Where do I even begin? Alea exceeded my expectations tremendously. Everyone hopes for the perfect day, but what we forget about is the importance of the pictures as they are our most cherished memories. Thanks to Alea Moore Photography, I have the most amazing photos to look at whenever I want to reminisce on my perfect day. Alea was truly a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She was responsive, grounded, energetic, and detail-oriented. She has the exact aura that one would like a photographer to have on a highly stressful day. From the day of my wedding to the day of getting my pictures, I easily saw the passion and talent in her work. I HIGHLY recommend her services.

Alea is amazing! She has a great personality, is easy to talk to, and really wants to capture your wedding day how you want it to be captured. She is very efficient with your time and gives great suggestions of things to do in pictures. Her pictures are absolutely beautiful and she was so much fun to work with! I have, and will continue to recommend her to everyone that is in need of a photographer!

We used Alea for our wedding photography and absolutely loved her! I met Alea as a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding and instantly fell in love with her bubbly personality, professionalism, and warmth. I was even more blown away by the quality of Alea's work after my best friend received her pictures back after the wedding. Needless to say, Alea was all of the above and more throughout the whole wedding process from planning, day of, and after the wedding. I was most touched by how thoughtful Alea is! She sent a hand written card, framed wedding picture, and was consistently checking in with me to answer questions or provide encouragement. Alea is a great listener will make your photography vision come to life! We loved her second shooter husband AP as well. AJ is kind and brings an essence of peace. They both made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We loved them- highly recommend!

Alea was such a joy to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. Although she wasn't available on our wedding date, she recommended we use her associate, Carrie Tabb. I am so glad we did! Alea did most of the communicating and checking in with us leading up to the wedding and always made me feel so assured about our plans coming together. And Carrie was absolutely wonderful the day of. She was so friendly and helped us feel so relaxed. She was amazing with my nieces and nephew who were our flower girls and ring bearer. They were only 2,3, and 4 at the time so definitely very hard to keep still for photos, but she was so good with them. We have not gotten all of our pictures back yet, but the ones we have (their favorites) are amazing! We feel that they truly captured our day how we hoped they would. We are so grateful to have found Alea and Carrie and hope that you can have just as great of an experience on your wedding day as well!

Alea is OUTSTANDING! My husband and I did our engagement pictures with Alea and immediately into our photo shoot, we knew we made the right choice hiring her to photograph our wedding too! She has such a bubbly personality and is truly knowledgeable about photography. Our engagement pictures turned out incredible!! Communication with Alea throughout my whole wedding planning process was a breeze. On our wedding day, Alea and her husband, AP were on site. These two are so awesome together! I am so confident that they captured our wedding with precision and detail. Every time there was a special moment happening where I thought " I'd love to have a picture of this", I turned around and already saw Alea and AP taking pictures! I am thankful for everything Alea has done for us! I would recommend her for any photography needs you may have (engagement, wedding, couples, family, holiday).

Alea and AP our photographers were perfection and such a joy to work with leading up to, during, and after our wedding. Throughout the entire engagement process, Alea was wonderful and super sweet. She was super flexible (and my schedule was challenging to say the least) and organized and focused on making my life easier. Her knowledge is deep and experience wide, and she handled all of my many questions with the ease that only experts can. She also went the extra mile to offer suggestions that made the difference in my wedding day (e.g., best light for photos, photo booth ideas, etc.). Without ruining any surprises, let me just say that Alea also demonstrated her thoughtfulness and big heart throughout our experience as well.
During our wedding weekend, Alea and AP navigated the complexities of our venue (even though it was their first time shooting there) and schedule with ease and patience while bringing smiles to all. They went extremely above and beyond the call of duty to help us and make our day special and were such a calming force. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference they made in the day and how they helped to overcome challenges so they didn’t become issues. We are so grateful for their support and all of the beautiful images they captured of our special weekend. I cannot recommend them enough as top notch people and professionals. Truly amazing, talented, kind, funny, and wonderful!! Thank you Alea and AP. We are forever indebted to you and all that you did for us!
I would also recommend that brides add on the wedding photo booth option if you are considering it. Per usual, Alea delivered this perfectly. She gave me creative control while feeding me many ideas for photo booth design, and the final product was exactly what I wanted. She had loads of fun props as well.

We were referred to Alea by a friend. She was busy during the weekend of our wedding and used another one of her photographers, Carrie Tabb. Wow.

We were very fortunate to have absolutely fantastic vendors all around at our wedding. With that said, Carrie easily stuck out among them and was far and away our favorite. Not only did Carrie take absolutely breathtaking photos, but she went so far beyond the call of duty for us- we were blown away. Carrie is very personable and will be able to make anyone calm and comfortable while taking their pictures. Good ideas come so naturally to her and she has such a good eye for the perfect image. Not only that, but Carrie will make your pictures FUN. If you have kids, she will tame them. Tough groomsman or bridesmaids to work with? Not a problem. Furthermore, our wedding went a bit longer than expected- Carrie and her team, without hesitation, stayed to capture every moment of it.

