Helped made our wedding day perfect

A & A DJ was an absolute pleasure to work with! Marcus is a fantastic DJ. He knows how to get things started on the dance floor! He knows how to read a crowd. He even stepped in to help on the dance floor when nobody knew how to do one of the line dances! He helped make our wedding reception one of the best times of my life! Larry definitely picked the right DJ for us. April helped tremendously with planning our wedding day. I planned it myself and if I didn’t have her I would have been lost. I switched our reception schedule up several times and she was happy to change things around. She also helped run the photo booth at the reception and all our guests loved it! At the end of the night things ended quickly and we forgot our memory book. She took a few days to make sure it all looked nice and took the time to personally drop it off at our house. I couldn’t imagine working with any other DJ. A & A DJ and staff made our day a night we will never forget!

Perfection!

Larry Martin and his team did a fantastic job at our 09/20/2025 wedding. Larry was always available for any questions or concerns I had throughout the planning process and was so organized as well! Larry made sure to ask all clarifying questions during our final meeting to ensure there was no miscommunication or mix ups during our wedding, and our DJ Craig made sure to reach out the week of to ensure I did not have any questions and to make sure nothing had changed!
Our DJ Craig did a fantastic job for our ceremony and reception, he made sure all ceremony music flowed perfectly with no jarring transitions and did a great job at keeping the night flowing! He kept the dance floor alive and slowed it down at the perfect moments.
We are so glad we went with A&A Disc Jockey for our special day - they did a fantastic job and truly care about their clients!

Incredible Wedding experience

We picked A&A Disc Jockey Service and had a fantastic experience from the first phone call I had with Larry to the wedding day. Larry drew me in from the first phone call we had and I knew I had to go with them. It makes a huge difference when a company wants to get to know you and your fiancé from the very first interaction. Marcus was incredible. He arrived and set everything up and was prepared before I had even realized he was there. Everything went so smooth with Marcus. He knew exactly how to read the room. He had everyone on the dance floor all night. We did not want the night to end!

A&A is thorough, responsive, and simply outstanding!

A&A is outstanding! I looked online at 5 different DJ’s for my wedding and choses A&A because they were the most thorough and interested in my needs, as well as very friendly. I had a small wedding (30 people), and wanted everyone up and dancing. This meant the DJ choice was critically important. A&A had an impressive questionnaire and was very responsive. I was stressed out, and will admit I was not as specific as I could be about the music I liked. Larry spent the time to reassure me and was always patient and thorough in responding to my ongoing questions. My wedding was incredible success, and simply put, A&A is exceptional.

Great Company to Work With

A&A is the real deal. Larry was top notch from start to finish. He helped gather all of my wife and I's information to make sure we had the best DJ experience possible. Once the day came, we had one of their employees named, Michael, and he was fantastic. He was personable, knowledgeable, and super friendly to everyone. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we owe a lot of it to A&A.

Second wedding using A &A

A & A is awesome! We used them for both our daughters weddings this September and again in June. Larry is responsive and helpful. Marcus did a super job keeping the reception flowing and many of our guests at both weddings gave positive reviews to us! We highly recommend them!

Great experience, from start to finish

We went with A&A for booking a DJ and for their photo booth experience. Everyone I worked with, from start to finish, was amazing. Marquan did a fantastic job as the DJ: he picked just the right songs at just the right moments, did a great job with introductions and announcements, etc. April, who ran the photo booth, truly went above and beyond to help the event run smoothly, and we are deeply appreciative of her help. I could not recommend A&A more.

Five star service

Five star service. A&A DJ provided superb service for my child’s recent wedding reception at Starmount CC in Gboro. A&A is a reasonably priced vendor who punches above his weight. Our DJ was Lee and I highly recommend his specific services. He worked with the B/G beforehand and completely understood their wishes for music, narration, and so forth. Lee hit the mark perfectly on all counts (no pun intended). And everyone danced the night away! True pros.

Amazing!!!

We found Larry and his crew from a friend that had used them for their daughters wedding. I had already heard great things from them about their services so I decided to check them out. They were super helpful and helped with any and all questions we had. Our day didn’t follow the original schedule we had planned. We got married in the winter and it was super cold that day. Any changed we made either to skip over something, or speed something up Marcus was great and did whatever we needed.

Best Reception Ever!

From the beginning, Larry was attentive to our needs and questions and he even catered to my husband's prior service in the military with a discount. During the process, between Larry and April, we had constant help and they made the process seamless. Lastly, Jordan (our DJ) was an absolute blast! Best dj ever

I can't say enough good things about A&A! Larry was so great at communicating with me throughout my planning process and was so helpful towards the end with finalizing all of my details and timeline. Our DJ, Marcus, was AMAZING! We had so much fun and he did such a good job at keeping everyone dancing and having a good time. I will forever recommend A&A to anyone looking for a DJ. Very positive experience from 1st contact to clean-up!

