The Newport Grill exceeded our expectations on all fronts! The food was phenomenal and everyone was raving about it still weeks after. Their timing with the courses, served drinks, and the served hors d'oeuvres was perfect (which, for 90 ppl, was a primary concern of mine since they were a restaurant and not a banquet catering company but they executed beautifully!). The staff were so attentive and the service really was above and beyond - we were so well taken care of!
The venue itself is a well laid out space and very well maintained - the space works perfectly for large parties and the view cannot be beat.
Would definitely recommend this venue - all our guests commented on what a great choice we made :)

Food and service was outstanding. The venue is located on a beautiful lake and its big windows make the room airy and species. Our guests still talk about this special event and how great everything went. My wedding planner synchronized every element of my wedding with Newport Grill's management. They truly listen what we wanted and they delivered a great party for my guests.

We really enjoyed having our wedding at the Newport. The staff are all friendly, professional, and full of helpful advice. The location can't be beaten, and the decor is lovely! The view of the lake is wonderful, and we had the most dramatic sunset on the day of our wedding. The location was made even better because we did our photos at Lake Bonavista as well.

If wine and food are important to you, the Newport is also a great choice! We definitely got great reviews about both from our guests. We also got to meet with the chef and wine expert on several occasions to make sure that we had chosen the best options for our guests.

The only negative about the Newport is that their pricing and payment options are a bit involved/complicated, and there is very little flexibility. Also, the cost to get the staff to cut and serve your wedding cake is very high! Be prepared to have your guests serve themselves.

I would definitely recommend the Newport for a wedding venue. We had a lovely experience! :)