Bottom line, this is who you want at your wedding. Carrie is an incredible person who will, without a doubt, exceed all your expectations. We couldn't be more thankful to have had her at our wedding.

We feel unbelievably blessed to have had the opportunity to hire Alea and Kim for our rehearsal dinner photos and for our wedding day - a total of 11+ hours! They worked so hard and for such a long time, yet I felt as though they were friends who happened to be taking pictures. Their dedication and joy for this profession truly shone through, and I know that love will be reflected in our wedding photos. They are both a gift!

We had a very large wedding, a complicated wedding party, and several guests that didn't speak English in our immediate families. Alea and Kim handled this seamlessly, cheerfully, professionally. After our ceremony, we had a very small window of time to take photos in the church, and Alea and Kim commanded the respect and control we needed it to get it done - all while smiling, being friendly, and never, ever raising their voice or even lifting an eyebrow. For other formal shots and for fun shots at the reception, we felt completely comfortable with them.

Before I met Alea and Kim, I had been nervous about the photographer because I've had friends who've had some pretty bad experiences with wedding photos. After I met Alea and Kim for the first time, I trusted them immediately, I could see their skill level through their portfolios, and I truly enjoyed their presence. It was a true joy to share our wedding day with them. We can't thank them enough!

I am writing this review and giving Alea and Kim 5 stars and I haven't seen the first wedding photo yet! Yes, they are just that good. I think they should have more space here for more stars.
Having seen my daughter and son-in-law's engagement photos from Alea, I have no doubt that their wedding photos will be stunning. Besides, Alea promised to make me look tall and thin in every photo!
The maid of honor noted that even though Kim and Alea had to tell everyone what to do and where to go and keep us all on schedule, they were so nice and happy that it was just like having two more girlfriends with us.
They definitely enhanced the joy of the occasion. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and everyone.

We can't say enough about how amazing Alea and Kim are. We met with them while we lived in Atlanta, knowing that our wedding was going to be in Austin, TX. We were so excited when they agreed to fly out to Austin for our wedding.

Not only did they do an amazing job on the photos themselves, but they went above and beyond any expectations we could have asked.

Every picture was perfect, beautiful, and amazing to look at. They both created such a calming influence over us and allowed us to just be natural and ourselves. And their personality comes out in their picture taking, which makes things even more enjoyable.

Both girls are so nice, so attentive, so responsive, and just amazing talents. They even followed us back to our hotel after the reception for a fun private shoot with us, risked their ives to run into the street during green crosswalk lights just to get ridiculous pictures that we thought would be cool.

We love Alea and Kim, and will be using them for any and all photo needs in the future.. we couldn't trust anyone else to do it as amazingly!

Alea and her team were the best--the consummate professionals--we knew that they were taking pictures, but they were so discreet no one hardly noticed. I loved how quickly they were able to take family photos, especially since I have such a large family. I didn't want them to have to waste much time away from the reception. I cannot wait to see the finished product as I know that they will be creative and able to capture the spirit and emotion of the day. And most of all==they were all a delight to work with!! Thanks Alea and your team!!

Couldn't have asked for anything better; she was wonderful. Her other photographers were just as wonderful; in addition to allowing us to have a ton of fun during taking our photographs, they were all a pleasure to be around. I chose her based on numerous recommendations from close friends.

I love, love, love Alea and Kim! They are fun, professional, and extremely talented. I am so pleased with our engagement and wedding photos. Their style is just what we were looking for. Our photos have a unique, modern feel to them, but they also possess a timeless quality without being overly traditional. They were the first vendor we hired, and I'm so glad we did!

Alea Moore was definitely one of my favorite vendors. The first time I met with Alea to discuss photography, I knew I didn't want to look any further. She and Kim Lindsey together make a wonderful team- I have recieved tons of compliments on both our engagement photos and wedding photos that have been put on their blog. They are so meticulous with their pictures- they don't miss a thing. Alea was very flexible when choosing our site for the engagement photos. We used her for not only that but rehearsal dinner and wedding pictures as well. Her calm and easy going personality puts you at ease when the awkardness of picture taking is in effect. I felt like I was hanging out with friends! Also, the turn around is pretty fast- we got out engagement digitals within 4 weeks. I would recommend them to EVERYONE.

Alea and Kim are not only wonderful professionals, but wonderful people. They were very attentive and so easy to work with. When I look through the pictures from our day, I can remember each moment like I am still there in it!

I highly recommend Alea Moore and her team. Her packages are comprehensive and affordable, definitely a great value! She always shoots her weddings with two photographers minimum, which provides great perspective, different angles, and so many pictures to choose from. When your pictures are all edited to be perfect you work with her to design your own professional photobook. This process with her is so much more personal than what I've seen with other photographers, and she doesn't charge you for changes made to your album (others charge upwards of $100 if you make more than 3 changes to THEIR design)... she wants you to have the perfect photobook. Alea and Kim are so personal, so great to work with, and completely professional. I didn't worry for a second about our photos on our wedding day. I knew they would get every photo we wanted!!

