  DELICIOUS food, would recommend!

  Absolutely Sensational Catering did such a great job for our wedding! Karen was responsive with phone calls as soon as I reached out to her company. Their menu has plenty of options to suit any type of event and taste. We had the bbq pork and lemon capers chicken as our main dishes, with salad, cheesy potatoes, broccoli casserole, and potato wedges for an appetizer. We also had Karen do our cake, which was a strawberry cream and vanilla layered cake. Our guests have many compliments about the food and dessert! We hired two servers for the night of the wedding to assist in clearing tables and serving. We would recommend Absolutely Sensational to anyone getting married in the Gatlinburg area!!

  Thank you for the kind words. Our food is always good, so it makes my job easy, no complaints! After 30 years serving brides in our area. I an still excited at every reception. We laugh, cry, all the smiles and hugs. You ladies decorated beautifully. It was perfect.

  Karen was absolutely wonderful to work with! Two weeks ago I reached out to her because we were travelling to Gatlinburg for our wedding with our families. We were planning for 21 guests and Karen accommodated us all on short notice and did a fantastic job! We ordered half baked chicken with pineapple and rice and half filet mignon wrapped with bacon (mhmmm it great!) Our wedding was at 6 so by the time we were back to the cabin (almost 8) we were all STARVING! Our food was set out beautifully for us and tasted wonderful I could not have been more pleased with her service I would highly recommend her :) THANKS KAREN YOU'RE AWESOME!

  Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with! Given our wedding was planned remotely without ever having visited, Karen’s knowledge of cabin weddings and suggestions on how to make things run smoothly was invaluable. There is always an element of anxiety in the unknown; however, Karen made me feel fully confident in her capabilities having never even met her. She did just as she said she would do providing delicious food promptly and quietly just before our ceremony. Her pricing is very reasonable and the quality of food was absolutely sensational! I highly recommend Karen and her team.

  Food was so good. Cake was absolutely beautiful. We had to much food for the guest that showed up...but that was because some didn't show. So we had plenty of left overs.
  We had the cake done in fondant, so some of the guest didn't like that. But it had a nice layer of butter cream frosting under so I had them peal off the fondant and eat it without it. Cake was moist and frosting was rich and sweet.
  Great lady to work with and sometimes was not able to get back to me right away (she had a family emergency the week before the wedding), but was able to make everything awesome for my big day and was completely original. Loved her

  Not happy. Had to cancel date because of job relocating to New York. Called and was informed even though I was giving them 3 months notice, they would NOT refund my $100. Then informed me that their sales were suffering. Not my problem. Bad business to keep deposit just because sales are down. Wouldn't use unless you are 100 percent sure your event is a go.

  Actually it was not a 3 month notice Heidi, when you canceled. You booked for October which is our busiest month of the year. As I explained, if we get another person to take your cancellation we do send you your deposit . We don't just lose $100.00 we lose potentially a job, or two...depending on time of day...And about our business suffering; that was the year after the fires. We had all guests cancelling because their cabins burned. They did get full refunds. We lost 80% down that year. My bedridden mom just had a second stroke and I was in no mood to argue with you.You were not very nice about it. A deposit is to hold your date / timit.I just found this in my file. I always respond. I am sorry you felt slighted.