Jordan was an amazing DJ and working with A&A was a wonderful experience. They spent a lot of time learning about our daughter and her fiancee and what they wanted for their wedding. The reception was personalized, beautifully lit, and the dance floor was full the entire night. Not one un-danced song! Jordan was so sweet to our daughter and we are thrilled we hired them. A very good experience. Both thumbs up!

A & A DJ is the best!!! I cannot say enough great things about their entire team! From the beginning of our wedding planning process they were extremely kind and easy to work with! Incredible experience!

Larry and April were so helpful throughout the wedding planning process. We moved our date 3 times during to COVID and they were so flexible and supportive and empathetic. Marcus truly made our ceremony and reception perfect. We could not have asked for a better DJ and overall experience. My husband said we need to renew our vows in the future just so we can have Marcus come DJ again! We also had the Photo Booth and it was truly incredible! A&A made our wedding perfect!

Professional and Great at Entertaining

Larry, owner of A&A Disc Jockey Service, is great to work with. From the very first meeting we felt comfortable knowing that our day would be in good hands with any of his DJ's. Larry made himself easily available for meetings, questions, and support. He teamed us up with Marcus as our D.J. who was just absolutely wonderful. He was professional, nice, charismatic, and played a good variety of music to keep everyone having fun and dancing. We feel very fortunate that we had such a great DJ back by such a great company. Marcus, as our Master of Ceremonies, had the flow of the reception go so smoothly that we did not have a worry at all the entire night. We would recommend A&A Disc Jockey and Marcus to anyone. Larry and his team at A&A DJ's will help make your wedding reception an absolute blast!! From planning to reception we have truly enjoyed our experience with Larry and his team. April the wedding planner is a delight and truly made sure we had everything done and ready to go before big day. Best DJ Experience

A & A went over and beyond to make our special day even more magical than either of us could have imagined. Our DJ Caleb was awesome at what he does he kept our reception moving smoothly without making us feel like we were being rushed. Michael gave our love story presentation and I don’t believe he could’ve captured our story any better. April was running the photo booth, which seemed to be a huge success among our wedding guest. Each and everyone of them were very accommodating and enjoyable to work with. I can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our day spectacular.

They did a great job

A&A did a great job at our wedding. Jordan was absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job of getting people up and dancing. We let them take care of directions for the reception and it was well worth it. At the end of the ceremony Jordan even spoke with me and asked if there was anything else he could do for us and wanted to make sure he had done everything he could possibly do to make our day special.

Loved A and A DJ!

Larry Martin and his team were great to work with. Larry was organized and helpful when I started researching DJ’s for our wedding. I knew right away we wanted to use them. April was a huge help reviewing the details of our wedding and helping us make the right selection for music. The paperwork was overwhelming but she made it so simple. When it came to the day of our wedding our DJ Jordan was phenomenal. He did the music at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. He did a great job of choosing appropriate and fun upbeat music based on our criteria we gave them. The whole night was a great party and the music made it even better. Jordan felt more like a guest at our wedding not the DJ. He did a great job coordinating with our wedding planner to make everything flow and to keep our reception on track. He was a fantastic MC! Much better than the boring DJ’s at other weddings I’ve been to. You know the kind where it’s clearly just another wedding to them. Our guests danced the night away thanks to Jordan. We got so many compliments on the music and him personally. These are things that can make or break the party and in our case it made the party so fun! I 100% recommend A and A DJ, Jordan thank you for making our evening so special. We loved having you there. You were breeze to work with!

Amazing DJ

We did a simple outdoor wedding and due to Covid we did have to postpone and change our date. Larry was super flexible and understanding with us. He answered any questions we had about their extensive planner and April was wonderful in going over our timeline and letting the DJ know important details. Caleb, our DJ was amazing. He kept the music hopping and was courteous even to the most obnoxious guests with a smile on his face. A and A truly made our night special.

Amazing! Couldn’t ask for better.

From the very beginning, Larry was beyond informative and so helpful with every detail about the wedding process. As well as April when we got to the timeline process.
The day of the wedding, Marcus was our DJ and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Our expectations were blown away. He was very professional, and made sure he did everything he could to make our night the most fun experience. The dance floor never died down. So many people have asked us who our vendor was and said how much they loved his professionalism and personality. We will 100% recommend him to everyone. They made our day perfect!

