I truly can’t recommend Aaron enough as a wonderful photographer, professional, and all around person! Aaron did both our wedding and engagement photos, and the results each time blew us away. He has an incredible eye for color and context, and beautifully, authentically celebrates both people and their settings - he captured not only the small details and nuances of our day but also its overall feel of sweeping, vibrant love. Throughout the entire planning process, he was also so reassuring to work with – laid-back and relaxed while always professional, and he kept all pre-event as well as day-of photography timeline pieces moving forward seamlessly. Last but most definitely not least, he enthusiastically embraced our many non-traditional wishes and event elements, delivering photos that truly commemorate *us* and our loved ones. I would recommend Aaron for anyone that wants stunning, authentic visual storytelling. -

We hate being the center of attention. So we were worried about having photos of us taken at our wedding. BUT! Several of our friends had hired Aaron to take their wedding photos, and we were really impressed with how they turned out. When we met with Aaron, we knew it would be a great match. He was super relaxed and friendly while still being professional, punctual, and responsive. He was communicative with us leading up to the wedding and was super thoughtful in his responses about the photography planning.The day of the wedding, he and his co-photographer were fantastic. They arrived on time and were very professional and organized. They were also funny and real, and somehow made the awkwardness of having our photos taken seem like it wasn't that bad! He can definitely get you laughing if you're feeling uncomfortable.
We are absolutely blown away by the photos Aaron took at our wedding. Getting married in downtown Phoenix was very important to us, and Aaron took us to some great spots that really reflected the feeling we wanted our wedding to have. His photos feel like genuine reflections of us as a couple. We're incredibly happy we picked Aaron and will absolutely recommend him to everyone we know!Aaron Kes Photography's reply:

We originally found Aaron on yelp, we met with him and he worked with him on our engagement photos. It was after that that we decided to start that he would do our wedding as well and luckily he was available. Aaron will exceed your expectations without a doubt. He is super laid-back, easy to work with and a fun individual that will make your wedding day a breeze. We were so satisfied with our engagement photos and just recently got a sneak peek of our wedding photos, four days after the wedding. He is quick and does not disappoint. The photo that we got as a teaser is incredibly beautiful. We love it so much and can’t wait to see the rest of the photos because we know his work kicks ass. If you want a stress-free, fun for tog are for we were so satisfied with our engagement photos and just recently got a sneak peek of our wedding photos, four days after the wedding. He is quick and does not disappoint. The photo that we got as a teaser is incredibly beautiful. We love it so much and can’t wait to see the rest of the photos because we know his work kicks ass. If you want to photographer that is laid-back, professional, and just a super cool person, Aaron is your guy. User1970350 Sent on 12/15/2014Aaron gets the shots. He is worth every penny (and more)! Everyone’s heard horror stories of photographers that just stand there idly while missing important moments. Not Aaron! He worked non-stop for hours at the wedding. It’s almost like he had a clone, he was in so many places at once. And he will get down on the ground and up in the air (within reason, ha) to get your best photos. He is funny and personable and makes family and friends - kids, men, women, and the elderly - feel comfortable and at ease. Aaron is also very prompt and responsive – which is an important and appreciated quality. He gets back to you right away and answers your questions in a friendly and quick manner. He listens to what you want (we worked off a shot list, but also improvised as needed) and can also help guide you with ideas and experience of his own. His finished photographs are absolutely beautiful. He made the already lovely setting look even better than it did in real life and captured so many genuine expressions and special moments from the day. I have recommended him to family, friends, and coworkers time and again – and will continue to do so. Do yourself a favor and hire him! -
User1951922 Sent on 12/04/2014Aaron Kes is a photographer that listens to what you want and then transforms your day into a story. He worked on my official wedding day 10/31/14 as a photographer as well as at my secondary wedding on 11/15/14. He is very professional, courteous, and prompt. He scouts out his locations - figuring out what areas will provide the best lighting and pictures to capture you in the best photos possible. He is very good at getting groups (and even small children) staged without looking staged, taking a basic photo on your list such as a picture of your invitation and making it look like a work of art, and even wiping the sweat from your brow on a hot, sunny day. There are so many photos he took that I want to hang in my house, that it's hard for me to choose. I love them all! One thing that struck a chord with me personally was that he is very detail oriented and responsive to email, texts, etc. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and he made the process very easy. I look forward to working with him again soon. I highly recommend everyone use Aaron for any photos they may need to have done whether its for a wedding or even just family photos for your house.
