Owned and operated by Sherlene Bradbury, she brings over 30 years of experience in insurance replacement and estate appraisals and Fair Market evaluation as well as a vast history of jewelry retailing to your doorstep. With a portable laboratory, laptop and printer, she can appraise your jewelry in the privacy of your home or office and in most cases, print the document immediately.

With over 25 years of jewelry retailing experience, she can assist in pre and post sale consulting, repairs and designing along with advice on liquidation.

Have a stone and you don’t know what it is? Stone identification is offered for a nominal fee.

Photomicrographs are available as an add-on to your digital pictures. These photos show the internal or close-up external characteristics of your stone.

Credentials:

Sherlene began her jewelry career while still a student at Millersville State University in Lancaster, PA.. She worked in sales in a regionally owned jewelry store from 1979-1982 . From there, she ventured to Santa Monica, CA to attend GIA and graduated first in her class in August of 1982. She holds a Graduate Gemologist-In-Residence diploma from the Gemological Institute of America and is a charter member of the GIA Alumni Association. She is at present, an active member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers and treasurer of the DC chapter of the GIA Alumni Association as well as a past secretary. In 1991, she attended the Gemological Symposium and received a Member Recognition Award.

Sherlene has over 20 years of jewelry retailing experience in one of Washington’s finest privately owned companies. She gained experience in sales, appraising, jewelry design, corporate and second-hand buying.

She has had articles published in both Washington Woman and Your Health magazines as well as the Travel section of the Washington Post.
