    The Truly Perfect Day!

    We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged, technically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn’t be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you’re on the fence, go with Amazae.

    My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else’s expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time.

    Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don’t meet your requirements.

    Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this.

    This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning.

    The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you’re down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

    We'd hire Crystal and team over and over again!!

    We recently had the pleasure of working with Crystal as our wedding planner, and we cannot recommend her enough! From our very first meeting, we knew that we were in good hands. She listened carefully to our vision for our wedding day, and asked so many thoughtful questions to get to know us as a couple.

    Throughout the planning process, Crystal and her assistant Kaila were always available to answer our questions and to offer their invaluable guidance when choosing our vendors and making many other decisions. They kept us on track with deadlines and helped us stay within my budget without sacrificing any of the details that were important to us. Crystal’s attention to detail and logistics was exceptional, and she thought of things that we never would have considered on our own. We also appreciated how big of an advocate Crystal was for us and the relationship she built with our wedding venue coordinator.

    On the day of the wedding, Crystal was a true professional. She made sure that everything ran smoothly, and that all of our vendors were on the same page. She handled any issues that arose behind the scenes, so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We was able to fully enjoy my wedding day, knowing that she had everything under control.

    Overall, we are so grateful to Crystal for her expertise, professionalism, and kindness throughout the entire wedding planning process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more.     Best Wedding Decision (Besides Marrying my Husband)

    We hired Amazae for two events: a family reunion/rehearsal dinner for 80 people and our wedding the next day for 185.

    Crystal is an amazing listener. She asked us about our dream wedding during the Design Meeting. I think her Super Power is understanding what you want, but making it better than you ever could have dreamed. So, it was definitely "our wedding," only better.

    Our family reunion/rehearsal dinner had karaoke, toasts, whiskey tasting, a photo booth, cigar rolling and a family style dinner. Everyone had such a good time!

    Crystal and her team have great vetted vendors (we were pleased with all of them) and Amazae takes care of the contracts and all the details. A very painless process where we were left with all the joy and none of the headaches.

    We recommend Crystal and Amazae as unbelieveable partners in creating and executing a dream wedding. They did that for us!

    Amazae is the dream team

    We cannot say enough nice things about the team at Amazae. They were the absolute best team in planning and executing our wedding in my parents' backyard. It was everything and more than we could have imagined - their professionalism, attention to detail, support, guidance and positive energy was incredible. We absolutely loved working with Amazae and they really made our special day (and the whole process) so easy for us and allowed us to throw the wedding of our dreams!

    Our wedding was magical!

    We cannot say enough about the job that Crystal and Caitlin did for us in planning our daughter's wedding...it was magical! Their organizational skills combined with there access to reliable and outstanding vendors provided us with a fabulous result. 212 people at our house went seamlessly under their leadership!

    Their attention to detail combined with their overall experience led to a wedding that everyone enjoyed to the fullest and continue to talk about even a month later.

    You will have your dream wedding with Amazae!

    We worked with Amazae for our July 2021 wedding. I highly recommend the Amazae team for weddings and all your events! We had the most seamless planning experience, and that includes a year long postponement during the pandemic. Our wedding was an absolute perfect DREAM and Crystal and Caitlin and their team made all that possible. The Amazae team are the sweetest, most attentive and kind group of women!     The best in the business!

    My husband and I had a 2-year engagement and we both thought that was PLENTY of time to plan our wedding on our own. We were wrong. After attempting to juggle all the work of researching venues, communicating with vendors, scheduling meetings, dress shopping, etc., we were burnt out and overwhelmed. We even contemplated eloping. Finally, we made the decision to hire a wedding planner and we NEVER looked back.

    We did a ton of research on Bay Area event planners but with the recommendation of our venue, Casa Real, and our initial meeting with Amazae, we knew they were the one. The services they offered were EXACTLY what we were looking for: Event Design (to put our vision together) and Logistics/Coordination (to manage our vendors and coordinate on our wedding day). Most importantly, their team were total pros. They knew our venue inside and out, and had long-standing relationships with most of our vendors. We left our first meeting feeling SO relieved and also excited for what was to come.

    We worked with Crystal on Event Design and were so impressed with what she came up with! I shared my Pinterest board of all my wedding inspo and she drafted a booklet of what our ceremony and reception would look like. She gave options for things to sign off on, telling us how much they would cost us, and her recommendations. It was so good to have someone do this research and all we had to do was make the decisions! The execution on the day of the wedding was FLAWLESS. It was 100x better than anything we or Pinterest could have come up with! We held back tears during the first look of our reception because we couldn’t believe how beautiful it turned out. It felt so romantic and elegant - everything we could have possibly dreamed of. Crystal is extremely talented and has an excellent eye for design. She is SO GOOD at what she does (words my husband and I said after every meeting!) and we couldn’t be happier with how she brought our vision to life!