Great Experience - Very Detailed Planning Stage

We had such a phenomenal experience with A&A Disc Jockey Service. From the very beginning, Larry (the owner) was incredibly helpful and personable. Through completing a thorough planning form, we were able to make it very clear the music and atmosphere we envisioned at our wedding. Larry and April seemed to always be available for emails and phone calls and we appreciated the great communication. They helped us plan for literally every single detail. AMAZING, Fun, Friendly, Professional, and affordable!!!

Let me just say how much we LOVED having A&A rock our wedding! They knocked it out of the park. Our friends and family just raved about how much fun they were having, how great the music was, and the photobooth addition was one of the best parts. In the photobooth picture book - so many of the messages just said WE ARE HAVING SO MUCH FUN!! (We were expecting ohhh wishing you a life full of happiness and all of your typical wedding wishes :D - Nope! They were having wayyyy too much fun which was GREAT!!! We loved it!!) That is a must to add to your package ;) Also, I will admit we are little picky about our music. We like our 90s, oldies, some today's hits.. I've been to a couple of weddings that A&A have played at and they've done Frank Sinatra themed weddings to today's music to club music. I mean, they have an MC for every type of wedding. I was a little nervous to tell them how many do NOT plays we had, thinking yikes - they're going to be like well what in the world do we play (ha!), but they didn't even point it out or make a fuss. They were just SO focused on what WE wanted for our special day, and how do they make it the most wonderful time for us and our guests. We enjoyed so many laughs with them and they made the process extremely easy and enjoyable. Still looking for a DJ?? You've found the right one!!

It was perfect!

As I am from Germany my now husband and me went (and still are going) through all immigration requirements. That included we had to marry within 90 days after my arrival. So we didn’t have much time to plan a complete wedding.
We were so very lucky to find an amazing location in Gibsonville The Burke Manor Inn – that was still available for that date. Lori Lacassagne from Burke Manor gave us a Vendor List and amongst other topics there were DJ’s listed. It was our luck that the first DJ’s mentioned were A&A Disc Jockey Service and that they were available. Everything went perfectly, before, during our wedding day and after. Beforehand we received information from A&A, were asked several questions and had calls with them to make sure they know exactly what we wanted and what was important to us. Our DJ that day was Marcus and he did an amazing job. He knew how to entertain our guests and to keep the flow - we had an amazing atmosphere and for sure a wonderful time!

A Night to Remember!

The Crew with A&A DJ were extremely professional. They have this down to a science! We were very impressed after our first meeting with Larry and staff and knew we wanted them to DJ our wedding! Amazing All-Around Service

A & A were the perfect DJ service for our wedding. From the initial meeting and planning process with Larry and April, to the great professionalism, enthusiasm, and energy Jordan brought to our ceremony and reception. Jordan was great at both the ceremony and reception, getting the music just perfectly, keeping up the energy, and involving the crowd. We could not have asked for a better all-around service and DJ with Jordan. Many of our guests continuously complimented Jordan on keeping the party going. Highly Recommend!

We first met Larry & April at The Carolina Wedding Show, where as a result of a friend’s recommendation, we stopped by their booth. When they told us about the Love Story option, I knew immediately that they were the right fit for us – I had never heard of anything like it and it sounded like the perfect option to tell our wedding guests our love story. We were impressed with A&A from day one!

During the planning process, Larry & April were both so helpful. They gave us the questions that they needed answered for our wedding the day we hired them (at least a year before our wedding), so it gave my husband and me plenty of time to discuss and decide on the details. They definitely called us and emailed us during the process to check how things were going, so we felt like we were well taken care of.

Our wedding was absolutely fabulous and we are so pleased with Michael (our DJ and emcee) and his performance! We have gotten so many compliments on Michael’s professionalism, but also on his fun & energetic nature, especially at our reception. Michael enhanced our reception with his introductions, commentary and selection of music. We have had so many people ask us who we hired as our DJ/emcee. We also felt that Michael helped our day run smoothly. We were impressed that he checked the pronunciation of everyone’s name in our bridal party before he introduced them to make sure he had the pronunciation correct. He also made a point to check on us during the day and to keep us informed when we were about to transition to a new activity during the reception. And the music was great! We had a great time on the dancefloor with our friends & family! The customer service during the process and on the day of was wonderful.

We did select the Love Story Presentation option and that is something that we will cherish. Michael told ours perfectly. We’d highly recommend this to anyone who is considering this option. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, Larry sent us separate packets for us to fill out separately, without consulting each other and then the A&A team put together our Love Story based on the information we had separately provided, like our first date, favorite memories, the proposal, etc. And during the reception, Michael performed the story in front of our guests. We feel like our guests got to know us on a personal level and we now have an extra special memory from our day.

