Wedding at Pinecroft Estate with Airwave Band

Airwave played at our wedding at Pinecroft Estate in Cincinnati. They were the best wedding band that I have seen. They kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! They had the best selection of music that everyone loved, they were amazing MC's, they read the crowd so well, sounded awesome (such a great mix of vocals), were very classy and well-coordinated, and had the best energy. They were also so nice and easy to work with, went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and even surprised us by learning new songs for us! Multiple of our friends asked for their contact information following our wedding to have at theirs. They made our wedding so perfect and fun! I highly recommend for any wedding or event. Thank you Airwave! We look forward to seeing you playing at Jeff Rubys!

The grooviest band in the land!

A band was a top priority for our wedding reception! We remembered the Airwave wedding band from a wedding we attended in 2018!! (That's how memorable they are!) WOW. Did they go above and beyond for our big day. They are worth every penny! Adam was SO amazing to work with during our wedding planning process. He was extremely professional, kind, communicative and willing to work with us through the COVID-19 adjustments and new guidelines. In our state, dancing was banned -- but we knew we wanted to keep the band for some amazing live entertainment. We are so glad we did! It was the hit of the night and kept people smiling, dancing and singing along. The band learned our first dance song specifically for our wedding because we choregraphed a dance to it -- they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Because of their performance, so many of our friends are adding a band to their wedding plans. Thank you Airwave for helping make our wedding day so memorable, fun and GROOVY!!

The Airwave Band was rocking!

The Airwave Band played at my son and (now) daughter's wedding and they were fabulous! Having live music really is a great addition to any wedding and The Airwave Band gets everyone on the dance floor! We loved their music variety and selection. Stop by Jeff Ruby's or Carlos and Johnny's for a preview, see restaurants website for when Airwave's are playing. I highly recommend this band! Dixie and company rock!

Best Band in Cincinnati!!

Airwave Band was exceptional! Our wedding was over a year ago and when we think back on that day this band was the best part. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. They learned a few new songs for us and helped us put together our playlist. They have great insight on how to structure the evening. Their range of songs is great and they make everyone get out on the dance floor. All of our guests commented that the band was amazing. They definitely made the night very special. If you're looking for a band for your wedding look no further! They did an amazing job and I am so happy we chose Airwave!!

Great band for a wedding!

Airwave was very flexible and easy to work with. Their vast song list made it easy for us to customize a song list for our wedding reception and they brought the energy to keep the party going all night. Many guests told us how much they enjoyed the band as well. We can't recommend them enough. They worked directly with the venue to determine the best setup which took one thing off our plate to coordinate.

Unbelievable!

My husband and I have loved and followed Airwave since we first saw them perform at his sister's wedding. We have watched them play live at Carlo & Johnny's. Then, when we got engaged, we booked Airwave IMMEDIATELY!
They are just absolutely unreal. I wrote them an email recently thanking them for their performance at our wedding, and I thought it best describe how we felt, so I have pasted it here =)

Adam,
I cannot tell you enough how absolutely INCREDIBLE you and your band are! Our guests kept going on and on about your performance (And still are!). Despite seeing you all play as many times as we have, we were still blown away. Thank you for keeping people on the dance floor all night and for making our wedding reception unforgettable!

I also want to thank you specifically for:
1) Learning news songs for our occasion and absolutely killing it!
2) Playing that Boz Scaggs song for my grandfather + announcing him to come to the dance floor... I cannot tell you how much this meant to him.
3) Letting us use the mic to call people to the dance floor for photos!
4) Being so organized, helpful and prompt in your responses throughout the planning process!

You and your band are truly one-of-a-kind. With such extraordinary skill along with being so personable and friendly... just amazing. We will, without a doubt, continue to recommend you to our friends!

Awesome. There is no better band.

Airwaves as always was exceptional. Very easy to work with, very accommodating, even learning some new songs for us. The crowded dance floor all evening was evidence of their ability to reach all generations and get them out dancing. We got an extreme amount of compliments from out of town guests. They made our daughters reception a truly memorable evening.

