User2247410 Sent on 07/29/2015Tom is one of the kindest people I have met during this wedding planning process. He was very attentive and very supportive with the entire process! We had many conversations prior to the wedding on my expectations, things that were important to me, and what I hoped to get from the videos he would create for my husband and I. On the actual wedding day, it felt more like we had a friend there with us capturing moments then just a team with cameras. Thank you so much to Tom and his team for being one of our vendors on the most magical day of our lives! -

User2096870 Sent on 04/14/2015Tom was GREAT about responding throughout the booking experience and leading up to the wedding. He made me feel great the day of and we were THRILLED with the videos themselves. My biggest area of critque is AFTER the wedding. We were promised our films within 10 weeks of the wedding date, October 5 2014. We did not receive everything in full until April 2015. We received our trailer on Feb 24, full films March 5, and our DVDs in early April.
I emailed back and forth with Tom after the wedding however I was the one who had to initiate contact with him regarding the timeframe of when we would be receiving everything. Each time I waited several weeks for a response and was promised a deadline, set by Tom, for when we would be able to see them. This happened on 4 seperate occasions and we still had not received our films. I had already paid in full and felt very taken advantage of. These videos are something a bride should feel excited about! Instead I was just feeling stressed. Tom was very apologetic which I appreciated but it makes me hesitate to refer him to a friend based on the poor "after experience" we received.
I cannot stress enough how much I adore our films and we are very grateful for all the time spent on our videos. I only write this in hopes that it was a random occurence and nobody will have to experience this again in the future. -

User2149767 Sent on 05/27/2015I will say that Tom is very good at what he does and our video turned out very nice. However, I have NEVER worked with someone so unprofessional. We left him about 15 voicemails with NONE of them returned. Sent multiple emails. Turns out he had moved to Florida from Illinois which is where our wedding was. It took him about 3 months to return any phone calls or emails. I understand everyone goes through issues in their personal lives but it is still important to communicate with people who gave you A LOT of money.

User2086716 Sent on 04/03/2015Absolutely HORRIBLE service!! Do not use Tom from Autumn Tree Films. Almost a year later and we still have NOT received our wedding film. You can try to contact him email after email and will not hear from him. Dont even try calling him, you won't get an answer from that either. You spend so much money on his services and get horrible service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

User2497751 Sent on 01/07/2016I was debating booking a videographer when I found Autumn Tree Films and fell in love with their videos. I contacted him and set up a meeting. We walked out of that meeting feeling like we made the best decision in the world and feeling like we had clicked with Tom on a personal level. We even booked his suggested photographer (Mandy Blair Photography).
Everything was going well until after the wedding. Tom was mostly available leading up to our wedding; there were a few times I emailed him and didn't hear back for a couple weeks, but it was no big deal. On the wedding day, things also went great. Tom was very easy to work with and guided us through things. It was very painless and easy and we had a lot of fun.
The real problems started after the wedding. Stated in our contract, our films were "to appear online up to 12 weeks from the date of the wedding" which fell on October 2. I sent an email about halfway through September to thank Tom for filming our wedding and check in on the status of the films. No response. I emailed again on the day of the deadline when we hadn't received our videos. No response. I emailed again and again and again on a weekly basis. NO RESPONSE. Finally, we spoke with a lawyer about our legal options, and in December we emailed again to notify him that we were pursing legal action in small claims court and expected to hear back from him within the week. A week later he sent us our Wedding Trailer, and promised we would have the full video by that weekend. We did not receive our full video until the end of the month, a full 6 months after our wedding and 3 months past the deadline.
So in summary, yes, his style is absolutely amazing. Yes, we are completely in love with our videos. But is it worth paying all that money and going through all that stress during what is supposed to be a very happy time in your life? I guess that's for you to decide.