All in all, we were thrilled to work with Larry, April & Michael throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. We felt like they made everything so easy and relaxed and we would highly, highly recommend them for any event (wedding included) for which you may need them! Thank you A&A for a fabulous wedding day and for making everything smooth leading up to it!

Amazing service! Excellent choice of DJ

We cannot say enough good things about A&A! Marcus was absolutely perfect, he was very thorough about direction and pronunciation of names. Kept in tune with the theme of the night from ceremony to reception. Has a great speaking voice and transitions songs perfectly! I highly recommend Larry & April, from beginning to end they kept in touch and answered any questions we had along the way. Awesome service for the price!

Attention to detail and overall just warm and kind!

The time that A & A spent with us helping make our day fantastic was outstanding. They helped and guided during each step of our planning process. I promise you are in professional, experienced and kind hands working with Larry, April and our DJ Wayne! On our big day Wayne helped us know where we were on our timeline that Larry and April helped us nail down. The music was everything we hoped for and the flow was fantastic. Excellent DJ

Excellent service. Larry (the owner) did a good job getting to know us and Marcus was phenomenal. He easily incorporated our theme through out the night and kept the dance floor full. The only complaint was at the end of the night when he had to stop playing music because the reception was over. We got as many compliments about the DJ as the food and cake. Would absolutely recommend.

Great DJ-so Professional!

We met Larry at a Wedding Show 4 years ago, and we were very impressed. Everyone at A&A is always so professional. We booked him for my daughter's wedding in May 2016, and we used the photo both, too. When my son got engaged in 2018, I immediately encouraged them to use A&A for their 2019 wedding. They agreed and their wedding was June 1, 2019. Marcus was a wonderful DJ at the Smith Beeson wedding 6/1/19. He kept the party going, the music was great, and so many people talked about the great job he did. Thanks so much for all you did for both weddings! We had a blast!

Easy and amazing

From the very beginning Larry was excellent with helping our vision come to life. We loved the photo booth and the guest book they gave us! (Even my photographer jumped in the photo booth with me!) I have pictures of guest in the photo booth that couldn't stay long and it means a lot they were able to enjoy and that I get to keep those memories. April was excellent in helping choose reception songs and calming my nerves as the decision were too much. Marcus, our DJ, was great at transitions and timing so everything went smoothly. That was definitely one thing my husband noticed and was thankful for. I'm so glad we chose A&A!!!! Thank y'all so much!

A&A really made my wedding a fantastic celebration!

My husband and I used A&A for our wedding ceremony and reception and we were very pleased with our experience! The planning process was very simple; April was a great resource when it came to planning all the special parts of the reception. Marcus, our DJ, was very easy to work with and threw a great party for our guests! He interacted with the crowd, added humor, and helped to make the night so memorable! A&A = Awesome

A&A’s is one of the best decision’s we made when picking wedding vendors. One of my biggest fears when picturing my wedding day was the awkward moments where guests were just standing around, not knowing what to do. After my consultation, I knew my worries were unnecessary. The office staff is knowledgeable and their experience is unmatched. A&A selected the perfect DJ to be the master of ceremonies for our night. Music was fantastic. Our guests had a fabulous time, and I could not recommend their services more.

We LOVE A&A DJ Services!!

We could not have been more happy or thankful that we hired A&A DJ Service to not only be our DJ for our wedding but also used their photobooth services as well! Larry and April were INCREDIBLE to work with. I would email Larry numerous times with various different questions and he always responded to me so quickly and was always so patient with my many, MANY questions! He made himself available and always made sure you felt comfortable with whatever decisions were being made. The DJ we had, Michael, included some amazing personalized details in our wedding as he was MC'ing and it was such a great touch. The Photobooth was also such a great service! We absolutely love having that album to look at and with two people manning the photobooth station, they made sure every aspect of that was taken care of! I can't recommend A&A enough and am so glad we chose them for our wedding!

Absolutely Amazing Entertainment

My daughter and I attended a wedding show even before she became officially engaged. A&A Entertainment caught her eye immediately. She said that they just stood out and looked like they would be a fun group to work with when the time came. Two years later we made the call and we are so glad that we did. They are absolutely over the top. A & A Entertainment provided the very best music and fun-loving DJs for my daughter’s wedding. We could not be more pleased with the services rendered from Larry and April. It was an amazing night and thanks to Michael and Caleb, the DJs assisting our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding, it was perfect. The music played during the cocktail and dinner hour was on point for such an occasion. Our wedding director was just as pleased with these guys, stating how impressed she was with their promptness, the way they interacted with the quests and the set-up of their equipment. Our guests have asked for a CD of the music played during the cocktail hour. I would highly recommend Larry, April and the staff at A & A Entertainment for any occasion but especially one as delicate as a wedding. It’s easy to see why they are voted best in the triad year after year.