I cannot say enough good things about Alea. She is the most talented, most professional, and most valuable photographer in Atlanta. She stays with you the whole time. She flexible and creative. She genuinely cares about the couple. Her packages include digital rights to all photos (which she delivers to you via discs in pretty packaged tins). Her work is incredible.

Alea and Kim provided amazing advice prior to the wedding and were just a joy to have around on wedding day. They got pictures of everything from top to bottom and were willing to do just about anything! I could not recommend them more highly to anyone looking for journalistic style photography.

Alea Moore Photography is absolutely magical. Our photographer was Alea herself (although, all of her crew is awesome and extremely talented), and our pictures capture every moment of our special day. We didn't budget for a videographer, but the photos are a virtual "flipbook" of the entire day's events. There is just a personal touch with this photographer that you don't necessarily find with other vendors. We were so happy with the service we received.

I have so many amazing things to say about Alea and Kim. Throughout the wedding planning process, we worked with some really great vendors and some that we ended up feeling really disappointed with. I feel so thankful that Alea and Kim were one of our favorites, and they definitely did not disappoint. First of all, they were extremely friendly and warm, which meant so much to me, as I was really anxious on my wedding day. They were great at making us feel comfortable, and I even got compliments from the bridal party about how awesome and nice our photographers were. They are not afraid to put all their energy into getting the best pic, and I thought they did a great job at capturing all the candid moments, which was so important to me. Their pricing is very reasonable, and it was well worth every penny. I will say that, at times before the wedding, they were kind of difficult to get in touch with… but their awesomeness on our big day made up for that. Lastly, I would urge any bride to make a list of the photos you MUST have. I had planned to get photos with my greeters and readers at the reception, but completely forgot once things got going. Looking back, I wish I had either explicitly let Alea and Kim know that or had built that into the schedule before the wedding (things just go by so fast!). Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Alea and Kim to any bride without reservation.

I really liked Alea, We met with her only a couple of weeks before the wedding and she was able to come and take pictures of us. She is amazing and she makes everyone so comfortable. Some of my family did speak much English and she made them so comfortable and they took part in all the pictures. I greatly recommend her.

Alea is such a talented photographer. I liked her because she caught the moment of my wedding instead of having a bunch of uncomfortable posed pictures (although, we did get a few of those for my mom). She is soooo nice, and so fun to work with. She really makes you feel comfortable if you are not so used to having a camera in your face!

Alea was great the day of the wedding, but unfortunately, that was where it ended. Response times were slow and communication was extremely difficult. Our wedding album was not what we ordered even though exact details were expressed. I would not recommend her services given her cost. Not professional at all.

Worst photographer ever

Our whole experience with these people has been absolutely horrendous. They are a complete scam. For starters, we requested one specific picture be taken on the day of our wedding. They did not take the one picture that was specifically requested.
We are now having an absolutely terrible time trying to get our wedding album from them that we have already paid for. We paid them for 3 wedding albums on September 1st and we still have yet to receive our albums. They now will not answer our emails or our phone calls.
These are the absolute worst people I have ever worked with and they are a complete scam. They are trying to get away with our money and not deliver what we have paid for.

Dishonest no show no refund

Bought a photoshoot session as a Christmas gift. She took forever just to send the gift card. I had to email multiple times. Then trying to schedule was nightmare she would complain about the weather and said that she need the natural light. So guess what if it rains on your wedding day she is a no show! Then I tried to reschedule again, and it would be days before I hear back from her. When we finally agreed on date she tried to change the meeting time on the of the photo session. After that I asked for my money back and she never replied until I threatened a legal lawsuit, and then she said that she had done nothing wrong. She never returned the money, took $400 didn’t take any photos and disappeared despite multiple messages left for her. Flat out dishonest!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHOTOGRAPHER!!

Once we made our payment, Alea seemed very difficult to get in touch with. I called/emailed her almost weekly and left a voicemail, and I would receive an email back every few weeks, which lengthened our process. It has almost been a year since our wedding and I am still fighting with her to get the rights to the photos that are legally mine! I feel as though as soon as she received the money she was done working with me. On a positive note, one of her other photographers took our photos and she did an amazing job! It is too bad that it has taken a year for us to fully enjoy our photos, due to this editing process. Since Alea was not the one to shoot our wedding, yet was the one to decide what photos we received, it created a disconnect with what we really wanted to show from our day. My advice would be to find another photographer that will make your day as special as it should be.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. My wedding photos are horrible and not at all what I asked for. Makes me want to cry every time I see them. Do yourself a favor and really make sure this team is what you want. I am sick to my stomach. Unprofessional, hard to get in touch with, and unfortunately lacks true wedding photography knowledge.
