Aperture Video filmed my wedding in Kansas City this past March. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with how our film came out - Joe captured every single moment from our day - from the big moments I had anticipated seeing to the small moments I likely would have forgotten about otherwise.
He picked the perfect music to accompany our film and the film quality is outstanding. We get very sentimental each time we watch it because it takes us back to our wedding day so vividly.
Joe is professional, courteous, and goes above and beyond for his clients. He also has insane footwork skills and climbed up and down way too many stairs on the day of our wedding to get the perfect shot. We love our film and will cherish it forever. I have been blown away by the work of Aperture! My only response upon receiving my video was WOW! By far some of the most amazing and creative work I have ever seen. I had been impressed watching other videos done by Apeture, but I never imagined my video would be as amazing as the others I had seen. Somehow Joe was able to take a whole days worth of events and capture it in a short video. I felt like I was reliving the day as I watched, every time it brings me to tears. Joe is truly a storyteller, in the most beautiful way possible.

I am so shocked and overwhelmed by the work of Aperture Video. I had seen the other videos on his page, but when it came to my own, I never imagined it to be so beautiful. The artistry and cinematography is outstanding, the emotion captured throughout the video is heart-wrenching, and the music background accents each frame exquisitely.
This might seem like an overkill review. But as an artist myself, I expected a lot. Aperture Video blew my expectations out of the water. And I am so grateful to have this momento forever more.
**as an added note: Joe is such a lovely guy. I'll never forget when we were taking some pictures/video outside the reception and my veil started to fall out. Joe jumped right in to place it back in, as he had seen how my bridesmaids did it before the ceremony. Just a class act!

If you are looking for a videographer in the Springfield area, look no further! Joe and Allison from Aperture Video are some of my favorite people now! My husband and I live 6 hours away from Springfield, so we thought that planning a wedding from such a distance would prove to be a major challenge, but that was not the case with the help of Joe and Allison! The one weekend we were in town to do wedding planning, Aperture was referred to us by my wedding hairdresser. We called them, and they agreed to meet with us a couple hours later! They are so professional, kind, and thoughtful! Our wedding was not very traditional, but they kept up with everything going on and put together an amazing video! Everyone who has watched our video is in love with it! One lady I work with said, "I watched that video and found myself crying... I never cry!" I am beyond happy with the work of Aperture video, and I would have never imagined it turning out as good as Joe made it! He is so creative, talented, and has a very impressive eye for detail! Joe and Allison are the perfect team. Allison has this magical power of being able to tell exactly what you want and what your style is even if you can't quite articulate it yourself. Joe has an incredible eye for capturing those special moments and sweet elements that add so much to the overall experience. During my wedding he seemed to be everywhere at once, but was never intrusive or disruptive to us or our guests during the ceremony. He got so many incredible shots that I never even thought to ask for.
I knew our video was going to be fabulous, but my husband and I were blown away with the final product. Not only did they capture every single special moment and more, but the editing work was absolutely gorgeous. The quality was so good that I felt like a movie star! The video wasn't just an observation of the highlights, it was like we were experiencing our wedding day all over again. Our video included personal interviews with friends and family, which made it even more special. Years from now, we can watch this video and actually listen to the advice that our parents gave us on our wedding day. That's amazing.
Compared to other companies I spoke with, Aperture Video is by far the most affordable and definitely gives you the most value for your money. Joe and Allison pour their hearts into their projects. Her creative mind plus his tremendous attention to detail will guarantee a stunningly perfect final video that you will cherish for the rest of your life. Joe with Aperture Video was great to work with. He worked with our requests to receive our wedding video in our hands. He also posted our video on Facebook for us. I feel like if we lost everything we could contact him and he would be able to assist us. He did take his full contracted time to send us our video so that was a bummer that it took a while, but he didn't go over his time to send us our materials. Our video is elegant and crafty and makes us look way cooler than we are haha. He was super great and lightened up our nerves that we were being recorded.
