DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY~ I hired this company to dj my wedding. They hired a different dj to play at my wedding which was not on the contract for the company to do this. All the infomation (the playlist) I gave them never got to the Dj that came to the wedding. The DJ they hired was terrible! Currently, I am suing this company because nobody will call me back!
Brides- If you want a great wedding, do not get involed with this company!

It is very unfortunate that I can not recommend Kristi as a photographer as it is now 7 weeks from our wedding day and we still have not received our photos, after trying to get in touch with Kristi we were told it would take her 3-4 weeks to process our digital photos. Kristi showed up to the wedding not dressed appropriately. Kristi really is too new at this and seemed uncomfortable and appeared not to know what she was doing at times. There was several times both us and our wedding party had to tell her what poses to do. She left a lot of good shots out (never took a photo of our rings)- Kristi is well aware of a photo that was taken specific for our Thank you notes for our guest and we still have not been able to send these out. We have sent an email to our guests in hopes to get copies of photos they may have taken so we can have something of our special day - This is why I paid for a photographer to do this, so I would not need to.
I am sorry to say we can not give a quality or value of this vendor since we have not seen our photos and she is currently MIA. This is very sad since her husband was our DJ and did a fantastic job and I would love to work with Aaron again for several events I have coming up but that would mean I would need to book with Kristi. Kristi called/emailed 3-4 times a day until we booked our wedding and payed (we chose to pay everything up front to get the discount) we did not hear from her after that. We also had to track her down to get a copy of our contracted agreement prior to the wedding.
I really wish this feedback could be better -
Again DJ services were exceptional and he kept things going great and kept people on the dance floor- he is in the right field of work. We still get compliments on his work and how much fun everyone had. It was very easy to go online and select our music and he played what we wanted and was very flexible when guests asked for a music selection. He has a great personality, we had a great time with him and his music!

The DJ, Aaron, was excellent. The problem is with his wife, the "photographer," Kristi. She said we'd have our photographs on disk by 3 weeks after the wedding. Kristi has not returned our phone calls or emails. Kristi isn't making any prints or photo books, all she simply needs to do is download the photos onto a disk and mail that to us. I would never recommend Authentic Sound Mobile DJ again due to the lack of communication and total lack of professionalism by Kristi. There seems no way to contact Aaron directly as everything goes through Kristi...who does not answer. I wonder if Aaron is aware of how poor his wife's business practice is.
I'm curious if the others who wrote reviews, it looks like you wrote your reviews shortly after your wedding. Did you experience a lack of communication with Kristi after your wedding and a long delay receiving your photographs? And once you received the photographs, were you impressed with the quality of the photography?
Kristi showed up dressed in sloppy attire that one would wear to clean out a garage. Aaron was dressed very nice. Kristi did show up on time and was nice enough the day of the wedding but we have yet to hear from her or get our photographs. This is very disappointing.

I enjoyed working with Kristie and Aaron very much. I liked them right away because Aaron was willing to come to my home to meet me. Working full time, as the majority of brides do, it can be hard to arrange vendor appointments. Though Aaron is based out of the Murrieta/Temecula area he came up to Upland, approx. 30-45 minutes to meet me in the evening.
Like most brides my groom was not involoved in much of the planning process. So, my mom did my DJ vendor appointments with me. Both her and I liked him off the bat because we felt like we could be very honest and open with him. I only met with two DJ's before hiring Aaron and since my now husband was not present at those meetings I asked if they would be open to meeting him assuming I hired them. The other DJ basically said no, that assuming I hire him this is the only in person meeting we would have. When I asked Aaron that question he was very open to the idea and was willing to travel to Upland again! I think that speaks volumes as to he wanting to get to know you as a couple and not treat your wedding like it is just another gig!
I also appreciated the fact that he was the DJ I met with and the DJ that showed up. Even though I only met with 2 DJ's I contacted and talked to many of them by email. Often it seemed the DJ I hired is not who they assured would be the one to show up. Which left me feeling very unsure. It was nice to walk into the reception and recognize the person that was behind the DJ stand. Aaron assured me from the beginning that he would be MY DJ!
Kristie was also very patient with me as music was the one thing neither my husband or I did much about. Krisite called me the week of the wedding and we discussed what still needed to be done. I did the part I could take care of and she worked with my day of coordinator on the rest. I really appreciated her flexibility in letting my DOC communicate the timeline and a few other important details to her.
Having hired a DOC and having an onsite coordinator I didn't have to worry the day of about any of my vendors. All I know is when I walked into my reception Aaron was there playing the correct entrace song, and played the correct song selections for all of the other important dances.
He also made sure that we kept on track with the timeline. Our table visits were running long and even though we wanted to finish them Aaron knew the party had to keep going so that our guests wouldn't get bored! I really appreciated that because I didn't want my guests to feel that the reception was dragging on.
I hired Aaron to make sure the dance floor was full at all times, and the reception was a blast! I hired Aaron because I felt like he could read a crowd and know what would get them going. I actually think that the little to no guidance I provided turned out to be a good thing because he was able to do what he is good at, read a crowd and get them on the dance floor!
I would hire Aaron again!

