  Amazing job on not only the photography, but also keeping my wedding party on schedule and keeping me calm. We had 6 children in our wedding and it down poured during what would have been our first look time slot. Other vendors were running behind schedule and my event coordinator was not very helpful. April got amazing shots throughout all the chaos and confusion (at one point during the thunder and rain, I didn't know where my actual ceremony was going to take place). April was fun to be around and made me feel easy in front of the camera (which was a LOT harder than I thought it would be). She did an amazing job and I love my photos!!!

  I can't say enough great things about April!! I am so ecstatic that she was our photographer. Not only were her images BEAUTIFUL (and I've only seen a handful), but she was professional, excited, quick and put me at ease! In the beginning stages of the planning, I didn't realize how much time I would be spending with my photographer (especially as the bride) - particularly the moments right before the wedding when I was the most nervous - and I'm so glad I got to spend it with April! She put me at ease and put a smile on my face (and not just because she said to smile...ha!).
  
  When choosing a photographer, I spent a lot of time (too much time??) looking at other weddings on her website and realized that I would love each of those pictures to be framed and displayed in my house (if it were my wedding). That was when I realized that our styles matched and I knew April would capture our wedding perfectly! (I kept going back to her website throughout the planning process to ogle other weddings!)
  
  April was organized and gave us good feedback about timeline of the wedding. She was spot on for how long photos were going to take, which was awesome! We were finishing up our first look photos, a huge storm cell was approaching. April was great -- she didn't want to stop photographing just because of the rain, so we got a little creative and had a ton of fun!
  
  It is going to be a tough 90 days, but I am so excited to see the rest of our images! She was fantastic and I can't wait to use her as our photographer for future photo opportunities!!

  I first met April at a bridal show that I was attending as a friend of the bride. I wasn't even engaged yet but April's photography style and awesome personality wowed me so much that I knew I had to keep her in mind for when my time came around. I went home that day and immediately found her photography page on Facebook and started following her. After learning a little more about her from her Facebook posts and seeing more of her work, I totally fell in love and knew she was exactly what I wanted in a photographer. Once I got engaged, April was the first vendor I contacted.. yes, first! I had no clue about anything else but I knew I HAD to have her for my day! Upon receiving my first email from April I remember thinking, “this girl does not seem like a wedding vendor but more of a friend I’ve known for years." That feeling stuck throughout the whole process and even now, after our wedding. She makes you feel relaxed and you’ll forget she’s even there even though she’s working her butt off! (She was 5 months pregnant at my wedding and my guests were amazed at how she was running around non-stop all day! That's dedication!) April is so easy going but completely professional all at the same time! She’s fresh, fun and fierce! Seriously, you can’t go wrong with April K Photography! :)

  My love affair with April K began way before she even knows. I stumbled upon April's facebook page and stunning pictures probably about a year before I got engaged. I immediately bookmarked her site and told myself, although I had no idea how, that some day this girl would rock my wedding. Well, lucky for me, on July 5, 2012, she did just that.
  
  My fiance and I met April just about a year before our wedding for an initial meeting. Instead of chatting and talking packages/numbers, April brought her camera and shot a fabulous eshoot in a park in the Boston area. Her vivacious personality and ease as we took pictures and got to know one another left Brad and I completely sold.
  
  One year later, April left her family for a couple days and came to Jersey to celebrate the 4th and our wedding day!! I couldn't have been more excited to see her upon her arrival! She completed the "getting ready" process and just felt like one of the gals as she captured moments while we prepped for the day.
  
  I wouldn't even say that April was a vendor at our wedding, I would without question say that she was just another friend...with a camera in her hand. She rolled with the punches and kept everything moving just as we needed. Her spunky personality kept things light and made Brad and I, our families and friends, feel as if we were simply enjoying the day, not posing for pictures.
  
  So far, we've only gotten a glimpse of what's in store. However, from just the handful that have been seen, I can 110% say that April K has surpassed our expectations and officially rocked our wedding day.
  
  We love you, April! Don't forget about us - we'll DEFINITELY be making a trip to Boston for a pregnancy/baby shoot whenever that day comes!

  April is an amazing!! I feel so lucky to have booked her for our wedding. She is always prompt with replies, and very easy to get in touch with. Our engagement photos came out flawless- we couldn't be happier!! The best part, we didn't even have to wait very long to see them!   ...so I walk out of the church with my husband, right after tying the knot. things are crazy, everyone is hugging us, saying their "congrats", we are crying, and my MOH grabs me. "Oh no! You lost an earring!!" she says. As I look up at her she is holding my lost earring in her hand. "Ummmm, we can't find the back"....OH NO! (On a normal day, obviously this is not a very big deal, but as a bride, you can imagine the horror.) Before I could even blink, think, or move, April had taken off her beautiful earring, shoved it into her pocket, and handed me the earring back. THIS is the kind of photographer she is. This is the kind of photographer you WANT!
  
  April is completely amazing. Aside from being gorgeous and fun, she is completely professional, responsible, and on top of things! She is able to come into the situation and blend in totally. She is SO low maintenance. She was able to boss me and my wedding party around in the most perfect way. Her energy is totally infectious. I cannot even count how many people came up to me after the wedding to comment on how wonderful she was. She is not afraid to lie down in the street, kneel down in the mud, or hang off a balcony to get the perfect shot!
  
  I was a little worried about having a bunch of people (vendors) around me during the big day, who I do not know very well. Since this is such a personal moment/day, I was worried about managing everything. April made it effortless for me. She came in and just did her thing. (And did it DAMN WELL!) She worked around me and made me feel so comfortable. I have SO much fun posing for silly shots with her. She was totally up for anything. I felt like she was having just as much fun as me!

  Working with April was better than I could have ever imagined! April was ALWAYS available for my questions/comments/concerns (even if they weren't about photography!) She was extremely helpful in my wedding planning as a whole. She listened to what I wanted and delivered 110%! She made my fiance and I feel as comfortable as possible during our photoshoots, took loads of pictures, delivered them in a timely manner and they turned out superb!

  April was fantastic to work with! We were slightly skeptical when we selected April’s services because she lives so far from us however it was well worth it!! She was prompt, professional, and fun! Our photos were emailed to us a week after our wedding and the disc arrived about a week after that and we can’t stop looking at the photos they are amazing and really captured the day!
