Egna has done many events for us but this last one was ger biggest undertaking. She has excellent organizational skills and so many years of experience in her industry. She will foresee problems that might arise and will handle them before they become an issue. A flexible gem
From the start Egna was very easy to work with us to come up with the best design that we would love. She had a show room where I went to see what the linens, and vases would look like. Egna was very flexible as we tried to figure out our perfect look we made a lot of changes and she was happy to make the changes for us and provide advice as needed. I cannot recommend Egna enough as your wedding coordinator. I just got married a few days ago and she made my wedding stress free and a great experience. She is professional, pays attention to detail and is not afraid to stand up to other vendors to make sure that you get what you want. In addition, if you have an outdoor ceremony she will make sure to monitor the weather so that your wedding ceremony does not have to be moved indoors. I am so greatful to have hired her!

After researching extensively for a Day of Wedding Coordinator,I hired Egna for our daughter’s wedding on April 30, 2022. It was such a great decision! Egna is so warm and personable, highly experienced and confident in her abilities, extremely hard working and offers excellent value for the services she offers.
She was truly a blessing for us the day of the wedding. She was indispensable!
You can have full confidence in entrusting Egna with handling every aspect of ensuring the wedding day unfolds as scheduled and with ease.
We had an unexpected stressful situation regarding our candles in our candelabras overheating before the reception doors opened. It was very alarming to me and I am so grateful for how Egna while not our supplier for either the candles or candleabras
handled the situation and me :) so calmly ! I couldn't have been more pleased
With Egna as our coordinator. She goes above and beyong right through cleanup at the end of the sendoff. She is there to work and ensure everything goes off smoothly the entire day. Lastly, her pricing is very fair and affordable!

What would I have done without Egna? She was AMAZING at coordinating my wedding. I don't think she gets enough credit for all her hard work. First, Egna is very professional and responsive. She gave such creative suggestions and sound advice from her years of experience during my wedding planning. When I had to postpone my wedding due to the pandemic, she was so sweet and compassionate. She worked so well with me and my vendors. She took my ideas with placement and decor and made them into more than I could fathom. Most importantly, when things ran chaotic, she was there orchestrating everyone like a pro with a smile on her face. So many wonderful things to say about Egna. She made my wedding day a breeze. I hired her as my event coordinator and as my event designer. She was really a one stop shop and took the stress out of finding multiple vendors. She took care of everything from flowers and decor for ceremony to centerpieces and set up for our sweetheart table and family tables. As for as my coordinator, she planned out my timeline for the day and executed everything the day of flawlessly. Even to the final details at the end of the night making sure all my personal decor, gifts and belongings went to the appropriate people so that I could leave the event blissfully happy. Our wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed thanks to Egna! She took the time to really listen and understand what I wanted my wedding day to look like then she delivered exactly what I was thinking and more. I did not have to worry about setting anything up or worry after we left the reception...she took care of everything. She had our bouquets at the church on time and then went to set everything up at the venue so it was all ready by the time we got there. She was exactly on time for picking everything up as well. Spoke to Egna via email and messenger on Wedding wire, and met her once in person to go over flowers, chargers, candles, linens.. etc. Flawless is all is have to say. They got some bows and flowers on the pews at the church. A Particular Event did an amazing job draping and lighting my wedding reception hall! Their hard work completely transformed the space. They draped all four walls and added uplighting in two colors, draped the ceiling, and created a beautiful backdrop for our sweetheart table with fabric as well. The package for the lighting and draping was extremely affordable and I knew I could always reach out to Egna, the owner, for any questions or concerns leading up to the wedding. I used A Particular Event / Egna for day-of coordination and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Egna is so sweet- but don't let that sweetness fool you, she is sweet but composed and not afraid to speak up when it's needed, she knows her stuff! She knew my venue was especially picky about clean-up and when I stopped in the day after to get my deposit, the venue told me the place looked like a wedding never even happened and that they'd be adding her to the list of their preferred vendors! If that's not a glowing review I don't know what else is! She was early to arrive for rehearsal and kept everything in line both then and on the big day. She always has a warm smile on her face and a hug when she sees you. She will suggest other options instead of telling you "I don't know" or "No"." No" is never an answer. I must have met with her every month up until the day of our wedding (almost 12 times). She smiled, suggested and nodded through all of my idea and theme changes. I do not know where to begin! Wow, Egna was fantastic. She is so sweet & organized. She has an eye for design and she is definitely who you want to be working your wedding. TRUST ME! Egna with A Particular Event was absolutely AMAZING. She was reasonably priced and provided so many services that were really nice to all get from the same place. The fact that she was my DOC, Florist and Linen Rental made it all easy. Every time we met with her, we talked about the timeline and what the vision was for the wedding, then that conversation turned right into flowers and linens and what would look best for the vision we were talking about. I loved that I didn't have to teach TWO people the vision I wanted for the entire thing. It was amazing. She exceeded my expectations and was such a value! I am sad I won't be seeing her anymore because she's such a positive light in the midst of all the stress planning a wedding brings. Leaving her office always made me feel calm and in great hands. She executed the wedding absolutely perfect. Thank you for being so awesome Egna. Nick, my mom and I are all very grateful you were able to make the day so easy!