Wonderful Experience!

Thank you A & A DJ Service for helping make my daughter's wedding reception the fun, energetic evening we had hoped it would be. From the very first meeting with Larry, it became clear that he had a thorough understanding of what goes into making an event a success. He pointed out things we hadn't thought about, such as what happens if the individual you've hired becomes sick? Who would take his or her place? Larry employs an entire staff of DJs and photo booth operators so that should the unforeseen occur, there's someone else to take over. After we decided to go with A & A, the depth of their questionnaires made it clear that they would work extremely hard to make sure the evening was exactly what my daughter and son-in-law wanted. Exactly what we wanted!

A & A is awesome to work with because Larry and April meet you as a couple to learn your personalities and the environment you want for you're wedding. They match you with a trained DJ specifically for your event and have you complete a detailed questionnaire where you have the choice to choose every detail OR allow the DJ to work their magic. It's all up to you, HOWEVER April is AMAZING because she is willing to help couples/families plan, organize, and make decisions. A & A realizes that while this is an exciting time, it may also be stressful sometimes. They're here to not only help you out, but make sure it ALL goes right.
Side note: we had Marcus as our DJ and he was HILARIOUS AND AWESOME! We wanted a party with funny jokes, loud music, and a hype crowd, and A & A (and Marcus) delivered. Best. Day. Ever!

Larry and April were great to work with throughout the planning for the wedding. I was really nervous about finding a DJ. I wanted there to be a lot of dancing but we had guests ranging from 2 to 98 years old and trying to find music that got everyone on the dance floor I knew would be a challenge. When our 98 year old grandmother got on the dance floor, I knew the night was a success! Larry and April worked through all the details for us and I felt like we were a team going into the wedding. They took the time to understand our vision for the reception and followed through on everything! I would highly recommend them and the photo booth was a blast! There was a line for it all night long!

After attending two weddings shortly after we got engaged, finding a good DJ skyrocketed to the top of our list. We hadn't realized until we were doing our own wedding planning how hard it is to find a DJ who dresses appropriately for the ceremony, has equipment that works for the entirety of the wedding and reception, and can read the crowd during the reception to keep the mood right. A & A Disc Jockey Services did all of those things. After an introductory meeting with Larry, we knew that A & A was who we would hire. Forewarning- there is some paperwork to fill out. However, by filling out your packet it ensures that your wedding will run smoothly and that you will be paired with the right DJ for your specific needs. We had Marcus who was friendly, fun, and definitely played the music our guests wanted to hear- Marcus said he'd never played so much Garth Brooks in his life! All in all, I would say that we were very satisfied with the professional, personable, and entertaining DJ/Master of Ceremonies services provided by A&A. Highly recommend!!!

Jon and I could not have chosen a better DJ than A&A Disk Jockey! They were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. We met Larry and April at the Greensboro wedding show and set up an appointment a few weeks afterward to meet them in person. We knew immediately that they were a perfect fit! Their attention to detail relieved our stress about the wedding reception and we knew they would accomodate all of our needs. They were always available and very responsive to any questions that we had through the process.
Michael Proctor was the master of ceremonies for our wedding. He was absolutely amazing! He kept the guests informed of the events coming up throughout the night and always checked in with us to see if we were ready for the next step in our reception. He was very clear spoken and easy for our older guests to hear. He truly went the extra mile to make our reception wonderful.
We also utilized the uplighting and cake lighting that A&A had. This helped transform the gym that we were in into a magical space. We love A&A and cannot recommend them enought! Thank you Michael, Larry and April!!!!

I can't sing enough praises about A&A!
From the initial contact on The Knot and Wedding Wire, Larry quickly called me to set up a time to have a free consultation. I had met with other DJ companies but none compared to A&A. Larry spent a great deal of time with my fiancé and me to highlight his company and everything A&A had to offer. It was no decision in our eyes. I didn't have a wedding coordinator but A&A promised to help make sure this void was filled. The wedding planner that they provided help plan my entire wedding and April helped me plan as well!
My husband and I were married in May at the Greensboro Arboretum. They set up quickly and no one had problems hearing our entire ceremony even though we were right next to a busy road, Wendover Ave. At the reception, Wayne was quick to greet us, get us introduced and with our guests. He facilitated the entire night. He respected my wishes for songs not to play but kept the dance floor full. My husband and I had an incredible evening. It was the best night of our lives and it was made possible by Larry and his crew at A&A. I'm forever grateful. If you want your wedding to be perfect, hire A&A!

