  The whole experience was wonderful!The on site planners were such a help.We are still smiling.When the on site manager Reginald rolled up his sleeves to push the baby grand into the grand ball room for our reception for our first dance I was so happy and so impressed.They were so accomadating.The chef and the banquet manager made sure our taste pallet was satisfied from the start of the meal until the end.So tasty!!

  The Convention Center is absolutely beautiful! The building is very spacious and it can accommodate both inside and outside weddings. They don't provide chair covers and the burgundy chairs can be an eyesore if your colors don't match. The caterer (Katie) was fantastic! She was very accommodating and responsive. The food was delicious! The event coordinator we had (Virginia) had a horrible attitude and was nowhere to be found when we needed her. We had a buffet style menu and the food was taken up before the reception was over and we all witnessed the staff members boxing up our food in to go boxes and taking them home with them (as well as eating our food in the kitchen during our reception). Being furious is considered an understatement in comparison to how I felt when I witnessed that taking place. Our cake was also taken up and boxed to give to workers. This was very unfortunate considering we spent almost $3,000.00 on food just so other people could eat it. My guests were still hungry even though there was PLENTY of food left that they did not have the privilege of enjoying. We paid for uplights that were not set up and the event coordinator tried to tell us we didn't pay for them. My husband politely emailed her the receipt and she tried to explain that her staff members were very professional and that we would get our money back. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is getting married if the event coordinator that we had is still working there. Our caterer was awesome, the food was delicious, and the venue was beautiful. Unfortunately, due to our negative experience, we cannot recommend this place.
