What can I say about Allison and her team: AMAZING!!! Allison did my invitations, escort cards, programs, table numbers/menus, personalized signs, and now my wedding day thank-you's! They spend a great amount of time listening to your ideas and are very responsive... and the end result is simply amazing! I received so many compliments on everything! Her work is beautiful...and added such a special touch to my wedding celebration!!!

Allison and her team are fabulous! We have received SO many compliments from the day our invitations went out! We also used Allison for table numbers, ceremony fans and Mr./Mrs. signs and everyone who sees their work raves about it. We are so thankful that we were introduced to Allison and are extremely pleased with all of her work! They ROCK!

We used Allison Barnhill Designs for all of our paper products for our wedding and they were all AMAZING! She did our save the dates, invitations, table name signs, programs, menu cards, etc. I loved that everything was completely custom...it makes it so special to have unique items for your wedding!
From the first meeting to talk about the save the dates, she totally "got" what we wanted for the paper products and ran with tons of ideas and colors that all worked perfetly. She would have proofs ready within a day to show us the options for fonts and layouts. After she did the save the dates, she had already pulled a bunch of paper and ribbon samples to show me when I came in for the invitations - and I loved everything she suggested!
We named our tables after fish and I had a hard time finding pictures of each fish to put on each table name card. She helped me research the fish pictures and found several that I loved that we used on the cards. She really went above and beyond with her customer service and she was so pleasant to deal with - always happy and smiling! Definitely one of my favorite vendors - everyone raved about all of our paper accessories and we got TONS of compliments on the invitations!! I would highly recommend Allison Barnhill Designs - She was fantastic!!!

On my cousin?s recommendation we checked out Allison Barnhill Designs and are so glad we did! Because of our budget, we didn?t want to put too much money into invitations, an area we figured we could save money on since only the moms really care or notice these them anyway. Yet we didn?t? want them to be cheesy or boring either, a tough balance we were easily able to achieve with Allison! She helped us craft beautiful, personalized invitations within our budget that had style everyone commented on and were memorable. She is very easy to talk to and engages with you, making sure she understands what you are saying by repeating it and asking you follow on questions as you try to explain to her what you are looking for. She never batted an eyelash as we engaged back-and-forth on email over tweaks to our design (we weren?t sure what we wanted to it took more than 10 templates to get it right!). We really liked that when we had to order additional invitations there was no extra fee; the price remained the same as the bulk order. We?ve recommended Allison Barnhill Designs to our friends, and would recommend them again.

The Allison Barnhill Design team was phenomenal. I was referred to Allison by my wedding planner - Engaging Affairs. I did an initial visit where we walked through the vision, theme, and outlined a budget. Allison and her team are the best kept secret for Invitations/stationery in the Washington DC area.
Before going to Allison my husband and I had probably met with 4 other companies. It took us less than an hour to agree that Allison was the one. The team is highly creative, flexible, and communicates frequently with the bride/groom. We loved the fact that Allison and team were able to digitally send us designs, concepts, and proofs via email. It was so efficient and convenient. Our invitations were based on a Purple Passion theme and looked remarkable. They were so elegant and we received numerous compliments on the look and style of our invitations. To view the invitations simply log onto the Allison Barnhill Blog (archives). Allison and team also designed our seating cards and placecards which matched our invitation theme.
In addition to being a great place for invitations I also learned that Allison made veils. In my search for the perfect cathedral length veil that wouldn't break our budget I worked with Allison to design an amazing 120" cathedral length veil which I wore for the wedding ceremony. She is highly skilled and talented. The veil was simply stated and added a touch of timeless appeal to my strapless gown. Allison and the team are simply amazing. We HIGHLY recommend getting your invitations, other stationery, and even your veil from there.

Don't look further--just head over to Allison Barnhill Designs! We searched online and visited multiple local paper design stores looking for the perfect match. We actually used another local vendor for our save the dates--then we discoverd Allison at a bridal show and we were sold! She is so artistic and professional; she 'gets' what you're looking for immediately and is very willing to tweak designs until you're satisfied. Compared to others she offers great value for the dollar...and the best product. It became a joke in our family: every single person who commented on our invitations (and there were lots) used the word "gorgeous" to describe them. I loved the way we could do most of the consulting via e-mail after our initial meeting. It saved so much time and was stress-free. In the end, Allison did the invitations, the table numbers and the votive "placecard" for us--they were a dramatic hit! I highly, highly recommmend Allison Barnhill Designs!

I used Allison Barnhill for my table names. I got engaged in Las Vegas and rather than number the tables, I used Vegas hotels. Allison was such a joy to work with and really made my idea into something gorgeous. I also used her for two labels on other decorations and am so excited for her work I am going to use her for my thank-you cards. I am a budget conscience bride and she worked with me to make the most out of my budget! Can't wait to use her again!

I had a hard time finding exactly what I wanted, then I heard of Allison Barnhill Desigsn. I went to her store and the choices were amazing!! I ordered my invitations Allison Barnhill Designs and I loved them! They were perfect. I had so many people comment on how they were the most beautiful invitations they had ever seen. They were done quickly and professionally. The staff was very nice and patient and answered all of my questions. I also ordered my Thank You cards, placecards, and table numbers and everything was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely order from them again.

Originally we were just going to have them do our invitations, but as we got closer we also added programs and table numbers, well flowers. We discussed with Allison how we wanted our invitation to set the tone for the whole wedding, which was understated elegance. She came up with five proofs for us. Once we decided on what we wanted she put together a proof for us to approve before printing. We made a few changes that she incorporated within hours. The beautiful sapphire and white metallic flat panel invitations are adorned with a silver satin bow and rhinestone buckle. The invitations were mailed out to the guests in a luxe white mailing box to protect the rhinestone buckle. They also provided us with hand calligraphy address labels for the mailing boxes. The table numbers and programs were just as beautiful. Our florist even commented "those are the most beautiful calligraphy table cards." One note they communicate only by email, phone appointment, and in person. However they are great at responding.

One of my favorite vendors! Allison made my invites, rehearsal dinner invites, dessert reception invites, and thank you cards. I wish I had more invites for them to make. We had many people tell us they were the most beautiful invites they had ever seen. Being responsive is a very important trait to me in choosing a vendor, and Allison always got back to me quickly. She gives her clients a lot of care and attention and it shows in the final product. Go see her, you won't be disappointed!

Allison makes handmade beautiful invitations at a very reasonable price. my guests raved about them and many immediately wanted her website. She is very flexible and sends proofs via pdf files for your approval. I will definitely use her for my next big event.

Allison did the calligraphy for our invitations and I was thoroughly impressed. Her prices are outstanding and her work is absolutely beautiful! She also did the tags for our wedding favors. Again, the price was great! The tags were adorable and she designed them, printed and delivered them in just a matter of days. I found Allison to be very easy to work with, flexible and understanding. I highly recommend her services!