I was a guest at my nephew's wedding at Willstella Farm in Kernersville North Carolina on May 26. Marcus, the DJ, made the wedding! He was well-dressed, well-groomed, relaxed, completely prepared and in control. His kind leadership made the reception a celebration filled with love, joy and fun that will be remembered for years to come. The photo booth was also a lot of fun and a great way to sign the guest book. The ladies in charge kept everyone moving, and at the same time took their time without rushing, making us feel comfortable and not awkward.

Our experience with A&A Disc Jockey Service was incredible!
We first began looking a year before the wedding and as soon as we talked with Larry Martin we knew this was the one we would use.
From the beginning (a year before) to the day of the wedding every detail was accounted for by Larry, April and Marcus.
Larry provided all the answers to questions such as pricing, what was available and needed to the smallest of detail calling me when he sensed the “mother of the bride” was overwhelmed with the words “we don’t want you to worry, we will help you.”
Marcus was the best Master of Ceremonies EVER!
He came in with the most laid back attitude, so very friendly it seemed as if we all had known him for years.
He had the music perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, introduction, dinner and dance time!
April did double duty by providing the Photo Booth and working with my daughter on music choices.
A couple of weeks before the wedding April talked with my daughter and helped her through some music selections for the evening in which this made it so much easier and less stressful for her.
The Photo Booth was phenomenal! Little did I know what fun we would all have and how much it added to the night!
Guest and family have since commented to me how great all of this was from the people to the services.
So happy we chose them!

From the very first conversation with Larry, I knew that the night would go off without a hitch! He and April worked so hard to accommodate the activities we wanted and to talk to us on our schedule (being in a different time zone can be a little tricky while planning a wedding.)

On the wedding day, it was so nice to be greeted by Larry and for him to give us the rundown of what we should expect upon entering the building. Not many companies will send out the “big guns” to personally welcome the bride and groom!

It’s obvious to tell that A&A works to find the right DJ for Your special day because Michael was phenomenal! He set the perfect pace for our day and had the personality to boot! We were a little behind schedule with our dinner but Michael did everything he could to make up for lost time without making any of the activities feel rushed. He was always double checking with us to make sure his improvised schedule would work for us and it ended up working better than the schedule we originally planned!

We are so grateful we had the guidance of A&A throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were a breeze to work with and honestly helped us plan out our entire day and what we wanted it to look like! The whole wedding day was exactly how we dreamt and I know if we went with any other DJ it just wouldn’t have been the same.

Hiring A and A was the perfect choice for us! They are so personalble and detailed I had no doubt they would help make our day so special!
Micheal was our DJ and April and a team ran our photobooth! All did a wonderful job. We got so many compliments from our guests on how great they were. A& A does a wonderful job of training their Djs to make sure they help you have the best day ever. They have so many levels to fit anyone’s needs. We chose a basic package and even that was outstanding! It was personalized and exactly what we wanted!
A few things that stuck out was how well Michael did checking in with us. If we weren’t ready for something he was very flexible and did a wonderful job keeping the evening smooth! The photobooth was so awesome! They had a ton of props and worked with our space we wanted for the back drop. The book with everyone’s photos is such a special way for us to remember our guests and to let them let loose. The ladies did a wonderful job helping with props and letting us know when the pictures would be! If i could have another party just to hire them again I would!

Larry and April with A&A Disc Jockey were great to work with during our wedding planning with supreme attention to detail. Their communication throughout the planning process was phenomenal. The DJ that we had on our wedding day did an excellent job of adapting to all of the changes that took place and he was able to keep the excitement and flow of the party going until the very end. A & A was the absolute right choice for our big day! They are amazing! We knew that choosing the right DJ would be important because everyone having fun despite their age, dancing ability, etc. was a huge priority for us (probably the biggest). From the moment we met with Larry, we knew we made the right decision. We never knew there were so many details involved, but we never felt overwhelmed. Larry and April were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. They have an organized packet to help you with everything, and are also a quick call or email away. April goes through everything with you over the phone before your big day. I knew they had all of the details taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about music during the ceremony or the reception. Our reception DJ was awesome! He played all the different genres we wanted. He seemed to know exactly how to read the crowd, because the dance floor was full the entire time! There were no awkward moments and everything flowed perfectly! Larry also had great ideas during the planning months, and suggested little things to make the evening special such as the “Shoely Wed” game and introducing the father-daughter dance. We did both of those things, and they are two of my favorite moments from my entire wedding day. I cannot thank Larry and his team enough! It was the celebration we dreamed of and all of our guests keep saying how much fun they had! I highly recommend using A & A for you wedding!

