My now husband and I are so happy to have used the Diamond Shop. We started ring shopping with the priority of budget friendly and quality. We went to many different nationwide jewelry stores before deciding on a private jeweler. We first met Jennifer while engagement ring shopping. She helped us choose every detail and allowed us to have extra options for the center diamond. I originally wanted a certain diamond until I read about the possible blue fluorescent tone. Jennifer quickly ordered a similar diamond of quality and size. Jennifer even set them in the sunlight together so I could choose my favorite for my ring. When my ring was complete, the appraisal came back to show the worth was 1.5 times what we bought it for!! Everyone compliments my ring and I am still blown away by the sparkle. We used the Diamond shop for our wedding bands with special engraving on the inside. My now husband even worked with Jennifer for my wedding present (a gold locket with engraving and our picture inside). We felt like family and have quality jewelry that now are a part of our story. The diamond shop has been in business for more than 100 years for this reason.

Mona was very accommodating and helped immensely in diamond selection and financing options. We loved the Sylvie brand and came to the Diamond Shop because they are one of the Sylvie retailers in St. Louis. However we gave our business to the Diamond Shop because of the quality customer service we received on each visit. Additionally, ring cleanings are always thorough and quickly done!

We had been referred here by family and friends and I must say it was the right choice!!! My husband had the main stone for my engagement ring from a family member and they were able to find a setting that looked beautiful. We then selected at matching band and the whole process was wonderful. Pricing was excellent. We moved and they were able to ship my band to us. Whenever we are in town we stop in and they remember us. We have since bought other items from them and will for sure use them in the future!!!!

I loved The Diamond Shop!! I designed my own rings, because I wanted something special, and they were all for it. My rings turned out beautifully with no problems whatsoever. They even stuck to their estimate after it went $4000 over budget. It went over budget not because of me though, which may have turned out differently. Basically, they used smaller diamonds than they initially were going to and it required a lot more man hours to create. Both of my bands consist of small pave diamonds. It really speaks volumes that they stuck to their word and I recommend them to everyone. They are a small family-owned diamond shop in Clayton with a great reputation. They will show you everything you ask to see and work with you to do whatever you want.
My husband's band was not from here. He fell in love with a piece at Timekeeper's, which is also in Clayton. He had a relationship with the owner as he had bought some pieces from them previously. I also bought my husband his wedding present from Timekeeper's, which was a Rolex with a diamond and sapphire bezel. I got it for a very decent price and my husband was thrilled. You can really haggle with them on prices, so if you see something you like, don't be afraid to ask how much better they can do.
