Sarah Skidmore, floral designer and owner, traces her love for flowers back to her childhood - picking gerbera daisies for her grandmother and daffodils for her mother.  Little did she know that this would one day become her way of life.  In 2004, Sarah graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, with a concentration in Floral Design.  While at MSU, she worked at the oktibbeha County Co-Op, The Flower Company,and The University Florist, where she also served as student manager. Upon graduation, Sarah worked with a florist in Plymouth, North Carolina, making various wedding, funeral, and special event arrangements.  After moving back to Mississippi, Sarah founded Sweet Scents Floral Design in 2005, specializing in weddings and special events.  In her wedding work, she strives to take the ideas and personality of the bride and groom and weave them into the designs of the wedding.   She is a stay at home mom and free lances out of her home, enabling her to travel and do weddings nearly anywhere.