Airwave Was Beyond Amazing

Airwave was amazing! They made our reception what it was and everybody was dancing the entire time. They brought great energy in addition to their unreal talent. In addition, they learned our first-dance song and listened to our "do not play" list. Would recommend them to everyone!

Airwave is the Best!

I have nothing but good things to say about Airwave. They made every part of our reception memorable. The music they played for intros was perfectly on point. From there, our first dance songs were exactly as we had asked for them - short and sweet. It was like Ed Sheeran was there! Once dinner was over, their music helped get ALL of our guests on the dance floor immediately and they were dancing through the night. I wished we had them for a few more hours. Thank you to everyone in the group - it was truly amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about them and would recommend them to anyone.

Book this band!

The Airwave Productions team was the icing on the cake to our wedding. Adam Scovanner was a dream to work with- was timely with email and phone call responses, asked questions that we didn't think to ask our venue team, and assisted with the seamless transitions from moment to moment of a beautiful wedding day we so enjoyed spending with the band themselves. They kept our guests dancing and singing all night, and were incredibly attentive to the songs requested, wanting to be avoided, etc. We would 100% recommend Airwave for any event, and look forward to rocking out with them again in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about this band! Aside from playing amazing music, Ted the band manager made my day completely come together. One of my favorite parts of my entire wedding night was sitting down for dinner and hearing Dixie and the band start to sing their dinner set- it was AMAZING. Honestly, I usually force myself to the dance floor and am over it by the end of the night, and now I would give anything to spend another hour on the dance floor at my wedding with this band. We added the horns section for our wedding night and it is worth every penny. Every song the band played was a hit ( awesome combination of current and 80s for the reception and also beautiful dinner music) -everyone want to be around the music. I am so lucky they were available for us and I wouldn't have changed a thing! They are THE BEST!

Airwave was a HUGE hit at our wedding this past September (2017). During our band search, Airwave caught our attention when Adam invited us to watch the band play at their regular Wednesday night gig at Jeff Ruby's. We were very impressed with the range of songs they could play, and play extremely well. We decided on Airwave that night and the great experience continued all the way through the booking process and wedding reception. They had everyone (of all ages!) on their feet dancing all night. Many of our guests continue to compliment how great the band was. We would hire Airwave a thousand times over!

we were fortunate enough to have Airwave play at our daughter's recent wedding and there is a reason they are one of the most sought after bands in the region :) they are FABULOUS ! They are professional, easy to work with , their play list is superb and their on-stage presence is fabulous. Most of our 180 guests stayed on the dance floor until the last song was played...and they would have stayed longer :) on a scale of 10 , Airwave is a 20 :)
PS: splurge for the 10 piece to include the horn section...well worth the additional, minimal cost

Many of our guests told us that our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to, and I contribute a huge part of that to Airwave! They were PHENOMENAL and had everyone dancing all night long! They were easy to work with and didn’t require any in-person meetings before the big day, which was great because I was planning a wedding from across the country. Airwave was by far the best money we spent on our wedding, and I could not have imagined it without them.

The wedding was even more incredible than we could have possibly imagined. The music was perfect and I must have gotten a hundred compliments on how fantastic the band was!!! From the ceremony to the very last song, Airwave set the tone and kept the party going - everyone was dancing all night long, which was exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you for all of your help over the last year. We could not be any happier with how our day and night turned out!

Hiring Airwave as our wedding band this past month (September, 2017) was one of the best decisions we ever made! My husband and I searched forever to find a band in Cincinnati that we were happy with and it was not until we found Airwave that we felt we were in good hands. Turns out, Airwave went above and beyond our every expectation. They were incredible to work with and so quick to respond to all of my emails, easy about every request we had, and above all else, INCREDIBLE at the wedding! All of our guests had an amazing time and SO many people told us how good they were. Every singer in the band is incredible (which was SUPER important to me given my background as a performer), and specifically Dixie's voice is ridiculously insane..that woman can sing ANYTHING! We would hire Airwave a thousand times over! There is truly no doubt that they are the best band in Cincinnati!!

