of him I got my dream ceremony. I loved my entire wedding but our ceremony was amazing & beautiful. Even now our guest are talking about our ceremony and how much they enjoyed Larry.

My husband and I chose Larry to officiate our wedding and we are oh so glad that we did!! He was wonderful throughout the whole planning process. He was very easy to get in touch with and was very accommodating to our busy schedules when setting up our initial meeting. He provided many choices for unique add-ons to our ceremony to make it unique. He sent over our first draft of our ceremony in a timely manner and was very open to any requests that we had. The day of the wedding, he was wonderful. Our ceremony was fantastic!! Guests are still raving about it. Larry has a great presence and speaking voice. He made us feel very comfortable during a day filled with emotions. He sent in our marriage license so quick and we were able to proceed with the name change process immediately following our honeymoon. Book with Larry!! He was great and will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

Larry is fantastic! My husband and I had a spur of the moment wedding, so we ended up giving Larry a little less than 1 month’s notice. Not only did Larry meet with us immediately, so as to be able to tailor and personalize the ceremony to us, but he also got everything ready in time and performed a beautiful ceremony. Larry was extremely professional and kept the ceremony light, engaging and fun. My guests, particularly my mom and sister, thought Larry was a perfect fit for us. I highly recommend Larry!

We highly recommend Larry/Bands of Gold as your wedding officiant. He couldn't have been nicer when meeting with my fiance and doing a video chat (out of state) with me to get to know us a bit. When the day came, Larry was early to arrive and helped smooth out last minute details with the reception hall. He made our family and friends comfortable and guided us through a wonderful ceremony.

Larry was absolutely incredible. We received so many compliments about our ceremony. He really put such a fun, loving touch and even included how we met as a football and cheerleader and how life is about being there to root one another on. We LOVE Larry!! I highly recommend Larry as a wedding officiant. He is kind, warm and put us at ease. He took the time to learn about us and tailored our ceremony to exactly how we wanted it. He had many options for us to make our ceremony personal. During our ceremony people laughed and cried. It was absolutely perfect bc he made it about us. He was willing to travel to our venue. People even asked us after if we were related to him... That's how personable he is. As a bride, he gave me advice and made things extremely simple for me. Larry anticipated our needs and reminded us as it closer to our date of the important things we needed to bring. Most importantly, he made the ceremony memorable and beautiful and I can't thank him enough for creating such a great experience for us!

Larry Adler was great. He encouraged us to put some of the “us” into our ceremony. And his idea to include a sand ceremony that our child and my husband’s daughter could participate helped make the day special for everyone and we keep a beautiful memory of our blended family on our mantel. The day of our wedding Larry made sure I took a few breathes and was a ken be focused and enjoy the day even when the family was making me crazy!!!! Thank you Larry. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect because it was “us,” jokes, tears and all.

Larry was excellent from beginning to end.
We cannot say enough good things about him. From the start he was very easy to communicate and quick to respond. He met with us and discussed the type of ceremony we wanted to have. In our case, we wanted a christian ceremony with bible scriptures & and incorporate the sand ceremony. Larry was quick to send us a personalized drafted ceremony and gave us great input based on his experience. He welcomed our edits, suggestions and comments. On the day of the wedding he was almost an hour early. The ceremony was perfect from beginning to end. One week after my wedding and we are still receiving great feedback from our guests complementing Larry and how well he officiated the ceremony. We highly recommend Larry as he exceeded our expectations.

Larry was so easy going and accommodating when it came to arranging our vow renewal ceremony. He agreed to perform the same vows we took when we eloped but with his own personal style. My family asked me afterwards how I found him They were really impressed with Larry and thought he was funny. One person even asked me if he was available to perform and tell jokes at her local synagogue.

We are extremely happy with our decision to use Larry! From the moment we met with him, he was very patient and went over every detail with us. He made the process extremely easy and stress free. Larry was amazing! From the first day we met him to the day of the wedding. Planning how the ceremony would go was simple, and he had special touches that we could add to our ceremony to make it more personal. We chose to go with the rose ceremony. He also was able to add our special filipino tradition we wanted into the ceremony, he even researched it. He was there for our rehearsal dinner to guide us. Our ceremony was beautiful and filled with laughs. We would highly recommend Larry to any couple!