No one from either sides of the family had to take care of anything or worry the day of because she was constantly on top of the schedule and everything that had to get done. We chose the Day Of Coordination services and Egna was very responsive weeks before the wedding. Due to me being out of town, we even video chatted to plan! She provided suggestions and ultimately emphasized our requests. She's a professional. We had a traditional Viet wedding, and she coordinated perfectly. She's wonderful to work with. I feel so much better that she was one of the 3 ladies who were on my team to pull off our day. She advocated for me and really helped me be less stressed than it could have been. She met with us when I was able to come to town to really get an idea of what we wanted. I was on a limited budget and her services are very affordable. My ring girl ran away from the group often and Egna always found her lol. And I trusted Egna with our wedding gifts during the ceremony, that was a huge relief knowing she safely secured it. Everyone needs at least a wedding day coordinator but now I wish I chose her for the whole thing. Thank you Egna, you helped save the day!

From her service, responsiveness, professionalism, everything was on par if not above and beyond any high end wedding service coordinators. You cannot go wrong with Egna, Egna can do no wrong. She was so sweet, was on point with everything during the whole day. My mind was thinking about 10 different things at once, every time I made a change she quickly relayed to the other vendors. Egna by far was the greatest investment we made into our wedding!! She literally made my vision come true on my wedding day down to the very last details!! We used her for day of coordination, rehearsal coordination and all of our wedding florals. My flowers were GORGEOUS and just as I had imagined. One of my bridesmaids, who also does wedding florals and was in my wedding so could't for my event, even thought Egna did a great job!
Egna is very encouraging and excited to do her job. She was always very prompt with emails, willing to help, put us at ease, all with a smile on her face. She certainly goes above and beyond especially in comparison to the prices that she charges. This is a person who truly enjoys her job and is committed to making your wedding day flawless.
My husband, who is a critic by nature, can't stop raving about Egna and was happy we decided to spend the extra money for her day of coordination.
Bottom line....Amazing service at an amazing price, thank you Egna!!

From the beginning, Egna was always very flexible. She never said "no" to anything. Her prices are so much more reasonable than other vendors we researched. We received so many compliments on our centerpieces and church decor. Egna was always positive and upbeat. The day of our wedding, she had everything under control. After meeting with the coordinator the venue had recommended, I didn’t feel like it was a good fit and felt very restricted on whatever was listed on this sheet of “day of coordinator duties.” I decided to go off on my own and was so glad I found Egna!! Egna was amazing as our florist and day-of coordinator! The flowers were B E A U T I F U L. Exactly what we asked for. And Egna was so sweet and on-point the entire day. She got everything to us, in place, or set up on time and the night went flawlessly. We were planning our wedding from out-of-town and she was so kind as to receive and hold on to several things for us (programs, menus, favors, etc...) for the big day. At our reception she made sure that my mom had the gluten free cake that she asked for and that my parents had food and drink in hand at all times :)
I would recommend Egna and a Particular Event to any bride who does not want to stress on her wedding day, and who wants a coordinator that truly cares about the success of their event!