Larry & April are the MOST amazing people you could possibly meet as a bride. They provided DJ services at a friends wedding, which is where I heard about them. What I noticed at the friends wedding was the DJ was always constantly flowing & moving things, not just standing behind the booth & playing different songs.
When I first contacted Larry, we had a GREAT conversation where he explained their services & I got to ask questions as well. During my planning process, he & April were always there to answer any questions I had, give me feedback, etc. Larry & April paired my fiance (now husband) with one of their DJ's, Marcus. It could not have been a BETTER fit! Marcus was perfect for our guests, family dynamic & us as a couple. He kept the reception flowing & our guests had a BLAST.

A&A DJ were fantastic. April was very attentive and went above and beyond. My niece and little cousin were at the photo booth when a glass fell and shattered. Both little girls were barefoot and April and the other woman manning the photo booth got on their hands and knees picking up glass to ensure they were safe. Our DJ Michael was awesome. I don't have a very dance-y family so I was afraid we wouldn't have anyone on the dance floor, but Michael kept someone out there the whole time.

A & A Disc Jockey was very thorough in preparations for our big day. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. We got married at the Graylyn Estates in Winston Salem, NC which is a GORGEOUS, TOP-NOTCH venue so when they recommended A&A Disk Jockey service my confidence was 100% and I looked NO further. And after meeting with Larry, we KNEW we were in good hands!! We never felt rushed or pressured to make decisions when we weren't ready, and April walked me through the music planning EVERY STEP of the way which was such a HUGE RELIEF doing mostly everything on my own... They always had great suggestions and were quick to respond to my needs, even if it was after-hours. Sometimes I felt like I was the only Bride!! Hearing their voices on the other end of the phone was so soothing to me at such a hectic time and I never broke a sweat wondering how things with them would turn out on the big day. The music was FLAWLESS!! Not too soft, not BLARING in your ear either everything was JUST RIGHT!! They had Micheal DJ for us that day which we hadn't met prior and were a little concerned, but the staff from the Graylyn Estate knew him very well and again, made us feel 100% confident again so much that we didn't even choose music for the entire night. We picked our first dance, and cake cutting, the important stuff and we just told him what kind of music we liked and let him roll! It was GREAT!! He was a TRUE PROFESSIONAL master of ceremonies with just the right amount of humor and great improvising skills which is a MUST MUST MUST!! No matter HOW MUCH planning you do, there will always be things that happen unexpectedly and I CANNOT EXPRESS how grateful I was to have Micheal there working out the kinks just as soon as we even knew they were happening!! And the guests didn't have a clue!! Something my husband and I laugh about now, and even that very day. Like "OH WELL!! Nobody even knows that wasn't how it was SUPPOSED to go" And Micheal just moved us on to Plan B and we just laughed because we SO PULLED EVERYTHING OFF JUST FINE!! I met Larry and April a few years ago at a Wedding Networking Event and knew then that I wanted them to help me with my wedding. A & A DJ really made our reception special. My mom had multiple people come up to her and tell her that our wedding reception was one of the most fun they had ever been to. We loved the DJ Larry assigned to our wedding. He did a fantastic job guiding the reception and communicating with us what was coming up. I was a little concerned because we had a low budget for our wedding, and the price was a little higher than we were hoping. But, it was worth it! I did not have to worry about the reception and could relax and enjoy my wedding day. I would highly recommend to any couple that if they want a DJ, they should use A & A DJ. BOOK A & A Disc Jockey Services! Wow! They were amazing. A friend of ours who got married a few years ago booked A & A and spoke highly of them. When you go to meet with them, be prepared, the meeting is about two hours. But wow... they provided so much information that I wouldn't have thought about... different activities, types of sound/lighting system, photo booths, etc. While we decided not to go with the photo booth, we were extremely excited of the wide varieties of options to customize our wedding day. Once you choose A & A, they send you a packet (it's long, but DON'T be overwhelmed by it). It had so much information for us to fill out that made the day of event even easier. We had the opportunity to pick all the important songs and he even called to clarify the pronunciation of the names of our wedding party to ensure that he didn't call anyone's name incorrectly. Wow. And the packet had a TON of wedding song suggestions so if you get stuck you have some options to look at. April was also amazing! They both took the time to really understand what we wanted in our wedding. And day of... oh my! Larry was like a wedding planner! He helped us every step of the way and kept us and the photographer in the loop of each next step. He seriously got the party started (and no one wanted to stop partying!) He even provided us a CD at the end of the night with some of the songs from that evening. What a special surprise. Will be recommending A & A to all future brides!