We certainly made the right decision booking Airwaves for our daughters wedding!!!
They were always very responsive to all of our questions and they happily learned two songs
for our very special night. all of our guests loved the band and danced the night away.

Ted Karas, band leader was incredibly responsive to all of our emails and inquiries. He worked within our budget and The Airwave Band was AMAZING! From the moment they started playing we had family and friends approach us to tell us how impressed they were with the band and in general how great they were. Our guests are still talking about The Airwave Band and we are looking forward to seeing them play locally at Jeff Ruby restaurants to continue to relive our special day!

Amazing performance at our wedding! Airwave was fabulous! The energy level stayed high and the dance floor was packed all night--just what we wanted! I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful music and atmosphere created at our wedding. You all are such a blast and ever so talented! I can't tell you how many compliments we received on the music and how well you sounded live - after all nothing beats a live band, especially a good one:) It was even said you played the "Best Live" version of Journey's, "Can't Stop Believing" that some had ever heard! Airwave is THE best band in Cincy hands down!! In planning our wedding, finding the best band was top on our list and boy did Airwave deliver! Everyone including my husband and I were on the dance floor the entire night. Our wedding was in April and we still hear comments from our guests raving about AIrwave!

Ted was very easy to work with and very responsive. I will certainly use Airwave again for future events and recommend them to anyone and everyone I know!

Phenomenal!!!! Airwave made our wedding the perfect fun night that we had envisioned! They were extremely professional, responded to all of my questions quickly, and helped me organize the night. Everyone at our reception raved about the band and said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to (I know people say that all of the time) and everyone was on the dance floor by 8:30 and danced the rest of the night! Their song selection was perfect, they picked a great playlist for their break, and their vocals were just amazing! I was so impressed and I could not recommend them enough!! Thank you!!

We were extremely pleased with our decision to hire Airwave for our wedding. We’ve seen them perform around town and at other weddings and have always been blown away by their energy, diverse abilities, and overall talent on stage. We wanted the energy a band would offer to help with the tone of the reception. Airwave did not disappoint! They know how to read the crowd to allow for maximum guest interaction and involvement. The assortment of songs and music offered something for everyone to enjoy. We could not have been happier with our choice of having Airwave be a part of our wedding day. Thank you!

Airwave Band provide just the music we were looking for. Their wide range appealed to all ages. The dance floor was full all night? Great folks to work with, could not have been happier. Traveling to downtown Louisville was no problem.

Airwaves was AMAZING! Ted Karas was so easy to work with, a great communicator and very accommodating. No prima donnas here -- Ted and Dixie are just nice people. The band is composed of great musicians who really give a great performance. They really MADE our evening. They have an incredible playlist with so many songs from every decade, and they were happy to learn a new number for the bride and groom's first dance. This is the best band in Cincinnati for a wedding or party!

Awesome band! We loved these people. They were so great to work with. Ted Karas informed us of all the things we needed to know, provided playlists and thoughts about how the reception time should flow which was very helpful to us. Such sweet people and very accommodating with regard to music preferences. They kept our guests on the dance floor and everyone wanted to know where we found such a great group of musicians! There's nothing like a live band and these people are so great!

Airwave is by far best wedding band in Cincinnati! If I could give them 10 stars I would! My husband and I started looking for wedding bands shortly after we got engaged and stumbled upon Airwave on a wedding website. We decided to check out one of their shows at Carlo & Johnny and literally booked them that night (Yes, they are THAT amazing!) Dixie's voice is one of the most beautiful, soulful voices I've ever heard in my life! Just spectacular! We loved them so much that the months leading up to our wedding we went to almost all of their shows at Carlo & Johnny for our date nights. Ted, Dixie and Keenan all took the time to say hello during their breaks and even went out of their way to play our wedding song!