Larry is wonderful! The day we met him, we knew right away that he was the perfect choice for our wedding! Larry is very organized and has many sample ceremonies to choose from. He had some great ideas to include a special touch during our wedding ceremony. Our special touch was a Love Letter and Wine Box Ceremony. We chose Larry to perform our ceremony as soon as we had our first meeting with him. His easygoing manner was perfect for us and we felt comfortable with him from the start. He had all kinds of suggestions for making the ceremony special. We chose one of his sample ceremonies and he did not at all have a problem with us making changes and adding readings of our own. On the day of (a morning, at home ceremony) Larry arrived early, making sure we were ready and allaying any nerves. As the ceremony was in our house, guests were milling about and our family and friends enjoyed chatting with him as we waited for additional guests to arrive. (Larry had warned us that an in house wedding never starts on time!)

The ceremony was exceptional -- throughout Larry took his time, making sure we were able to get through it despite our nerves. It was a perfect mix of solemn, romantic and lighthearted. You will not be disappointed if you choose him -- he will provide a perfect start to your perfect day!

We found him through the knot.com and are very glad to have him as our officiant.
We are very impressed by his professionalism. He is very responsive to our questions and we usually get an answer within several hours. He is definitely very experienced and well prepared for every occasion, from speeches to customized ceremonies. He knows exactly how to handle the crowd and knows how much time is needed. Everything is within schedule and meets our expectation.

Larry also makes himself very flexible to our need in terms of the ceremony. We were able to make multiple changes to the speech and he always tries his best to accommodate our needs, including the part that we requested him to perform a small portion of the speech in Chinese.

At the end of the day, another happy couple was married on 10/23/16 and we are very satisfied with the service provided by Larry.

Larry was fantastic. Very easy to work with, rapid response times and overall just a kind and nice man. Not being religious we were very anxious about finding the right person to marry us, after a few minutes with Larry all those fears were gone.
He worked closely with us to develop the ceremony we wanted and that was beautiful, and while he had opinions, he did not push what he wanted on us and worked with our decisions. Larry was insistent that we at least attempt to write our own vows, though he would provide if we absolutely could not, it was only due to his advice and persistence that we even tried and I am so happy that we did! We both are terribly anxious and the idea of writing and then reading for all our guests was near paralyzing, truthfully it felt just as he said it would and I am so grateful for his encouragement.
Larry even worked our dog into the ceremony! Which shows how much he paid attention to our words.

Planning a wedding can be stressful espically finding an officiant. Larry from bands of gold helped ease any stress we may have had. Larry was able to create a ceremony that we wanted and loved. Larry did an exceptional job with our wedding. He was funny but professional at the same time. He was early and even helped set up the room for us which was something he did not have to do. He was very helpful with ceremonial ideas and suggested things we would have never thought of on our own. We took him up on two of his ideas and we were glad we did. Ask him about the sand idea if you have kids and are integrating your family. He even spoke some words in Portuguese so my wife's family could understand some of the most important parts of the ceremony. All in all, he exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend him.

We were really happy with Reverend Larry. Very responsive and on the ball. We weren't as focused as we should have been on the ceremony details and he kept us on task with follow up e-mails. He had lots of ceremony examples ready for us to pick and choose from to put together exactly what we wanted. Within days of our first meeting he emailed us a draft of our complete ceremony for feedback.

Very relaxed and funny ceremony. A plane flew overhead as he started the ceremony and he handled it very well. Would recommend him highly to my friends.

