About

My name is Rev. Maggie Duval and I am a nondenominational minister specializing in spiritual rather than "religious" nontraditional and traditional (or a blend of the two!) wedding ceremony services.Your ceremony is custom-tailored to your needs, personality and vision. I am also available for elopements, commitment ceremonies for life partners, renewal of vows, blended family ceremonies, prenuptial ceremonies, house blessings, product launches, funerals/wakes/memorials, baptisms, naming ceremonies - anything that begs for ritual and blessing.

I have a sound base in all of the world's religious traditions and can blend together any into a wholly new service. In addition to traditional rituals such as as the ring exchange, I also offer Celtic hand fastings, unity candles, the sand ceremony, washing of the feet of the beloved, family medallions, rose exchange and much, much more - all you need do is ask.

Unlike the thousands of people calling themselves nondenominational ministers after purchasing their ordination online for $20, I was ordained in 2003 by Silent Light Spiritual Science School after four years of intense theological and philosophical study. I have a deep respect for all religions and creeds, seeing each and every one as different paths to God. I am comfortable with and enjoy talking about spiritual doctrines and philosophies with wedding guests, sometimes a concern for the bride and groom who may come from more traditional spiritual backgrounds.