Two words to describe Aaron's DJ skills - absolutely fabulous! He did my sister's wedding earlier in the year, so I already knew he was going to be great. Not only does he work in all of your pre-planned requests, he uses your selections to create a playlist for the whole night that you'll definitely love. The price charged for the number of hours spent at the wedding is more than worth it! I've already recommended Authentic Sound to several friends who are getting married and will continue to do so for years to come.

Both Aaron and Kristie were a dream! I can't say enough about them to truly convey how much we loved working with them. Kristie was awesome at all the details and answered all my questions in a quick manner. Aaron was, hands down, the best DJ I have ever seen/heard. I received so many compliments at the wedding. Even my wedding coordinator, who has seen countless DJs in action told me that he was the best she'd seen. Aaron knew exactly what to play and exactly when to play it. His choices kept both the young and older crowd dancing and singing along. It was the perfect blend of timeless classics that everyone wants to dance to with the newer songs that gets all ages on their feet. Aaron is just a nice man that knows what he's doing! He played all the songs we requested and added his own flavor. He sure knows how to work the crowd and definitely made my wedding the best day of my life. Thank you so much!

Kristie and Aaron are a fantastic company. So friendly, and super easy to work with. Kristie is on top of her game when booking and coordinating the event! Aaron is so fun to have DJ! He gets the crowd involved when needed and knows how to play the correct music!!! I could not have asked for a better DJ team for my wedding!!!

I would highly recommend Authentic Sound Mobile DJ’s to anyone! Thanks to Kristie’s help with the planning process and Aaron’s DJ skills my guests and I danced the night away and had the time of our lives! From the start Kristie’s professionalism and flexibility were outstanding. Planning an out-of-state wedding was so difficult but Kristie was one of my favorite vendors. Since I was out-of-state I didn’t meet Aaron until right before he was going to announce my husband and I to the reception. Aaron was highly professional but also really warm and friendly – I felt as if we were old friends and was immediately comfortable with him. The night was amazing thanks to Authentic Sound Mobile DJ’s – I’ve received so many compliments from my guests and a couple who were at my wedding is already planning to have Aaron DJ their wedding!

This Dj had all the music you could ever want ....and more. They were easy to work with and very professional. On the wedding day guess who showed up? Thats right DJ lucky, he was on time and ready to go. By the end end of the night the crowd loved him and wanted him to go on and on. He was well organized and perfect for our venue.

Aaron was an excellent DJ. My husband and I both like a wide variety of music and genres and Aaron, somehow, was able to work them all in. When I selected some of my favorite songs as "must play" (on the VERY convenient on-line planning form), I was not sure if any DJ was going to be able to make it work. A playlist with 80's, techno, alternative, pop and hip hop?!? Aaron made it happen, though, and was exceptional at reading the crowd! Thank you so much for turning our wedding into an event!

Authentic Sound Mobile DJs were great! Our DJ Aaron kept the wedding moving and played a variety of music. The online music selection process was helpful, well organized, user friendly, well stocked with a variety of music, and really made me feel comfortable about the music that would be played at our wedding. The online event planning was also helpful, and professional. Kristie at Authentic Sound was very flexible, answered all of my questions, and made recommendations well. Kristie and the online event planning system really made it to that we had every detail covered. Kristie was extremely professional, warm, and patient with my controlling and flaky wedding planner which made the Bride and Groom feel a lot less stressed!