We were absolutely thrilled to have Larry officiate our wedding. Leading up to the wedding he was very responsive to any questions and needs we may have had and constructed a ceremony that was exactly to our liking. I don't even know where to start! Let me begin by saying that from first contact Larry is extremely responsive and professional. I called him and he picked up the first time. He sent me an email with some information within half an hour. From that point on to my wedding day, if I called or emailed him, I got a response always within a half hour! This is so important to me! 2 days later we met with Larry at a Starbucks, my husband, myself and our 3 year old son. He didn't look at his watch at all, he wasn't rushing us at all- the time he set aside for us was truly for us. He had a whole binder of things ready to show us and ideas to present us with, because we had no clue where to start or how any of this goes. We were able to simply pick and choose what we wanted. He told us a few stories about himself after I asked him a few personal questions, and he's an interesting guy if you've got time to hear about it! Later that day he emailed me a complete "script" basically of the whole ceremony and we could tweak whatever we wanted.
On to the actual day- Larry was there early of course, long before myself. He came up to my dressing room to speak with me quickly and make sure I was ready and prepared. Honestly I was so nervous that I can't even remember what we said! But I loved that he came. He asked us if we wanted a casual or formal ceremony- we opted for casual. Larry was so funny and it made us less nervous. Our mothers loved the roses offered to them (1 of his ideas), and guests told us they loved the Celtic Knot Tying ritual that Larry did (another of his ideas) and that they had never heard about it or that that's where "tying the knot" originated, and we are both half Irish! Several people came up to us and told us our reverend was "amazing"! I totally agree- at the end of the night, I found a copy of the signed wedding license in my bag- he thought of everything. I am so grateful for Larry, for making my day so stress free. Thank you Larry!

Larry did a first rate job at our wedding. He gave us an option of serious or fun/laid back, we picked the latter of the two and he delivered a home run. Many guests commented during the reception of what a wonderful job he did. He also suggested a "filler" for the ceremony which was a wine box/love letter. That was done beautifully and many guests said they loved the idea and some even said they were going to do that on their next anniversary. If you want to know more about it, ask Larry, he will fill you in. We were a little nervous picking someone online, but all in all he put our hesitations to rest and did a great job. Would highly recommend. Thanks Larry.

Larry saved the day after my other officiant decided not to work with us! He was perfect. I wrote my own ceremony and vows and he worked with us to make it wonderful. He was funny at all the right moments without being overly funny(he asked us before hand how to be which I thought was very kind of him). I started tearing up and he was able to make me laugh so I could finish! Larry also has his own microphone so everyone could hear!! I must have had 15 guests say it was the best ceremony!!

Mr. Adler is a very professional, easy going, and knowledgeable officiant. After listening to some suggestions we had for our ceremony; he walked us through many different options. He guided us in choosing a ceremony that would be memorable for all our friends and family. He will make an effort to work with you, ask questions, and make your ceremony the best it can be. It was clear he could tailor our ceremony to whatever style we were looking for. In our case, we wanted a relaxed and fun atmosphere which Mr. Adler, with his great sense of humor, delivered. I would highly recommend Larry Adler. My guests were ranting and raving about him after my ceremony. It was exactly what I had hopes for. It was romantic, funny and memorable!

Larry knew exactly what we wanted and delivered a sincere, touching service filled with lots of laughs. He suggested the sand ceremony which added such a great touch to include our children. He was extremely easy to keep in contact with and answered any and all of our questions immediately. He is extremely flexible and will work with you to make your ceremony everything you wish for and more. Larry is one of a kind! We could not be any happier with his services! Thank you Rev. Couldn't have asked for a better officiant. Larry kept in touch throughout the whole planning process and really worked hard to personalize our ceremony to our liking! Everyone was talking about how beautiful the ceremony was and how well Larry did. He adds a little humor to add laughter when needed- it was far from a dry, boring ceremony. He also arrived an hour early, so there is no need to worry if your officiant is going to show up- 1 less thing to stress about on your big day. Larry is a sweet, patient, and down-to-earth individual and you will not regret choosing him. We were debating whether to use him or the pastor from our church, but we were sold on him upon our meeting. Larry was wonderful! My husband and I live across the country but got married in NY and Larry really was perfect at getting in contact with us through skype, and emails. We are not a religious couple but our families are and wanted a more traditional ceremony. Larry worked with us and created a ceremony that really pleased everyone and made it perfect. I loved his humor throughout the ceremony so it was light and not full of tears :) He really knew what he was doing and checked in with everyone before the ceremony so everyone knew exactly what to do. He was just what we wanted!

Larry was such a great find ! He kept us on track prior to the wedding ,gave us guidance on ceremony options, and was open to any changes and feedback we had. We felt we had known him forever! On the day if our wedding Larry was calm and professional but also joked around to break the tension. Thank you Larry!!

