Every bride has a favorite part during the wedding planning. Mine was not the dress, neither cake nor the decorations; it was photography. Especially when your love ones can't be there for you.

Simply Bloom was my first and only choice. Their pictures are not frozen like the ones that we witness most of the time; they all tell you a story, even when time passes and you come to a moment that you can't remember things any more, they will be right beside you to help you to remember your very important moments. So I thought they would help me too to share my story with my mother who is so so far away from us.

Simply Bloom is everything you could want in a wedding photographer. From the very beginning these ladies took a genuine interest in us and our big day. As a bride planning my Alabama wedding while living in Oklahoma, I was grateful for their consistent communication and flexibility when dealing with my long distance situation. They were eager to learn about the details of our wedding day, and I was so grateful for their help developing a photography plan that flawlessly fit in with the rest of the day's schedule. The day of the wedding, they were on time and immediately started scoping out the venue for places to take portraits later on. These ladies have such a unique creative eye, and you can trust them to find the perfect spot to photograph your dress, floral arrangements, rings, and most importantly, you and your guests. They kept a smile on their face throughout the day, and I was honored to have them as a part of my day. The photos are even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and they truly did capture the essence of the day.

Not sure where to even start describing the experience I had with Amanda of Simply Bloom Photography, except "perfect." They covered my engagement, bridal, and wedding day photos, and I'm so glad I trusted them with this precious time in my life.

From the beginning, even before we had a contract or I had made my final decision, the ladies of SB were helping me with wedding photography ideas.

Enagement photos: I had decided I wanted a fairytale/picnic style shoot, and the girls were great on helping me scheme up styling. And then day of the shoot, Amanda and Ginny were eager and willing to help me hang my window sills and set up all of the props.
Amanda was also great at emailing me some of my photos ahead of the CD images, so that I could include them with my invitations.

The ladies also were helpful in recommending a great hair and makeup stylist for the shoots.

My bridals turned out flawlessly beautiful. I had locked my dress into my car earlier that day, and was very frazzled, but Amanda & Ginny were angels and helped me to relax and really enjoy the time.

Wedding day: Amanda was my God-send. She helped me keep track of the time, caught all the details for pictures. It was so nice not having to worry about where I needed to be next for pictures; Amanda was on top of everything, and it was great to be able to lean on her for that.

After seeing all of my wedding photos, I could have cried. They were beautiful and perfect and captured that true fairytale essence I had dreamed of.

Vania and Christine were absolute dreams to work with. They're geniuses behind the camera with a gift for finding gorgeous shots. The price point can seem, at first, a bit high. However, when you see those images of your wedding day you will be glad you invested in these keepsakes. Planning a wedding, let's face it, can be stressful. But, Vania and Christine took the worry out of photographs and made us all feel at ease in front of the lens. Simply Bloom did an absolutely stunning job with our farm wedding. They were completely flexible and captured the essence of our day perfectly. As a professional photographer, I was very picky when choosing a wedding photographer, but these ladies did an impeccable job!

My husband and I, knowing that photography was of huge importance to us, raked through over 300 photographers before we finally found Simply Bloom in an article in Southern Weddings. Many high end photography studios charge a great deal for photography that doesn't reflect a certain attention to detail, to emotion, to subtly. With Simply Bloom, however, you really get a high level of quality and beauty for the price. From the time we drew up the contract to the months after our wedding, Simply Bloom Photography has surpassed all of our expectations. Christine and Vania, German and Italian respectively, bring their traveled experiences to the eyes of their lens. In particular, their attention to light, and its ability to illuminate its subjects from within, create a dreamy style of photography that my husband and I are excited to share with our families for years. As a stressed bride, with a million decisions, Christine and Vania made our process with them straight forward, yet warm and very positive. They really helped us capture our wedding in Sarasota even though it rained briefly making things interesting :) They're both really wonderful women who, on your wedding day, help make it more special by taking a way a layer of stress. Plus, they're awesome people :)

The one tangible thing my husband and I knew we would have after our big day was pictures. We both had a specific vision in mind and after months of attempting to find the perfect local vendor, we decided to broaden our scope. I looked back at the inspiration photos I had saved from my favorite wedding blogs and found that I was really drawn to the Simply Bloom aesthetic. So I sent off my inquiry and crossed my fingers. A few days later we got a response back and luckily they were free! We communicated a lot through e-mail and Vania was great with answering the endless number of questions I had.

Everything happened so quickly on the wedding day that it took me a little while to realize that our photographer Vania brought along someone else rather than Christine. Since they were the only two photographer ever mentioned on their blogs I was a little surprised at first but it all ended up working out great. The other photographer was their new associate photographer, Amanda. She was very warm and friendly. Pre-weddng I was afraid I wouldn't know how to pose for photos but Vania was fantastic with telling us how to stand and what to do and giving us directions for slight adjustments. Vania and Amanda were very easy to work with and we both felt really comfortable with them.

We LOVED our photos. The pictures felt right in line with all of their blog photos I had saved for inspiration. We have a handful of favorites taken by Vania and a handful by Amanda. They really embodied the joy we felt on the big day and we're overjoyed that we hired the Simply Bloom team to capture all of it. You won't be dissapointed if you hire these very talented ladies!