A & A Disc Jockey did an AMAZING job at our wedding a few weeks ago at Old Salem. Larry Martin was there through every step of the way to help us with any questions that we had, explain things, and help us get the ceremony and reception planned. In addition, the in-house wedding planner, April, was a fantastic help to my wife, who was and is extremely grateful for her planning expertise. Though their help and experience, we were able to get everything planned and ready for our big day. On the day of the event, I met our DJ as he was setting everything up. We had Marcus, and I cannot say enough good things about the job he did. Marcus helped us have the reception that we both wanted, and was able to keep the crowd dancing, laughing, and having fun throughout the evening. We released our tables to the buffet by way of a Trivia game, and Marcus asked each question with excitement and had the crowd into it within seconds. One of the greatest things about the experience was how quickly Marcus and I built a way to refer to each other around decisions that needed to be made at the reception. From kind of close answers to trivia, Marcus would shoot me a glance across the room and based on my response to the answer, he knew whether to count it or ask for another response. When some of our guests requested slow song after slow song, he allowed me to override requests and keep the mood building throughout the evening. I've attended other weddings where the DJ would simply play whatever song was requested, and it broke the mood on a repetitive basis, resulting in fewer and fewer people dancing. Larry informed us that they were more than someone simply pressing play on a computer and having the speakers set up, and I completely understand that and agree after seeing the A & A difference. Larry mixed two songs together for my bride to walk down the aisle, and it came out PERFECT. Great experience, and worth every penny.

A&A Disc Jockey did an amazing job for us! The planning was seemless and stress free. They gave us a detailed questionnaire to fill out which gave my husband and I a chance to consider details we had overlooked and to really hone in on our idea of a perfect wedding and reception. After completing the form we spoke on the phone with a planner at A&A who made sure she had a comprehensive understanding of what my husband and I wanted. She matched us with a DJ who was wonderful! The DJ did exactly as we had instructed and hoped, making our big day so much more relaxing and fun. If I could do it all over again, I would a thousand times choose A&A!

Let me just tell you - BOOK A&A! Seriously, after meeting with Larry, we felt like we were in great hands. The whole planning process was made super easy by how thorough Larry & April were to make sure that everything was going to go just how we wanted it. The night of my wedding, I felt so taken care of! Larry was great in helping to make sure the event was running smoothly - even making sure me as the bride had time to eat my meal! He helped recommend adjustments to our reception timeline to get people on the dance floor sooner - and did they dance! They played the best songs to get people out and dancing - I didn't think we were going to have a dancing crowd, but boy did we!! Another highlight was the photobooth - what a hit!! People loved it and the people assisting made it so fun! We couldn't have been happier!

Larry and A&A Disc Jockey were so fun to work with! They kept the energy level up during our reception and there were always people on the dance floor. The flow out of our reception went perfectly and Larry was good about finding me or my husband prior to an announcement to make sure we were ready. We had a few things we had to rearrange due to time but he was great about making it all seem so natural. The timeline of our reception and the flow were perfect and it's all because of how organized that paperwork was we filled out prior to the wedding day! Larry, April and their staff are just top-notch people. That's all there is to it. Through the whole process they were so friendly and practically begged us to let them help in any way they could, even reaching out to their past brides to find us suggestions for a great after-party spot since we aren't familiar with the area. We picked a pretty basic package, but we certainly received five star service and were able to customize absolutely everything (and in turn, Larry and April choose the DJ based on your personality and needs). We handpicked a lot of our songs, and had a certain feel in mind for the reception music, so we chose not to have our DJ take requests. Unfortunately I learned through the grapevine that after a few drinks, some of my guests were very vocal to him about their dismay when he didn't play their favorite songs, but Michael really took it like a real professional and remained fun and upbeat the entire time. Thanks guys--you helped make our night so awesome!

Larry Martin is a fantastic DJ! We loved working with him. It's readily apparent that "this is not his first rodeo." It was quite evident from our first meeting with Larry that he has a wealth of knowledge in the wedding industry. He was more than willing to offer us advice and support and always returned my phone calls or responded to my emails within a timely manner. Larry has several Disc Jockeys working for his company, but he was our personal DJ at our wedding. He played all of the songs we requested, kept our guests on the dance floor with a wide variety of music, and kept us informed of any necessary changes to our schedule. This company is well prepared and will cater to your specific needs and requests to make your day special and unique. They are also quite affordable. I highly recommend their services.