Our wedding was on 03-23-13, and the decorations, bridal party flowers, centerpieces turned out even more beautiful than I had pictured! And I LOVED my bouquet, she added a few bluebonnets to it and it was gorgeous!! Mrs. Egna was on top of everything, even when my venue had setbacks, she was calm and on top of things and was way more organized than we were! She worked with our budget and was such a joy to work with because she is such a sweet and happy person. Egna was the best wedding planner we selected for our wedding day. After firing our previous wedding planner due to neglect, miscommunication, and ignoring our emails, Egna came to our rescue. She worked within our budget and we hired her for month of coordinator. Right away, she sketched out our plan and showed us how our decor, flowers, and colors would fit into our Italian theme. She always returned our emails within hours or less than a day. She was flexible to our guest count and also when I changed my flowers a week before. Egna is a wonderful, great person who knows how to lead and can think quickly for any situation. For example, my husband and were getting pulled in different directions. She told us to relax, got caterer to bring our plates and our drinks. She was always there and cued us when it was time for each event. We had a small issue with DJ and Egna did not trouble us with the problem. She added that special touch of Mrs. and Mrs. sign on our chairs. Egna made our flowers and they looked great. Our wedding reception decorations were royal blue and orange was more beautiful than I had envisioned and everyone kept talking how nice everything looked. We plan to recommend her to all our friends and family.

Her prices are very competitive and her products and delivery of service are impeccable. She gave me great ideas on linens, flowers, and table decorations. When we found out how much it was going to be, I was almost hesitant because it was so cheap. My husband and I were able to enjoy the day without having to worry about a thing. I can't say enough about the wonderful job she did! I would absolutely recommend her services to any bride.

Everything was wonderful and better than i could've ever expected! Very patient with me and all my changes, extremely reasonable above all other places we checked out. Flowers and arrangements were perfect, I was so happy! I have not one single complaint. I will recommend this vendor to all my friends future events.

The best wedding cordinator that me and anyone could have. She was very flexible in working with me on the flowers and cordination service. She was on top of everything on the day of the wedding day. She is great and has a very good personality.

For second consultation (the one that is approximately 1 month before event date) it might be nice if the meeting is just simply a review of the contract, if it could be done via fax or email. It would save a trip of time and gas money.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Olga provided the floral decor for my ceremony and reception, as well as all the flowers for the wedding party and my bridal bouquet. I described what I wanted and she made it come to life! She worked with my budget and exceeded all of my expectations. She even sent me a thank you card after the wedding! Egna was amazing! Very fun to work with, reasonably priced. She handled everything from the bouquets and arrangements at my ceremony in the Galleria area, to the reception table linens, chair covers, flowers, and vases for my reception at Minute Maid Park. Second Time
I've been married before and used Egna for my first wedding. She was very sweet and took care of everything, and we paid to use her linens. The second time, I had a better idea of what I wanted, and I'm not a traditional bride. Egna provided us an upgrade at no charge and and made sure everything was on time for the timeline. I really appreciated everything on the day of. She really helped with the boutonnieres too.
Challenges: I think though that sometimes the language barrier has caused some misunderstandings between several of my vendors and her, as I was informed my venue coordinator snapped at her. I also wanted the cake cutting to be right after the grand entrance and I wanted my fiance and I to grab our parents for the first dance. She was worried that dinner was not going to work well. She said my timeline sounded challenging so she'd have to charge extra for the additional stress. I was upset because this is after I've already paid in full. My family noticed that her tone was different than usual. Other than that, I have been very grateful for how well she took care of us on Saturday, it was no easy feat. I would definitely refer with a few caveats.