    For Logistics & Coordination, we worked with Caitlin and Amy. Prior to our wedding, Caitlin kept us on top of our deadlines and managed all of our vendors. This was a HUGE help because we no longer had to communicate with multiple vendors and remember payment dates - they took care of all of it! They were incredibly helpful during our final meetings with our venue and our rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, we had Caitlin, Amy, and Lisa as part of our day-of coordination team. Amy was with the bridal party and I for the entire day, and she had such a calming presence about her! Not once did I feel stressed or nervous. Her, Caitlin, and Lisa managed everything behind the scenes but kept it so calm, cool, and collected. They checked on us throughout our reception and made sure everything was flowing smoothly. At the end of the night, they handled packing everything up and let us enjoy celebrating with our family and friends. Without a doubt, they were the best team to have on our wedding day!

    If you are questioning whether or not you need a wedding planner, my answer is YES and to go with Amazae! It truly felt like a wedding gift that we gave ourselves. We were able to enjoy the months leading up to our wedding and our actual wedding day because we were well taken care of. Would 10/10 recommend and use them again for any future events!

    Amazáe is INCREDIBLE!! Best team ever!

    You honestly can't find a better team than Amazáe. Crystal is such an amazing planner/designer/person, so it goes without saying that she only hires the BEST!
    I hired Amazáe for my July 20th wedding planning/coordination, and Nashely was the lead for my logistics. She is absolutely AMAZING! We met with her several times over the course of our planning, and she was always so professional, supportive, knowledgeable and a true joy to be around! I knew we were in great hands with Nashely and rest of the Amazáe team, so I shouldn't be surprised that the wedding day was FLAWLESS! Nashely and her team handled everything with efficiency and grace...as soon as something came across my mind, Amazáe had already taken care of it. I honestly can't think of a single thing that was missed!
    Amazáe is such an incredible team...not only are they true professionals, but they are also fantastic human beings. I will be forever thankful for their help in making our wedding PERFECT!

    A Gem Of A Company!

    An absolute grand slam of a team! These ladies go above and beyond their call of duty. From the beginning, they were with me every step of the way.     Amazae is the absolute BEST, hands down!

    If you're looking for the best wedding/event planning team in the business, Amazae is your team!!! From the moment Crystal and I had our first meeting, I knew that we had the very best, and I am so thankful for everything that Crystal, Caitlin and the whole Amazae team did to make our day absolutely perfect!

    Since the wedding, our guests have truly been telling us that our wedding is now "the bar for all future weddings," and that's truly down to Amazae! We were planning from across the country and Amazae made the whole process smooth and painless. During the whole process, we never had to stress since we knew we were in the best hands! Every detail was perfection and I'm so impressed at how impeccably Crystal and her team turned my vision into reality! Not only that, but they new exactly what to do in order to make the whole day even more incredible than I had imagined!

    I had so many people ask me if I was stressed or worried and the answer was always, "No, Amazae has it so under control, I have no worries." They told me what to do when I needed to do it, gave me options, and understood my style and vision - I think even better than I did! From the very first virtual meeting with Crystal, I immediately was confident that we had the right team. One meeting, we were joking about all the things that can go wrong with weddings and all the horror stories you hear the minute you get engaged.
    Crystal made a comment that resonated so strongly with us. She said, "Those things do and will happen. Something will go wrong. Our job is to fix them and make sure you never know that it happened." And I can tell you, almost 3 months after the wedding, I STILL don't know of anything going wrong. That's how incredible Amazae is!!

    Whenever any of my friends get engaged now and ask me for advice, I tell them to hire a planner - especially Amazae!

    So grateful!

    I know this is a long read, but worth it!

    This review has been a long time coming, and in the spirit of being grateful, I want to start with how grateful I am for the Amazae team.

    I honestly don't even know where to begin as so many positive experiences run through my mind when I look back at my experience with Crystal, Caitlin, & the team at Amazae.