Larry was great!! After our first meeting, my husband and I felt such ease to have Larry as our officiant. We were so happy that I recommended him to my cousin who is getting married next month. She met with Larry and felt the same way, so she booked him as well. On my wedding day, Larry helped making my day stress free (especially with a last minute weather change). I highly recommend Larry as he has a great sense of humor and he is very professional.

My husband, Danny and I, were beyond satisfied with Larry's professionalism and attention to details on our wedding day. He took the time to get to know us and learn what was most important to us for our big day. Larry was great! I was planning a NY wedding from Nevada, and he was able to Skype with my husband and me multiple times. He also adjusted our ceremony to fit us perfectly! On the day of the wedding, I realized that I never told him about the time change of the ceremony, so I called him and he adjusted his schedule without a hitch. Larry performed a beautiful ceremony with just the right amount of humor! I've had many guests tell me that it was one of the only ceremonies that captured their attention the entire time.

I called Larry Adler amongst many other officiants and made tentative plans with him to meet....Being caught up with all the rest of our plans i didn't realize that he said he would meet me on such a date at such a time. I got a call from Larry stating that he was at the place and ready to meet...My now wife just got home and I said "Do you want to go meet a prospective officiant?"....she didn't; but I felt bad that i forgot about our plan and we rushed to go meet him. Good thing we did! Simply stated: We just felt comfortable with him right away. He was well prepared and it was an easy decision....Little did we know the easiest decision we made with our plans would turn out to be the most talked about....EVERYONE has commented on how "beautiful" our ceremony was and how Larry Adler just seemed to be the "perfect fit" for us. He used just the right amount of humor to make us feel at ease and didn't come off as a stand up comic. People also said that he seemed to know us really well and that he just flowed with how we responded to our very emotional meeting at the "alter." Larry Adler made our day so special in such a short period of time and set the tone for the best day of our lives....Thank you Larry!

I highly recommend Larry Adler. He keyed into our relationship and delivered a ceremony that reflected us as a couple. Larry Adler performed an excellent ceremony for our wedding. He took the time to meet with us to figure out what we really wanted. We worked on our ceremony primarily through email, which was convenient and quick. I received many compliments on our ceremony from friends and family. I would recommend Larry.

For all of you bride and grooms that are looking for a Minister who will make you feel relaxed on your big day, makes everything go smoothly from the time you meet with him, Rev. Larry is your Minister. From the moment we met with him, we knew he would be perfect to our ceremony. He made the ceremony so relaxing, never pressured us and let us do our own thing. We planned our ceremony from step one to the end and he did not once judge us nor tell us it wasn't a good idea. He has a great sense of humour and it comes out in the ceremony as well - which helped my Husband and I immensely. He made our guests feel comfortable all through out the ceremony and included them in every aspect of the day. We met with him early on in our engagement and we had many months before our wedding day and not once did he tell us we were not able to change what we wanted to do. I think we changed our minds about ten times on what we wanted to say, and each and every time, Rev. Larry had a quick reply of "fine by me - whatever you want!" He was so accommodating, put special touches on everything he said and truly made it our own special ceremony. All of our guests had great things to say about Rev Larry. They thought it was so unique how he made them apart of our ceremony and made them feel comfortable considering we had language barriers. My husbands side of the family does not speak english and my side of the family only speaks english so we wanted both sides to understand what was going on and what we were saying. Rev Larry applied Spanish to every important moment that he could and it made my husbands family feel very welcome and made them feel as if they were apart of the ceremony, even if there were parts where english was the only language spoken. We couldn't have been happier!

I highly recommend Rev. Larry Adler as an officiant for other happy brides! Rev. Larry was always prompt with replies and meetings when needed and very helpful on ideas to help make my husband and my day very special and memorable for us! Since my husband is a Marine he wasn't able to attend any of the meetings but Rev. Larry was very accommodating and even offered to meet my husband via skype. Also, my wedding theme was Alice in Wonderland and Rev. Larry helped intertwine our ceremony with a few Alice phrases that delighted me very much!