The range of music that they are able to play is incredible- from Cole Porter Hits to Lady Gaga (and it all sounds great!) We really appreciated that they were able to learn two new songs (Simple Man and Do You Love Me by the Contours) for our Mother/Son, Father/Daughter dances! Ted was extremely easy to work with and did an amazing job emceeing the reception. Our guests went crazy when they played "Blurred Lines" for our Bridal Party Grand Entrance--too fun! Do yourself a favor and book Airwave for your wedding! Our guests are still talking about our amazing band and what a great time they had dancing the night away! Thank you Airwave!- Homana & Matt

We have used Airwaves Band for both of our kids weddings and they were fabulous. Ted and Dixie were very easy and professional to work with. The entire band is incredibly talented and kept the dance floor crowded the entire reception. Both times! We highly recommend them for any event.

We cannot say enough about this band!! From learning to play the bride and groom's requested first song to keeping even the non-dancers on the dance floor, this is the band you want for your next event. Ted is so easy to work with, and takes all your special requests. Our guests loved it when the sax player played in the middle of the dance floor. The night just flew by! Thank you Ted and Dixie! Airwave is a MUST book!!! They did an amazing job the whole night. Ted MC'ed the reception, and the band kept people dancing all night long. The event coordinator said that in all of her years working at wedding receptions, she had never seen so much dancing. If you want your guests to have a blast, you should book this band. They're extremely professional and fun, and I would highly recommend!

Airwaves is great! Ted was very responsive through the whole process. My mom and I went to listen to them at Jeff Rubys (where they play every wednesday) and Ted made a point to come up and introduce himself. We had a lot of guests in the 20-30 year old range as well as parents and grandparents who were on the dance floor all night, which is exactly what we wanted. Great music for everyone!

We couldn't have found a better band to play at our wedding. Airwave was perfect from start to finish. They have a extensive song list to choose from and played a wide range of music that had our guests dancing all night long. Many of our guests commented how much they loved our band. I would highly recommend Airwave to play at your wedding. You won't be disappointed!

airwaves was UNBELIEVABLE!!! they were helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, and our dance floor was PACKED the entire night. the only time people weren't dancing was when they took a short break. they played the perfect music and knew exactly how to get everyone moving. they had a saxaphone player who came out onto the floor and had everyone dancing around him. everyone was raving about them and i think they made our reception. do yourself a favor and book them ASAP!! :)

Airwave did such an amazing job for my wedding! They really got our guests moving and set the tone for the reception. They played most of the music we asked for and guests are still talking about them!

Amazing. Airwaves had everyone out on the dance floor and created a phenomenal play list for our wedding. We had people coming up to us all night raving about them and several engaged friends asking us for their information! Definitely made our reception amazing!

The BEST wedding band in Cincinnati. We enjoyed working with them; they sounded terrific and did an amazing job the whole night. Highly recommend them! THE BEST.

Ted and the band were fabulous! Not only were they the life of the party, but they were extremely professional. If you want a wedding reception that people will remember, I highly recommend Airwave Band. They were worth every penny!

Airwave Band was absolutely fantastic. They made our reception so much fun! My husband and I really wanted to sing a song together for our guests, and they worked with us to make that happen. They were very easy to work with, and their music was incredible. All of our guests were up dancing at the start of the first song! I will forever recommend Airwave Band to everyone I know!

My husband and I selected Airwave for our 2013 wedding.After seeing them play at Jeff Rubys, we knew they could put on a great show and came highly recommended.
I cannot say enough good things about them. They know weddings and know how to put on to keep your guests entertained. Ted was exteremly professional to work with and stayed in communication with us throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding.
They played a variety of songs, and even learned to play a new song (at no additonal cost) for our first dance.
My favorite memory was when the sax player came onto the dance floor and played his saxophone around the guests. My guests applauded and whistled! It was a blast and an memroy I will never forget!

Airwave made our wedding reception a success and I can not thank them enough!
