Takes the Cake is an independent catering company located in Annapolis, Maryland.  The owner and chef, Debbie Kupfer, officially started her business over 20 years ago by making desserts for some local restaurants in Annapolis, MD.  With no formal training, but a passion for baking and cooking instilled in her by her mother at a young age, she began her journey.  Traveling abroad often, she incorporates her international culinary experiences into her work.  Whether it be something as simple as a child’s birthday cake or as elaborate as a catered wedding for 200 or more people, she and her staff can meet your needs with creativity and attention to detail.
