5ive Star Media did an excellent job videotaping our wedding!!! Steve was there for every caption and candid motions of the wedding. I highly recommend 5ive Star to anyone needing wedding video services.

We received a demo from 5iveStar of another Wedding they filmed in the Harper's Ferry area and we were both impressed with the quality and price. Mike and Steve were our videographers and they did an outstanding job. After the Wedding we dealt primarily with Ed who was the editor on our video. He assisted us with sending in our photos for the montage and highlights sections and also the music used in various photo and highlights sections. We were very pleased with all facets of the process and would highly recommend them to our friends.

We just received our edited videos and blu-ray copies from 5iveStar Media Productions ... and we are so excited !!! The quality is outstanding and we loved our two videographers ... Steve Young and Mike. The answered all of our questions prior to and after the Wedding and their response to any phone calls or emails was almost instantaneous .... and for the price they charged .... we couldn't be happier. If you are on the fence as to whether you can afford a videographer ... please try your best to hire a professional videographer ... we were also on that fence and our now so happy that we could fit a videographer into our budget. I've been acquainted with 5ive Star's quality of service through friends who have used their services. We used 5ive Star for both our photography and videography. They are perfectionists but creative and fun! They ran through every shot we requested artfully and quickly so we could concentrate on our guests. During the reception we hardly knew they were there but always made sure to grab the perfect shot at the perfect moment.

Mike and I selected 5iveStar for videography services based on the job they did on my Matron of Honor's wedding DVD and her recommendation. They were very personable and professional. We could not be more pleased with the service provided us by 5iveStar Media Productions. The office staff took the time to answer all our questions and offered suggestions that helped save us money. Prior to the ceremony, the videographer contacted us to introduce himself, give a little of his history and to inquire about any special needs for our big day. That interaction before the ceremony really helped to put our fears to rest and made us feel like he was an old family friend that was there to share in our day as opposed to a paid observer. He managed to capture every important moment from the event. The video is such high quality. With the background music and special effects that were added, our family and friends can't believe we could afford 5iveStar with our rather modest budge. The entire organization is such a class act. You can't go wrong with 5iveStar...for us, they truly live up to that name.

Both the photographer and videographer did an outstanding job. They took every photo that we requested, plus many, many more. They truly captured our day and told our story from beginning to end. The level of professionalism is outstanding. The moments that they captured on still photos and video are outstanding. We look forward to playing our video every year on our anniversary. 5ive Star is amazing!!!! Such a professional company and did a great job videographing my wedding! It seemed like he was barely there but caught all the perfect moments!! He even made friends with my Grandfather and my whole family loved his presence. He was in the crowd getting all the right shots but wasn't ever in the way! Very professional, punctual, and always got back to me immediatly! We loved having him at our wedding and truly appreciate him catching the great moments on the most important day of my life!

My experience with 5iveStar was wonderful and I highly recommend them for videography services. Jim and his assistant did an incredible job capturing all of the moments of our wedding day and were great to work with as well. Jim was very responsive to my questions prior to the wedding, and very flexible and accommodating the day of the wedding. Our video arrived months earlier than expected, and watching it allowed us to relive the best day of our lives all over again! I could not have had a better experience with our wedding videographer! 5ive Star Media was so helpful before, during, and after our wedding. As stressful as planning a wedding can be, Jim Ratliff (President of 5ive Star) made the videography portion of our wedding stress-free. Whenever I had a question about their services prior to our wedding, Jim always e-mailed back promptly. On the day of our wedding, the videographers were always around to capture the wonderful moments of our day, but managed to never get in the way of our guests! To top off how impressed I was with their services, the company also offered to do something very special for me. Unfortunately, my photographer lost all of the posed family and bridal party shots at the church after our ceremony. Jim, without question, offered to pull freeze-frame images off of the video (since he filmed during that part of the day) and send us a CD with as many formal shots as he could find. His willingness to do this for us made us so thankful and helped to alleviate some of the stress from the photographer's devastating news. My husband and I would absolutely recommend 5ive Star Media Productions to any couple in the Metro-DC area who wish to have a team of videographers help to capture their special day!

Me and my husband could not be happier with the service provided to us by 5iveStar Media Productions!! To be completely honest 5iveStar was the only vendor we used that we did not have some personal connection with. Every other vendor we either knew personally or through a family member so needless to say I was a little apprehensive at first. We found their company through Wedding Wire reviews and we are soo thankful we did!

We were fortunate to work closely with Jim Ratiliff during the wedding planning process as he was always prompt with his responses and super helpful! So awesome that I was a little disappointed at first when I found out he wasn't shooting our wedding. However, he assured me that the videographer Steve Young would exceed our expectations. He sure did!!

Steve called me the week before and from the moment I talked to him all my worries dissipated. He told me all about his previous years of experience and willingness to get to the church 3 hours early to set up (even though he had to travel over and hour and half to get there). He really did an AMAZING job!!! He worked around all of our church guidelines and all of my family and friends LOVED him!! I was a little nervous about being on camera all day but he did such a great job of capturing every moment without me even realizing he was there! He truly seemed to love his job and wanted to make sure we got all of our special day on film.

Our engaged friends have already asked for his contact info and I plan to use him for all our other events in our future! I am usually not one to write reviews but I am so thankful for the wedding wires review about 5iveStar that I had to return the favor! Without these reviews I would have never been able to find a company as great as 5iveStar!!

5ive Star did an excellent job with our wedding video. They captured every bit of the ceremony and reception. It was so nice to be able to see things we had missed. Our videographers were Mike and Steve. They were professional and alot of fun. I was a nervous bride but in speaking with them about a week prior to the wedding they helped to calm my worries. They were prompt, unobtrusive, friendly and did great work. They were also very responsive when I called/emailed with questions. We received our finished DVDs quicker than we thought and were very pleased with them. Great job 5ive Star. We would definitely recommend 5ive Star for your videography needs.