    When my fiance and I got engaged, I knew that I needed the help of a talented team to help us execute our wedding weekend (We hired them for 3 events). We live in Sacramento and our wedding was in the bay area. On top of that, we had about 400 guests and I knew that having help was a necessity! My fiance let me take most of the reigns on the planning which I was very appreciative of (he had his 2 cents in the music and food, so everyone was happy). When I met with Amazae, there was an instant connection. And sure, part of that has to do with the chemistry of personalities, but more so, I felt heard, I was being asked the right questions, I saw that they understood my vision, and I could see that they were very able to execute. For someone like myself, who likes to have control over everything, feeling this comfortable to allow them to take the lead was a big deal. I also knew that in order for everything to be efficient, I had to be ok with them handling all the coordination, and I felt 100% secure with their team taking the planning into their own hands (though I'm sure I had a few "moments" of eagerness, they never made me feel like I was stepping on any toes).

    Everything during the planning process was such a breeze on my end. I think we met a total of 4 times from start to end with few emails in between. In that time, we were able to review decor (minute details included), food, timeline, budget, deal breakers, etc. They handled all of the correspondence with every vendor and I hardly had to, if even at all, need to have any interaction. They coordinated EVERYTHING! I honestly feel as though having the Amazae as my team was the best investment I made for that whole weekend, such a blessing!

    When it came to the wedding weekend. I was blown away with how smoothly everything went. If there was an issue, I never even knew about it. I wasn't stressed at all, which if you know me, you know how anxious I can get in these types of situations, so that was huge, and it's a testament to how comfortable I felt with their team. I was able to fully take in the day and that was very important to the whole experience (they even coordinated locations with my hair & make up team in the AM-- They're extra!). When I say they got my vision, that was the biggest understatement. The decor was UNBELIEVABLE it was so gorgeous. They even added some extra touches to detail that just amplified the space that much more. I literally cried when I walked into the ceremony and reception halls and couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. They literally made my wedding dreams come true, and the best part, was that they made it so easy, and so streamlined. Pure perfection. These images don't do justice to the space, however, everything about my experience with Crystal, Caitlin, and the rest of the team was effortless, breathtaking, and memorable. I am forever grateful and can honestly say I have found new friends with this process. Thank you Amazae!

    Best decision ever! :)

    Wow! We could not be happier with the experiences that we had with Amazae in planning our wedding. The number one question that we got on our wedding day was, "How do you feel? Are you stressed?" We proudly answered "We feel great!" every single time. This is due entirely to the amazing Amazae team. They had every single thing covered from start to finish.

    From our first meeting, Amazae made us feel at ease and that all of our wedding desires were going to be achieved. To be honest, we were quite a picky pair, always wanting to see additional ideas, quotes, images, etc... Not once did Amazae falter in their dedication to us .They provided us with countless options, advice, and did all of these things with a cheery disposition.

    Planning a wedding can be quite intimidating. There are timelines and checklists to be aware of. Amazae brilliantly kept us on schedule! We were given countless reminders and opportunities to make decisions ahead of time so we never felt like we were doing anything last minute. It was such a relief to be on track and to be able to monitor our progress through updated checklists that Amazae would send. During our planning, we had a few close friends also getting married at the same time. We would use each other as a sounding board in terms of what we had done and what was left to be done. After all of these conversations, we felt relieved at where we were at with Amazae. We would either be on par or way ahead of the planning game with our peers. Being prepared alleviated any potential stress that could have been lingering around.

    Now to the wedding day. This is where Amazae truly shined (not that they didn't shine leading up to the event... this is just where they kicked butt)! Given our venue and set up, Amazae was around in the days leading up to our big day. They worked around the clock meeting with vendors, checking in with the florist, coordinate with the church, etc... All of the minute details that we had worked on over the past year were magically before us. We were absolutely blown away at how GORGEOUS everything was. It is one thing to see your choices online or through designs but to see the real thing... it was truly breathtaking. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives! We did not have to worry about a single thing. We were kept on schedule, gently reminded about when to move things along, and had an overall sense of ease and peace throughout the day. While there are many examples of Amazae's prowess, this one story shows how truly blessed we were to have them by our sides. Being a nervous bride, I wanted to make sure that I had deodorant handy whenever I needed it throughout the big day...just in case :). I gave this to a team member the day before the wedding. This team member had it for me during the entire wedding day and once her night was done, she passed it along to another team member and made sure to let me know that I was still covered! While on the dance floor, close to midnight, I was able to call upon Amazae! Such a small but important example of the attentiveness that Amazae showed us throughout the entire process.

    We could go on and on about how Amazae was there for us in planning our wedding! But, to sum things up, deciding to work with Amazae was the best decision that we made. Not only are they a rockstar professional team, but they ensured that what we wanted for our special day came to fruition. No matter how far fetched or unique an idea seemed, Amazae was there to make it happen. We feel blessed and grateful that we made the decision to work with Amazae. They are amazing!

