About

The Corridor String Quartet is comprised of experienced, professional string players and an outstanding trumpet player. We are all either members of Orchestra Iowa, Quad City Symphony or University of Iowa faculty members and have years of experience providing first class music for receptions and weddings. We are primarily a classical string quartet, but we do take some requests and have some popular tunes in our repertory.

Superb strings!

Amy was a pleasure to work with. The quartet’s repertoire is great and they were willing to do a couple pièces that we’re not on their list as well. Just beautiful! Thanks so much for helping to make my daughter’s wedding reception welcoming and memorable!

Corridor quartet really made our wedding ceremony special!

Very easy to work with. Gave us a huge list of music for us to pick from. They coordinated perfectly with our officiant, arrived very early, and their music added so much to our wedding ceremony. Afterwards everyone kept talking about how amazing the quartet was. Thanks Amy!!! :)

Sounded Amazing!

We hired the Corridor Quartet for our ceremony, and they were amazing! Amy was very responsive while I was planning, and gave great suggestions while I was picking which pieces I wanted played. Their music added a lot to the ceremony - a guest in the hotel heard them and came to get their contact info for another wedding! They also did great with taking cues from the officiant to start or stop during the ceremony. Definitely recommend!