    Amazae is nothing less than amazing!

    Let me start off by saying- If my husband and I could give more than 5 stars, we would!

    We just got married this past Saturday, 11/10/18, and I knew I needed to write a review ASAP. I have been fortunate enough to work with Amazae for about a year to plan my wedding. As soon as we walked in the door, we hit it off with Crystal in every way - her style, her personality, her thorough approach to things and the general way she made us feel like everything would be coordinated perfectly if we worked with her. And now that we've lived through planning our wedding with them, I couldn't imagine working with anyone else and we can confidently say that they were worth every single penny and then some! They did everything possible to make the wedding of our dreams come to life.

    Our wedding was 200+. It was VERY important to us for our wedding to meet our cultural (Mexican) needs as well. I was worried that our wedding planner wouldn't understand what we needed. Crystal knew EXACTLY what I wanted and made that happen!

    Amazae helped us with design, set up venue visits, reviewed vendor contracts, coordinated all the logistics with vendors and wedding party members, attended food tasting with us, held one last walk through of venue to review timeline, set everything up beautifully on the day of and kept everything on schedule, ran our rehearsal flawlessly, kept track of every single detail throughout the entirety of the process, and generally helped us with any and everything - all with smiles on their faces, high energy, and often our favorite drinks from Starbucks (or wine) in hand.

    Through the entire experience, it felt like we were working with family. Crystal, Katey and Caitlin- WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU. We even fell in love with day of team members we had never met. If you are planning a wedding, do not hesitate to contact Amazae. After the wedding was over, my husband and I were actually sad we wouldn't be contacting her team nonstop on a daily basis. Amazae TRULY became our family. I cannot thank them enough for how beautiful my wedding turned out. We have received tons of compliments, and the success of our wedding would not have happened without them.

    Crystal LeQuang, Nashley Villalvazo, and Christina Tran are all wonderful event professionals! My daughter was married this past weekend in San Francisco. We consulted and contracted with Crystal, who clearly has years of experience and knows exactly what she is doing, and worked through the planning details with Nashley. Christina joined Nashley to assist on the wedding day.

    The ceremony was about a mile from the Reception. Each venue had the same start time for set-up, so they had one person at each location to ensure they were prepared and executed as planned.

    I was a nervous wreck going into the last month of planning. Even though we started planning a year in advance, the wedding was quickly upon us. No worries though, Nashley took over finalizing details with the timeline and vendors. And, it was seamless!

    I work in the wedding industry, and being on the other side of things is no cakewalk. However, I was able to truly enjoy the weekend, starting with the rehearsal and ending with the day after the wedding, when I had to follow up on an item a guest left behind at the venue (quickly found and returned, by the way). I was actually able to enjoy every single moment of the wedding and reception. Nashley came to find me when I was needed for a dance, or cake cutting, etc. All I had to do was be present and have the time of my life.

    I applaud this team for their professionalism, dedication, creativity, and general industry smarts. They are absolutely wonderful, and I am grateful beyond words to have had them on our side.

    Guest feedback was amazing, my daughter and her husband are completely thrilled well beyond expectation, and I am truly without the proper words to express how wonderful of an experience this has been. It was perfect! Thank you Amazae! I have always recommended you to others (both wedding couples and corporate groups), and will do so even more now. You were amazing!

    Wonderful wedding planner, with Crystal, Caitlin and team. They were exceptional every step of the way, helped us stay within budget, and gave us excellent vendor recommendations. Highly recommend securing them at the very beginning of your wedding process so they help you secure the best contract for each vendor. They know their stuff. Our daughter's wedding was a Mission Carmel Basilica (ceremony) and Carmel Valley Ranch (reception). Thumbs up on day-of help too.

    I wish there were more than 5 stars to give Crystal, Caitlin and the Amazae team. My wife ended up in the emergency room on our wedding day, and Crystal directed an heroic effort to move the ceremony, reception, dinner, flowers, cake, etc. to the following day. Almost all our guests were able to attend, and the wedding was a beautiful and moving occasion. Even without the crisis management, the wedding would have been a smashing success because Crystal and Caitlin took the time to get to know us (we are an older bride and groom) and to help us design a wedding experience that truly reflected us. We received many compliments from guests on the beauty, atmosphere, guest care, flowers, cake, etc. at the Westin Sainte Claire in San Jose, which was a perfect venue for us. -- John E.

    If you and your fiance have a full-time job and super busy, find planning and running errands aversive, and you want to be stress free before and during your wedding, I recommend hiring Crystal and her team. She will take care of things and make sure that you are on track with the timeline. We had a an amazing time at our wedding and everything went smoothly.

    We were a very busy couple and had very limited time to dig into every detail that would have made our wedding fantastic. Crystal was PERFECTION!! She sat with us, totally understood our vision and style. Then she should present us with what she thought we would like, which was always spot on, and we could quickly make decisions on the finishes for our event. Everyone who came to our wedding still speaks about it being the BEST wedding they have ever been too. It was so fun. It was elegant and had a fun twist during the reception. I can't wait to work with her again on our next event!!!

    Words cannot express how grateful and honored my wife and I were to have Crystal Lequang of Amazáe Special Events plan our wedding. After getting Crystal on board in March 2012 and shooting for an October wedding that same year, Crystal was able to plan, design, and deliver the perfect wedding for us. When we first met her there was instant chemistry and as a result, she designed a beautiful wedding that reflected our personalities. She was also able to set us up with vendors with great talent that met our budget, and overall did a great job of supporting us through the stresses of wedding planning. Most importantly she was there for us on the big day itself taking care of all the details to make sure we had nothing to worry about. We can't thank her enough!

Each and every one of you went above and beyond to ensure our special day would be filled with magical moments to be cherished forever. You certainly took our desires and requests to heart making the entire event feel like a fairy tale.

    I felt like a princess from the moment I walked in your door. I knew that my Prince Charming was equally attended to! Our worries and distractions faded away as you set our spirits at ease.     Hiring Amazae Special Events was the best decision my fiancé (now husband) and I made in regards to our wedding planning. We initially researched several reputable planners in the Bay Area but as soon as we met Crystal, we felt completely at ease and confident that she understood our vision and would create something incredible. The tricky part would be incorporating our blended cultural backgrounds into the design of the wedding in an elegant manner. (I'm Japanese and East Indian and my husband is Turkish). Crystal and her team did an amazing job. The team is so creative, professional and they are truly masters at what they do. The day of the wedding was completely in their hands and I didn't have to worry about any of the little things. Everything just seemed to magically happen by the team behind the scenes. My fondest memory of my wedding is that I was able to enjoy all of it and knew everything was in very capable hands. My guests were in awe when they arrived. Everything was STUNNING! The design was better than I could have ever hoped for. (Gorgeous drapery, flowers, lanterns, Indian sari material tablecloths, lighting, rented chic furniture and the list goes on.) My friends and family still comment on what a beautiful wedding we had. I could go on and on about Crystal but words cannot describe how pleased we were with Amazae. During the wedding, the bustle of my dress tore and the Amazae team pulled me into a room, pulled out needle and thread and sewed it right then and there. I was back on the dance floor in minutes. That's just one example of how Crystal works. She's prepared for anything and her calm reassuring personality helps tremendously. She is the Super Woman of Event Planning. From small, simple events to large magnificent ones, Crystal and her team can make them a "dream come true".

    Crystal and her team were AMAZING! I don't think our wedding day could have been more perfect. Crystal really worked with us from day one on all the big and little details. She was in constant contact with us when needed and extremely professional. I never felt stressed when working together....We felt at ease knowing that Crystal was behind the scenes making sure all went smoothly. Crystal also really listened and took note of what was most important to both of us on our wedding day. She took our design ideas and brought them to life, making them unique to us by using her design expertise and experience. The design elements Crystal and her team created were beyond what we ever imagined. Our mouths dropped when we saw how she transformed our ceremony and reception area....Both were just incredible. Words can't fully express how special they really made our day and the care Crystal and her team took to ensure it was the best day of our lives. I would HIGHLY recommend Amazáe Special Events to anyone!

    Think of all the curveballs you could potentially throw a Wedding planner.. Multiply that a few times over, then relax. Crystal Lequang is on your side. She not only guided us from beginning to end, she made it happen in a matter of 3 months. Not to mention, it all came out as if it had been planned for years.. Crystal and her team helped us blend two opposite cultures and religions into one. They helped us overcome every challenge that came our way and most importantly, reminded us to have a good time and enjoy when it counted the most. In a day where everything could have gone wrong, Crystal and her team made it work like a symphony was playing in the background. From the venue, to the positioning of a flower, her attention to every detail and smile helped make our day a memorable one. If you ever consider working with a planner, make sure Crystal is on your side. Thank you for everything you did!
